Abstract

Abstract Cassava and sweet potato are the main commodity plants in Seloliman. So far, the farmer there directly sell it after harvesting process. However, in case the sales are not much and many quantities of cassava or sweet potato remains, it become tainted which can reduce its quality or ever become waste. Less of knowledge about post harvesting process of that plant makes people less concerned about the potential of its processed product. With the knowledge sharing and workshop of cassava and sweet potato post harvesting process, the society will have insight and knowledge how to process their excess cassava become more valuable food products. Other utilization of healthy fermented drink from microbe symbiont like kefir and kombucha, which use the local flowers or fruits, can be done to boost the local beverage products in Seloliman. Both ways can be one of the steps to empower the Seloliman society to brand their unique products in the future.Keywords: cassava, post-harvest, healthy fermented drink, kefir, kombucha

Abstract

Usaha penanaman mangrove sudah mulai sejak 17 tahun lalu, dengan tujuan untukmenghindari abrasi pantai  Lama-kelamaan banyak mangrove baru yang tumbuh, yangmenjadikannya seperti sekarang. Menarik minat orang untuk berkunjung." Pria yang didapukmenjadi ketua pengelola Taman Wisata Mangrove tersebut menceritakan, destinasi wisatapohon mangrove ini berada di luas lahan sekitar 2 hektare. Dilengkapi fasilitas tiga gazebo danarea jogging track. Di Desa Banyuurip yang tumbuhan mangrove cukup luas, pada saat inibelum banyak yang memanfaatkan buah mangrove untuk diolah menjadi minuman danmakanan khas desa. Dalam menunjang ekonomi pedesaan dengan memberdayakan masyarakatmelalui teknologi pengolahan hasil minuman dan makanan diharapkan dapat menopangkeberadaan BMC sebagai distinasi eco-wisata. Di Desa Banyuurip yang tumbuhan mangrovecukup luas, pada saat ini belum banyak yang memanfaatkan buah mangrove untuk diolahmenjadi minuman (sirup dan Minuman segar) khas desa. Dalam menunjang ekonomi pedesaandengan memberdayakan masyarakat melalui teknologi pengolahan hasil minuman  dandiharapkan dapat menopang keberadaan BMC sebagai distinasi eco-wisata.Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, distinasi eco-wisata, mangrove, Pengolahan hasil

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta ketrampilan pengelola camilan khas Gresik.Pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi penentuan harga pokok produk, SOP pembuatan dan pengemasan produk serta pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Target peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah rumah tangga penghasil camilan khas Gresik pada sentra opak jepit berlokasi di desa Kedung Rukem. Hasilyang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pengelola opak jepit yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja usaha opak jepit.

Abstract

The micro business owner Rahayu with the mek "Pelita Hati" is located on Jl.PandugoVI / 7 Surabaya. This business was established since 2001 and is engaged in bakingbusiness. The produced types of cakes: nastar, syringe cake, peanut cake, cheese cake, chocolatecake, bowl cake, various types of bread and various kinds of pudding.The issue of Rahayu micro business includes:a. Production capacity has not fully met demand.b. Need to increase production capacity.Not able to make a business bookkeeping.c. Limited capital.d. Not yet have the ability to market online and have not fulfilled the administrativesystem.e. Need efficient business planning.The purpose of this activity is:a. To increase motivation, to be able to make clean and halal production.b. Abstract

Asma Nadia is a reading house at Sumbang Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency, Central Java which started on May 26th , 2016. There were nine volunteers at the reading house. The objective of reading house was to increase reading interest and build mental character especially for children. In fact, the reading interest was high but it was not supported with adequate reading house facilities. The limited reading space in reading house made them to shift another area. In addition, the collection of books was limited as well. In terms of library management, there were many unrecorded and unclassified books and ability of volunteers to use information technology were relatively low. Morover, In terms of funding, there had been several efforts made by volunteers such as selling drinks or making paper flower but those were undeveloped well. So, by those problems, some programs had been created such as training Senayan Library Management System (SLIMS) software, classifying and labelling books, holding on e-commerce business communication strategies workshop and children writing competition. The generated outcome from the internal community activities were implemented for library information systems, publications on ISSN community service of scientific journal, and online publication.

Abstract

The increasing cultivation of Vannamei shrimp throughout the archipelago in theaquaculture area lately has made some farmers try to cultivate vannamei shrimp in freshwaterponds, and even exploring farmer groups in urban areas also try to cultivate vannamei shrimp infresh water by utilizing less productive land. Vannamei shrimp that have a high tolerance tosalinity, ie from 2 to 40 ppt, and will even grow quickly at lower salinity. The condition ofshrimp adapted to salinity then made some farmers try to cultivate vannamei shrimp in freshwater through an acclimatization process and successfully carried out shrimp farming at lowsalinity at 2 ppt salinity. Cultivation of vannamei shrimp in fresh water has several advantagesincluding: resistance to the risk of contracting shrimp disease caused by viruses and bacteria thatinfect many shrimp in brackish water. The aim of the activity is to improve the ability andcapacity of the group through counseling and training on how to make good shrimp farming sothat it can increase production efficiency and productivity and minimize the risk of failure ofvannamei shrimp farming. The approach method used to overcome the problems faced by theGotong Royong farmer group is by way of an ongoing participatory approach between theproposing team and partners, as the controller of the Community Partnership program which hasan active role in providing assistance and periodic guidance to partners. From the results of thisactivity the following conclusions were obtained: (1) Cultivation of vannamei shrimp(Litopenaeus Vannamei) on the grounds in the Mutual Cooperation Group was received withgreat enthusiasm, and asked to be accompanied from pond preparation, fry selection, frystocking, monitoring to harvest. (2) The key to the success of shrimp farming in freshwater inurban yards is the selection of fries adapted to fresh water and monitoring water quality andfeeding during cultivation.Keywords: Cultivation, Vannamei, Yard, Intensive, Mutual Cooperation

Abstract

Kabupaten Sidoarjo dikenal dengan kota pertambakan atau penghasilIkan Bandeng, berdasarkanlaporan bahwa produksi Bandeng di Kabupaten Sidoarjo adalah selalu mengalami peningkatanrata-rata 3 ton per-tahun. Pada tahun 2009 produksi bandeng 16 ton, tahun 2010 meningkatmenjadi 19,8 ton, tahun 2011 meningkat lagi menjadi 23,3 ton, tahu 2012 jumlah produksi 26,2ton;  tahun  2013  produksi  bandeng 30, 3 ton dan tahun 2014 meningkat menjadi 33,7 ton.Salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Sidoarjo yaitu Sedati, memiliki tambak yang cukup luas,maka produksi bandeng terpusat di Kecamatan Sedati. Beberapa tahun terakhir banyak dijumpaipenjual jasa pencabut duri bandeng, yang menghasilkan produk Batari atau Bandeng TanpaDuri. Sedangkan sisa (limbah) duri akan terkumpul dalam jumlah yang cukup besar, duri inidibuang begitu saja atau dibuat pakan ternak, artinya belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Salahsatu upaya limbah duri telah dimanfaatkan sebagai campuran membuat abon duri bandeng.Namun demikian limbah duri masih tersedia belum mampu terserap seluruhnya. Oleh karena ituperlu dicarikan solusi untuk pemanfaatannya. Salah satu alternatif adalah duri ikan dibuat bahancampuran dalam membuat “Rengginang Kalsium”. Upaya ini sekaligus untuk meningkatkanpenghasilan tambahan bagi keluarga atau bagi  penjual jasa pencabut duri dan para pembuatrengginang. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PKM “Usaha Produktif Rengginang Kalsium” yangdilaksanakan di Desa Kalanganyar Kecamatan Sedati kabupaten Sidoarjo adalah: 1)Peningkatan manajemen, berupa peningkatan ketrampilan membuat rengginang Kalsium dankemampuan membnuat analisa usaha rengginang kalsium; 2) Peningkatan teknologi, berupateknik membuat rengginang yang cepat, teknologi penjemuran yang cepat, dan teknikpengemasan yang tahan lama; 3) Peningkatan Produksi, berupa peningkatan produksi secarakualitas dan kuantitas.Kata kunci: duri ikan bandeng, rengginang kalsium.

Abstract

Pengharum ruangan yang beredar di pasaran memberikan dampak yang buruk, yaituterganggunya sistem pernafasan dan dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya penyakit kronis. Tujuandari kegiatan PKM yang diusulkan adalah menumbuhkan minat wirausaha siswa melaluikegiatan pembuatan pengharum ruangan dari tanaman Sansevieria yang ramah lingkungan danakan memberikan peluang berkembangnya potensi kreatif dan inovasi. Permasalahan prioritasyang akan ditangani dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah: 1) Sosialisasi kepada siswa SMK tentangpemanfaatan Sansiviera menjadi produk pengharum ruangan yang ramah lingkungan, 2)meningkatan keterampilan siswa SMK untuk membuat produk pengharum ruangan dengankonsentrasi bahan tambahan, 3) meningkatan kemampuan siswa SMK untuk melakukankegiatan promosi untuk mengenalkan produk kepada konsumen. Khalayak sasaran padakegiatan PKM ini adalah peserta kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Peserta  kegiatan iniadalah siswa kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah Lebaksiu Kabupaten Tegal. Metode pendekatanyang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah dengan metodepelatihan dan sosialisasi pembuatan produk pengharum ruangan.Kata kunci: Pengharum ruangan, Sansiviera, wirausaha

Abstract

The proportion of smear positive in 2013-2016 in Sukoharjo District was reported still high in case in 2015 where the cases was 63%. . The purpose this community engagement was to implement the surveillance information system of tuberculosis (TB) using online-spatial in order to support the health officers in community health care (Puskesmas) organizing the spatial TB data integrated better and precisely The decision maker in Puskesmas and health district would be assisted by this activity where it could provide the data base to support TB eradication programs. Method of activities involved the implementation to supervise and train how to apply the information system getting the reporting and recording of data as the national guideline written. The training program conducted were introducing of the software, training of the basic of system applied, and dissemination of data and their analysis from software used. and review of pr-test and post-test activities. Results of service are in the form of material delivery during implementation and training, namely; 1). The spatial database of TB is available in survey application 2). TB officers at the puskesmas, the head of the puskesmas and the head of the sub-sector of TB in the health department who attended greatly appreciated and accepted the activities and use of the survey application. 3).Presentation of data and analysis obtained from the use of the software used as well as the results of the improvement in the ability of success after training that is 66.67% and which is quite successful 33.33%

Abstract

Kecamatan Candi Kabupaten Sidoarjo  Desa Balong Gabus merupakan daerah yang disekitarnya terdapat banyak industri rumah tangga, utamanya para pengrajin pengolahankupang dan petis kupang serta kerupuk kupang. Bahan pembuatan petis kupang sendiri adalahberasal dari limbah pengolahan kupang yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal,  di manaair hasil rebusan kupang dapat dipakai sebagai bahan utama dalam pembuatan petis kupang,disamping perlu dilakukan penambahan bahan lain seperti bumbu-bumbu, agar didapatkanpetis kupang yang enak dan disukai banyak konsumen. Usaha petis kupang yang dijalani mitraadalah usaha keluarga yang telah dirintis secara turun temurun, di mana seiring perkembanganjaman menghasilkan produksi yang meningkat. Tujuan pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian PadaMasyarakat adalah meningkatkan produksi petis kupang berbagai kualitas ditunjang denganpengembangan pemakaian peralatan atau mekanisasi sehingga akan dapat mengurangi biayaoperasional produksi petis kupang. Metode yang diberikan adalah dengan memberikan solusipeningkatan manajemen usaha melalui pembinaan dalam bentuk pendampingan dan pelatihansesuai dengan  jenis usaha produktif yang dikembangkan.Sehingga  mempunyai ketrampilandalam satu bidang usaha dan mempunyai jiwa kewirausahaan yang lebih kuat serta dapatmeningkatkan kuantitas produksi petis kupang yang berkualitas..Kata kunci : Sidoarjo, balong Gabus, petis kupang, mekanisasi
