Abstract

Pluralism is understood as a concept that recognizes diversity in a variety of ways, whether religious, racial, ethnic or cultural diversity. Existing diversity actually becomes intellectual property to be studied. In terms of pluralism, Islamic religion has provided a clear concept that can be used as a guide for the people. The Koran implements fundamental principles for the reality of religious pluralism. The principle that sustains religious pluralism in the Qur'an, first, is the recognition of the existence of Religions. the Qur'an's acceptance of religions other than Islam to coexist, as contained in the words of God, QS. An-Nahl, verse: 93. Second, there is a unity of the divine message, to fear Allah as in QS. Al-Nisa '(4): 131. The message of piety is in principle addressed to all mankind. Third, the principle of freedom of belief, namely the prohibition of imposing religion as in the Qur'an, QS. Al-Baqarah (2): 256. Fourth, there is the unity of the teachings of the prophets, that the basic teachings of religion are the same (even though their outward forms differ) from the first Prophet to the last Prophet, QS. As-Shura (42): 13.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of developing humen character in Islamic perspective which reconstructed by an Indonesian scientist and intellectual, Hidayat Nataatmaja. As it is understood that character plays a very important role in forming one's attitudes and behavior, both as individuals,as a member of community and as a citizen of a nation as well, in order to achieve life goals that is in accordance with the right guidance (Islam). Character development becomes urgent, dealing with development of attitudes and behaviors that are contrary to both religious and cultural values (norms). Character development in Islamic perspective should be based on the value of monotheism (tauhid), based on Qur'an and Hadith texts and as they are in  thoughts of Islamic scholars and scientists, such as Hidajat Nataatmadja. The reconstruction of character formation aimed as an effort to prepare people, especially young muslim scientist who always have commitment to Islam as a true guidance.

Abstract

This article discusses guidance patterns and programs, supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the confidence of people with disabilities at the Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Disabilities Persons at Yogyakarta. This research is done by descriptive qualitative approach. The object of research is mainly the coaching pattern used in increasing the confidence of dissabilities persons. The results of the study show that the pattern of coaching used in increasing the confidence of  disabilities persons is democratic family coaching patterns. Coaching is done by providing a service for social and medical rehabilitation,  and vocational guidance as well. It was also found that the confidence of persons with disabilities was still not optimal, due to the their background, limitation in mastering sign language, overindulgence of persons with disabilities,  and lack of experience to interact with the environment.

Abstract

This article would like to discuss institutional efforts and strategies in empowering community, to change  the culture of the Moslem community;  those that are unproductive and even destructive, into a productive agricultural economy, eliminating cultures that are rooted in community traditions, instill a culture of agriculture that new, and change the environment by integrating the agricultural / plantation environment combined with the tourism environment. The changes that were successfully realized then had broad implications, especially in improving the economic welfare of the community.Community empowerment is an effort to realize individuals and social changes. It is chosen as a solution to the social problems faced by communities; especially the problem of poverty. Poverty as a social problem should be solved, for empirically it opten carries other implications, such as criminality, violation of norms and even violations of laws. Agusen Village, located at the foot of the Leuser Gayo Lues mountains, was formerly known as a cannabis village, but now it has become a village of tourisme in Gayo Aceh. Tourism-based economic activities in this village are exist in the form of; providing tourism objects and facilities, local culinary, home stay rents as a tourist lodging facilities, and various other economic activities in the service of tourists who visit this village . The existence of this village (Agusen) which has become a tourist village, has implications to the economic development of rural communities. The economic activities of these rural communities are not only dependent on subbsistence agricultural economic activities, but they already have the ability to develop economic activities into the tourism sector, which has impacts on increasing economic prosperity. The collective capacity of the community in managing tourism economic activities is manifested through systematic efforts made by local governments (sub-districts and districts government); by providing a series of informal education activities designed to foster the communities’ awareness, develop their capacity and strengthen traditional institutions as institutional ties that foster the communities’ togetherness for simultantly developing. Agusen communities and village. Efforts to raise awareness about the existing potential are carried out with a series of extension activities. While technical capacity and capability in managing tourism-based economic activities is carried out by providing either managerial and technical training.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of hadith in religious lectures delivered through electronic media, by Majlis Tafsir al-Qur'an (MTA) Surakarta. That living hadith, either being able to contribute  developing the objects of hadith study and can be functional to succeeed  da'wah and community empowerment, as well. Hadist interpretation ideally  not just related to the texts, but also concerns with the socio-cultural context that surrounds it. Basically the aim of interpretation is to understand the skyrocketing messages of God it in the context and reality of human beings in the wordl life. Then, differences arise in terms of interpretation to the way to "treat" the hadith in a practical level in society. This research found the reality that  the nreligious (Islamic) instructors uses textual way in understanding hadists.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil dalam masyarakat yang peranannya sangat besar karena fungsinya sangat penting bagi kelangsungan hidup bermasyarakat. Bimbingan keluarga adalah bantuan yang diberikan kepada keluarga untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab anggota keluarga demi kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kefektifan penggunaan bimbingan keluarga Islam untuk meningkatkan komunikasi antara orang tua dengan anak. Jika berbicara mengenai konseling, maka kita akan teringat pada berbagai hal yang berhubungan dengan konsultasi. Konseling bisa mencakup semua aspek dalam kehidupan manusia. Pada era ini, kecenderungan masyarakat di Indonesia dikenal dengan masyarakat digital. Hal ini menyebabkan proses komunikasi pun sebagian besar dilakukan melalui media digital. Penulis juga menemukan fenomena adanya proses komunikasi konseling mengenai kajian Islam antar orang tua dan anak. Maka terciptalah komunikasi islami atau sering kita dengar sebagai komunikasi religi.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the contents of a book by Achmad Cholidjim concerning Sunan Kaligaja’s mystical and makrifat teachings so that da’wah-related messages could be found either explicitly or implicitly as presented in the book. This study used a non-interactive qualitative approach because it only examined the contents of the book. The main source of data in this study was a book by Achmad Chodjin entitled “Sunan Kalijaga: Mystical and Makrifat”. This study concluded that the contents of Sunan Kalijaga’s da’wah messages contained in Achmad Chodjim's book titled “Sunan Kalijaga: Mystical and Makrifat” contained syari’at, tarekat, and hakekat combined together. Sunan Kalijaga used his own method to spread Islam especially in Java. He used Javanese language and culture in da'wah. Thus, Javanese people would more easily understand his teachings, and they were not away from the sunnah of Allah and His prophets. Sunan Kalijaga also advised that every Muslim practice and apply the Islamic teachings as explained in the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

This article aims to offer a concept of overcoming the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic by empowering the communities economic through mosques movement as civil society approach. That merely government efforts can’t solve communities’ economic problems, so mosques civil society based movement could be one of the actual modern discourses to be "glimpsed". In order to provide opportunities to alternatives in helping goverment in improving the welfare of its people. Civil society in economic perspective is  community’s efforts aim to protect people against the uncertainty of the global economy and freeing people from the clutches of conglomeration done by creating an independent economic network. Therefore the bargaining position of civil society as a catalyst of dialogue, balancing interests, picking up signals, and in mobilizing the collective action of various state institutions, markets, and society has a strategic role.

Abstract

The research entitled Da'wah for Peace in Arabic Poetry aims to answer the question of the contribution of poetry in creating peace. Primary data is taken from the poetry anthology of Zuhair bin Abi Salma and al-A'sya Qais. The data are then analyzed using a semiotic approach with the theory of Michel Riffaterre. The results showed that heuristically the two poems can be understood as a language phenomenon that displays "meaning". This linguistic information can be interpreted as a sequential arrangement of information. Zuhair's poetry features praise for Haram bin Sinan and Harist bin Auf, the condition of Zuhair's faith, and the destructive effects of war. Meanwhile, al-A's poetry displays praise for Mukhalliq who is very compassionate. Retroactively, both poems convey a deeper "significance". Signifier and signified show indexical, iconic, and symbolic relationships. Zuhair bin Abi Salma as a poet has exemplified himself as an agent of peace who could resolve the 40-year dispute between the klan of Abs and Zubyan. This shows that Zuhari as a person who is qualified with his poetry is able to lead public opinion to do good things. Likewise al-A's with his poetry. He has also been able to resolve Mukhalliq's troubled problem. Al-A's poetry is able to change the conditions of conflict to  peace for the poor life of Mukalliq and his family.

Abstract

This article examines how far the organizational culture has significant influences on the performance of an organization. The results of research on LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Lampung explain that the organizational culture and employee performance that was built, developed and inherited by this institution were based on the TRUST (True, Responsibility, Upgradeble, Service Excelent, Trust) value and FAST (Fathanah, Amanah, Shiddiq, Tabliqh) values. The cultural values above have strong driving forces in improving organizational performance and has direct impacts on the economic performance of the organization in the long term.
