Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interest in learning and learning motivation on student learning outcomes in Fiqh subjects after the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI MIPA 1 MAN 2 Palembang. This study used quantitative research methods, with a population of 37 respondents, and made a research sample using convenience sampling techniques, the data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests, then analyzed by simple linear regression and multiple linear regression hypothesis tests. Based on the results of simple linear regression hypothesis analysis, student interest in learning obtained a value of R = 0.257. While the contribution contributed by student interest in learning (X1 ), to student learning outcomes (Y) = 0.066 = 6.6%, Furthermore, student learning motivation obtained a value of R = 0.149. While the contribution contributed by student learning motivation (X2 ), to student learning outcomes (Y) amounted to = 0.022 = 2.2%, this shows that student interest in learning and student learning motivation there is a positive and significant influence. The meaning of positive and significant is that between the variables of student interest in learning (X1) and student learning outcomes (Y) are unidirectional, the meaning of unidirectional here is that the more student interest in learning (X1) increases, the more student learning outcomes (Y) increase, on student learning outcomes in Fiqh subjects after the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI MIPA 1 MAN 2 Palembang. Then the results of the multiple linear regression hypothesis analysis obtained a value of R = 0.0.318. Contributions made by Both of these variables on the variable (Y) amounted to = 10.1%, it can be concluded that, there is a positive and significant influence together (simultaneously) between student learning interest (X1) and student learning motivation (X2 ) on student learning outcomes (Y) in Fiqh subjects in class XI MIPA 1 MAN 2 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe principals' coaching and supervision to improve SDIT Aikmel teachers' discipline. The research method is qualitative data collection by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is data condensation, data display, and conclusion. Checking the validity of the data is done by credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability test. The results of this study indicate that the coaching carried out by the principal shows very significant results. This is because the principal has succeeded in creating harmonious relationships in interpersonal relationships, analyzing the needs of teachers, developing strategies used, and assessing and revising activity programs. Furthermore, the principal's efforts are helping teachers to plan and develop learning programs. The principal's supervision is carried out with individual supervision techniques by conducting class visits, group discussions, and training.

Abstract

There is a lot of diversity in religion, culture, language, ethnicity, and customs in SMP Negeri 7 Mataram school. But this is not a trigger for the birth of conflict. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Mataram. This research aims to analyze the strategy of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in fostering students' multicultural education. The approach used is qualitative with the case study method. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis process uses Miles and Huberman's theory: data reduction, display, and verification. The results of the study state that the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students' multicultural education is done through promoting and strengthening attitudes, providing freedom, teaching knowledge or integration, providing equal treatment, and counseling multicultural reinforcement.

Abstract

The challenges encountered by instructors while delivering English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction to midwifery students enrolled at STIKES Abdurahman Palembang, Indonesia. The research methodology utilized in this investigation was qualitative in nature, employing a case study approach. The present investigation involved a purposive sampling technique to select two English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instructors who teach D3 Midwifery students at STIKES Abdurahman Palembang as participants. The data were collected via interviews and subsequently analyzed and presented descriptively utilizing thematic analysis. The study's results revealed that instructors encountered various obstacles while teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP). These challenges encompassed the following: a) Improving the proficiency of students in midwifery owing to inadequate knowledge, b) administering the classroom, and c) instructing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in accordance with the institution's syllabus.

Abstract

This research is a class action research; the subject is the students of class XI IPS 1 MAN 1 Bojonegoro, which amounted to 35 students. This research was conducted four times a meeting and as many as two cycles, each cycle one face-to-face meeting. The data collection methods used were tests, observation, and documentation. The test is used to measure students' critical thinking skills using tests. To process quantitative data using scoring techniques from students' individual scores, the average score of research subjects, and the percentage of classical completeness. The results showed that applying the Problem-Based Learning method made many contributions, including the ease of students in understanding dress code material because of its fun and relaxed delivery. Most students have been able to understand the adab of dressing, but some obstacles lie in student boredom related to learning methods so far; it turns out that during the learning process in class XI US1, the teacher still uses conventional methods, in the form of lectures and assignments so that it has an impact on the condition of students who become passive and bored because learning seems monotonous.

Abstract

This research explores and examines efforts to instill, internalize and implement noble moral values and character for students (santri) memorizing the Quran at Pondok Tahfid Yatim Dhuafa al-Rasyid Jambi. These values are taught and implemented in their actual daily lives. This research is qualitative, conducted in a narrative, descriptive and analytical manner, presenting the strenuous efforts of ustazd ustazah in internalizing and implementing the values of akhlaqul karimah in the daily lives of students who memorize the Qur'an at the Pondok Tahfid Yatim Dhuafa al-Rasyid Jambi. The results of this study indicate that the activities carried out by the students are all directed at implementing halal Karima behavior by the Qur'an that they read and study every time. Efforts to internalize values to implement values in the form of akhlakul karima behavior experience many challenges and difficulties from the students and the teachers (ustad, ustazah). In general, although not yet entirely successful, efforts to internalize the values of akhlaqul Karima at the conceptual level have gone well and can be seen at the level of knowledge and attitudes of the santri in real life when they are in the pesantren and when they return to their respective hometowns.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the evaluation of the Qur'an tahfizh sanad program at the Al-Ittifaqiah Qur'an Science Tahfizh Tilawah Institute, which will be studied using qualitative research methods with an evaluative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and observations. The data were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal or conclusions to determine the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study found that in terms of input evaluation, students' initial ability must be khatam AL-Qur'an without any Qur'an memorization selection test. Evaluation of the process of the method has met the standards, the teacher who teaches actively so that the implementation is effective. Then in terms of product evaluation, Of the 58 students who participated in the Qur'an tahfizh sanad program, only 3 passed. Compared to the total number of students, this number needs improvement, only approximately 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss value education through Islamic religious education at SMK Syahida. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include: observation, interview, and documentation. The research subjects were the principal, Islamic Religious Education Teacher, Student Council Advisor, Student Council Management, and Students. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and verifying. The results and discussion of this research show that value education implemented at SMK Syahida creates students who obey worship, are democratic, protect the environment, and are tolerant in MA, SMK, and SMA environments. This is evidenced by data verification with a data assessment rubric, that from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation show that value education at Syahida Vocational School is through Islamic religious education. This study concludes that value education is very appropriate through Islamic religious education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the use of Tik Tok social media on students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. To analyse the character of caring and responsibility and to analyse the impact of using Tik Tok social media on character in students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data obtained using interviews, observation and documentation were analysed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Tik Tok application at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang is quite large, where the users are students. The use of the Tik Tok application as a medium to get entertainment. The impact of using the Tik Tok application on its use on religious behavior is seen from several behaviours, namely: behaviour towards God, Parents, Self, and behaviour towards the community environment where there isnoso negative and significant effects that can change student behaviour. Students still take all actions in accordance with what is taught by parents and religion. Through the Faculty of Shari'ah and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, it is hoped that it will be able to become a forum for creativity and maintain the behaviour of adolescents from the negative impact of social media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the content of petatah-petitih of the Lahat Regency community as a medium of Islamic education in the perspective of Maqashid Sharia. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, which focuses on the description, analysis, and interpretation of group culture. In addition, a historical approach was also used to trace the development and meaning of petatah-petitih in the lives of local people. The informants in this study consisted of community leaders and religious leaders who understood and mastered the petatah-petitih that developed in Lahat Regency. The main instrument in this research was the researcher himself, supported by the implementation team. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and in-depth interviews to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the substance of petatah-petitih. The data obtained was then analysed using the content analysis method to identify the values contained in the petatah-petitih. The results of the study show that the petatah-petitih of the Besemah Malay community, with some exceptions, are in line with Islamic teachings. The messages contained in these petatah-petitih reflect a fusion between the local culture of the Besemah Malay, global values, and Islamic teachings, especially in the social aspects of society. This finding confirms that petatah-petitih has a strategic role as a medium of Islamic education that contains Maqashid Sharia values, such as the protection of religion (hifz ad-din), reason (hifz al-aql), soul (hifz an-nafs), offspring (hifz an-nasl), and property (hifz al-mal). Thus, petatah-petitih can be used as a relevant learning instrument in building community character and morality.
