Abstract

Woman representing the part of type of human being which up to now in various cleft of world tend to assumed as second class compared to a men. Background of that condition is sometimes supported also by interpretation of opinion and cultures of group socialize, so this condition is continuing without a lot of changing. This article want to study how view of religion and nation about woman from contemporary and historical dimension. Even do not exhaustively; this study is strived able to express fact and reality about domiciling woman from some point of view of religion and nation.

Abstract

The criminal action of woman/girl trade as one of the forms of violence against women is a kind of humanity crime. This criminal action has been listed in the Article 297 of the Criminal Code, but this crime keeps on occurring and becomes a more complex form or objective of women trade. The cases of woman/girl trade in Palembang City  reported to the Police Department of the Provincial Government of South Sumatera from 2003 to January 2004 amount to 8 (eight) cases, six of which have been sentenced by Pengadilan Negeri (The Court of First Instance) IA Class of Palembang. One case did not have a sufficient proof and one case was not clear. The form or the objective of woman/girl trade inPalembangCity is to make the victims the prostitutes including domestic and international woman/girl trade. This writing describes more comprehensively how woman/girl trade inPalembang is.

Abstract

The difference of individual or group of people pursuant of "behavior", entangling numbers of problems which deal with woman value in society and woman value as an individual. Though al-Qu’ran differentiate pursuant to pious charitable, al-Qur'an do not build peripheral assess for certain behavior. This matter makes every social system determine different value behavior. Every ordinary social system conduct and every society have made difference between scope of woman clan and men folk. Its problem is depending on tradition that man used to be looked more valuable than woman. How unfair that viewpoint division.  Unregistered married looked as one of subordination style woman in togetherness value point of view. This article will study farther about unregistered married from side of subordinating woman.

Abstract

Historically and factually, the status of women always goes through changes. In a society following a patriarchal paradigm, the position of women is less beneficial because they are in a suborniate position below men. Consequently, the position of women is always considered to be lower and they are subject to men. In addition, this assumption seems to get legitiation from theological doctrines, including al Qur'an and al Hadits which become the main sources of Islamic teachings. This article traces out the historical-theological root of gender inequality perspective of Moslem femeinist.

Abstract

The participation of women at this time rather than just demanding equal rights but also expresses its function has the meaning for the development of society Indonesia. conflict of dual role is the simultaneous occurrence of two or more role allotment, which is the fulfillment of a role that will give rise to difficulties in fulfilling the role of the other. Work-family conflict has two components, namely family affairs interfere with work, work-family conflict can arise due to the Affairs of the jobs came family. Conflicts arising as a result of household chores and all the consequences disrupt the performance of the functions of the employment of mothers in the workplace. An adaptive response, linked by characteristics and individual psychology or process which is a consecuetion of any external action, situation or event that puts the demands of special psychological and or physical person. The results of the work can be accomplished by a person or group of people in an organization in accordance with the authority and responsibility of their respective efforts in order to achieve the objectives of the Organization in question legally, does not violate the law and in accordance with morals or ethics. Double role conflict can have an impact on work stress, this shows the higher conflict dual role female employees, then the greater the also stress their work. The impact of the conflict on performance of dual role female employees indicating higher role conflict the women, then the lower the performance of them. Work stress is also impacting on the performance of female employees have, i.e. show the higher the stress of work, then the lower the pulakinerja female employees

Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyze the impact education and skill of labor market discrimination on the income of medium-sized industry sectors in Palembang. The research was conducted in the city of Palembang with male and female labor force aged 15-64 who worked inmedium-sized industries.Proportional stratified random sampling was employed in selecting 380 labor forces as the sample.The method for collecting the data was survey which is an investigation of gathering factual information from the phenomena, characteristics, behaviors, or opinions of a group of people. This research investigated labor market discrimination in medium-sized industry sectors in Palembang.The research was conducted at sixteen sub-districts in the city of Palembang using questionnaire and observation. Medium-sized industries in Palembangwere purposively selected as the research site of this study. Research variablesincluded factors causing discrimination such as education, working skillsand working experience. The variables that were affected by discrimination include wage and employment. The results revealed that working experience and labor skills have a siginificant influence on labor discrimination in medium-sized industry sector. Meanwhile, education did not significantly influence labor discrimination.It can be concluded that medium-size industries did not require a formal higher education degree. It required competence and skills including technical skills to increase productivity in industry. The variables of education and skills altogether affected labor discrimination significantly as high as 65,1 percent.Discriminations occurred in wage and employment.This could strengthen the relationship among education and working skills. As a result, if labor wage increased, discrimination was likely to increase too. If employment increased, discrimination would also increase.Discrimination had a significant influence on income. This can be seen from the fact that the higher discrimination index, the lower income of the labor force would be.

The study in this paper on the existence of the boys in her contribution to the family in the culture of South Sumatra with a focus of indigenous Histories. The assumption that appears in the custom that the Histories that more boys believed to have eternal soul more to appease his parents in the world and in the hereafter. So it is very important the value of older men in the life of a family in the tribe of the indigenous Histories so that married couples are generally more expecting the birth of boys than girls.

Abstract

Talking about economic actors, it can be said that everyone will do economic activities. Nothing limitations on men and women, all doing economic activity. But not in all economic sectors women and men experience equality, both in opportunity and outcome of development. There is always and there is a gap in it. Just as there is in an economic household there will always be a gender gap. But the end of economic activity undertaken by economic households is to achieve prosperity or falah. Based on this it will be seen that there is a relationship or relevance between gender and also economic contribution in terms of reaching falah for household economic.
