Abstract

Menghasilkan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan berwawasan lingkungan lahan basah merupakan visi dari Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin. Mewujudkan visi tersebut, pembelajaran yang dilakukan mengacu pada pembangunan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap lingkungan lahan basah. Kimia Lingkungan merupakan mata kuliah yang bersentuhan langsung dengan lingkungan lahan basah. Sehingga diperlukan pengembangan modul pembelajaran Kimia Lingkungan yang berdasarkan lingkungan lahan basah. Modul dikembangkan menggunakan desain penelitian R D dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kimia Lingkungan Lahan Basah. Data yang dihasilkan berupa data validitas, keterbacaan, dan efektivitas modul serta respon siswa. Kelayakan modul pembelajaran PBL berbasis lingkungan lahan basah berada pada kategori “baik” dengan skor rata-rata 3,25. Uji keterbacaan perorangan dan kelompok kecil memiliki skor rata-rata masing–masing 3,0 dan berada pada kategori “baik”. Efektivitas modul terlihat dari hasil belajar mahasiswa pada uji perorangan dan uji kelompok kecil dengan nilai masing-masing 93,8 dengan N-gain 0,9 dan 92,6 dengan N-gain 0,9. Mahasiswa memberikan respon “baik” dengan persentase 78,33% untuk respon perorangan dan 71,67% untuk uji kelompok kecil. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran problem-based learning (PBL) berbasis lingkungan lahan basah dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Kimia Lingkungan Lahan Basah. Problem-based learning module based on wetland to prepare teachers candidate with wetland environmental insight AbstractGraduating teachers and educational staff with wetland environmental insight is the vision of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin. Realizing this vision, the learning carried out refers to building students' understanding of the wetland environment. Environmental Chemistry is a course that directly contacts with the wetland environment. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a module on Environmental Chemistry based on wetland environments. The module was developed using R D research design with 4-D development model. The research subjects were students in Environmental Chemistry course. The data generated in the form of validity, readability and effectiveness of a module. The validity of the problem-based learning module based on wetland is in "good" category with average score 3,25. Individual and small group readability tests have an average score, respectively 3.0 and in "good" category. The effectiveness of the module can be seen from student learning achievement in individual and small group tests, respectively 93,8 with N-gain 0,9 and 92,6 with N-gain 0,9. The students give a "good" response with 78,33% for individual and 71,67% for small group responses. This results show that problem-based learning (PBL) module based on wetland environment is declared valid and effective to use in Environmental Chemistry learning.

Abstract

Assessment of practicum plays an essential role in gaining knowledge and skill. Because practical work is an essential component of science courses, there were need to develop new instruments to examine practicum skill. To gain the purpose, Research and Development method used, Borg and Gall's model was adopted in this research. Observation sheets were used to obtain data. The qualitative data analysis technique was used to make coding. The data were described using descriptive statistics. It was used to determine the ability of students to practice in general, purposive sampling technique used for data collection. Products of practical’s skills assessment contain four aspects, fifteen indicators, and four criteria. The product was validated by two expert judges, shortcomings and grammatical mistakes were revised. In the separation of trimyristin, mostly student practicum skill was "good" while few students’ skills were "very good" and few other students earned “sufficient” none of them got “poor” and “very poor”. In each aspect of practicum skills “very good” in drawing, experimental and observations skills were “good” while reporting and interpretive skills were “sufficient”. For further dissemination, the reliability test can be done by using inter-rater reliability test to make the product more efficient and applicable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan web-Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) IPA terintegrasi potensi lokal pabrik gula. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D dengan tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Penilaian kelayakan web-LKPD IPA dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk, penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru IPA, serta respon peserta didik untuk mengetahui keterbacaan produk. Hasil penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi, media, guru IPA memperoleh skor sebesar 62, 38, dan 56 terhadap skor maksimal masing-masing sebesar 48, 35, dan 45 sehingga tergolong pada kategori sangat baik. Uji keterbacaan memperoleh persentase sebesar 93% respon positif dari peserta didik. Hasil skor gain ternormalisasi mendapat skor sebesar 0.36 pada kelas eksperimen dan tergolong pada kategori sedang dan terdapat peningkatan dalam pembelajaran. Efektivitas pembelajaran dilakukan dengan uji independent sample t test dengan nilai sig. sebesar 0.000 ( 0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan web-LKPD IPA terintegrasi potensi lokal efektif (sig. 0.00 0.05) meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Jombang. Integrated worksheet web of nature history students on the local potentials of “pabrik gula” for increasing the students' curiosity AbstractThis study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the science web student worksheet integrated local potency “pabrik gula”. This research is a development research using the 4D development model with the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Assessment of the feasibility of science web student worksheet is carried out by material expert and media expert, the assessment by science teachers, and the responses of students to know the readability of the product. The results of the feasibility assessment by material, media expert, and science teachers scored 62, 38, and 56 for a maximum score of 48, 35, and 45 which were categorized as very good. Readability test obtained a percentage of 93% positive response from students. The normalized gain score results in a score of 0.36 in the experimental class and belongs to the medium category and there is an increase in learning. The effectiveness of learning is done by testing the independent sample t test with the sig .value amounting to 0,00 (more than 0.05). The results showed that learning with science web student worksheet integrated with local potency effective to enhance curiosity of Jombang Middle School 1 students.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemenarikan dan kelayakan dari modul berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada pembelajaran Biologi dalam materi sistem ekskresi pada manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah pengembangan, meliputi 1) potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi produk, 6) uji coba produk, 7) revisi produk. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan nontes berupa angket, wawancara, observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket ahli materi, angket ahli desain media dan angket ahli bahasa dan angket respon siswa. Modul yang sudah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli desain media, dan 2 ahli bahasa untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk. Hasil penilaian kelayakan modul berbasis keterampilan proses sains oleh ahli materi sebesar 92,5% dalam kategori sangat layak, penilaian oleh ahli desain sebesar 78,5% dalam kategori sangat layak, penilaian oleh ahli bahasa sebesar 90,5% dalam kategori sangat layak. Sedangkan hasil penilaian respon peserta didik memperoleh 74% dalam kategori menarik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan modul berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada pembelajaran Biologi layak dan menarik digunakan dalam materi sistem ekskresi pada manusia. Module development based on science process skills as teaching materials in biological learning AbstractThis study aims to determine the attractiveness and feasibility of modules based on science process skills in Biology learning in excretory system material in humans. This research is research and development (R D) which consists of seven steps of development, including 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) product revision, 6) trial products, 7) product revisions. The data collection techniques use non-test in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations. The instruments are questionnaires for material experts, questionnaires for media design experts and questionnaires for linguists and student response questionnaires. The modules that have been developed are validated by 2 material experts, 2 media design experts, and 2 linguists to ascertain the feasibility of the product. The result of the feasibility assessment module based on science process skills by material experts is 92.5% in the very feasible category, the assessment by design experts is 78.5% in the very feasible category, the assessment by linguists is 90.5% in the very feasible category. While the results of the assessment of students’ responses are gained 74% in the interesting category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the module based on science process skills in Biology learning is feasible and interesting to be used in excretion system material in humans.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran fisika di MAN pilot project DIY dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 berdasarkan latar belakang akademik guru ditinjau dari (1) pemahaman terhadap Kurikulum 2013, (2) perencanaan, (3) pelaksanaan, (4) penilaian, (5) upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pada implementasi Kurikulum 2013 dan (6) hambatan yang dihadapi pada implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru fisika kelas X di MAN pilot project DIY yang menerapkan Kurikulum 2013. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mengenai Kurikulum 2013 berada pada kategori sangat baik. Perencanaan berada pada kategori baik, pelaksanaan berada pada kategori baik, penilaian berada pada kategori baik. Upaya guru fisika di MAN pilot project di DIY yaitu mencari informasi mengenai rasionalisasi kurikulum 2013, pendekatan saintifik, administrasi pembelajaran dan penilaian otentik baik secara mandiri maupun dari kegiatan pelatihan. Hambatan yang dihadapi guru yaitu kurangnya ketersediaan buku/panduan mengenai pendekatan saintifik, guru kesulitan dalam membuat instrumen penilaian portofolio, dan guru belum maksimal dalam memfungsikan instrumen penilaian sikap.Kata Kunci: keterlaksanaan, Kurikulum 2013, latar belakang akademik guru The Feasibility of the Physic Learning Process in Implementing Curriculum 2013 Based on the Teachers’ Academic Background  AbstractThis study aims to determine the feasibility of the physic learning process in implementing Curriculum 2013 based on the teachers’ academic background at the pilot project MAN in DIY  in terms of (1) understanding of the Curriculum 2013, (2) planning stage, (3) implementation stage, (4) assessment stage, (5) the effort of the phisycs teachers in pilot project MAN to integrat the knowledge about Curriculum 2013 in phisycs learning process; (6) the obstacles found by the phisycs teachers in the implementation of Curriculum 2013. This research was survey research with descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. The research population was phisycs teachers of class X of pilot project MAN in DIY which implemented Curriculum 2013. The technique of data collection was questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the teachers’ knowledge of Curriculum 2013 is very good. The planning is in the quite good category, the implementation is in the good category, the assessment is in the good category. the efforts of physics teachers at pilot project MAN are looking for information about: the rationalization of the Curriculum 2013, the scientific approach, the administration of learning and authentic assessment either independently or by training program; (4) the obstacles found by the teachers are: the lack of availability of the book/guide on Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, the teachers difficulty in making portfolio assessment instruments, and the teachers have not been able to maximal functioning of attitude assessment instruments.Keywords: the feasibility, Curriculum 2013, teachers’ academic background

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan kegiatan ecotourism dari aspek isi, penyajian, kebahasaan dan kegrafisan berdasarkan hasil validasi, (2) aspek biologis perkebunan buah naga Sabila Farm sebagai sarana kegiatan belajar bagi peserta didik, (3) kualitas pembelajaran dengan kegiatan ecotourism untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains dan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik, (4) kelayakan dan kesesuaian perangkat pembelajaran dengan kegiatan ecotourism yang dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) model Borg Gall dengan melaksanakan: studi pendahuluan, desain produk, penyusunan draft penelitian, validasi instrumen, uji coba dan revisi produk, dan penyempurnaan produk akhir. Subjek coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pakem kelas X MIA 2 dan X MIA 3. Data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran dengan kegiatan ecotourism yang dikembangkan, berdasarkan hasil validasi secara keseluruhan memiliki kualitas baik, (2) perkebunan buah naga Sabila Farm mempunyai potensi biologis untuk menunjang pembelajaran biologi kelas X SMA pada materi keanekaragaman hayati, (3) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan kegiatan ecotourism dapat mengukur keterampilan proses sains dan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik. Penerapan produk yang dikembangkan mampu mengukur keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dengan kategori baik. Penerapan produk yang dikembangkan juga mampu menanamkan kepedulian lingkungan dengan kategori baik, (4) perangkat pembelajaran dengan kegiatan ecotourism dinyatakan layak dan sesuai untuk proses pembelajaran biologi. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran biologi, ecotourism, keterampilan proses sains, sikap peduli lingkunganBiological learning kits for ecotourism activity for sharping science process skills and attitude of environment awarenessAbstractThis study aimed to determine: (1) the quality of ecotourism learning kits from aspects of content, presentation, linguistic, and design based on the results of the validation, (2) biological aspects at dragon fruit Sabila Farm as learning activity for students, (3) quality of learning with ecotourism to measure science process skills and environment awareness, (4) the feasibility and suitability of ecotourism  to the learning process. This research was development research developed by Borg Gall. The steps of the development included: preliminary study, designing product, constructing research draft, validating the instruments, small-scale field testing and revision, main field testing and revision, and making final product. The subjects of the research were the student of SMA 1 Pakem, class X MIA 2 and X MIA 3. The data obtained in this study were the qualitative and quantitative data. The results of this study indicate: (1) The product of the ecotourism learning kits developed, based on validation results as whole has a good quality. (2)  Dragon fruit Sabila Farm has a biological potential to support the learning biology in Xth grade students for biodiversity theme, (3) Biological learning ecotourism kits can measure science process skills and environment awareness. Implementation of product can measure science process skills with “good” category. Implementation of product can measure environment awareness with “good” category, (4) Learning kits developed with ecotourism activity is considered feasible and suitable for learning biology.Keywords: biology learning kit, ecotourism, science process skills, environment awareness

Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the contribution of school culture and job motivation as an aggregate to the performance of senior high school/madrasah aliyahs/vocational high school Chemistry teachers in Nunukan and Sebatik District, the Province of North Borneo. The study was an ex-post facto research. The sample in this study was selected using census technique or saturated sampling technique and there were 28 senior high school/madrasah aliyahs/vocational high school Chemistry teachers in Sebatik and Nunukan District. The data were gathered using inventory instrument, interview, and documentation which validity and reliability had been tested. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The results of the study show that school culture and job motivation altogether has positive and significant contribution to the performance of senior high school/madrasah aliyahs/vocational high school Chemistry teachers in Sebatik and Nunukan District and the contribution size is 0.639 or 63.90%. This statement implies that most of senior high school/madrasah aliyahs/vocational high school Chemistry teachers in Nunukan and Sebatik District have been influenced by good school culture and job motivation simultaneously

Abstract

This research was aimed to produce a product in the form of android-based learning media on the material of the human respiratory system for the Science Class students in XI Grade of High School. This research was performed in SMA Negeri 2 Bantul. The biology learning through the utilization of this android-based learning media has a characteristic which utilizes technology in learning, therefore, it could be used by anyone, anywhere, and anytime. The method used in this development research was based on the adaptation of ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The initial product has been reviewed by the material and media experts. Then, the result of revision was assessed based on materials, operationalization, and the media display conducted by reviewers (biology teacher) and peer reviewers. Then, it tested on high school students to discover the feasibility of android-based learning media. The research results have indicated that android-based learning media on the material of human respiratory system which has been developed was assessed as feasible to be implemented in the learning reviewed from the aspect of material assessment which included in the criteria of “very good”, the aspect of media assessment showed “very good” criteria as well and the test result toward the students included in “very good” category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh; (2) perbedaan pengaruh; (3) strategi pembelajaran yang lebih berpengaruh antara publikasi tugas melalui STAD dan tanpa publikasi tugas melalui belajar kelompok terhadap kerja sama, kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan counter balance design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII. Sampel sejumlah dua kelas ditentukan dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa observasi kerja sama, tes kreativitas, dan tes prestasi belajar IPA. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedua strategi pembelajaran digunakan uji one sample t-tes, uji MANOVA untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh, dan uji t univariat untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran yang lebih berpengaruh terhadap masing-masing variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) publikasi tugas melalui STAD berpengaruh terhadap kerja sama, kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar IPA;(2) ada perbedaan pengaruh antara publikasi tugas melalui STAD dibandingkan tanpa publikasi tugas melalui belajar kelompok terhadap kerja sama, kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar IPA; (3) publikasi tugas melalui STAD lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan tanpa publikasi tugas melalui belajar kelompok terhadap kerja sama, kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar IPA.Kata Kunci: publikasi tugas, STAD, kerja sama, kreativitas, prestasi belajar IPA The Influence of Task Publication Through STAD on Cooperation, Creativity and Science Learning Achievement AbstractThis research was aimed to find out: (1) the influence; (2) the influence difference; (3) the learning strategies that are more influential between task publication through STAD and without task publication through a group learning on cooperation, creativity, and science learning achievement. This was quasi experiment using counter balance design. This research population was all grade VIII students. Two classes were established as the sample using purposive sampling technique. The instruments for data collection were observation guidelines of cooperation, creativity tests, and a science learning achievement test. One sample t-test was used to determine the influence of both learning strategies, MANOVA test was performed to determine the influence difference between these two learning strategies, and univariate t-test to determine the learning strategies that were more influential on their respective dependent variables.
