Abstract

The more widespread application of knowledge management embodies the recognition of the importance of intangible assets in the form knowledge. Knowledge which is managed and developed will achieve competence and expertise, which ultimately could improve the competitiveness and performance. Several empirical studies support the opinion of experts, who had certainly found out that knowledge management could improve corporate innovation. Although it does not become the only factor, empirically, knowledge management could improve corporate performances. The implementation of knowledge management is not only suitable for commercial companies and large companies; knowledge management can also be applied to non-profit organizations (NPOs) and for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Abstract

Each of the organizations concerned towards the best performance that produced by a series of systems that apply in these organizations. Human resource management is one of the key factors to get the best performance, because in addition to addressing the issue of expertise, skills and human resource management are also obliged to establish employee behavior conducive to getting the best performance. This research was conducted in Banten JNE to test four variables i.e. Justice distributif compensation, transformational leadership style as exogenous, job satisfaction as an intervening variable and affective commitment as an endogenous variable. Technique of data analysis in this study uses the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The respondents in this study as many as 130 employees comprising the whole permanent employees, contract and freelance. The results showed a positive effect compensation distributif justice significantly to job satisfaction, affective commitment and leadership style of influential positive significantly to job satisfaction however does not affect the commitment of the affective. Job satisfaction does not  influential significantly to affective commitment.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the level of service quality of Syariah Bank which is compare between Conventional Bank services quality, used 6 dimensions CARTER model (Othman & Owen, 2001). The subject of this research is a people who have an account  in Syariah Bank and also have account in Conventional Bank. This research takes a place in Yogyakarta. The result of this research indicated that service quality based on 6 dimension CARTER model in Syariah Bank more higher really than Conventional Bank  with  range 0,3275 from 5 Likert scale (6,55%). If based on 5 dimension SERVQUAL model (without Compliance dimension) there is no difference between Syariah Bank and Conventional Bank in service quality. Compliance dimension in Syariah Bank more higher really than Conventional Bank with range 2,24 from 5 Likert scale (44,8 %). In the other way, Assurance, Reliability, Tangibles, Empathy, and Responsiveness dimensions there are no differences  real.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of job stress an perceived organizational support on turnover intention with organizational commitment  being intervening variable.The study was conducted at the finance company in Makassar, the population in this study is marketing employees who work in finance companies in Makassar. Respondents who give an answer to this study as many 172 employees. Data is processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which assisted by application program of Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) version 21.0. The analysis showed five accepted hypothesis, there is a negative and significant influence between komitmen organisasi  to turnover intention, there is a negative and significant influence between job stress and komitmen organisasi , there is a positive and significant influence between persepsi dukungan organisasito komitmen organisasi , komitmen organisasi  proved as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Compensation, motivation and job satisfaction is directly related to the employees performance. Compensation, motivation and job satisfaction felt by employees can degrade performance or improve employee performance. Compensation in accordance with the expectations of employees and the employees were satisfied with their jobs will be motivated to improve performance so that will have an impact on increasing the companys overall performance. This research was conducted at Waroeng Spesial Sambal (SS) Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance. The number of samples is set as many as 154 respondents using random sampling method. Results of the analysis showed that the variables of job satisfaction and work motivation positive effect on employee performance, while variable compensation is not successful in influencing the performance of employees.

Abstract

          The author examines the influence of leadership, distributive judgement of compensation, need for achievement, need for affiliation, and need for power, on the performance of employees of RSUD Kalianda. The performance of employee will affect the performance of companies that also affect the company achieve its goals, vision and mission. Leves of employee performance is inseparable from the role of employee in managing employees associated factors of leadership, namely how the level of influence and effectiveness of leadership undertaken, the distributive judgement of compensation factor, namely the extent to which the role and influence of the distributive judgement of compensation system applied in improving the performance of its employees, and motivate reflection of need for achievement, need for affiliation, and power needs that exist within themselves and therefore contributes to the achievement of its performance. Population in this study around 291 peoples, with 63 peoples as sample. Independent variables: leadership, distributive judgement of compensation, need for achievement, need for affiliation, need for power. Dependent variables: the performance of employee who judged from employee appraisal. This study uses questionnaire instruments data that have proven validity and reliability, and interview. The statistical techniques using multiple linear regression analysis with the partial test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results that the variables of need for affiliation has a positive significant impact on the performance of employee. While the variables of leadership, distributive judgement of compensation, need for achievement, and need for power are not having a significant effect on the performance of employee. Independent variables in this study are efficient enough to explain its influence on the dependent variable, is attested by the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) from the second regression analysis is 0.272 had the significant level 0.000.

Abstract

Organizational commitment, work discipline and job satisfaction to be part of the factors that influence performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment and discipline on performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable partially and simultaneously. This study also aimed to determine the effect of organizational commitment and discipline on performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable directly and indirectly. This study was conducted to 150 respondents employees of PT. Arief Nirwana Utama. The research method used is quantitative method uses statistical and descriptive analysis.The results of this study are (1) there is a significant effect of organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction. (2) there is a significant impact on job satisfaction labor discipline employees. (3) there is a significant effect of organizational commitment and discipline of work simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. (4) there is a significant effect of organizational commitment on performance. (5) there is a significant influence on the performance of employees work discipline. (6) significant influence of organizational commitment and discipline of work simultaneously on employee performance. (6) significant influence of organizational commitment and discipline of work simultaneously on employee performance. (7) significant influence of job satisfaction on employee performance. (8) there is a significant indirect effect of organizational commitment on performance through employee satisfaction. (9) there is a significant indirect effect on the performance of work discipline through employee satisfaction.

Abstract

This study is entitled: Influence Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness to Use E-Learning with TAM Model in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. This research was aimed at indetifying the behavior of the e-learning with Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach toward the students of the SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The proposed hypothesis in this research were (a) Perceived Ease of Use has a positive and significant effect to the use of e-learning, (b) Perceived Usefulness has a positive and significant effect to the use of e-learning. The samples in this research were 50 respondents in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The data gained through the primary data by distributing a questionnaire to be answered. The data analysis was conducted by using SPSS program. The result of the research showed that (a) Perceived Ease of Use has a positive and significant effect to the use of e-learning and (b) Perceived Usefulness has a positive and significant effect to the use of e-learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of job involvement toward job performance through organizational commitment in BAPPEDA (Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah) of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The subject in this study was all employees at BAPPEDA DIY. In this research, the sample of 102 respondents was selected using census technique. Analysis tool used in this research is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling).Based on the analysis, the results were the job involvement is positif and significant to the job performance and organizational commitment does not infuence significantly to the job performance. Moreover,organizational commitment is not mediated the relationship between job involvement and job performance.

Abstract

A valuation model is a mechanism that converts a set of forecast a series of company and economic variables into a forecast of market value for the company’s stock. This purpose of this paper to evaluate intrinsic value of stock are used dividend discount model (DDM) and so to compare at market stock price. BUMN firms are used at this research object because covering all industrial situation. The DDM was operationalised to test on nine BUMN firms and based on the result it is found that eight BUMN firms are undervalued and one BUMN firm is overvalued.
