Abstract

Every manufacturing company must have experiencing building a layout. Fred.E Meyers has stated that only death and taxes are certain, there exist a third certainty-a plant layout will change, thus many methods to generate layout are established and each has its own purposes and benefits. This research focused on the design of manufacturing facilities supported by in-depth analysis of Assembly process design with a high stresses on the Systematical Layout Planning ( SLP) and Flow Analysis method to facilitate an outcome of layout accordingly to the system needs. Abstract

The development of manufacturing sector with digital platforms is the latest technological advances in industry 4.0 era.  The use of e-commerce as business digital platform in marketing activities is very potential to be developed for improving SMEs performance.  To build a digital platform that fits with the needs of SMEs and users, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) was conducted to obtain informations in designing a customer-based digital platform.  After the customer's needs were obtained, product specifications, concept development and selection, product design testing, industrial design analysis, and prototyping also had been conducted.  The analysis showed three highest ranking for digital platform design were an application with specific information product, attractive design of the interface, and adequate security.  Furthermore, the function criterias were arranged to formulate alternatives, i.e. how to log in, button shape, color, font size, and database properties.  While the screening and assessment criteria were based on ease of transaction, availability of information, and ease of use.

Abstract

In this paper we consider a single buyer-single manufacturer- single supplier supply chain problem where there are multiple deliveries for one buyer’s order and the manufacturer produces in a multiple integer of deliveries quantity. We also consider a lot size of raw material procurement which can be split from production batch. From numerical example we found that a value of material conversion factor and delivery frequency influences the total inventory cost . A high value of material conversion factor would make the buyer’s total inventory cost increase and the manufacturer’s total inventory costdecrease. High frequency of delivery would make the buyer’s total inventory cost decrease and the manufacture’s total inventory cost increase.

Abstract

TIX ID is application in Indonesia that provides new experiences in purchasing cinema tickets. The success of a company can be seen from service quality in fulfilling the satisfaction of customers. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to designing the proposed improvement TIX ID online cinema ticket purchase service quality. This study was conducted in three stages, namely testing the hypotheses of the relationship between variables using PLS-SEM, measuring service quality using the servqual method, and designing the proposed improvement. The result of this study is e-service quality has a significant effect on e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. In addition, the dimensions of e-service quality are dominant effect on the low TIX ID service quality is compensation, with a gap of 27%. Recommendations for improvement are providing customer access to be able to contact customers service directly and SOP of the cooperation TIX ID and DANA.

Abstract

Telah dibuat sistem deteksi daging ayam bangkai menggunakan sensor warna dan jaringan syaraf tiruan. Tujuan pembuatan sistem ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat umum dalam mendeteksi daging ayam broiler bangkai. Sistem ini dibuat menggunakan sensor warna. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pembuatan perangkat keras, pembuatan perangkat lunak, dan pengujian sistem. Hasilnya, sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik terutama untuk mendeteksi sampel daging bagian dada, tepong, dan paha.

Abstract

This study is concerned with maintenance on a heavy equipment excavator 390D series HE4019, one of the main tools used to support the process of nickel production. Major constraint in using this tool is an insufficiently planned maintenance such that the tool affected operational and production process of nickel. Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method is used to identify the risks of failure of critical components on the performance of the unit. Based on risk priority number (RPN), three critical components are found as leading causes of unit downtime. These are stick cylinder (RPN 288), fuel filter (RPN 280) and oil pan (RPN 240), respectively. Mean time between failure (MTBF) scores of stick cylinder, fuel filter and oil pan are 1,288.91 hours, 334.04 hours and 1,455.77 hours, respectively. Each of making rod of the cylinder covered, periodically flushing the fuel tank and taking on a warning sign on the couplers and coating the gasket with an additional layer during installation, in the meantime, are proposed as preventive maintenance for each the three critical components.

Abstract

Abu Production adalah salah satu industri kerajinan kayu di kota Yogyakarta. Dalam proses produksinya tidak lepas dari proses pengamplasan. Posisi kerja yang tidak nyaman menyebabkan proses pengerjaan memakan waktu cukup lama. Hal tersebut berdampak kurangnya produktivitas mesin amplas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk  pendesainan dan pembuatan mesin amplas. Data anthropometri digunakan untuk acuan penentuan ukuran dimensi mesin amplas yang dirancang. Aspek ergonomi digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam perancangan fasilitas dan lingkungan kerja yang efektif dan lebih nyaman sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas. Mesin amplas hasil rancangan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dari output mesin awal sebesar 292 part / jam dan setelah menggunakan mesin hasil rancangan menjadi 589 part / jam atau meningkat sebesar 101,7%.

Abstract

Terdapat perbedaan mental wirausaha mahasiswa yang telah mendapatkan materi kewirausahaan dan belum mendapatkan materi kewirausahaan. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket, observasi langsung, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi pustaka. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah validitas dan reliabilitas angket, kemudian uji mann whitney untuk mengetahui perbedaan secara signifikan mental berwirausaha mahasiswa, membandingkan antara mahasiswa yang belum pernah mendapatkan materi kewirausahaan dan telah mendapatkan materi kewirausahaan. Obyek penelitian di laksanakan di Jurusan Teknik Industri UMS. Hasilnya terdapat perbedaan secara siqnifikan antara mahasiswa yang belum mendapatkan materi kuliah kewirausahaan dan setelah mendapatkan materi kuliah kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Investment gallery is a three parties collaboration, between IDX, securities company, and university that aims to increase the number of investors, especially from the civitas academica. However, in the past year, more than 50% Investment galleries failed to meet the growing investor target. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign an investment gallery that is more oriented to the wants and needs of investors and potential investors. through investment galleries and their intention to reinvest. Factors are generated through literature studies and interviews to customers and management of IDX and results in 12 factors. These factors were measured by 32 indicators and tested using an online and offline questionnaire of 193 respondents from 7 best investment galleries in Indonesia. The data obtained is processed by using factor analysis so as to form 5 factors: perceived image, customer experience, benefit, facilities, and response time. These results are then processed to see the relationship of each factor to the intention to re-invest. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, only 4 factors have significant effect, which are perceived image, benefit, facilities, and customer experience. The results of the study were then used to develop an investment gallery marketing strategy.

Abstract

Persediaan dalam suatu unit usaha dapat dikategorikan sebagai modal kerja yang berbentuk barang. Keberadaannya di satu sisi dianggap sebagai pemborosan, tetapi di sisi lain juga dianggap sebagai asset yang sangat diperlukan untuk menjamin kelancaran pemenuhan permintaan. Persediaan yang terlalu banyak akan mengakibatkan biaya persediaan meningkat karena bahan yang rusak, terutama karena bahan telah melewati batas waktu kadaluwarsa. Untuk meminimalkan total biaya persediaaan, perusahaan dapat juga mengusahakan penurunan biaya pembelian yang bisa diperoleh dengan mempertimbangkan potongan harga pembelian dari pemasok bila memesan dalam jumlah yang besar. Dengan demikian perlu dicari persediaan yang memberikan biaya yang paling minimal dalam pengadaan persediaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan model perencanaan persediaan bahan baku dengan kendala keterbatasan waktu kadaluwarsa bahan dan terdapatnya faktor diskon, khususnya all unit discount quantity, yang diberlakukan oleh pemasok. Sedangkan model dasar yang digunakan yaitu model persediaan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Validasi model dilakukan dengan meniadakan unsur kadaluwarsa dan faktor unit diskon pada model. Validasi tersebut menyatakan bahwa model yang dikembangkan valid. Pada bagian akhir disajikan algoritma sederhana pencarian solusi model dan contoh numeriknya.
