Abstract

Intense competition from synthetic fibers has affected the production of natural fibers all over the world. Of the total global fiber production of 50,88 million tones, according to annual report available for the year 2007 natural fiber contributed about 57%. This share came down further 52% in 2008 and since 2009 increases significantly. Empowerment of social economic program must be able to conduct public economy which based at country town. These programs must be able to achieve seven goals, such as net export income and rising public income; founding industrial structure based on the strength of small-medium enterprises; founding the foundation of economic transition to industrial age by developing forces of agro-industrial and agribusiness; achieving global competitive advantage by increasing productivity; innovation; and effective (appropriate technology) dissemination; increasing quality(global standards); creating high economic activity and keep sustainable quality environment. Natural fiber (pineapple leaf) industry is one of Indonesia is industrial sector which was identified having the ability to achieve these goals. Several reasons are pointed out, such as that Indonesia has greatest agro-fiber planted areas the for example pineapple, agave(sisal),ramie, kenaf and henemp, so that for the future Indonesia will get 10% natural fiber production share in the world. So that the National Natural Fiber Industry has strategic position and high prospect will be developed at the future. This paper present discuss and describe to support The Indonesian Natural Fiber Industry Development Program, such as mapping Natural Fiber Development areas based on the potency of natural fiber (agro-fiber) production and planted area; analysis of industrial scales, structure of industrial development and feasibility study. Finally, this paper describe state industry of natural fiber development strategy and stated strategy recommendation to stakeholders. Abstract

This paper aims to demonstrate a small- scale studies that explore the importance of retail Islamic atmosphere and contributed substantial in the success of the retail business. Especially looking for models or other forms of modern retail management based on syariah or Islamic rule. This paper also explores the relevance of the Islamic atmosphere of retail success. In this paper, we present case studies on UII Syariah Mini Market-Syar'e Mart that can describe the successes and try to draw conclusions by qualitative descriptive analysis of this case study. The findings show that the Islamic model of retail becomes a new alternative in managing the retail business. The concept of retail syariah has the opportunity to grow and succeed. That atmosphere was exciting retail syariah/ important than conventional retail atmosphere. Islamic retail atmosphere be one of the new tool in the retail industry. Islamic studies show that retail in the retail industry has contributed a new alternative in managing, developing and improving the retail industry. Abstract

Jangilus fish ( Istiophorus orientalis) is one of pelagic commodities which is commonly consumed by society and used for traditional foods. The objective of this research was to determine the effect of immersion solution on tsukuda-ni from Jangilus fish (Istiophorus orientalis). The steps of the research were determine the best type of immersion solution (carbonated drink, rice vinegar, soy sauce, or sweet sake) and the best concentrations of solution (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% dan 60% [v/v]). The experimental design used in this experiment was complete random design with Tukey test. The study showed that carbonated drink was the best type of immersion solution. The statistical analysis results showed that concentrations of solutions immersion gave significant effect on protein, lipid content, cutting strength, and water activity. The study showed that 40% carbonated drink was the best concentrations. Tsukuda-ni with 40% of the carbonated drink had 30.95 ± 1.20 kg/cm2 power cut, 0.73 water activity (aw), 61.02% water, 4,48% ash, 28,89 % protein, 0,34% fat, and 4,49% carbohidrat content. Abstract

The challenge for University ini Indonesia is to foster entrepreneurial spirit by design (under planning), rather than by chance (by coincidence). One of the steps taken to overcome these problems is to foster the student entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore research on entrepreneurial intentions are very important because if students already have entrepreneurial intentions of students will then automatically open a business. One of them examines the factors that influence entrepreneurial intentions. Thus it is known that factors that influence the intention bewirausaha owned by someone other than internal factors, such as talent or innate nature (heredity), as well as a personality shaped by factors in the vicinity (external factors). This is evidenced also the results of research conducted at this time that the personality and the environment have an influence on entrepreneurial intentions.Keyword : jiwa kewirausahaan by design, kepribadian, lingkungan, intensi berwirausaha.

Abstract

Creativity and innovation is a topic that is relevant not only for the entrepreneurs who are just starting, but also for business activities in general. The concept of entrepreneurial marketing is a scientific discipline that studies about the value, capabilities and a person's behavior in dealing with various issues related to business opportunities in an effort to get done. The purpose of this study are: first, to determine and analyze creativity and innovation have a significant effect simultaneously on entrepreneurial marketing. Second, to identify and analyze creativity and innovation have a significant effect partially towards entrepreneurial marketing. Third, to identify and analyze between creativity and innovation are the dominant influence on entrepreneurial marketing. The research location is determined at small business centers Ceramic Dinoyo Malang. The number of small businesses as respondents: 34 business units. Data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression using the F test and T test. Based on the results of data analysis using multiple linear regression, the results of the study are as follows: First, creativity and innovation have a significant effect simultaneously on entrepreneurial marketing. Second, creativity and innovation have a significant effect partially towards entrepreneurial marketing. Third, creativity is the dominant influence on entrepreneurial marketing. Abstract

Setiap tahun jumlah pengangguran semakin meningkat, 20 % setiap tahunnya. Riset ini diharapkan akan ditemukan faktor determinan dan kontruk pendidikan berbasis kewirausahaan, yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk menyusun disain dan model pendidikan kewirausahaan berbasis Entrepreneurial Learning Model (ELM). Metode yang digunakan dalam riset ini penelitian deskriptif dan penelitian eksplanatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perguruan Tinggi yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan kewirausahaan atau pendidikan bisnis (Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang, Universitas Negeri Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto, dan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga). Unit analisis dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik, pendidik serta sistem perkuliahan kewirausahaan. Data akan dianalisis dengan alat analisis Struktural Equation Modelling (SEM). Dari hasil penelitian ini pendidik dan kurikulum atau silabus membentuk pendidikan kewirausahaan. Penerapan Entrepreneurial Learning Model telah berjalan dengan baik. Pendidikan kewirausahaan akan membentuk kinerja peserta kewirausahaan.Kata kunci : Pendidikan kewirausahaan, Entrepreneurial Learning Model, kinerja kewirausahaan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the content of heavy metals Hg, Cd, and Pb of small and large clams over a period of two months (May and July). In this study, depuration system was applied in an effort to reduce the content of heavy metals. The study was done with inventorisation of the sample area, analysis of the characteristics of clams, operation of depuration system, and analysis of content of Hg, Cd, and Pb. Clam in Situ Gede waters showed heavy metal content of mercury and cadmium that were not detected in meat during the period of two months (May and July) both in large and small clams. Content of lead in May was higher than in July. The average lead in waters Situ Gede during the two periods amounted to 1.34 ppm in small clams and 1.44 ppm in large clams. Depuration system could reduce Pb contents in small clams 0.0861 ppm after 10 days and 0.1506 ppm after 20 days and in large clam 0.0513 ppm after 10 days and 0,0835 ppm after 20 days.

Abstract

Bojonegoro is one of regency in East Java which attempt to develop the economic condition. An effort is being actively developed is agroindustry based raw materials locally. One of the many commodities produced is cassava. This study aims to map the potential of agroindustry processed cassava and formulate development strategies of processed cassava agroindustry. This study uses descriptive analytical method by using primary data in the form of the potential of agroindustry data and data of leading agroindustry strategic factors. Method of Comparison Exponential (MCE) and Borda method was used to rank the agroindustry potention and SWOT analysis was used to formulate the development strategies of processed cassava agroindustry. The results showed that based on the analysis of MCE, processed cassava agroindustry spread in 15 sub district, they are: Balen, Bubulan, Dander, Gondang, Kadewan, Kalitidu, Malo, Margomulyo, Ngasem, Purwosari, Sekar, Sumberrejo, Tambakrejo, Temayang and Trucuk. Based on Borda analysis showed that processed cassava agroindustry is the fourth leading agroindustry in Bojonegoro. Processed cassava agro-ndustry development strategies include: Improved volume and diversification of processed cassava products, increase product quality based on product quality, packaging innovations marketable, post-harvest training and product safety, maintain continuity of raw materials through cooperation with farmers' groups, introduction of machine dryer according to the needs of craftsmen. Abstract

Product development is necessary for companies to be able to survive in an increasingly turbulent business environment. This study aims to (1) to formulate an alternative strategy product development kurma salak based on product life cycle analysis and SWOT (2) choose an alternative strategy that prioritized for implementation. In this research which become sample is Kelompok Tani Ambudi Makmur II in district Bangkalan that produce food and beverages processed from Salak especially kurma salak that becomes Bangkalan flagship product. The method usedis the SWOT matrix, Product Life Cycle (PLC) and QSPM matrix. Technique analyse used by data is descriptive analysis technique. Conclusion from research show there are ten alternative strategies which is then sorted by total value of attractive scores. Three alternative strategies with the greatest Total Attractive Score (TAS) is expanding its marketing area, to develop production sites in other areas, increasing the production of kurma salak. Abstract

SMEs of Asri Rotan has economic potential, but also has disadvantages such as limited technology and business management weaknesses. This study aims to analyze the advantages potential, formulating business development strategies for SMEs Asri Rotan and followed up with partisipatory action as realization of the development strategies. This study uses a participatory action approach and using the primary database include revenue, costs, internal factors (strengths-weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities-threats). The analysis tools are profit analysis and SWOT Analysis. Results showed that SMEs Asri Rattan is profitable and feasible to developed. Alternative development strategies for SMEs Asri Rattan include: Maintaining the quality of products to enhance product competitiveness, establish partnerships with agents to maintain continuity of supply and demand, increase the capacity of production technology, improving business management, optimum use of government support, increasing the skill and creativity of human resources for increased competitive advantage. Partisipative action as realization of development strategies include: training of simple bookkeeping, preparing financial report, preparing business plans, increasing production technology capacity.Keywords: SME of Asri Rattan, profit analysis, development strategies, action research
