Abstract

PT. Sekar Mulia Abadi is a company engaged in the fruit import distributor which has a subsidiary in Pekan Baru. The problems that occur in PT. Sekar Mulia Abadi were relating to the work discipline and communication. Employees were often absent and arriving late and communication between supervisors and subordinates were less effective that employee's performance declined, characterized by decreased sales target so that the company's goal was not achieved. Based on the brief description, the problem formulated in this study as the followings; how is the effect of labor discipline and communication on employes performance at PT. Sekar Mulia Abadi Medan.The theory used in this research are theories of human resource management related to work discipline, communication and employee performance.The method used in this research is quantitative, this kind of research is quantitative descriptive, and the nature of this research is descriptive explanatory. Data collection was performed by interviews, questionnaires, and documentation study. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Sekar Mulia Abadi field totaling 102 respondents, of which 30 respondents were used to test the validity and the remaining, 72 respondents were used as samples.Results of the study showed that the hypothesis r 0248 on a unit o work discipline and 0,461 were units of communication which partially has a significant effect on employee performance and simultaneously there is a significant effect of the two variables by 26.2% on employee performance at PT. Sekar Mulia Abadi Medan and the remaining 73.8% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.The study concluded that the simultaneous and partial discipline of work and communication have a significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Sekar Mulia Abadi field.

Attitude fond of saving needs to be instilled in children from an early age to avoid the behavior of shoppers. The author tried to instill awareness fond of saving onchildren of Sentono village with variety of interesting wayss named Sentono SavingsProgram. Children are expected to remain consistent saving although the programfinished running.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) is a development effort that is intended forchildren from birth up to the age of six years are accomplished by providing educationalstimuli to help the growth and developmentof children physically and mentally in orderto have the readiness to enter further education. The concept of the benefits of PAUD isnone other empowered so that kids are getting ready when entering primary education.Unfortunately, with the benefit of it, PAUD often underestimated and many not so careabout. As happens in PAUD Cerdas Dusun Bandung dan Dusun Songbanyu 1. That PAUDuntil now are still being taught by someone who has years of being a teacher. There is nonew teachers in that PAUD. Therefore, author does initiate regeneration for PAUDrejuvenation. Teachers were younger will inject moral and greater enthusiasm in thefuture.

Abstract

Ultra violet rays useful for human beings is such as to synthesize Vitamin D andalso serves to kill bacteria. But besides the benefits ultra violet rays can harm humans ifexposed tohuman skin for too long. Some of the negative effects caused by exposure toultraviolet light too long is redness of the skin, a skin burn, until it can lead to skincancer. The skin has a natural protection system that is a layer of melanin. However, it isnot enough to protect the skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. One way to protect skin isto use sunblock. Dusun KarangBulu dan KarangPandan located in the village KenaibanJuwiring District of Klaten district. Klaten Regency climatic conditions including atropical climate with a wet season and a dry seasonalternatedhroughout the year, theaverage air temperature 28-30 degrees.Dusun Karang Bulu dan Karang Pandan , it isnecessary to protect the skin from sun exposure, moreover, most of the residentsworkas farmers where most of the time spent outdoors. Therefore, people need to knowhow to make a sunblock that is affordable to the public. Residents are very excitedabout the information that is shared, but some residents were unable to attend becausethere busyness.

Abstract

Vegetables as a horticultural product is a food source that is always consumed by humans daily, including in urban areas. Assorted Vegetables can be eaten raw or processed and it takes as a decoration on the food. Needs vegetables including lettuce, green pakcoy and other vegetables from day to day continues to increase. Therefore, it needs supply of vegetables from the area around the town of Jember including Serut Village, District Panti Sub-District, Jember District. Serut village has the potential of non-agricultural land could be developed into a producer of vegetables. Empowerment yard area for the cultivation of vegetables will be achieved if supported by an efficient hydroponic cultivation techniques and the empowerment of human resources are adequate. Empowerment of rural communities is expected to increase the quantity and quality of vegetable production of lettuce, cabbage, and other vegetables as well as to support sustainable vegetable production. Through this hydroponic cultivation of fresh vegetables will be produced continuously, scheduled and able to add value to the revenue for the community.

Abstract

Counterfeit money is an imitation currency that is manufactured without legal approval of government. The manufacture, usage, and distribution of counterfeit moneyis very dangerous for a country economy. Either in the scale of market that have directcontact with society or in a large scale such as inflation. To prevent those, socializationshould be done to each elements of society, including villager. Village that face manyobstacles in accessing information will easily become the target of counterfeit moneycirculation. Therefore, an education about intoduction of counterfeit money and how todistinguish it with real money was proclaimed in a community service activity at DukuhJati, Kulonprogo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Results of that education is people atDukuh Jati is be more understanding about counterfeit money and can recognise it. Itscirculation is expected to decline continuously.

Abstract

AbstractThe business unit developed called IbKIK Talent Management Consultancy Services (IbKIK JKTM) with main activities as a provider of research and development services in business and economics. Short-term goal is to meet and support the needs of the community, partners and businesses of of consultancy and training services in business and economics field. While the long-term goal IbKIK JKTM is the creation of a system of good governance, among others: a data base of research results and superior technology, a data base of client needs, index of client satisfaction, guidelines for unit activities of IbKIK, the working mechanism of IbKIK, creation of favorable cooperation between the UWP Surabaya with industry, local government and the community, an increasing number of new entrepreneurs of lecturers and students. The method applied is to maintain the existing condition of raw materials or clients and maintaining good relationships with customers or clients, especially clients remain. The production had a very adequate instrument assets, production process starting from understanding the client's needs until the implementation of the consultation as well as feedback and supervision to maintain good relationships with clients. The management is still not good so it need improvement, the marketing is done by segmenting and targeting strategy, pricing, promotion and maintaining good relationships with clients (developing relationship). While human resources are adequate to the needs of training and development, the existing facilities dedicated space business unit, but the ingredients are still to be developed. From the financial side, the financial return in 2016 are projected to reach Rp. 500.000.000, -. Accountability income and expenditure of money is managed independently by the management. The next steps to operate the business are improving organizational management especially in financial management, improving marketing strategy, developing products, increasing human resource competencies, maintaining existing clients and increasing public training.

Abstract

Needs of cleaning tools such as soap is getting increase in line with the increase ofenvironmental pollution annually that come from household waste and loundry.The useof less environmentally soap that can polluting the environment is getting worse.Therefore, the manufacture of soap program is a program aimed at training to the PKK(Dasawisma) member. This program is carried out so that the mother-housewife canmake their own cream soap so as to save on household expenses. In addition, by makingthis soap theirself, the housewife can be moreaware of any matter contained in a dab ofsoap so as to avoid skin irritation or pollution on the environment.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the production process of Shrimp River Magz in an effort to strengthen the existence of skateboarder community in Yogyakarta. The lack of media reviewing skateboarding in Indonesia has become one of the causes of skateboarding in Indonesia. The method of project creation is carried out through five stages: creative planning, technical planning and equipment, planning of supporting resources, budget planning, and implementation stage. The author also conducted an interview on the skateboarder community to fill the article rubric in the magazine. Based on the results of magazine production, the authors hope that the skateboarder community in Yogyakarta more exposed. The author can also deepen the ability to do design and editing in a magazine production.
