Abstract

Kebutuhan kedelai semakin meningkat seiring meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan kesadaran gizi, tetapi produksi nasional belum mencukupi. Program ekstensifikasi pertanian dapat dilakukan di lahan sub-optimal. Salah satunya adalah lahan rawa lebak. Budidaya jenuh air merupakan penanaman dengan memberikan irigasi terus-menerus dari awal tanam sampai panen. Terdapat masalah budidaya di lahan rawa lebak ini, diantaranya masih rendahnya pH, Al dan Fe tinggi. Salah satu strategi yang dapat ditempuh adalah pemberian amelioran. Amelioran yang mengandung kalsium mempunyai potensi terhadap perbaikan sifat kimia tanah. Penelitian dilaksanakan Maret sampai Juni 2019, di Rumah Plastik Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Ratu Samban Arga Makmur Bengkulu Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama varietas kedelai terdiri atas : V1 : varietas Detam 1. V2 : varietas Detam 3, V3 : varietas Detam 4, V4 : varietas Anjasmoro. Faktor kedua sumber amelioran terdiri atas : A0 : tanpa amelioran (kontrol), A1 : amelioran batu karang, A2 : amelioran cangkang telur, A3 : amelioran cangkang lohan, A4 : amelioran tulang sapi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang amelioran untuk perbaikan budidaya kedelai di rawa lebak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Anjasmoro menghasilkan komponen vegetatif (tinggi, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang) dan komponen generatif (bobot 100 butir dan bobot biji per tanaman) tertinggi. Varietas Detam 3 atau Detam 4 menghasilkan bobot biji per tanaman lebih baik. Amelioran tulang sapi menghasilkan komponen vegetatif dan generatif yang lebih tinggi. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan amelioran. Kata kunci : jenuh air, varietas, rawa lebak, amelioran.

Abstract

Saat ini, Indonesia merupakan produsen dan juga sekaligus konsumen penting komoditas kopi. Provinsi Bengkulu merupakan provinsi ke 4 di Sumatera dengan jumlah produksi kopi terbanyak, dengan luas lahan 75.922 Ha dengan total produksi 56.556 ton. Dari jumlah tersebut ada yang menjadi berbagai olahan kopi bubuk, adapun salah satu olahan kopi bubuk yang cukup terkenal di Kota Bengkulu adalah kopi bubuk 1001. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: menganalisis konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 di Kota Bengkulu dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 di Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 di Kota Bengkulu adalah analisis deskriptif. Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 dengan dianalisis dengan alat analisis regresi linear berganda. sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini adalah sebanyak 78 responden, dilakukan dengan metode accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 di Kota Bengkulu masih kategori rendah, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata konsumsi 260 gr/bln. Hasil uji secara simultan besarnya pengaruh 7 variabel X terhadap konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan. Sedangkan untuk uji parsial faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi kopi bubuk 1001 di Kota Bengkulu adalah selera (X1), harga kopi bubuk 1001 (X2), jumlah tanggungan keluarga (X6) dan jenis kelamin (X7). Abstract

Meatballs are a type of processed food made from chopped fresh meat, fillers, binders and spices. Besides beef, meatballs can also be made from eel meat because eel meat has a high enough protein. Tempe can be used as a substitute for eel meat because the price of tempe is more affordable and the protein content is also quite high. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the composition of eel and tempe on the protein and organoleptic content of eel meatballs. The results of the analysis showed that the more use of tempe composition, the meatball protein content increased by 19.27%. The results of organoleptic analysis of the color, taste, aroma and texture of meatballs with the treatment of eel and tempe composition showed significant differences. The more the use of tempe composition the assessment of color, taste, flavour and texture is decrease. The results of the average color oranoleptic are between 3,75 (likes) to 4,25 (likes), the average organoleptic taste is between 3,65 (likes) to 4,05 (likes), the average organoleptic flavour is between 3,35 (rather likes) to 4,30 (likes) and organoleptic texture averages between 3,65 (likes) to 4,20 (likes). Abstract

This research was conducted in April to August 2019 at the Sepakat II Livestock Group, Mojorejo Village, Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong District. The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems and solutions to increase milk production in dairy cows in the Sepakat II farmer group in Mojorejo Village, Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency. Data collected in the form of technical, economic and management data for dairy cattle maintenance. Technical and economic data, i.e. types, sources, nutrition, and feed costs. Data about the type and source of feed were obtained by means of individual interviews and FGDs. Nutrient content was obtained through laboratory analysis at the University of Bengkulu Animal Husbandry Laboratory. Feed management data is in the form of problem analysis and problem solving solutions collected through individual interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively and using problem tree analysis and AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process). The results obtained that the priority of technological innovation in the context of increasing milk production in dairy cows in the Sepakat II Farmers Group are the utilization of location-specific alternative concentrates (63.7%), superior grass planting (25.8%) and extension technology for dairy farming (10, 5%). Abstract

Long bean is an important crop for vegetable farmers on rainfed ricefield in Pondok Kelapa District, Bengkulu Tengah Regency because its cultivated in various cropping patterns. This study aims to analyze the contribution of long bean farming revenue in various vegetable cropping patterns. The study was conducted from May to August 2019 through a census of 50 vegetable farmers in the villages of Srikuncoro and Pekik Nyaring, Pondok Kelapa District. Data collected in the form of production costs and sale of the yields. The contribution of long bean farming is analyzed descriptively by calculating the revenue percentage in each cropping pattern. The results showed that there were six vegetable planting patterns practiced by farmers in Pondok Kelapa District, namely: (1) cucumber - pariah - long bean, (2) cucumber - gambas - long bean, (3) cucumber - long bean - long bean, (4) long bean - pariah - long bean, (5) long bean - gambas - long bean, and (6) long bean - long bean – pulled kale – pulled kale. Farmers always plant long bean in all of the cropping patterns. The biggest farming benefit is obtained from cropping pattern 1 which is Rp. 120,244,000/hectare with an R/C ratio of 1.95, while the smallest profit on a cropping pattern of 6 with an R/C ratio of 1.55. The planting pattern of cucumbers - long beans - long beans nominally gives the largest farm receipts from all cropping patterns namely Rp. 120,000,000/hectare, meanwhile, the long-bean-long-bean-spinach-pull-out cropping pattern is a cropping pattern which contributes the largest revenue from long-bean farming to 64.00%. Abstract

This research is one form of utilization of food plants, namely Moringa (Moringa oleifera). M. oleifera can grow well in Bengkulu Province. The leaves of M. oleifera contain protein compounds that behave like lectins. This compound can be used as an antimicrobial material. The stages in this study include the extraction of M. oleifera leaf protein using salting in and salting out methods. This study aims to determine the effect of the immersion time and the amount of solvent in the homogenation stage extraction process on the percentage of protein extract. The results showed that the immersion time had a significant effect compared to the amount of solvent in the homogenation stage of Moringa oleifera leaf protein extraction. The longer the time needed, the greater the percentage of M. oleifera leaf protein extract. Abstract

This study aims to determine the income and marketing strategies of melon farmers in Seluma Regency. The study was conducted in July 2019. The population in this study amounted to 20 melon farmers. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods used in this study are quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis is used to calculate the level of income of melon cultivation with the calculation of farm income analysis. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis is used to determine the development strategy of melon cultivation using SWOT analysis. From this research, the average income of melon farmers in Seluma District was Rp 9,835,112,500 with an income of Rp 13,527,800,000 and expenditure costs of Rp 3,692,687,500. The strategy used in improving the marketing of melons is to sell melons with various processed variants of melons, marketing melons can be done with a partnership system, creating special transportation facilities in the process of melon distribution and increasing sales by adding product innovation Keywords : Melon, Revenue, Marketing strategy

Abstract

ABSTRACT Catfish is one type of freshwater fish that is quite popular with the people of Indonesia. Catfish prices are relatively cheap, easily cultivated, and have high nutritional content. Efforts to improve the yield of catfish farming have been done in many different ways, one of which is probiotics. The purpose of giving probiotics is to improve water quality. The study was conducted from April to July 2019, in the Experimental Pool of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ratu Samban, Bengkulu Utara, Bengkulu Province. The study used a two-factor randomized block design. The first factor is the type of probiotics (J), consisting of 2 levels, namely: J1: types of sea fish, J2: types of fresh fish. The second factor is the dose of probiotics (P), consisting of 4 levels, namely: P1: dose of 1 ml of probiotics per 10 liters of water, P2: dose of 1.5 ml of probiotics per 10 liters of water, P3: dose of 2 ml of probiotics per 10 liters water, P4: dose of 2.5 ml of probiotics per 10 liters of water. The above treatment was repeated three times so that there were 24 experimental units. This study aims to obtain information about the exploration of local probiotics with the right dosage for nursery improvement and enlargement of sangkuriang catfish. The results showed that the utilization of probiotic types / sources originating from both fresh fish and sea fish turned out to have the same effect, but there was potential that the types / sources of probiotic fish produced higher absolute weight and absolute length. Probiotic doses have the same potential between low and high doses, but there is a tendency that 1.5 ml / 10 l water probiotic doses produce higher absolute length and absolute weight. Abstract

This study aims to examine the best forecasting model for the export price of Indonesian coffee. The data used in this study are monthly data on coffee prices from January 2012 to September 2019. Three price forecasting models used are moving average, single exponential smoothing and trend analysis are applied to determine the best model based on the lowest MAPE, MAD, and MSE values. The results showed the best model for forecasting the export price of coffee is the moving average (MA1) model because it has the smallest MAPE, MAD and MSE values ​​compared to other models.
