Abstract

This study aims to find out how the frontliner services for customers of PT Bank BNI Syariah KC Panorama Bengkulu. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Descriptive qualitative research aims to explain the phenomena as deeply as possible that occur in the field and present data systematically, factually, and accurately regarding the facts or phenomena that occur in the field. Data collection is done by means of initial observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the quality of service of PTBank BNI Syariah KC Panorama Bengkulu has implemented five dimensions of service quality according to Parasuarman et al, namely Tangible, Reliability,Responsivity, Assurance and Emphaty, but there are some things that have not gone according to customer wishes such as the inability of waiting room at PT Bank BNI Syariah KC Panorama Bengkulu, where the waiting room is too small, sometimes busy customers have to wait outside, then the lack of seats waiting sometimes customers waiting to stand up remember the condition of small and narrow room and for EDC tools that have to swipe cards repeatedly because the EDC engine is error.

Abstract

Implementation of spatial policy Bengkulu happened complex problems such as conflicts occur land, water shortages and land conversion. This research uses descriptive qualitative research approach. As the results show that: 1. Product policy Local Regulation number 14 in 2012 on Bengkulu Spatial Planning is good 2. Implementation of spatial policy Bengkulu is well enough but there are still some discrepancies that occur in the implementation. In the application of the Sustainable Urban Development concept is appropriate but the environmental issues become crucial issues encountered in the implementation of spatial policy in realizing about Sustainable Urban Development 3. The factors enabling in the implementation of spatial policy in Bengkulu are policy on Bengkulu spatial planning, socialization, liveliness implementor. While the factors inhibiting in this research are public awareness and land conversion.

Abstract

This research aims to seekthe performance of women leaders in the Regional House of Representativesof Bengkulu City in communicating politics and representing themselves as leaders in a "masculine" world that is considered cruel to women. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected by using in-depth interview and observation to three women leaders.Based on the results, it could be concluded that the female parliamentary leaders conducting political communication feminine style leadership such as engaging and directing parliamentarians they led in carrying out their duties. However, when it’s needed, they remain firm, but not arrogant.

Abstract

The problem of this study is how the effectiveness of the use of the Lembak language in the delivery of subject matter by teachers to Class VII Students of Tanjung Tanjung State Junior High School Terdana Bengkulu Tengah. The purpose of this study was to find out in detail the effectiveness of the use of Lembak language in the delivery of subject matter by teachers to Grade VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Terdana Bengkulu Tengah, this study used a descriptive method using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students in grade VII Tanjung 1 State Middle School There were 117 people in Central Bengkulu. In this study the sample was taken as much as 25% of the population so that the sample amounted to 29 people. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaire, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques were carried out with the help of interpretation based on percentage calculation (proportion interpretation) and using the help of the Likert Scale. The results of the study show an explanation of the subject matter delivered by the teacher through the Lembak language to students in grade VII of Tanjung 1 Middle School SMP Menghana Bengkulu Tengah can be said to be effective. This is based on the results of the average score of 59.59 if consulted with the Likert scale used, the score is in the interval 51-62 in the effective category. The use of Lembak language by the teacher according to respondents can influence the achievement of learning objectives, the subject matter can be understood by students, the material is mastered by students, students have better learning outcomes and students are motivated to learn.

Abstract

This research analyze in more detail the interpersonal communication between doctor and patient through social media at Medika Lestari Clinic. The role of social media is expected to be a central tool in order to improve health in the society. Interpersonal communication is key in order to provide health information for both patients and doctors or other medical personnel. Interpersonal communication that will be discussed is about the positive aspects that would have a significant impact for the progress of health services to the community. This research will take place at the Medika Lestari Clinic in Rawasari area. From this study it was concluded that interpersonal communication through social media Whatsapp between doctors and patients is very considering openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and equality.

Abstract

his study aims to find the influence of variable X (Management Information System) on variable Y improvement (Service Quality) study at PT. Jasaraharja Putera Bengkulu Branch. This study used a quantitative method with data analysis techniques of Product Moment Correlation analysis. Data collection was done using library techniques, observation, questionnaires (questionnaires), and documentation. The number of samples in this study was 55 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of correlation between independent variables (X) the influence of management information systems on variables (Y) improving service quality is in the low category because it is located between 0.20 - 0.399. This proves that the variable X (management information system) with variable Y (service quality) can be declared influential but included in the low category. Management information system (X) has a significant effect on service quality (Y). This can be seen from the results of the t-test calculation of 2,783. While the results of the calculation of determination r2 = 0.128 or equal to 12.8% which contains the understanding that the influence of independent variables (management information systems) on the dependent variable increase (service quality) is 12.8% and can be declared weak, while the remaining 87.2% is caused by other factors not examined by the researcher.

Abstract

Instagram social media is a unique medium because through this media not only communicating by sharing photos, but also penetrating into videos that everyone can get various videos that inform various kinds of actifities or routines that are carried out. The use of instagram also occurs among the community in the city of Bengkulu, precisely Sanggar Arastra community, thus encouraging members to play Instagram. The purpose of this study is to find out the motives of social media users to upload instagram story. This study uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach and this study uses the motive theory by Papacharissi and Rubin (2017), which consist of several motives, utility motives and motives seeking information. This research was conducted with data collection techniques through interview, observation and documentation study. The subjects in this study were five members of Sanggar Arastra owning an Android or iOS cellphone with an application and an Instagram account, they actively play Instagram and like ti upload photos, videoa and texts on the Instagram Story. The results of thie study indicate that the motives of members of Sanggar Arastra in uploading photos, videos nd texts in Instagram story are convenience motives, entertainment motives, passing time motives to follow current trends. Of all the motives, there is the most dominant motive, namely Convenience Motives because what they upload on Instagram stories is a form of expressing themselves, a place to express feelings in the form of photos, videoa and texts. Their uploads form a good image in order to get the desired recognition.

Abstract

his study aims to find out the quality of health services in Kembang Seri Public Health Center atTalang Empat Sub-District, Central Bengkulu Regency. This research is a qualitative research presented descriptively. The informants in this study amounted to 6 people consisting of key informants and principal informants. The data were collected by interviews, observation and documentation method. The technique data analysis used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results show that the quality of Health Services in the Kembang Seri of Talang Empat Sub-District of Central Bengkulu Regency is seen from the theory of service quality 1)The Reliability has done a good service but nurses are still not friendly in patient. 2) Responsiveness of nurses are ready and sufficiently skilled in treating patients but there are also nurses who are still arrogant and play their own cellphones while patients need service.3) Assurance of nurses are less friendly and polite to patients and nurses still distinguish services from rich patients and poor patients in terms of service but nurses are active in communicating with patients. Empathy of nurse is easily contacted in every room that keeps and communicates with the patient ready to be called by the patient’s family if needed. However, in terms of medicines and intravenous needles there is still a lack of availability. 5. Tangibles (Physical Facilities) seen from the building of Kembang Seri Public Health Center is good and medical equipment is sufficient.

Abstract

The attitude of active smokers in smoking bans on cigarette advertisements can communicate their products as commodities that are connected with glamor, energy and lifestyle. The cigarette industry leads children to become beginner smokers through advertisements, promotions that are present in television media. Cigarette companies compete to make advertisements as creative as possible with the aim of increasing sales. Based on the background above the formulation of the research problem is how the attitudes of active smokers in responding to the warning of hazards on cigarette advertisements on television. Based on the research problem above, the aim of the study is to find out the attitudes of active smokers in responding to the warning of hazards on cigarette advertisements on television. The methodology in this study uses qualitative research with data collection technique of observation, interviews and documentation.The results of the study stated that the informants were afraid with the contents of message on public service advertisements (ILM) about the dangers of smoking. This can be seen from the interview quote from the informant's answer. The informant saw ILM about the dangers of smoking being broadcast on television. In this study, almost all of the informants said that first the informants began to try to smoke because there was a feeling of insecurity if they did not smoke while gathering with friends in the neighborhood. There were also informants who smoked because of great curiosity, so the intention was to try to smoke cigarettes. Even the informant who said that one of the factors that made the informant curious and wanted to try cigarettes was because the informant saw the parents of informants who smoked at home. Active smokers try to smoke because there are influences from family factors and the environment where they live. Based on this this research, it is expected that the environment can help active smokers no longer depend on cigarettes.

Abstract

In order to achieve a common goal in a society, sometimes the exchange of messages can be biased, therefore it is important how the communication patterns in giving a support to the elopement, so that problems do not arise in the future. Therefore, the writer wants to see and know the communication patterns that take place in the granting of sanctions to the elopement in BatuEjung village. This type of research is qualitative research, data sources in this study were taken from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques were carried out by interview observation and documentation. Analysis techniques by data reduction, data presentation, then drawing conclusions / verification. The results of studies of various types of communication patterns, ranging from primary communication patterns, secondary communication patterns, linear communication patterns and circular communication patterns, the most suitable and approaching in sanctioning elopement actors are primary communication patterns because they include which elements in the pattern This is divided into two symbols, verbal symbols and nonverbal symbols. In verbal or language symbols, it can be seen how dialogue patterns that occur between indigenous people and the host convey the problem directly, in a nonverbal pattern the process of communicating thoughts by the communicator to the communicant using a symbol, known as "tepunjung" both yellow arbor and white arbor, and payment of a fine in cash.
