Abstract

The Separate Management System implemented in PT XYZ's testing laboratory required a lot of resources. This research aims to integrate the requirements of quality management systems (ISO 9001 and 17025), occupational safety and health (ISO 45001 and PP50/2012), and the environment (ISO 14001). A risk assessment was carried out and found 10 risks, consisting of 9 operational risks and 1 financial risk. Six risks require further mitigation with the TOPSIS method. PT XYZ can implement a partially Integrated Management System (SMT) strategy with 45 procedures, 20 fully integrated procedures, and 25 partially integrated procedures. The effectiveness evaluation showed a decrease in certification costs by 34.55%, a decrease in third-party audit findings by 71.43%, and a minimization of the amount of documented information by 33.48%. The results of this study are expected to help medium to large businesses that implement various separate management systems to switch to management system integration

Abstract

The use of Cash Management System (CMS) in government work units is a form of modernisation in the government payment system to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accountability of government financial management. CMS provides time and cost-efficient benefits and minimizes security risks for financial management but the use of CMS by government work units is not optimal. This study aims to analyze the determinants that influence intention to use CMS, with the variables tested being perceived usefulness, attitude, subjective norms, and trust with organizational culture as moderator variables. The study used SEM PLS to analyze the data by involving 267 samples who were financial management officials at the Ministry of PUPR. The results prove that intention to use CMS is determined by trust, attitude and subjective norms. Perceived usefulness is not proven to affect intention to use CMS and organizational culture is not proven to moderate CMS acceptance. The limitation of the study is that the measurement of organizational culture is limited to the values adopted by the Ministry of PUPR, while organizational culture has broad aspects. Future research can measure organizational culture from different aspects

Abstract

This research aims to describe effective educational strategies for digital-based MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to implement a green economy in the border areas. The methodology used is a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data sources were collected through interviews employing 8 informants from 4 clusters of SMEs in the border areas. Data analysis was conducted through the processes of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. It reveals the issues faced by SMEs in enhancing their knowledge, perceptions, and behaviors towards the green economy. The summarized data is then validated through FGD (Focus Group Discussion) activities based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) involving all the informants. This PBL-based FGD process yields educational strategies aimed at developing digital technology-based literacy for the implementation of a green economy by SMEs in border areas.

Abstract

Performance measurement is one way to assess the level of success or failure of public sector organizations in carrying out programs or policies that have been set in realizing the vision and mission. The obstacles faced by the Faculty of Economics in dealing with public trust and improving the accreditation of study programs require a method used to carry out performance measurement regularly and periodically. The Balanced Scorecard in the education sector can be adapted to meet various objectives in the education sector, such as determining the effect of BSC implementation on university research and innovation performance. The method used in this research is mix methods so that it can produce quantitative results on customer / student satisfaction and qualitative results on the operational activities of the Faculty of Economics. The results of this study indicate that faculty performance from a financial perspective is measured by the budget plan for the annual economic faculty work program and the realization of work programs carried out at the Faculty. Non-financial performance, the perspective of internal business is described by the achievement of the Faculty's vision and mission, the growth and learning perspective is described through the utilization of the Faculty's human resources and the customer perspective is measured through student satisfaction. Balanced Scorecard is able to measure university performance, especially in the faculty of economics.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of product quality, price perception, and location on the purchasing decisions of Mie Gacoan among students in Solo Raya. Primary data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 100 students who had purchased Mie Gacoan. The analysis utilised multiple linear regression to assess the relationships between the independent variables (product quality, price perception, and location) and the dependent variable (purchasing decision). The results indicated that product quality and price perception significantly positively influenced purchasing decisions, while location did not have a significant effect. The F-test demonstrated that the independent variables collectively had a significant impact on purchasing decisions, with an F-value of 71.490 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) revealed that the three independent variables could explain 68.1% of the variance in purchasing decisions. This study underscores the importance of product quality and price perception in influencing consumer behaviour, providing valuable insights for businesses seeking to enhance their marketing strategies.

Abstract

The present study investigates the intricate relationships among corporate social responsibility (CSR), job crafting, employee motivation, employee engagement, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction within the domain of Indonesian vocational higher education institutions. Employing a quantitative research methodology, data were gathered from a sample of 254 participants through a structured questionnaire administered in 2024. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was utilized to examine the hypothesized relationships among the variables. Empirical findings indicate that CSR, employee motivation, and employee engagement exert a significant positive influence on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction demonstrates a substantial positive impact on organizational commitment. Notably, the study revealed that while CSR does not directly affect organizational commitment, it indirectly influences this outcome through its positive association with job satisfaction. Both employee motivation and engagement were found to significantly enhance organizational commitment, both directly and indirectly via job satisfaction. These results underscore the critical role of job satisfaction in fostering organizational commitment. Consequently, the study recommends that vocational higher education institutions prioritize the enhancement of CSR initiatives, the cultivation of employee engagement, and the implementation of equitable decision-making processes to cultivate heightened job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the influence of accountability, public transparency, and internal supervision responsibilities on the performance of the Bengkulu District Regional Government in relation to the Central District Development Unit. This investigation conducts quantitative research by administering questionnaires to each SKPD and employing survey methodologies to gather data. The method of purposive sampling is employed to select samples according to predetermined criteria. In the district of Bengkulu Central, the sample was composed of 40 respondents who were selected from 40 Working Units of Regional Devices (SKPD). The methodology utilized is double linear regression analysis. This study's results suggest that the regional government's operations are significantly influenced by both internal supervision and accountability responsibilities. However, regional administration's efficacy is minimally affected by the degree of public transparency. It is evident from the test results that the Regional Government's performance is not guaranteed to be improved by the presence of Public Transparency. Nevertheless, the potential enhancement of the regional government's efficacy could be positively influenced by the implementation of transparent and internal monitoring systems within the local administration, which are accountable to the public.
