Abstract

Job rotation refers to the rotation of employees in the work environment which has the potential lowering the employee motivation. However, it has several dimensions related to motivation which encourage the employees to do positive things for the organization. This study contributes to the literature explaining the benefit of job rotation which fosters the perspective of promotion within the scope of tour of duty and tour of area. The job rotation has been commonly applied to maintain the police institution’s sustainability and played a role as a promotion for future employees’ career. Further, the job rotation also influences the employees to have a high motivation to work and build good perspectives which simultaneously helps them perform well at work. This research is based on a case study which involved 9 informants as the primary data. The data was analyzed in a qualitative manner using NVivo 12 plus version 2019. The results show that the dimensions of job rotation had supported increasing the motivation to work in the Indonesian National Police, especially in Mempawah, West Kalimantan. Abstract

This article aims to describe the involvement of parents in supporting the learning activities of elementary school children during the Covid-19 pandemic in the West Kalimantan – Malaysia border area. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected by interview using thematic analysis on 3 parents of students, 2 teachers and 3 elementary school students in border areas. The results of the study reveal that the involvement of parents in learning activities in border areas, namely; provide facilities for children to support study from home activities, become a source of children's learning and act as teacher intermediaries in distributing material to students and student intermediaries in submitting student assignments to teachers.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is an individual's discretionary behavior, not directly related to or explicitly recognized by the reward system and that in aggregate promotes the effective functioning of the organization, OCB continues to expand into multiple disciplines such as human resources, marketing, health administration, hospital, economy, community psychology, and military psychology. This research was based on a case study within the Mempawah Police Resort, involving 9 informants consisting of key informants and triangulation informants as primary data. The purpose of this research was to know the effective’s OBC within the Mempawah Police Resort in supporting the duties, protecting, and serving the people of Mempawah Regency. The kind of this research was descriptive, and the data had been analyzed qualitatively using NVivo 12 plus. The results show that OCB had an effective role in building effective and dynamic communication, building a sense of sincerity and sincerity, increasing discipline, building a sense of responsibility, and building high commitment from members of Mempawah Police Station.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to find out what factors influence the decision of Village Government in allocating Village Funds and to find out strategies for using Village Funds to support the development of the Village economy through BUMDesa Pasti Jaya Abadi Pasti Jaya activities. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research approach with sources selected by purposeful sampling, namely the Village Government, Director, Secretary and Treasurer of BUMDesa, management of BUMDesa business units where researchers participate in research by collecting data by means of observation, in-depth interviews. by meeting in person or through Whatsapp media and cell phones as well as documentation of BUMDesa activities. The results of this study indicate that the main factor influencing the decision to use Village Funds in Pasti Jaya Village in 2020-2022 is the Central Government Regulation on the use of Village Funds during the Covid-19 pandemic. While the strategy for using Village Funds in improving the village economy through BUMDes activities is to meet local market demand through the BRILINK program, based on the potential of local resources through the SAPRODI business unit, capital to help micro-enterprises through productive business credit units and post-harvest processing through flour production business units. corn rice. BUMDes through the activities of business units that have been running have been able to provide PADes since 2018 and participate in improving the welfare of rural communities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how the form of application of the leadership style of economic actors in maintaining business continuity in Bengkayang Regency. In addition, to find out whether the applied leadership style is considered effective. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. The source of data in this study came from primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with predetermined informants. The data obtained was then processed using qualitative data analysis software NVivo 12. The results of this study describe leadership styles in maintaining business during the Covid-19 pandemic in border areas including transformational leadership styles and transactional leadership styles. The application of a leadership style that dominates business actors in border areas is a transformational leadership style, because leaders will tend to involve employees in strategic decisions according to the situation and conditions that occur. Thus the transformational leadership style can run effectively in various conditions that are happening in the business or business environment in border areas.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan digital marketing pada volume penjualan bagi para pelaku usaha di wilayah perbatasan Kabupaten Bengkayang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data penelitian yang diperoleh baik berupa data primer yakni observasi, wawancara maupun dokumentasi serta data sekunder berupa studi literatur, jurnal dan data pendukung lainnya yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah dengan adanya digital marketing mempermudah pelaku UMKM untuk meningkatkan penjualan bagi pelaku UMKM.

Abstract

Kegiatan program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada orang tua peserta didik di SD Negeri 15 di Desa Tampe, Kabupaten Bengkayang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman orang tua peserta didik mengenai esensi dari pendidikan keluarga di era digital saat ini. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan bentuk penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah bervariasi, tanya jawab dan sharing. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan secara tematik pada setiap notulensi di lapangan dan evaluasi secara lisan menjelaskan bahwa orang tua peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam menerapkan pendidikan di dalam keluarga yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman mendidik anak yang bertumbuh dan berkembang di era digital saat ini, kurangnya waktu bersama anak-anak dikarenakan mayoritas pekerjaan orang tua adalah petani yang setiap hari berladang. Dengan adanya kegiatan penyuluhan ini, orang tua semakin memiliki kesadaran pentingnya penerapan pendidikan keluarga, memiliki pemahaman esensi dan praktik dalam pengawasan, pengarahan dan pembimbingan orang tua dalam pendidikan keluarga di era digital, sehingga adanya keselarasan tujuan pendidikan di sekolah dan keluarga dalam membentuk peserta didik yang berkarakter, berpengetahuan dan berketerampilan.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the use of digital in the marketing of creative village rattan woven products in the Border. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using purposive sampling method, data collection, researchers using interviews, observations, and documents. The data analysis used in this study consisted of several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, to determine the validity of the researcher's data using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that not all of the digital marketing strategies were used properly, the use of social media Facebook and Whatsaap were the most widely used tools, besides that marketing strategies could also be seen through the 4P marketing mix where rattan woven products have the uniqueness of different motifs so that the price is also low. adjusting, strategic location because it is located on the border so that traditional promotion facilities are also very effective.

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the structuring activities that have been carried out and the planned activities to be carried out by the local government and landowners in maximizing the potentials of tourism in the City Center of Bengkayang, Bengkayang Regency. It was a descriptive, qualitative study. The present research was conducted in the Sebalo Village, Bengkayang District. The data were collected through direct visits to the field and in-depth interviews with the key informants, the landowners, the surrounding communities, and the local governments. The result of the study showed that there had been no arrangement activities at the locations around Riam Sebuluh. The intervention of the local government was not identified as an effort to preserve the environment of Riam Sebuluh located in the centre of Bengkayang City. The local government did not concern the importance of protecting the environment from the pollution of the Sebalo River in Bumi Emas Village, Bengkayang District, where the water was previously clear and became the pride of the Bengkayang people, and are now turning into very dirty. This condition needs to get the attention of all parties, especially the local government, through the policy interventions so that the community remains and obeys in maintaining the environment by not polluting the watershed through waste disposal or gold mining without a permit.

Abstract

Green economy berkembang didasarkan pada persoalan ekonomi berkelanjutan dengan mempertimbangkan faktor kelestarian lingkungan hijau di Indonesia, tanpa terkecuali daerah perbatasan. Persoalan yang muncul adalah limbah kemasan produk, persoalan pembuangan limbah pabrik atau rumah tangga, serta persoalan banyaknya hutan gundul karena tingginya permintaan bahan baku industri yang berbahan kayu, tanpa ada usaha untuk penghijauan kembali. Dalam menyikapi persoalan ini, peran pelaku usaha skala besar maupun kecil (UMKM) untuk memahami, mengerti, dan berperilaku berlandaskan green economy yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengetahuan, persepsi, dan perilaku pelaku usaha mikro kecil dan menengah di daerah perbatasan dalam upaya mengimplementasikan green economy. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara. Pengolahan dan analisis data kualitatif menggunakan qualitative data analysis software NVivo 12. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan pelaku UMKM di daerah perbatasan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dasar dalam menjaga lingkungan, terutama dalam lingkup green economy. Pengetahuan ini didukung oleh budaya, media informasi, pengalaman karir, dan pengalaman menerapkan. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki akan membentuk persepsi dalam mendorong perilaku yang sesuai bagi pelaku usaha di daerah perbatasan dalam mengimplementasikan green economy.
