Abstract

In this digital age, digital strategy skills are essential for business sustainability. Nevertheless, many micro-enterprises remain behind due to limited technological competence. This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy on the technology readiness of working mothers managing micro businesses in the fashion sector in Bandung City. A total of 114 respondents participated in this study through a paper-based survey using convenience sampling. The instruments used were the Self-Efficacy Scale by Venkatesh et al. (2003) and the Technology Readiness Index by Parasuraman (2000). Based on simple regression analysis, the results showed that self-efficacy did not significantly influence overall technology readiness (p = 0.311). However, there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy and the motivator aspect of technology readiness (p = 0.015). These findings suggest that individuals with higher self-efficacy tend to be more motivated to use technology. Furthermore, external factors such as access to digital tools and training also play an important role in preparing someone to use technology effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and assess the impact of capital structure, profitability, and investment policy on firm value in the energy sector, focusing on firms that were publicly listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2021 and 2024. Using a documentation method and a quantitative approach, the data is derived from the annual financial statements of energy companies officially published on the IDX website (www.idx.co.id). Following the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests to determine the most appropriate model, Panel regression model with the Common Effects Model was employed as the analytical method. The findings indicate that while capital structure does not have a significant partial effect, both profitability and investment policy exert a positive*and*significant influence on firm value. However, when assessed simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly affect firm value. The adjusted*R-squared value of 97.58% suggests that the model effectively explains the dependent variable. These findings imply that corporate management should prioritize improving profitability efficiency and implementing targeted investment strategies, as both are key factors in enhancing long-term firm value and attracting investor interest.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of product and promotional techniques on consumer purchasing decisions at Saga Cake & Cookies in Sintang Regency. The research employed a quantitative methodology via a survey approach, with data gathered via survey forms administered to 100 participants. The employed data analysis procedures encompass validity assessments, reliability evaluations, classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, multicollinearity), multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The data indicates that neither product nor promotion significantly influences purchasing decisions, whether considered together or individually. This is demonstrated by a significant value of 0.05 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.006, indicating that merely 0.6% of the purchasing decision variable might be clarified by the goods and promotion. Consequently, variables beyond product and promotion are likely to exert a more substantial influence on consumer purchasing decisions at Saga Cake & Cookies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of hard skills, soft skills, and digitalization on employee job readiness and the mediating role of job stress at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Lubuklinggau Branch. The method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The results showed that hard skills, soft skills, and digitalization partially affected work readiness. Simultaneously, the three variables also have a considerable impact, indicating that work readiness is influenced by various skills that support each other. In addition, job stress is proven to act as an intervening variable in the relationship between hard and soft skills and job readiness. Thus, developing technical, interpersonal, and digital skills needs to be accompanied by effective stress management to improve work readiness optimally. These findings provide important implications for human resource management in the banking sector, particularly in enhancing employee competencies and work readiness in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of improving employee performance within government agencies, which is not only influenced by structural factors but also by competence, individual behavior, and work motivation. This study aimed to analyze the effect of competence and personal behavior on employee performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable at the Research and Development Agency of Musi Rawas Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The sample comprised 42 respondents, determined through the saturated sampling technique. Data collection was done through questionnaires and data analysis using the path analysis method with the help of the SmartPLS version 4.0 application. The results showed that competence and individual behavior positively and significantly affected performance, both partially and simultaneously. Work motivation is proven to mediate the relationship significantly. These findings indicate that positive individual competencies and behaviors can optimally improve employee performance if supported by high work motivation. Therefore, good human resource management that emphasizes the development of aspects of competence, behavior, and motivation is an essential strategy for increasing the effectiveness of public organizations.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of accountability and transparency in public financial management, particularly in the vocational education sector. The objective of the research is to examine the implementation of Government Accounting Standards (SAP) and the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), as well as their contribution to improving the quality of financial reports at SMK Negeri 1 Patumbak. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. Key informants consist of the principal, vice principals, treasurer, and school operator. Data analysis follows Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the application of SAP at SMK Negeri 1 Patumbak refers to Government Regulation No. 71 of 2010 through the use of an online-based financial reporting application. This enhances efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of reporting. However, limited understanding of accrual-based accounting among human resources remains a challenge. The implementation of SPIP has been carried out through function segregation, authorization, and transaction documentation, yet routine internal audits have not been conducted, resulting in less-than-optimal oversight. Overall, the application of SAP and SPIP has positively impacted the quality of the school’s financial reports, as reflected in improved relevance, reliability, comparability, and transparency. Nevertheless, strengthening human resource capacity, increasing training intensity, and ensuring consistency in audit practices are required to further enhance report quality and maintain accountability within the school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing mix strategies (product, price, place, and promotion) on increasing sales, with purchasing decisions as a mediating variable at the Keris Center of Aeng Tong-Tong Village, Sumenep. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to 60 respondents. Data analysis techniques were carried out using multiple regression models and path analysis to test the direct and indirect effects between research variables. The results showed that only the price element in the marketing mix had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while product, place, and promotion did not show a significant effect. In addition, purchasing decisions had a significant effect on increasing sales, indicating its role as a mediating variable. The indirect relationship shows that price affects sales increases through purchasing decisions, while other marketing mix elements are not significant. These findings emphasize the importance of determining the right pricing strategy to increase purchasing and sales decisions, while other elements in the marketing mix need to be optimized to be more effective in supporting the development of the Keris Center of Aeng Tong-Tong Village.
