Abstract

This study investigates the impact of regional financial performance and economic growth on key social development indicators in Indonesia, namely poverty, unemployment, and stunting. Using panel data from 34 provinces for 2016–2023, the analysis employs the System Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) to address endogeneity and dynamic panel bias. The results show that Regional Own Source Revenue effectiveness ratio (ER1) significantly reduces poverty and unemployment, indicating that improved revenue realization enhances the fiscal capacity of local governments to provide essential public services and support employment. The regional independence ratio (IR) has a significant negative effect on stunting, suggesting that stronger fiscal autonomy enables better funding for maternal and child health interventions. Economic growth significantly lowers poverty and unemployment but has no significant effect on stunting. Meanwhile, the Gini Ratio exhibits a strong positive effect on stunting, highlighting income inequality as a major barrier to achieving better child nutrition outcomes.

Abstract

The phenomenon of quiet quitting is increasingly observed among millennial employees, driven by shifting values, expectations, and the pursuit of work-life balance. This study analyzes the determinants of quiet quitting, its impact on the performance of millennial employees in the government and private sectors in Bengkulu Province, and compares the two sectors. Using a quantitative approach, questionnaires were distributed to 250 non-managerial employees, and data were analyzed using PLS-SEM and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). All measurement instruments met validity and reliability criteria. The findings show that job demands significantly reduce employee engagement and increase quiet quitting, while job resources significantly enhance engagement and performance but do not directly influence quiet quitting. Employee engagement was found to improve performance and reduce quiet quitting, whereas quiet quitting negatively affected performance. A significant chain mediation effect was identified through employee engagement and quiet quitting in the relationship between job demands, job resources, and performance. MGA results indicated no significant differences between the government and private sectors. The study highlights the importance of managing job demands and strengthening job resources through proactive HR practices, Leadership support, balanced workloads, and career development to minimize quiet quitting and sustain organizational performance.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of the workforce training program budget at the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office through a qualitative approach. Although the average budget realization reaches 90.60%, the absorption of graduate work is still low, only 38.9% to 56.4%. Data were obtained from in-depth interviews with management officials, instructors, and trainees, as well as document reviews. The results of the study showed that 78% of respondents considered the implementation of the budget to be in accordance with administrative procedures, but only 46% stated that the training materials were in accordance with industry needs. As many as 63% of respondents assessed the limited facilities as the main obstacle to the effectiveness of the program. Research suggests planning training based on industry needs, improving facilities, and strengthening evaluations to optimize budgets.

Abstract

This study investigates how social media content shapes sustained consumer behavior in the bodycare industry by examining the roles of Relational Content (RLC) and Remunerative Content (REC) in driving Customer Engagement (CN), Customer Loyalty (CL), and Customer Stickiness (CS). A cross-sectional survey involving 220 Instagram users of Scarlett bodycare products was analyzed using PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4. All measurement constructs met validity and reliability standards. The results reveal that both RLC and REC significantly enhance engagement and stickiness, with relational cues showing consistently stronger effects than transactional incentives. Engagement emerges as the most influential predictor of stickiness and also strongly contributes to loyalty, whereas loyalty does not significantly predict stickiness. These findings indicate that sustained platform use is more strongly driven by active engagement behaviors than by attitudinal loyalty alone. Practically, brands should prioritize relational content—such as storytelling, empathy, and community interaction—to cultivate deeper involvement, while using promotional content strategically to prompt initial or repeated participation. The study advances content marketing and engagement literature by demonstrating the superiority of relational cues over extrinsic rewards in fostering long-term behavioral continuity on social media. Limitations include the use of a single-brand context and cross-sectional design. Future studies may extend the model to other industries, platforms, or longitudinal settings to further examine how engagement evolves into loyalty and behavioral persistence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work enthusiasm, job division, and competence on employee performance, with work commitment as a moderating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving a sample of 51 employees of the Social Affairs Office of Musi Rawas Regency. Data were collected through the distribution of structured questionnaires to respondents, and the analytical technique used was Structural Equation Modelling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that work enthusiasm has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job division also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, competence exerts a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The findings also confirm that work commitment positively and significantly moderates the relationships between work enthusiasm, job division, and competence on employee performance. This suggests that higher levels of work commitment strengthen the effects of work enthusiasm, effective job division, and adequate competence on employee performance. Overall, the study demonstrates that employee performance at the Social Affairs Office of Musi Rawas Regency is strongly influenced by work enthusiasm, clear and proportional job division, and employee competence, with work commitment playing a crucial role in reinforcing these relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business and entrepreneurial strategies implemented by Central Kedai Kopi Kepahiang (CK3) in the ground coffee industry in Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province. CK3 is a coffee business founded by Panca Dewanto in Tebat Monok Village, Agrodehasen Rest Area, Bengkulu. With sales volume reaching 2,000 cups of coffee per month and hundreds of kilograms of coffee powder per month, CK3 has demonstrated significant growth in the local coffee industry. This study employs a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with the founder, participatory observation, and document analysis. The analytical framework utilized the Business Model Canvas (Osterwalder & Pigneur, 2010), Porter’s Generic Strategies (Porter, 1985), and Entrepreneurial Orientation (Lumpkin & Dess, 1996). The results indicate that CK3 implements a differentiation strategy, focusing on the unique quality of Kepahiang Robusta coffee beans, a strategic location at a rest area, and a personalized consumer experience. The dominant dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation are proactiveness and innovativeness in product development. Effective marketing strategies include local market penetration, digital channel development, and building a community of coffee enthusiasts.
