Abstract

This research aims to find out the role and function of extension institutions on agricultural development (plantations) in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province and what obstacles in the extension and contribution of extension workers to agricultural development. This research was carried out in Bulukumba Regency using qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with farmers, agricultural extension workers and counseling in the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation in Bulukumba Regency.The results of the study showed the role and fugsi of plantation agricultural counseling institutions towards agricultural development which includes as a service, central communication, central institutional development and central development of partnerships and functions of counseling institutions as planning and depreciation of programs, provision and dissemination of information, human resources development, administrative arrangement and evaluation functions have not been maximal. The lack of quantity and quality of agricultural extension workers (plantations), the lack of trainings attended by plantation extension workers, the policy of transitioning from extension workers to extension workers of food crops. Agricultural development (plantation) is also seen from economic growth, community welfare, and increasing plantation production. The decline in production in several commodities, namely cloves, rubber, cocoa and coffee based on data from the central statistics agency from bulukumba district year 2014 to 2017.    Keywords: Role and Function of Counseling Institutions, on Agricultural Development.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out and analyze the influence of competence and motivation on the performance of employees of the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sulawesi Province and to know and analyze the variables that predominantly affect the performance of employees of the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sulawesi Province. The research has been conducted at the Office of Manpower and Transmiggration of South Sulawesi Province with an implementation time of 1 month, namely from January to February of 2018 with a sample of 71 people. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method, through regression testing by conducting validity and reliability test of question items of each variable as well as assumption test. The results showed that Competency has a significant influence on performance with P = 0.021< 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.179, this coefficient shows that the better the competence of employees, the performance of employees in the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sulawesi Province will increase; Motivation has a significant influence on performance with P = 0.000< 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.509, this coefficient shows that the better the employee's work motivation, the better the performance will be and the variable that has the dominant effect on performance is motivation, this can be seen from the beta value of 0.406 greater than other variables.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of export plantation commodities on economic growth in South Sulawesi. To know and analyze the export volume of plantation commodities, especially cocoa beans, coffee beans, cashew seeds, and rubber that affect the economic growth in South Sulawesi. And to know and analyze the effect of export trend of plantation commodities on economic growth in South Sulawesi. This research was conducted with the design of quantitative research method using time series data in the last 12 years.This results of the research shown 1) Export of plantation commodities such as cocoa beans, coffee beans, cashew seeds, and rubber had a mutual influence on economic growth in South Sulawesi in 2006 to 2017, 2) total exports of rubber commodities had a significant effect on economic growth in South Sulawesi, while cocoa beans, coffee beans, and cashew seeds had no significant effect, 3) trend analysis on total exports of plantation commodities such as exports of cocoa beans, coffee beans, cashew seeds, and rubber shown different trends. Commodities of cocoa beans, coffee beans, and rubber shows a negative trend while the commodity of cashew seeds had a positive trend and line. Keywords : Exports, Plantatioan Commodities, Economic Growth.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to partially analyze the influence of occupational health and occupational safety (K3) on the satisfaction of work care workers. The object of this research is employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area with a population of 56 employees who are also respondents in this study. The technique of collecting data is through questionnaires distributed to respondents, interviews and field observations. The research variables are occupational health and safety (K3) (X) and job satisfaction (Y). This study used descriptive analysis and simple regression analysis with quantitative approach, and to test its reliability level using Cronbach's Alpha. Hypothesis testing using Partial Test (T Test) with a significance level of 10%. Researchers used SPSS version 22.The results of this study stated that Occupational health and safety affects employee job satisfaction. Keywords: Theory of Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Analysis of Working Capital Management at PT. NurlenniKahar gas station 74.92212. To find out the Profibility of PT. NurlenniKahar gas station 74.92212. To find out the Analysis of Working Capital Management against Profibility At Pt. Nurlenni Kahar gas station 74.92212. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative (non statistic). To obtain the necessary data and information, the author conducted a study on PT. NurlenniKahar gas station 74.92212. From the results of research that has been done obtained results that (1) Management of working capital as measured by the cash turnover of inventory turnover in 2015 and 2016 shows this increase means the operation of the company PT. Nurlenni Kahar gas station 74.92212 has been effective in managing its working capital. (2) Profibility as measured by GPM, NPM, and OPM has increased, this means that the company in PT. Nurlenni Kahar gas station 74.92212 has been effective in carrying out its operations and the company is able to generate profit. (3) and lastly analysis of working capital management to profibility in PT. Nurlenni Kahar gas station 74.92212 has been effective, the increase in cash turnover and inventory turnover is accompanied by an increase in profibility obtained. Keywords: Working Capital and Profibility

Abstract

AbstractThe Makassar Plantation Products Industry Center (BBIHP) has established work safety programs for research employees, such as providing work safety tools for research employees including safety shoes, helmets, masks, glasses and gloves. But there is only one thing that causes work accidents that occur in the workplace, resulting in disruptions and decrease the spirit of employee performance. The population of this study is employees of the Makassar Plantation Products Industry Center which amounts to 122 employees with 83 civil servants and 39 non-civil servants. Samples in this study were taken based on parts per division, namely certain functional parts of the Center for Plantation Products Industry as many as 45 employees. The analysis used to find out if there is a positive and significant influence of independent variables (x_(1)and x_2) on dependent variables (Y) is multiple regression. Based on spss output statistical 22.0 for windows, the multiple linear regression equation can be formulated as follows: Y= 7,647 + 0.419 X_1+ 0.365 X_(2 ). The effect of occupational health and safety variables simultaneously positively affects employee performance is 30,698 with a significance value of 0.000. The effect of work health variables positively affect employee performance is 3,448 with a significant value of 0.001. The effect of work safety variables has a positive effect on employee performance is 3,046 with a significant value of 0.004. Keywords: Health and Work Slowness, Employee Performance.

Abstract

AbstractThe Office of the Governor of South Sulawesi (Biro Bina Perekonomian) Makassar has implemented training programs for research employees, such as types of training for research employees, including smart offices and MSMEs. But there is something that causes employees do not want to do the work, so there is disruption and decrease the performance of employees. The population of this study is employees of the Governor's Office of South Sulawesi (Bureau of Economic Development) Makassar which amounts to 38 employees with 33 civil servants and 5 non-civil servants. The analysis used to find out if there is a positive and significant influence of independent variables (X) on dependent variables (Y) is a simple regression. Based on spss output statistics 22.0 for windows, the simple linear regression equation can be formulated as follows: Y = 0.603 + 0.861X. The effect of training variables simultaneously positively affects employee performance is 55,055 with a significant value of 0.000. The effect of training variables has a positive effect on employee performance is 7,420 with a significant value of 0.000.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to test the influence of work discipline on employee performance in PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area.This research data was collected from 68 respondents working at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area.The statement was given using a questionnaire. Respondents' responses to the statements were then analyzed quantitatively. Quantitative analysis includes tests of validity, reliability, and simple linear regression analysis.The results of this study showed that work discipline variables have a dominant effect on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Area. Partially the variables of work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of employees with a thitung of 8,499and a significant value of 0.000 has a significant effect on the performance of employees, the most dominant affects the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area is a work discipline variable with a regression coefficient of 0.851Keywords: Work Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Human Capital Competence and Work Discipline on the performance of employees of the South Sulawesi Province Trade Office. The design used in this research is a descriptive survey method with regression techniques. The population in this study were 68 employees as many as 68 people. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and surveys.The results of this study indicate that. Competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance with P = 0.028 <0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.196, this coefficient indicates that the better the competence of employees at the South Sulawesi Provincial Trade Office, the better. Work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance with P = 0.022 <0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.263, this coefficient indicates that the higher the employee's work discipline, the performance will also increase. Work discipline is very influential on employee performance, because the success of an organization and achieving organizational goals is determined by employee performance. Keywords: Competence, Work Discipline and Performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACK                 This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of competence, work environment on motivation and performance of employees of the Gowa Agricultural Extension College (STPP) in Gowa, South Sulawesi Province as well as to identify and analyze variables that have direct and indirect influence on employee performance.                This research was conducted at the College of Agricultural Extension (STPP) Gowadi Gowa, South Sulawesi Province with a sample of 98 people. The method of analysis used in this research is quantitative method, through path analysis testing.                The results show that competence has a significant effect on motivation; The work environment has a significant positive effect on motivation; Competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance; The work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on performance; Motivation has a significant effect on performance; Competence has a significant influence on employee performance through motivation, this shows that the more appropriate the competence of employees with their work will increase work motivation and ultimately have an impact on employee performance that is getting better; The work environment has a significant influence on employee performance through motivation, this shows that the conditions of the work environment can increase employee motivation so that it has an impact on improving employee performance. Keywords: Competence, work environment, motivation and performance
