Abstract

This research was conducted to determine: 1) How to develop the design of learning journals as a reflection of effective elementary school teacher used to conduct classroom action research?, 2) How the results of testing the use of learning journals as a reflection of primary school teachers in conducting action research class?, 3) What are the characteristics, advantages and limitations of learning journals as a reflection of primary school teachers in conducting action research class created?. The purpose of this study are: 1) Explore the development of design learning journals as a reflection of effective primary school teacher and find out the results of testing the use of learning journals as a reflection of primary school teachers in conducting action research class. 2) Identify the characteristics, advantages and limitations of learning journals as a reflection of primary school teachers in conducting action research class developed. Place of research in seven SDN Indramayu district. The research method through the following phases. The number of samples was determined by 30 teachers/students who have taken the S1 PGSD and selected subjects in a way proportional purposive sampling areas as research subjects. Based on the results of the research data showed: 1) Pattern learning journal was developed through three steps of research and development (preliminary studies, planning and development), 2) Pattern learning journal which resulted in the design study journal contains material relating to: objective learning journal as part reflection of teachers in performing and understanding the concept of TOD material (reflective technical), linking them in the context of teachers in the classroom teaching experience (reflective contextual), and critically analyze the material and issues that are taught in the subject through the Class Action Research (reflective critical), 3) Application pattern learning journal, which is conducted through 3 rounds of learning cycle, focused on improving the pattern I and II, 4) Can be applied to each subject because in essence, learning journals elementary classroom teachers can do to perform the TOD with the characteristics of different subjects. Reflections on learning with the implementation of learning journals can do in times of learning (reflective in teaching), after learning (reflective on teaching), and for the next teaching (reflection for teaching), through self and shared analysis.Keywords: design journal of learning, media reflection, classroom action research

Abstract

This study employed research and development design.The aims of this study were to find out : 1) elgibility responses from expert in teacher working group (KKG) of elementary school toward PQ4R strategy oriented student worksheet on the subject matter trapezoid and kite area for fifth grade students of elementary school, 2) students and teacher’s responses toward the learning process by means of PQ4R strategy oriented student worksheet on the subject matter trapezoid and kite area for fifth grade students of elementary school. According to Thiagarajan, the process of development of student worksheet by using 4-D model is through defining (define), designing (design), developing (develop) and desseminatting (desseminat). However, in this study the process was restricted to the development process. This study yielded a PQ4R strategy oriented mathematics student worksheet on the subject mater. The students worksheet is very valid/very good/without revision according to expert (4,27) and validators (4,4), the students mostly gave positive response because have respons student 78,44% with option a, 20,44% with option b and c for 1,11% of the students said that the LKS was interesting/helpful/motivating and ispiring, and the teachers strongly agreed that the LKS was helpful. Basedon the result obtained. It is concluded the PQ4R strategy orientated mathematic student worksheet on the subject matter trapezoid and kite area for fifth grade students of elementary school can be used in learning process.Keywords :student worksheet (LKS), PQ4R strategy, research and development

Abstract

Abstract. Curriculum basically refers to the aim of national education which is to smarten the national life. Therefore, in developing the curriculum, it should focus on the nation intelligence aspect. Intelligent means not only some one owning the intellectuality but also with some skill as well as willingness and ability to utilize the intelligence to solve many problems in their social life. The curriculum development should consider the principles of developing the curriculum which will be the pillars or rules as the soul of the curriculum itself. The curriculum and learning in Elementary School should be able to change the students’ character and behavior into the better ones and to filter many negative impacts on knowledge and technology development happened in the real world. Beside, the curriculum also should be able to make the students master, utilize, and develop the science and technology and make them as the students learning media to improve their competence to achieve the national education purposes.Keywords: Green Living, Curriculum, Scientific Approach.

Abstract

Abstract. Theoretically the adolescent psychological development is a transition periodwhich is marked by changes in biological, psychological and social aspects. Empirically,the increasing trend of juvenile delinquency is caused by the inability of the earlyadolescents to be assertive so that their personality become weak and they can easily fallinto negative things. This study aimed at determining the extent to which environment andmass media have the influence on assertive behaviour and juvenile delinquency trend inJunior High School in West Java Province. The respondents of this research were 458students of Junior High Schools in West Java. Questionnaire was used to collect the data.Samples were chosen by using stratified random sampling technique. Data analysisemployed Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with two-stages testing: measurementmodel and structural model, using Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). The results ofthis study revealed that all hypothetical statements have significant effects. The findingsshowed that the increasing level of students’ assertive behaviour can decrease the tendencyof juvenile delinquency in them.Keywords: assertive behaviour, parenting, mass media, juvenile delinquency trend

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve the social skills of children through the method of role playing in the kindergarten Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto’s Labschool and to determine the constraints of social skills through role play methods which are given to children.The research method used was action research method. This study was conducted from 4 March to 20 May 2013.. The analysis method of research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The success of the research is concluded with the analysis using the percentage. Research declared successful if the percentage of social skills assessment> 40 after doing activities with role playing method.In the second cycle, twenty studentshas increased social skills. Highest percentage increase in social skills achieved by the subject Yz, at 96.6%.Roleplaying learning methods thatimplemented by teachers with step (1) propose and discuss the situation. (2) prepare a roleplaying, (3) playing (4) reveals the experience ; have done well. Abstract

Abstract. The success ofthe stateof education in Indonesia, particularly in the formal school curriculum can’t be separated from the role of education used by the unit as a reference and guidance in educational activities. Improvements and changes to the curriculum is arequirement in the education world because the life of society, nation and state. In the Indonesian state always changes and curriculum development as the development of society and the influence of globalizations.This study includes qualitative research. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, observation and document study. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive model of Miles and Huberman developed which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results showed that (1) Implementation of appropriate curriculum social studies educationin 2013 by a social studies teacher at state Junior High School 1 Kebumen been executed well even with all the limitations and constraints faced. (2) Implementation of social studies values by grade 7 students of state Junior High School 1 Kebumen been implemented properly. Factors grade 7 social behavior of state Junior High School 1 Kebumen largely influenced by the family environment and school environment. Advice for teachers should increase the understanding and mastery of curriculum related 2013 by attending various training. Keberhasilan pendidikan di negara Indonesia khususnya di sekolah formal tidak terlepas dari peranan kurikulum yang digunakan oleh satuan pendidikan sebagai acuan dan pedoman dalam kegiatan pendidikan.Penyempurnaan dan perubahan kurikulum ini merupakan sebuah tuntutan di dunia pendidikan karena kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.Di Negara Indonesia kurikulum selalu mengalami perubahan dan perkembangan sebagai pengaruh dari perkembangan masyarakat dan globalisasi.Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model interaktif yang dikembangkan Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Implementasi pendidikan IPS sesuai kuriukulm 2013 oleh guru IPS di SMP N 1 meliputi pemahaman dan pengetahuan IPS, perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran. (2) Siswa kelas 7 SMP N 1 Kebumen, secara umum siswa telah menerapkan nilai-nilai IPS di sekolah. (3) Faktor perilaku sosial siswa kelas 7 SMP N 1 Kebumen sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah. Saran bagi guru harus meningkatkan pemahaman dan penguasaan terkait kurikulum 2013 dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan.Bagi pemerintah agar melakukan pembenahan terhadap kendala-kendala yang dihadapi para pendidik di dalam melaksanakan kurikulum 2013.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Pendidkan IPS, Kurikulum 2013, Perilaku Sosial

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the cardiorespiratory fitness of football players of students Activity Unit of University of Muhammadiyah PURWOKERTO. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The population in this study are all of football players of Students Activity Unit of University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, with the number of 20 persons (respondents). The instruments in this study was by Multi Stage Running tests with the reliability and validity of 0.9 by 0.6. Data were analyzed by descriptive with percentage, as well as by six categories: privileged, very good, good, average, less, and very less. From the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the level of cardiorespiratory fitness football player of students Activity Unit of University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto was in privileged category of total 0 respondent  (00,00%), 0 respondent (00,00%), in less category, 3 people ( 15.00%) in average. 2 persons (10,00) in good category, 2 people or (10.00%) in very good category, and 13 people or (65.00%) in privileged category. Keywords : cardiorespiratory fitness             Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebugaran kardiorespirasi pemain UKM sepakbola Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemain UKM sepkbola Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, sejumlah 20 orang (responden). Instrumen dalam penelitian  ini menggunakan Tes Multi Stage (lari  Multi Tahap) dengan realibilitas sebesar 0,9 dan validitas sebesar 0,6. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif dengan presentase, serta menggunakan 6 kategori yaitu istimewa, sangat baik, baik, sedang, kurang, dan sangat kurang. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan , dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa tingkat kebugaran kardiorespirasi pemain sepakbola UKM Sepakbola Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto yang berada pada katagori istimewa sebanyak 0 orang (00,00%), kurang sebanyak 0 orang (00,00%), sedang sebanyak 3 orang (15,00%). Baik sebanyak 2 orang (10,00),  sangat baik sebanyak 2 orang atau (10,00%), dan istimewa sebanyak 13 orang atau (65,00%). Kata Kunci : kebugaran kardiorespirasi

Abstract

Abstract. 2013’s curriculum was used in many level of education, one of them is preschool. Based of the rule is PP No. 32 Tahun 2013. The problem at KKG Gugus Jendral Soedirman I is how to used this curriculum on activities at preschool. Focused of this movement is saintific learning and  authentic assessment. So, we have two programmes for solve the problem; (1) Learning Saintific’s Education. Educating start with find saintific concept and then save it to our mind. After each of teacher understanding this object, we are following with applicating saintific learning in six aspects growing dan development. Cognitive, physic, linguistic, social emotional, religi, and art, (1) Authentic Assessment’s Education. This action start with explaining deepth information about authentic assessment. Then, the teacher have time to assesst used anechdot and daily note. Both of them used to arrange daily assessment. There are two outcome’s of this project, 1) lesson planning and 2) assessment rubric. Keywords: curriculum, saintific, authentic  Abstrak. Kurikulum 2013 sudah diterapkan di beberapa jenjang pendidikan yang memiliki kesiapan dan kompetensi. Taman Kanak-kanak merupakan salah satu jenjang pendidikan untuk anak usia dini yang hendaknya juga mempersiapkan diri untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dasar pelaksanaannya adalah PP No. 32 Tahun 2013 tentang perubahan Standar Nasional Pendidikan merupakan salah satu dasar perubahan kurikulum dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Permasalahan implementasi kurikulum 2013 PAUD yang dihadapi guru di KKG Gugus Jendral Soedirman I, Purwokerto Timur dapat dirinci dalam dua aspek yaitu pembelajaran saintifik dan penilaian autentik maka pelaksana melakukan pembinaan sebagai berikut; (1) Pembinaan tentang Pembelajaran Saintifik. Pembinaan akan diawali dengan pemaparan dan diskusi mengenai hakikat, proses dan manfaat pembelajaran saintifik di PAUD. Di PAUD pembelajaran saintifik tidak boleh berhenti pada pemahaman maka pembinaan akan dilanjutkan pada aplikasi pembelajaran saintifik di semua aspek perkembangan yaitu: kognitif, fisik motorik, bahasa, sosial emosi, moral agama, dan seni, (2) Pembinaan tentang Penilaian Autentik. Pembinaan penilaian autentik dilakukan dengan pemberian informasi yang lengkap mengenai penilaian autentik, diskusi berbagai kendala dalam melakukan penilaian autentik, dan praktek melakukan penilaian autentik. Hasil luaran dari pelaksanaan pembinaan tersebut adalah kemampuan guru menyusun rencana kegiatan harian yang saintifik dan menyusun rubrik penialaian yang autentik. Kata Kunci : kurikulum, saintifik, autentik

Abstract

This study aims to improve basketball learning through the tactics approach method among Grade VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Pandak Bantul. This was a classroom action research (CAR) study consisting two cycles. The research subjects were 36 Grade VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Pandak, Bantul. The data were collected through: (1) observations on the basketball learning outcomes using the tactics approach method, (2) classroom observations on the teacher, (3) observations on classroom situations, (4) observations on students’ behaviors, and (5) a cognitive test. The results of the study revealed that there was an improvement in basketball learning through the tactics approach method among Grade VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Pandak, Bantul. Basketball learning through the tactics approach method among Grade VIII C in 2 cycles improved the process skills in playing basketball game with the tactics approach. Based on the assessment at the end of Cycle I, the students’ average score was 72.8. At the end of Cycle II, their average score improved to 78.0, so it was above the Minimum Mastery Criterion (MMC), i.e. 71. Meanwhile, the number of students who attained MMC in Cycle I was 17 (47%), and in Cycle II it became 33 (96%); this was above the class mastery, i.e. 75%. The class mastery from the cognitive aspect could be explained as follows: from the pretest results, the mastery was 16.67%, in Cycle I it was 91.67%, and in Cycle II it was 100%. The recapitulation from the observations on the students’ learning behaviors in Cycle I was 2.8, improving to 3.8 in Cycle II; that from the observations of teachers in Cycle I was 2.9, improving to 3.7 in Cycle II; and the class situation in Cycle I was 2.7, improving  to 3.7 in Cycle II. Keywords: Basketball Learning, Tactics Approach Method

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada permasalahan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa PGSD semester satu dimana tingkat keterampilan menulis  terutama menulis cerita pendek (cerpen) masih rendah. Salah satu alternatif yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen mahasiswa PGSD yaitu dengan menggunakan metode penugasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas terhadap mahasiswa semester satu yang terdiri dari 223 mahasiswa yang terbagi menjadi lima kelas, yaitu kelas A s.d kelas E. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui tes portofolio dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dengan cara kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, keterampilan menulis cerita pendek mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan cukup signifikan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siklus pertama diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 74, sedangkan pada siklus ke dua diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 85,98. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek mahasiswa semester I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,98 yang berarti metode penugasan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek.Kata kunci: Keterampilan Menulis, Cerita Pendek  dan Metode Penugasan
