Abstract

Nowdays Bullying has been found within the students of elementary school. It can be in the form of mocking, beating, forcing for money, and even go to criminal domain such as pricking by lethal weapon. Kinds of bullying are not identified and adults’ attitude or the others’ permissive action to bullying made kids feel that the less good action was supposed to be good and even improved to other kind of more complex from of bullying. This research aimed to find out the teacher’s perception toward bullying, kinds and factors of bullying, teacher’s strategy in facing bullying, the teacher’s strategy in handling the students of bullying victim. The kind of the research was a qualitative by interview technique and observation for collecting the data. The subject of this research were the third grader students, teacher, headmaster in an elementary school an Kemranjen Sub district. The research showed that the bullying happened was direct verbal contact bullying, indirect non verbal, the direct physical contact and sexual abuse. The factors influencing the bullying were generation, family surroundings, negativetanded surrounding, the technology use, and the unwise of the bullyingneglect by teachers. The strategies used to handle the bullying students were by teacher’s and headmaster’s strictness, the cooperation of teacher and parents, building good communication between teacher and parents. The strategy done in handling to the bullying victims were the seriousness of the effect caused that can be observed and physically seen. Keywords: Bullying, Student, Teacher, Elementary School

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada permasalahan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa PGSD semester satu dimana tingkat keterampilan menulis  terutama menulis cerita pendek (cerpen) masih rendah. Salah satu alternatif yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen mahasiswa PGSD yaitu dengan menggunakan metode penugasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas terhadap mahasiswa semester satu yang terdiri dari 223 mahasiswa yang terbagi menjadi lima kelas, yaitu kelas A s.d kelas E. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui tes portofolio dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dengan cara kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, keterampilan menulis cerita pendek mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan cukup signifikan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siklus pertama diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 74, sedangkan pada siklus ke dua diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 85,98. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek mahasiswa semester I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,98 yang berarti metode penugasan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek.Kata kunci: Keterampilan Menulis, Cerita Pendek  dan Metode Penugasan

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the local content of Javanese language material for fifth graders elementary school by using formative scoring sheet for mterial which were used by  teacher of fifth graders of elementary school in North Purwokertp district was Remen Basa Jawi 5. This research was qualitative research with content analysis technique.the data cllection technique was documentary which gotten from Remen Basa Jawi 5 book. The data was analyzed by using compatible result, less compatible, and not compatible. The data presentation was description by using narration. Based on the analysis result, the content appropriateness of Remen Basa Jawi 5 was less compatible with competency standard and basic competence, students’ need, and the reading criterioan, clarity f information, and the conformity of Javanese language theorm. The presentation’s result was less compatible in presentation organization’s criteria, motivation’s giving, and the completeness of information. The result of graphic analysis was less compatible in using font aspect,illustration, and performance design.Keywords : Analysis, Material, Local Content, Javanese Language

Abstract

Developing language skills in fourth-grade elementary school poses a complex problem due to factors such as teacher quality, teaching methods, and the curriculum used. A literature study was conducted to identify the problems related to language skill development in fourth-grade elementary schools and find solutions. This literature study used a qualitative descriptive approach and collected data from various relevant journals. Based on literature analysis, it was found that the main problem in developing language skills in fourth-grade elementary school was the lack of varied teaching methods implemented by teachers and limited resources for language skill development, as well as the need for better government and parental support to improve students’ language abilities. To address these problems, several solutions are suggested, such as training to improve teacher quality, using varied teaching methods, and campaigns aimed at increasing awareness and participation of parents and the government in supporting children’s language skills.

Abstract

The literacy movement faces several challenges in its implementation, especially the literacy movement in Indonesia. This literature study aimed to analyze the problems and implementation of the literacy movement in Indonesia using the literature study method. Data was collected by searching articles and journals related to the literacy movement in Indonesia. The results of the analysis showed that the government plays an important role in increasing public interest in reading through various programs and policies that support the literacy movement. However, there are still obstacles to implementing the program, such as a lack of budget and a lack of coordination between the agencies involved. In addition, the importance of considering local wisdom in developing literacy programs in Indonesia was also emphasized. The role of the family and school in increasing literacy is also very important. Other obstacles include the lack of access to reading materials and technology to support literacy, the lack of public awareness of the importance of literacy, and the lack of quality and quantity of human resources related to literacy. In overcoming the problems of the literacy movement, the implementation of effective programs involving the government, educational institutions, families, and society as a whole is very important. The results of this literature study are expected to contribute to the development of the literacy movement in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena adanya urgensi kesiapan belajar siswa kelas I yang mempengaruhi dampak jangka panjang terkait prestasi akademik maupun sosial seorang siswa di sekolah, serta kritisnya fase ini karena merupakan masa transisi antara prasekolah ke sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis kesiapan belajar siswa kelas I di SD Negeri 1 Tambaksogra; 2) Menganalisis kontribusi pendidikan prasekolah terhadap kesiapan belajar siswa kelas I di SD Negeri 1 Tambaksogra; dan 3) Menganalisis peran orang tua siswa kelas I dalam membentuk anak yang siap belajar di SD Negeri 1 Tambaksogra. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengamatan mendalam secara langsung dengan sumber utama atau informan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Tambaksogra dengan data primer diperoleh dari guru kelas 1, guru TK, siswa, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Kesiapan belajar siswa kelas 1 sudah baik pada aspek kematangan yaitu kematangan fisik, pemilihan tugas sesuai minat, keteraturan berpikir, serta kecerdasan pada aspek bahasa dan matematika dasar. Namun, perkembangan mental, kemampuan berkonsentrasi, dan penyelesaian tugas tepat waktu masih perlu ditingkatkan; 2) Pendidikan prasekolah berperan penting dalam membentuk dasar keterampilan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional anak, dengan kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua yang dapat memperkuat pembelajaran di TK dan membantu anak lebih siap dan percaya diri saat masuk kelas 1; 3) Peran orang tua dalam membentuk kesiapan belajar anak sudah terbentuk melalui keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran, dukungan emosional, ketersediaan sumber belajar, komunikasi dengan guru, dan model perilaku positif, meskipun masih ada permasalahan seperti kesulitan orang tua memahami materi pelajaran dan kurangnya komunikasi dengan guru.

Abstract

Research focuses on the process of social innovation, innovative ideas, changes in character for the better, the involvement of the principal in innovation, and forms of innovation to support school achievement on a micro level. Positive things related to school innovation can be recommendations for other primary schools. to support the achievement and quality of primary schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants in this study were principals and teachers, students and social school innovation leaders. The research data collection technique uses an empirical approach, observes, records data from interviews and studies documentation in this case. The importance of social innovation connects ideas for problem solving with problem solutions to find change, making students, teachers and school members excited to learn and work in dynamic and fun school conditions. Social innovation provides inspiration, stimulates creativity, comfort and conduciveness. The involvement of the principal as a role model, providing empathy, innovators and motivators realizes the importance of providing stimulation and being a motivator so that social school innovation in character learning can be implemented so that it can support school achievement with the synergy of all school and community parties. The leadership of the principal shows a complex understanding of organizational learning so that it can bring about change as a guide for implementing school innovation effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Hybrid learning, with a focus on facilitating students’ problem-solving skills, is a new and innovative approach which teachers can employ to inculcate higher-level thinking among their students. Accordingly, the purpose of this hybrid training program is to equip teachers with the skills to create hybrid learning instruments that facilitate problem-solving in their classrooms. The training methods include presentations, Q&A sessions, discussions and performances in the form of direct exercises guided by a facilitator (or resource person). Offline teachers from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Muhammadiyah Kramat and online teachers from a primary school, or Sekolah Dasar (SD) MI Muhammadiyah Se-Banyumas attended the training. In general, training activities are structured into 4 stages, namely (1) training on creating instruments and implementing hybrid learning to support problem-solving; (2) assisting in the creation of hybrid learning instruments; 3) monitoring, testing, and implementing hybrid learning in the classroom; and 4) reflecting on the outcomes of implementing hybrid learning. Insights gained from the training program that aims to create hybrid learning instruments, are presented and discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IV SD pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) melalui penerapan model PBL berbantuan Articulate Storyline 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak tiga siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 siswa kelas IV SD UMP. Pada siklus I, siswa diperkenalkan pada masalah melalui media interaktif dan dibimbing secara langsung oleh guru. Siklus II difokuskan pada peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi kelompok untuk mengembangkan solusi. Siklus III memperkuat kemandirian dan kemampuan reflektif siswa melalui presentasi hasil pemecahan masalah. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa dari 70,45 pada siklus I menjadi 79,77 pada siklus II dan 81,14 pada siklus III. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat secara bertahap di setiap siklus. Penggunaan Articulate Storyline 3 terbukti efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar, perhatian, dan keaktifan siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Articulate Storyline 3 efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa serta mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between students' perception of Indonesian courses and their impact on academic performance. Through a quasi-experimental design, this study combines quantitative surveys, social media sentiment analysis with big data-based NLP, and statistical regression of academic records from 1,200 students at 10 universities in Indonesia. The study results show that students' negative perception of Indonesian courses has a significant negative correlation with their academic achievement. Through regression and correlation analysis, it was found that students with higher levels of negative sentiment towards this course tended to have a lower Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), with R² = 0.23 (p < 0.001) which suggests that the negative perception of the course can explain the variability of a GPA of 23%. These findings suggest that an unpleasant learning experience can significantly affect students' academic performance, especially when associated with teaching methods, curriculum relevance, and students' academic burden. The implications of this study confirm that curriculum reform and technology-based pedagogical innovation are not only needed to improve students' learning experience, but also play a role in optimizing academic outcomes.
