Abstract

This research focused on the religious behavior of science and biology education students at the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga. To answer this, Max Weber's theory was used through affective action. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the religious behavior of biology education students at the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga. This research was expected to make a new contribution to all students in general, and in particular to the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga as a place used by researchers in conducting research. This type of research was a qualitative descriptive form of phenomena that occurred in the field, the research sample was 50 people from 261 populations. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, the sampling technique was based on the existence of certain objectives with consideration. The data obtained through this study were observation, interviews, and documentation which were then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on the results of the study, found answers, that some biology education students have religious behavior with a fairly good category, this can be seen from their attitudes namely faith and preaching, good morals, attitudes toward religious activities, attitudes of responsibility and positive dependence, al- The Qur'an raises human consciousness, despicable moods and behavior. In addition there are driving factors in religion, namely family education, institutional education and community education.

Abstract

IAIN Tulungagung is one of the PTKIN who has a vision of "the formation of an academic community based on the principles of science, morality, culture, and the spirit of Islam rahmatan lil 'naturalin. New students must follow the Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) activities to learn and deepen the knowledge of the Islamic religion. It is seen that IAIN Tulungagung students have various levels of understanding of Islamic knowledge, ranging from those who cannot read the letters of the Qur'an to those who can read the yellow book. Because of that, IAIN made Madin program, one of which was the learning program of Reading and Writing Al-Qur'an. This research method used descriptive qualitative research with a percentage. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Based on research with qualitative data analysis on the focus of the problem of how the organization of reading and reading Al-Qur'an with the Al-Nahdliyah method, the results were obtained that 1) the reasons for selecting students to follow BTQ learning in the most order were a) because they felt unable to read Al -Qur'an properly and correctly, b) because they wanted to deepen BTQ, c) because it was told by parents / guardians. 2) The BTQ learning begins at 07.00 to 08.30 Monday to Thursday. Before the implementation, the BTQ coordinator determined the cleric who was teaching. 3) Evaluation of BTQ learning results from 2,734 people, who passed 2,297 people or 84%, passed conditional 138 people or 5%, and did not pass 290 people or 11%. 4) The inhibiting factors and the solution was the inhibiting factors of BTQ learning, namely low motivation from students and lack of student discipline. The solution is by explaining the importance of BTQ learning.

Abstract

Recently human attitudes and behaviors do not go through a mature and comprehensive thought process often occur. They are easily provoked so that many victims of mental and emotional oppression was deviations from the norms of communication, behave as if separated from ethics of politeness, cross borders values ​​and manners. Among them have an impact on religious and cultural attitudes that are used as tyranny, where in the name of God and ethnicity, people commit violence, oppression, injustice and murder. The research used the library research method that aimed to describe and obtain comprehensive knowledge related to the cultural meaning of philosophical thinking and to explain strategies in building a philosophical culture that can foster religious beliefs. The results of this study increased faith coupled with philosophical thinking in addition to knowing further behind a belief, our beliefs will also be stronger and not easily wear off.

Abstract

Evaluation research aimed at determining the condition of input, process, and output.  evaluation of Input is evaluation of conditions before the Ma'had Ali program was carried out. Process, evaluation of the program management process. Output of the Ma’had Ali Program, at this stage evaluation will be carried out on graduates. Its evaluation model was a countenance stake. The methods were used such as interviews, observation, questionnaires and assessment sheets that are structured for managers, students, lecturers, and alumni. The conclusions of this study were the evaluation of whole input components was in a bad category because the respondents who answered very good and good category were only 50.9% of 100%. Whereas, the evaluation of process components was in a good category because the frequency of very good and good category was 77.17% of 100%, While, the evaluation of the overall output component is in bad category because the frequency of very good and good category was 73.6% of 34 graduates who answered the questionnaire. This shows that the overall output of the Ma’had Ali program has not reached the standard of a successful program.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the implementation of an immersed type of integrated thematic learning model to improve student’s motivation at MI Tahsinul Akhlaq Bahrul Ulum, Surabaya. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection in this research was participant observation category to the teachers and students at MI Tahsinul Akhlaq Bahrul Ulum, Surabaya. The technique of data analysis in this research was data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The preparation processes was i) researcher examined everything that could improve student’s motivation, ii) researcher examined the basic competencies (KD) contained in the syllabus book, iii) researcher examined the teacher's book and student's book, iv) researcher examined the learning model that could improve student’s motivation, and v)  researcher arranged Lesson Plan (RPP). The lesson plan was implemented in thematic learning at MI Tahsinul Akhlaq Bahrul Ulum, then analysis was conducted to relate the improvement of student’s motivation before and after thematic learning with Immersed type. The result showed that the integrated thematic learning with Immersed type could improve students’ motivation at MI Tahsinul Akhlaq Bahrul Ulum.

Abstract

This paper aims to study the storytelling method for early childhood education in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad r, where many stories are told by the Prophet which contain educational values. Prophet Muhammad as a great educator realizes that the storytelling method is very effective in instilling faith and character building in children's souls, because in the storytelling method there is an attraction that can touch the souls of listeners/students as if he lives in the story and become one of the actors. The story method in Islamic education has functions and tasks that are not found in other educational methods, it is very effective for attracting the children’s attention and stimulating their brains well, and the story in the Hadith Al-Shareef has features that impact on children's psychology and education which are very strong, clear, and long-term. Therefore, The Prophet Muhammad is the most powerfull model for us in educating our children.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the findings related to the affective aspects of the novel “Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan” by Tasaro GK. This is motivated by the facts which show that learning of Islamic History and Culture is still mostly done based on cognitive aspects alone. This is certainly not in line with the characteristics of these learning which not only include the development of the cognitive aspects of students, but also demands empowerment in the affective and psychomotor aspects. So that one alternative problem solving that can be offered is to use novels as a source of affective learning. The discussion in this study was carried out with a content analysis consisting of four steps; data procurement, data reduction, data analysis, and inference. The results of data analysis show that there are various forms of simulations on the level of affective aspects in the novel “Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan”.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was determining the ‘masyiatullah’ concept in Islamic education process. The approach in this study used a qualitative approach, an approach in natural objects condition, where researchers become key instruments. The results showed that masyiatullah concept was the core of Islamic education, where the concept become a solid foundation to form students who believe and have faith. Ideally, Islamic education theology can produce a generation who had the awareness that they are servants of God.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran berbasis teknoligi informasi di pesantren, medorong pendidik/guru di pesantren menggunakan teknologi informasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan dipadukan dengan kajian perpustakaan, sehingga akan mendapatkan konsep dan kajian yang mampu membawa pesantren ke era revolusi industeri 4.0. Permasalahan yang terjadi di pesantren antara lain proses pembelajaran di kelas masih terpusat pada guru, sumber pengetahuan utama masih berasal dari guru dan literasi yang berkembang masih calistung (membaca, menulis dan berhitung). Hasil penelitian antara lain; pimpinan pesantren dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi mengunakan Learning Management System (LMS), seperti; Google Classroom, Zoom Clouds Meeting, Schoology dan LMS lainnya. Sehingga proses pembelajaran tidak hanya terpusat pada guru tetapi terpusat pada peserta didik/santri dan literasi yang digunakan adalah literasi data, literasi manusia dan literasi teknologi. Kata Kunci: Revolusi Industri 4.0, pembelajaran, teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Hadith are the most important source of law and guidance for Muslims after the Qur'an. As a guide to life, certainly the hadith is very closely related to humans behavior. The excess value exept being a source of law and guidelines for life, we can get a lot of moral values contained therein also. One institution that implements moral education with hadith learning is madin al-ulya, an institution that located in the area of ​​prostitution. Madin al-ulya's efforts are not as easy as turning the hand, because in addition to environmental factors, family and parents background factors are be an obstacle. However, the determination of the teachers in Madin Al-Ulya to continue to instill good moral values deserves appreciation, so that more or less those values influence the behavior of the children in that environment, which in turn begins to form good character.
