Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate thematic learning in Islamic School that becomes partner of PGMI (Education of Islamic Elementary School Teachers) that includes: 1) teachers’ context in thematic learning, 2) implementation of thematic learning, 3) supporting and inhibiting factorsof thematic learning.This research is a qualitative research and the subject of research is teacher in the lower class. The research instrument in this research is the researcher itself. The data is collected through conducting interview, observation,and documentation. Data validation is collected through conducting triangulation and observation continuously. Data analysis is done since collected data using interactive model that consist of three steps, such as data reduction, input data, and make conclusion.The result of this research shows that the teachers’ context in thematic learning for beginner class is already appropriate, whereas for their teaching experience is still less. However, from the result of training, it can be concluded that teachers actually could implement thematic learning well. The implementation of thematic learning is already good; it can be seen from the existence of lesson plans, display of students’ tasks, and also portfolioassessment which includes a lot of students’ practices and discussions. The supporting and inhibiting factors in the thematic learning is resulted from the teachers, the students, and the environment but those factors could besolved and fially the result is the thematic learning could be done well.Keywords: Evaluation, thematic learning

The purpose of this research is to solve the problem of learning related to the effort to improve creativity in learning for students university. Innovation of learning that developed is a transformative model of learning based onprincip of learning “how to learn”. Research method that used is research and development (RD). Abstract

Inclusion education is an educational concept that does not distinguish the background of a child's life just because of physical and mental limitations. This education is intended for children with special needs to be able to hone their talents and motivations since few of them experience problems in receiving and processing the information around them. Generally, the problem is known as specific learning difficulties (learning disabilities) which is a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes covering the understanding and the use of spoken or written language. The department of elementary madrasah teacher education of Islamic education faculty of Muhammadiyah Magelang University (PGMI FAI UMMagelang) is trying to formulate Scientific Vision which is manifested as an explanation in the vision of department which means “Excellence in Inclusive Education.”

Abstract

The concept of Among system is a education system that support values of humanities and democracy. It is still relevant to be implemented in Islamic education for future. The analyzing showed that the concept of Among system will bring a new paradigm in the learning process of Islamic education to make a revolution from traditional learning process.  In the new paradigm, teacher is not only one source of science but also the student must have a critical thinking. So that, curriculum development of Islamic education will be centered in skill and transfer the values of religion.

Abstract

Textbook is one of learning components that plays an important role in determining the success of learning. Textbook as a media and one of main resources in the learning process has a strategic role to be developed to improve the quality of learning and cultivate religiosity of the students. The cultivation of religious characters will be effective, efficient, and interesting if the available textbooks are combined with the Islamic education and characters contents. Those contents will create religious atmosphere and familiarize the students in practising their religiosity in everyday life. In this way, the competency of Islamic education and characters are combined with the competency of other subjects that are packaged in a learning experience. Thus the Islamic values will be formed in students characters.

Abstract

This research was aimed to identify the differences and influences of pictorial media to the achievement of tenth grade students in Public Elementary School 1 Peusangan Bireuen Aceh, in the material of  natural appearance and social condition in Neigborhoud Countries. The method used in this research was quasi experiment, i.e. a method to identify the influence of other variables to a specific variable. Two variables were analyzed in this research: (1) pictorial media as independent variable, and (2) students’ achievement as dependent variable. Analysis resulted in a significant influence of pictorial media to students’ achievement in geographic. It was showed by the value of t = 2.811 and two-tailed significance of 0,006, which resulted in p 0,05. Based on this result, it was decided that Ho cannot be accepted and H1 is accepted. Thus, it was concluded that there is a significant difference between students learning using pictorial media and students learning without pictorial media (focused on text book only).Key words: Pictorial media, learning achievement

Quantitatively, amount of madrasah which increasing since decade 1990-an, hence policy require to be strategic to the make-up of its quality. One of the effort with believed to become strategic step develop;build quality of madrasah is require to perform of accreditation of madrasah periodical. performed of the accreditation program expected can reach standard is quality of which is specified and in turn can improve quality of good madrasah at quality of quality and also institute all educative participant to be able to reach efficacy of education. Accreditation system play role which do not only is important, but strategic also. That strategic role for example is, First: giving comprehensive information to society (stakeholders) concerning certain madrasah. Second, as starting point all educationist and all builder of madrasah in analysing and giving solution to problem of faced by madrasah. Third, as a means of operation of quality. Abstract

This study aims to identify the background, expectations and perceptions of parents sending their children to SD Alam Muhammadiyah and students in attending education at the Nature School The method in this research is qualitative with a case study approach.. Data collection techniques in this study through interviews, observation, documentation and field notes. The results of this study found that the background that influenced parents decided to send their children to SD Alam can be concluded for several reasons, namely Distrust, Past Experience, Word of Mouth Communication, External Communications, Personal Need and Institutional. While the background of school students in SD Alam is due to the reasons for the Parent Need and School Environment. The expectations of parents is that children have a strong religious foundation. Children have social intelligence, children have good morals / characters, have abilities in sports, schools can direct children to have their own unique and creative talents, supply of available books and the construction of SMP and SMA Alam. Whereas students 'expectations, namely extracurricular programs, are reproduced and students' self-development programs are more often implemented. In the aspect of parental perception is the concept of nature-based schools that are fun and interesting for children, the portion of religious education is more, the rules are more flexible than state schools, prioritizing religious values, character and creativity and do not distinguish between social status and condition of children. While the perception of children is school, teachers and subjects are fun and many extracurricular.

Abstract

Lots of reasons that make education in moral and values is very important for children. One of them is because of the drugs abuse. Education in moral, teach about good and bad in behavior, actually in moral education there are two different side. They are physically and mentally. Values is about the truth and efficiency that hold people as a standart in behavior, the beauty of justice that should be done and kept. The conclusion of morality is the quality of what people do to show whether it is true or wrong, good or bad. Morality explains the meaning of good and bad in human behavior.Keyword: Moral, and Values
