Abstract

The view toward women as second class human after men has been happened a long time. This stigma is risen from culture side, not from religious side, since in Islam there is no difference between men and women positions. Each human are equal in their capacity as human being. However, in fact, some religious texts from al-Qur’an and Hadith that are textually, partially and tendentiously understood unfortunately become tools to demeaning women. This article discusses one hadith misoginis about women as the majority of hell inhabitant through takhrīj al-ḥadīth approach and based on contextual understanding. Abstract

Shaikh Zarnuji merupakan salah seorang tokoh terkemuka dalam bidang pendidikan di dunia Islam. Karyanya yang monumental adalah kitab Ta?li>m al-Muta?allim yang menjelaskan berbagai macam metode serta analisis yang seyogyanya diaplikasikan oleh pengajar dan orang yang belajar, mulai di kalangan pesantren sampai di perguruan tinggi/ma?had aly. Dalam penelitian ini dijelaskan analisis hadis-hadis yang tidak dijelaskan kualitasnya oleh Shaikh Zarnuji, sehingga untuk menjagaorisinalitas hadis dapat diambil natijah/kesimpulan, yaitu jika suatu hadis belum dapat dipastikan shahih sanad-nya, tidak perlu menyandarkannya sebagai sabda Rasulullah Saw., akan tetapi yang diungkapkan adalah terdapat riwayat yang menjelaskan hal demikian.Kata Kunci: Kritik hadis, Ta?li>m al-Muta?allim, orisinalitas, natijah

Abstract

As the second source of Islamic teachings after the Qur?an, the Hadith has an important position towards the development of Islamic teachings. The search of the history of the Hadith certainly has very long twists and turns, the era of the Prophet Muhammad, Companions, Tabi?in to the Muhadithin. The dynamics of thedevelopment of the Hadith is also accompanied by the development of the ulumul hadith, one of the aims of the existence of the ulumul hadith is to look for the authenticity of a Hadith, until the theory of the classification of Hadith emerges in terms of the quality or quantity of the Hadith. However, in line with the development of this contemporary era, the Hadith experiences a problem when it must adapt to the conditions and socioculture of society. Historical aspects, authority, reinterpretation, authenticity to methodology are considered to be separate problems experienced by this second source of Islamic teachings in the contemporary era. As a literature study and literature study, this paper attempts to reinterpret the classification of Hadith and reveal the problems of the Hadith in the contemporary era, so as to produce a solution to the continuity of the Hadith in the contemporary era.Keywords: Classification of Hadith; Problematics; Solutions; Contemporary Era.

Abstract

Reward and punishment are methods can be applied in educating children, both given by teachers and parents. Reward is an educational reaction to the good deeds that have been done by students. Reward as a methode of motivating children to do good and improve their achievements. Reward given is a pleasant feeling thatgives rise to the desire in the child to do good and better things in the future, but not to thicken the maternal nature. In contrast to the opposite, punishment is a sanction given to the child when making mistake. Abstract

This paper analyzes the opposition or objection of the writing of hadith ini the second century Hijri in Basrah. By using the historical approach and theory of Walter J. Ong?s orallity and literacy, it was found that since the time of the pophet was still alive, the wring of hadith has indeed became a problem among the companions (?a??bah). This continued during the time of the companions, tabi?in, t?bi? al-t?bi??n, untill there was widespread distribution of hadith accured since some champanions lived in Basrah during the caliph of ?Umar bin al-Kha???b (d. 23 H/644 AD). Historically, many prominent scholars of hadith in Basrah refused to wrote the hadith. They prioritize oral tradition that are closely related to the memorization tradition rather than the written tradition. Oral tradition is indeed very visible in the history of the narration of traditions, giving rise to the term ?abi?. This term shows the power of a narrator?s memorization without relying on writing. In addition to demonstrating the power of memorization, scholars who reject the writing of tradition also avoid meaningful transmission. With the opposition of writing hadith, the narrators who are ?iqah or not can be identified.Key Word: Opposition, Writing of the Hadith, Second Century of Hijri, and Basrah.

Abstract

Increasing technological advances in life encourage people to continue to follow. As the development of the era then the more advanced technology tools. One of them is the presence of gadgets that can be used berselfie. Selfie is a self-image taking activity through a smartphone or webcam which is then uploaded to social media. This study aims to determine the meaning of selfie in social media according to students of Hadith Science IAIN Kediri which is also related to their understanding to the hadith of riya?. Therefore, a qualitative approach isused with in-depth interview method to 13 selected informants. The result of descriptive analysis of berselfie practice in social media by students of Hadith Study Program IAIN Kediri is related with the hadith about riya?show different meaning. Five informants interpret selfie as amaliyah to self-exist; satisfy desire or desire; as a means of expression in a moment or activity to be seen and remembered at other times by self or others; andpose and expression in front of the camera. Nine informants claimed to be familiar with the hadith about riya?. Seven informants meaning selfie images uploaded in social media is not necessarily related to riya? behavior because it all depends on how and how often we selfie and the intention of the culprit.Keywords : Meaning; Selfie; Riya?; Social Media.

Abstract

Indonesian Islamic community is facing two unprofit concept. First, fundamentalism that has radical action. Second, liberalism that grows desakralization of religion. Those conditions have a big role to influence howthe sosiety act in religion, social, and politic. As a rahmah li al-?a>lami>n, Islam had offered a concept that full of solution from Rasulullah s alla Alla h ?alaih wa sallama utterance. That concept gives someone?s Islamic indicator formula, not only be seen from identity, but also from their speak (lisa>n) and hands (yad). This article will explain the mean from utterance by integration-interconnection paradigm with communication psychology approachment and maudlu?i hadis. From this reseach, there?s an information that oral meaning is related in how to communicate, both of spoken or written. While yad meaning is a mufti?s knowledge, leader?s authorization, wealth of rich people, and prayers of the poor. That concept is related how someone?s speak and act well as their each proportion. Abstract

This paper explains the way or method in understanding hadith. Hadith is the second Muslims guidance after the Qur?an. In it capacity, believed that hadith is answers of society problems. But hadith is the remaining text, however, the problems that occur in society are continuing to develop. So it is not uncommon to find the hadith text that appears to contradict current conditions. To face this problem, it necessary to formulate new methods and approaches to understand the hadith. One of them is the contextual understanding method. Abstract

The article explor ideological, normative and scientific hadith as well as the power relation and its contestation that contribute to the perpetuation of the hegemony of back to the Qur?an and Sunna discourse. It also discloses the mechanism of knowledge power that operates in the discourse of the issue. The phenomenon of back to the Qur?an and Sunna illustrates how knowledge is constructed, controlled and perpetuated through several mechanisms to be eventually systematic discursive practice. Norm and social order which operate in the system of power as the ruler and controller of the the practice and the continuation of the power of the knowledge. A set of norms and orders including the banning, compulsory, stigmatization, and stereotype become strategic mechanism in strengthening the knowledge power on back to the Qur?an and Sunna. Several religious and cultural practices become the locus to instill the norms. Abstract

H adi th is believed to be a guideline for life after the Qur?an, hence the various methods of understanding used must be appropriate so that the traditions can provide benefits for life. So far many criticisms have been directed at the classical hadith methodology of hadith because they are considered irrelevant to current needs. This criticism is not entirely true because after all the classical sharih method is still needed. At least as a reference for the new sharih hadith method so that he does not lose his footing. The effort that needs to be done is how to combine the old method with the new method so that the sharih of the hadith can produce a valid understanding. This article presents the development of Sharh Hadith since the 6th century until now using the historical-phenomenological approach. Furthermore, the Sharh Hadith methodology is also offered which applies the old methodology in the new direction accompanied by an explanation of the steps. Furthermore, also included a concrete example of the realization of the values of hadith in contemporary life. Thus the reader can find the meaning of syarh hadith in his real life.Keywords: Sharh, hadith, method, model
