Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between organizational communication and organizational culture with the work climate in MTsN (Islamic junior high school) Bone 1 South Sulawesi both partially and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with correlational research design. The instrument used to measure the variables of this study is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using product moment correlation analysis and multiple correlation with the help of SPSS version 21 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational communication and organizational culture with a work climate in MTsN (Islamic junior high school) 1 Bone Sulawesi Selatan, both partial or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of school climate on the teacher’s performance at Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. It aims to: 1) Describe the actual school climate; 2) Describe the actual teacher’s performance ; 3) examine the influence of school climate on teacher’s performance at Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. This research uses quantitative methodology with ex post facto. the samples of this research are 29 teachers of Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. The data were collected using questionnaires and visual documentations, and then were analysed using product moment correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, as well correlation. The data analysis indicates that: 1) the actual school climate is in conducive category with score of 73% ; 2) the favourable score of the actual teacher’s performance with 70% score; 3) a positive influence of school climate on teachers’ performance, signified by 20% score with coefficient correlation value of 0,0447 and regression equation value of Y=60,734 + 0,156X.

Abstract

Work effectiveness is the degree of accuracy of the organization in achieving the objectives seen from the activities carried out. Many factors that influence work success, such as internal communication, office layout, work motivation and others. This article will discuss the influence of internal communication on improving work. The purpose of this article is to understand the presence or absence of internal communication and most internal communication is related to cooperation both simultaneously and partially. The population to collect article data is employees at universities in Palembang-Indonesia City. The total population is 90 people with the data collection method used is a questionnaire and documentation. Obtained data obtained were analyzed using descriptive contributions and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS for windows release 16. Based on the descriptive analysis obtained by the level of internal communication of 86% including the excellent category, while the level of work requirements amounted to 78.78% including the good category. Based on the calculation of multiple linear regression analysis also obtained Fcount of 17,234 with a significance of 0,000. Conclusion that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, that is there is internal communication motivation towards work effectiveness. The amount is 28.4% while it is partial 16% for leadership variables and 5.29% for internal communication.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the leadership role of the headmaster in building aconducive madrasah culture in the MAN Bone District. This research is a field study with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews and observations. The subject of this study is the headmaster, deputy chief of madrasah, teachers, administration staff, and students. Data is analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the headmaster performs its role in developing cultures in terms of values, such as initiative, togetherness, responsibility, sense of existence, commitment, cooperation, mutual understanding, spirit of unity, obedience azas, guiding and motivating, innovative, hard-working, caring, discipline and honesty, clean culture, good relationships, knowledgeable, and so on. The obstacles in the development of madrasah culture are more dominant in difficulty in applying discipline perfectly. Discipline will be difficult to manifest without awareness of each individual. Therefore, the headmaster always seeks to have discipline always enforced and forward through the consciousness of the residents of the madrasah for his responsibilities in carrying out duties in the madrasah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and examine the influence of learning management and learning motivation to learning outcomes of students in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah Borongganjeng, Bulukumba Regency. This research is classified as quantitative research with the ex post facto method. Respondents in this study as many as 38 learners taken randomly from 127 students. The data collection techniques used are polls and documentation, whereas the analytical techniques used to examine hypotheses are inferential statistics through regression analysis. The results of this study show that partially, the management of learning has a positive and significant impact on student’s learning outcomes of 10.8% and 89.2% is determined by other factors, as well as the motivation to learn positive influences and of student learning outcomes of 14.2% and 85.8% is determined by other factors. However, the learning management and learning motivation jointly positively affects the student's learning outcomes of 14.9%, but not significant.

Abstract

The relationship between parents and children will influence the communication of children with parents, if children and parents are less familiar, it will automatically have an impact with passive communication, so it will make parents difficult to control the development of the child. The study aims to determine the social attitudes of children, parental communication with children, and factors that influence the problem of parental communication on the social attitudes of children in the Jakabaring OPI Palembang Complex. Research Subjects were Parents and Children in the Jakabaring OPI Complex. The research method is qualitative with the design of research phenomena with methods of structured observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis Using descriptive includes reduction, display and verification. The results of the study are as follows: The attitudes and social behavior of children in the housing complex environment are still well controlled, only when observed from the side of the relationship with parents and their families tend to be passive and rather arrogant. Children sometimes argue and differ opinions that give rise to the attitude of avoiding the anger of parents, so some of them choose to go out of the house. The pattern of parental communication with children is not consistent with what the parents themselves want. Especially their treatment of children who tend to be authoritarian and too dictating, so children feel depressed and feel completely wrong in doing. Factors that affect the problem of parents communication with children; Psychological atmosphere of communication, parent leadership, language used in communicating with children by parents, children's living environment, and school environment where children spend almost seven hours one day at school.

Abstract

Along with competition between competitive educational institutions, promotion is important to introduce strategies and programs from educational institutions to the wider community so that they are aware of the efforts that will be made by educational institutions for the advancement of their children. It is undeniable that promotion activities have more or less influenced the stabilization of people's choices for educational institutions. The approach used is a mix method by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires are used to get quantitative data related to the type of promotion and media used by the campus, while interviews get qualitative data to strengthen quantitative data or add data that is not revealed to quantitative data. The data source is the campus in the city of Palembang, students, alumni, and the community in the province of South Sumatra. The results showed 100% of universities in Palembang conducted direct promotions and advertisements, while the results of the questionnaire to related new students who influenced them in choosing tertiary institutions showed that under 10% of campus direct promotions, 20% were advertisements, and 70% others. Another dimension here is the influence of students, alumni, and parents / guardians.
