Abstract

This study aims to describe women's perception in Lahat city about the concept of gender equality and gender equality (KKG) in the social and cultural realm of society in Merapi Selatan sub-district of Lahat district. This research uses qualitative-phenomenological method. The subject of the study was not determined according to the data requirement. Data collection was done by observation method and. The results can be summarized as follows: (1) the role of farmer's wife in Merapi Selatan sub-district in economic improvement concentrated in agriculture sector. The demands of the wives to meet the family's needs are the same as for men, so they not only stay home to wait and spend their husbands' income from rice fields, kawean (coffee plantations) but also engage in making a living. either through arian (working with pay per day). (2) The participation of wives in improving family welfare in Merapi Selatan sub-district is manifested in three roles both in home environment, in economy, and in society. The role of housewives in South Merapi district because they have to do household chores and supplies for husbands against rice and kawean. They must complete all duties as mothers and wives who are naturally responsible for them and help make a living.

Abstract

The phenomenon of schools to maintain quality by adopting the principle that the quality of student input affect the realization of outcomes. They fall into their trap dimensional thinking on the concept of school excellence. It is, become fairness if done by private schools and to be a mistake when adopted by public schools, which is a manifestation of the state to ensure that all citizens receive a quality education. Education is a process of humanizing, so the school should receive multi character and abilities of children. The concept of such schools, upholds the differences that each child has kamampuan and different skills. The concept that gives equal opportunities to everyone to develop in accordance with each individual, so that in the process of input they receive children who are seen as the poor or low ability. Schools do ripening cultures growing quality of learners in ways that liberates learners from ignorance, helplessness, dishonesty, incompetence, and of bad character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas I (satu) sampai dengan kelas VI (enam), guru olahraga, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, beberapa siswa kelas V (lima) dan siswa kelas VI (enam). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin II cenderung kepada gaya kepemimpinan yang demokratis. Hal ini terlihat dari cara kepala sekolah dalam memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan. Dalam memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan selalu dilakukan dengan rapat, diskusi dan musyawarah kepada staf dan guru-guru. Kepala sekolah selalu menerima pendapat, kritik dan saran dari bawahan dengan baik, lapang dada dan iklas serta berpartisipasi aktif dalam setiap kegiatan yang ada di sekolah. Selain itu, kepala sekolah selalu mengembangkan dan mengutamakan rasa persatuan dan kesatuan seperti kebersamaan dan kekompakan.

Abstract

Vision and mission are the ultimate goals that serve as guidelines for the activity of study programs and can be used as a basis for the strength of services. However, many study programs only make the vision and mission only available, but do not become meaningful guidelines for the implementation of education. This study aims to describe and analyze the leadership of students in achieving their vision and mission. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection methods used were interviews, field observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that leadership is full of openness so that the relationships that are established are very harmonious, harmonious and mutually supportive. The leadership of the study program in an effort to achieve the vision and mission of the study program is carried out by building individual expectations into a shared vision, making development priorities with indicators of achievement, building achievement motivation, increasing participation, and building partnerships with various parties.

Abstract

The development of teacher professionalism is in the spotlight of today's world. This is due to the changing paradigm of education as a consequence of the development of the times and challenges of education. This paper aims to provide an overview and understanding of the importance of changing old patterns in developing a teacher's professional. Monotonous and centralistic coaching and training is no longer relevant to use for the present. One of the new methods that deserve to be practiced as a form of teacher professional development is through in-house training. A method that puts forward collaborative, contextual and constructivist approaches so that the value of its benefits is more clearly felt by teachers.

Abstract

Along with competition between competitive educational institutions, promotion is important to introduce strategies and programs from educational institutions to the wider community so that they are aware of the efforts that will be made by educational institutions for the advancement of their children. It is undeniable that promotion activities have more or less influenced the stabilization of people's choices for educational institutions. The approach used is a mix method by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires are used to get quantitative data related to the type of promotion and media used by the campus, while interviews get qualitative data to strengthen quantitative data or add data that is not revealed to quantitative data. The data source is the campus in the city of Palembang, students, alumni, and the community in the province of South Sumatra. The results showed 100% of universities in Palembang conducted direct promotions and advertisements, while the results of the questionnaire to related new students who influenced them in choosing tertiary institutions showed that under 10% of campus direct promotions, 20% were advertisements, and 70% others. Another dimension here is the influence of students, alumni, and parents / guardians.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept of educational planning for rural communities in Lahat district. This research is a qualitative qualitative research. Research subjects are rural people who will, are, and after sending their children to school. The data technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data collection. To maintain the validity of the data in the presentation, analysis was carried out with triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that there are 4 important elements in educational planning in rural communities, namely the choice of place and department, children's academic ability, parents' financial ability, educational goals, and study time. These four elements influence each other in rural community education planning.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the recruitment of educators and the factors that influence the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal Palembang. This study uses a type of research that is qualitative. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal has been going well. This can be seen from (1) Planning for recruitment of educators (2) Dissemination of announcements for recruitment of educators (3) Acceptance of applications for prospective educators. (4) Selection: a) applicant selection system holding interviews and filling out forms, b) applicant selection process, the committee screens applicants such as looking at educational background, experience, and desired position. c) Applicant selection method, the school conducts the interview method. The supporting factors for the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal Palembang are: a) facilities, b) cooperation between teams, c) human resources. Factors inhibiting the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal Palembang, namely: lack of coordination.

Abstract

Abstract: This article is entitled the role of the madrasa head as a leader at Mts Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. The source of data used by researchers in this study was obtained from MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. This article focuses on the role of the madrasah principal as a leader in mobilizing, directing, guiding, setting an example, and providing encouragement to teachers & staff, as well as students at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method by using data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed and presented again or data is reduced and then presented and then drawn conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the madrasah principal at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang carries out its role as a leader, by providing results in the form of achieving the vision and mission, activities that are ready to help teacher performance and encouragement of motivation for all madrasah residents by increasing the achievement and existence of educational institutions, adding facilities and infrastructure. madrasas and be a role model for all madrasa residents by applying discipline in time and in dress and behavior. The head of the madrasa is very influential in his role as a leader at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang because the leader is a leadership that influences members with various roles that must be applied in everyday life.Keywords: madrasah principal, leaderAbstrak: Artikel ini berjudul peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader di Mts Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Sumber data yang digunakan peneliti pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Adapun artikel ini berfokus pada peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam menggerakan, mengarahkan, membimbing, memberi teladan, serta memberi dorongan kepada guru & staff, serta siswa di MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode peneltian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan disajikan kembali atau direduksi data lalu disajikan kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya kepala madrasah di MTs Muhammadiyah  1 Palembang  melaksanakan perannya sebagai leader, dengan memberikan  hasil berupa pencapaian visi misi, kegiatan yang siap membantu kinerja guru serta dorongan motivasi untuk seluruh warga madrasah dengan peningkatan prestasi dan eksistensi lembaga pendidikan, penambahan sarana dan prasarana madrasah serta menjadi teladan bagi seluruh warga madrasah dengan menerapkan disiplin waktu dan dalam berpakaian maupun bersikap. Kepala madrasah sangatlah berpengaruh dalam perannya sebagai leader di MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang karena leader merupakan kepemimpinan yang sifatnya mempengaruhi anggota dengan berbagai macam peran yang harus diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: Kepala Madrasah, leader

Abstract

This study reviews strategies related to improving the quality of graduates at SMAN 1 Semende Darat Laut. The purpose of this research is to find out the strategies for improving the quality of graduates from public senior high schools in South Sumatra and the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of graduates. In this study, the type of research used was qualitative research in which the main source of informants was the school principal. The supporting informants were the deputy heads of student affairs and teachers. The data obtained by the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the strategy to improve the quality of public high school graduates in South Sumatra has been going quite well. This can be seen from the strategy implemented, namely an increase in teacher competence, additional learning programs, improvement of sarpas, and extracurricular development. The supporting factors include: establishing good communication between leaders and subordinates, motivation to support continuing education, teachers are all undergraduates, while the inhibiting factors are lack of funds, lack of facilities and infrastructure to support graduation programs, and lack of time in extracurricular activities.
