Abstract

The percentage of non-profit organization revenue allocation to program expense beside administratif expense is an indicator of organizational performance. This research aims to test the organizational characteristik of non-profit organization on  its performance. The samples consist of 9 non-profit organizations in Indonesia based on its financial statement from 2007 to 2010. Testing was conducted through a simple regression analysis and a regression intervening with the size of the organization as the intervening variable. The results shows that the organization’s reputation has significant and positive effect toward the size of the organization but negative effect towards the performance of organizations. The size of organization (total revenue and total assets) have significant and negative effect on the performance of non-profit organizations. The total revenues and total assets mediate perfectly the relationship between organization’s age and the performance of non-profit organization.

Abstract

The impact of supermarkets (including hypermarkets) on the existence of traditional markets has recently become a topic of heated public debate. According to anumber of circles, the traditional markets are the most affected by the impact of competition from the supermarkets. Many people believe that the presence of modern markets, especially supermarkets and hypermarkets, is pushing urban traditionalmarkets into a corner. The superiority of modern over traditional markets lies in the fact that the former can sell the same products at lower prices, in addition to the comfort and different payment options they offer shoppers. Furthermore, the supermarkets and hypermarkets establish business links with large suppliers, usually for an extended period of time. This enables them to operate efficiently, benefitting fromthe economies of scale. Supermarkets adopt a number of pricing and non-pricing strategies to attract customers such as price limits, predatory pricing, and intertemporal price discrimination, for example, discounts at the end of the week and at certain other times. Their non-pricing strategies include advertising, longer opening hours (especially on weekends), bundling or tying (combined purchases), and free parking.

Abstract

This Research aim to know influence change of Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Investment, Return On Equity, Inventory Turn Over, Total of Asset Turn Over, and Earning to share price change either through together and or partial as well as to know change of finance ratio which having biggest influence to share price changeIn this research formulation of problem by researcher focused at what is change of Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Investment, Return On Equity, Inventory Turn Over, Total Asset Turn Over and Earning have influence to share price change, either through partial and or by together and from some the finance ratio, change of ratio which having biggest influence to share price change. The hypothesis is H1 : anticipated change of Current Ratio variable, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Investment, Return On Equity, Inventory Turn Over, Total Asset Turn Over and Earning have influence to Share price change by partial. H2 : anticipated change of Current Ratio variable, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Investment, Return On Equity, Inventory Turn Over, Total  Asset Turn Over and Earning have influence to Share price change by together. H3 : anticipated change of Earning variable represent variable having dominant influence to Share price change from other variable.The result of analysis show by using pooling data to analyses factor influencing KI Manufacture share price change in BEJ during period 2002 till 2005, with amount of n = 240, seen that PEPS variable, PITO, PTATO individually (evaluated from t value count) and is significant influence to share price change (PHS). Hereinafter PEPS variable represent most variable of significant influence share price change.

Abstract

Time goes rapidly and competition is getting tougher. It demands employees to give high performance in order to exceed work standard determined by the company. work system innovation in banking companies provide stimuli for employees both from basic employees to management level to always be active in and have advantages in understanding the job desk. Extra ordinary behavior, which is usually called. Organizational Citizenship Behavior, is expected to change mindset where employees do not only master one ability, but several abilities or skills beyond their job description. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Distributive and Procedural Justice on OCB through Job satisfaction. This research is descriptive and verivicative analysis. Descriptive research was conducted to obtain a description of Distributive Justice, Procedural Justice, Job satisfaction, and OCB. While verivicative research is done to know the relationship between variables through the calculation - statistical calculation. The method used is survey method. While the sampling technique is Saturated / Census Samples with 65 respondents. Data analysis in this study using the analysis of PLS (Partial Least Square) and found that the Distributive Justice, Procedural Justice has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction that impact on OCB. There are several researchers who have researched OCB from a human resource point of view. Contribution of this research is to help managers to formulate strategies and policy implementation related to the proper management of Human Resources And create new Human Resources with all the best ability to play an extra role in doing the job.

Abstract

The research examined the impact relation conflict with the setting of high shool institution namely the University Muhammadiyah of Surakarta. The objective was to analyze whether the variable of worker behavioral attributes model of relation conflict consisting of miscommunication, naïve realism, intervence, faulty attribution, disagreement and negative emotion significantly affecting the work motivation.  The sampling as many as 48 persons was taken by using purposive method. They comprised the managers whose qualifications were as workers of administration unit in university. From the 48 persons taken as samples through questioner sheets, 40 questioner sheets were returned but one of them was damaged. Therefore, there were only 38 questioner sheets which were valid to be analyzed. The result of regression analysis by using the instrument called the program SPSS showed that miscommunication and negative emotion significantly negative affecting the work of motivation.  The naïve realism has effect positively significant toward work of motivation. Whereas the others variable such as naive realism, intervence, faulty attribution, disagreement have not effect negatively  significant toward the work of motivation.

Abstract

This research is aimed to respond that competition in industries is not only the emulationamong company but absolutely supply chain. It is expected to give some benefits information forsome companies to decide the most effective integration method to serve the suppliers andcustomers. By having the best approach of the supplier and customer facing, the company isexpected to be more competitive and to have better performance and competence. This study isdesigned deeply to describe the patterns of the supply chain integration (direction and degree) onthe company and to know the influence of the implementation of the supply chain integration onthe company performance. The population of this research is taken from the services industries inSurakarta by a purposive sampling. The data will be analyzed with descriptive analysis andMann-Whitney test. They are found that the companies have tree major supply chain integrationpatterns such as inward, consumer and periphery facing. The result also shows the significanteffect of supply chain integration on the company performance

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, advertising, and variety seeking on brand switching. The samples in this study were students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, amounting to 100 respondents . Sampling technique in this study was the purposive sampling and convenience sampling. Data analysis method used is normality test and test multiple linear regression analysis with t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R). In this study meets the data for normal distribution. Hypothesis test showed that the quality of products and variety seeking has significant influence with t respectively 6.869 and 3.846, while no ads variables have a significant effect evidenced by the t value of -0.970. In the F test showed that together thevariable quality of the product, advertising, and variety seeking significant effect on brand switching. Abstract

The basic aim of this research is to examine the effect of information technologyon quality management. Sample of this research take place in 5 travel agentcompanies, 2 membership card companies, 4 education companies, and 3manufactures companies that used internet and website design for promoting theirproduct and services. In analyzing the data, researcher used paired sample t test.The result indicates there are significant relationship among used of informationtechnology and not used an information technology. That’s like a t heory said thatinformation technology gives a positive effect to company especially in qualitymanagement.The findings obtained in this research are expected could be used as asupplement reference for company, especially for specific company that willimplicated information technology.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of an implementation of green marketing strategies and consumer characteristics on product choice decision. Implementation of green marketing strategies such as: product, price, promotion, and distribution channel. The characteristics of consumer such as: consumer awareness, and gender. The research sample is 100 AMDK consumers in Surakarta taken by using purposive sampling technique. Many variables measured by using a Likert scale, exception for variable of gender and product choice decision. To determine the effect of product, price, promotion, distribution channel, consumer awareness, and gender variables on products choice decision used logistic regression analysis. Based on data analysis, product (B = 2,489), price (B = -3,278), and distribution (B = 2,882), and gender (B = -4161) significantly effect on AMDK product choice decision. While the promotion (B = -0,313) and consumer awareness (B = 1,861) not significantly effect on AMDK product choice decision.

Abstract

Purpose of the research is to know how entrepreneur takes an attitude in conducting a successionof entrepreneur generation; to know the relationshipbetween the entrepreneurs characteristics and entrepreneurs’ attitudes towards succession of generations of entrepreneurs. Based on the research and analysis, it was obtained distribution of frequency of six attitudes in succession of entrepreneur generation, where 78.57 percent wanted regeneration with took the attitude of giving freedom for his/her successes in choosing a job or a profession. The entrepreneurs have taken the different attitude in conducting the succession of entrepreneur generation. The result of chi-square test showed a relationship between age and entrepreneur attitude. The characteristic has a significant relationship with entrepreneur attitude in the succession of entrepreneur generation. The characteristic has a significant relationship with entrepreneur attitude in the succession of entrepreneur generation.
