Abstract

This research aims was to figure out user’s satisfaction index towards this public service toward Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). BPS is a non-ministry government institution implements the bureaucracy reform, and provides comprehensive, accurate, and sophisticated statistics in order to create a System of National Statistics. The data analysis technique for this research is Users (people who once used The Central Bureau of Statistic Service) Satisfaction Index, counted through weighted average values of some service elements based on Number 63/KEP/M.PAN/7/2003. Among the 120 users of The Central Bureau of Statistics, this research shows that The Satisfaction Index reaches 75.31 (good), but it still need to be improved remember there are some indicators showing a not quite good Performance Index. Totally 20 out of 24 indicators are categorized into ‘good service’, while the other fours indicator need to be enhanced and improved.

Abstract

Electronic service (e-service) via a web channel is one of the options that many companies use to provide service and support to customers. E-service is becoming increasingly important not only in determining the success or failure of electronic commerce, but also in providing consumers with a superior experience with respect to the interactive flow of information. The purpose of this paper is to review research and is to gather conceptual perspectives on the role and nature of e-service, and the e-service experience. Recent advances in technology have created a surge in technology-based self-service or e-service, and there is an increasing recognition of its role in differentiation and customer interfaces. In order to understand e-service experiences it is necessary to go beyond studies of e-service quality dimensions and to also take into account the inherent characteristics of e-service delivery and the factors that differentiate one service experience from another. The paper reviews the factors that impact on the nature of the e-service experience, taking a wider perspective than that adopted by many researcher on e-service when they focus on the identification of the dimensions of e-service quality. In order to manage the e-service experience it is important to develop a clear articulation of the nature, boundaries, components and elements of specific e-service experiences, and to further investigate the interaction between these factors and service quality dimensions.

Abstract

This research was intended to analysis factor that affect demand of the Indomie instant noodle inKartasura, Grogol and Sukoharjo districts of Sukoharjo Regency, the result of the study could indicatethat the Indomie instant noodle was kind of luxury, normal, or inferior goods. The result of analysisindicated that Indomie instant noodle was normal goods in three districts of Sukoharjo Regency basedon income elasticity; whereas own price elasticity of demand indicated the demand of Indomie noodle wasinelasticity for Kartasura, Grogol, Sukoharjo districts. The cross price elasticity of demand indicatedsubstitute commodity or complementary commodity for Indomie and related commodity in three districtsof Sukoharjo Regency. This research recomendation that increasing price of Indomie for districts whichthe demand of Indomie instant noodle was elasticity to get high revenue total, whereas for districts whichthe demand of Indomie instant noodle, was inelasticity to growing up marketing, means to increasequantity buying if Indomie instant noodle it is important to applaied decreasing price.

Abstract

The aimed of this study is to analyze the achievement of technical efficiency in smallbusinesses. The input factors that were analyzed are capital and worker, while the output factor is theproduct of the firm. Analysis using stochastic frontier. The result of analysis of technical efficiencyshow that the achievement of technical efficiency of enterprises of the study sample was quite goodcategory. While the returns to scale the firms are decreasing returns to scale (DRS). The role of capitaland worker aspects have little effect on improving the company’s production on the overall studysample. If the capital increase of 1% will be able to raise production by 0193%. whereas if there is theaddition of 1% of workers will increase production by 0005%. Based on the stochastic frontiertechnical efficiency analysis of each sub-sector that the handicraft sub-sector efficiency is highest.

Tourism sector represent important component in economics. Tourism sectorpotency Indonesia that owns of a number of tourism assets, especially cultural tourism. Abstract

The purpose of Indonesian fiscal decentralization that started on 2001 is focus on the local government development. Fiscal decentralization is believed to createpublic servicesefficiency on local government. Furthermore, fiscal decentralization ensure the local budget (APBD) is spent to develop health and education sectors as these sectors are part of basic needs. This study aims to examine how fiscal decentralization influence to the local educational development in term of literacy rate (AMH) and school enrolment rate (APS). This study uses data based on the kabupaten/kota over Central Java Province in the periods of 2010 – 2011. This study also uses linear regression with non-probability sampling as there is 35 kabupaten/kota each year uses for population and sample in this study.  Result shows that fiscal decentralization has an influence to AMH and APS based on the data from kabupaten/kota in Central Javain the periods of 2010 -2011. Thus, it could be conclude that local governments (kabupaten/kota) in Central Java Province have used local revenue to provide public education services specifically in improving literacy and school enrolment rate for 7-15th year students.

Abstract

The problems concerning to the ethics in auditing profession is closely related to the values of the individuals involving in the profession. The study aimsat finding empirical evidences whether there is the difference in the specific values of the female and male students of accounting. The results of the analysisof independent sample t-test indicate that there is the difference in specific values between the female and male students of accounting. In other words, the gender gives impact to the difference in the specific values of the male students of accounting. Further analysis indicates that in fact the difference in the  specificvalues is caused by the presence of the impact of gender on the aesthetic values, while individual, social and theoretical values between the female and male students of accounting are the same or do not have any impact on the individual,social and theoretical values.

Abstract

Abstrak : Local food can be a competitive advantage to develop the region by utilizing existing natural resources. Meranti and Bengkalis regencies in Riau province have a great opportunity to develop regional competitive advantage. The purpose of this study is to develop strategies for developing competitive advantage through local food. The object of this study was all local MSMEs in Meranti and Bengkalis Regency who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using IFAS and EFAS analysis and SWOT 8K analysis. The results of this study found several options for developing regional competitive advantage strategies, namely stabilization strategies. Abstraksi : Makan lokal daerah dapat menjadi keunggulan bersaing untuk mengembangkan daerahnya dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam yang ada. Kabupaten Meranti dan Bengkalis di provinsi Riau memiliki peluang yang besar untuk mengembangkan keunggulan bersaing daerahnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyusun strategi pengembangan keunggulan bersaing melalui makanan lokal daerah. Objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelaku UMKM makan lokal di Kabupaten Meranti dan Kabupaten Bengkalis yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis IFAS dan EFAS serta analisis SWOT 8K. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa pilihan strategi pengembangan keunggulan bersaing daerah yaitu strategi stabilisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of in the learning orientation , commitment, the influence of human capital  on the performance of organization , the influence of commitment to human resource performance and increase in performance of organization in the context of environmental adaptability.The sampling method is purposive sampling and the number of samples is 120. The data analysis technique in this study used the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) of the software package AMOS 4.0The study shows that when the orientation of the higher learning, the higher the commitment of human resources, if the orientation of the higher learning, the higher the intensity of human capital., When the commitment to the consensus of the higher, the higher the intensity of human capital, Human capital When the higher, the more high-performance organization, the context of high social capital moderates the structure of the equation that makes human capital influence on organizational performance

Abstract

Brand loyalty or customer loyalty is an important concept for many companies that can bring many benefits to companies, such as repeat purchases and brand recommendations to others, who then can reduce marketing costs. Trust in the brand is important and is a major factor in the development of brand loyalty. Along with the development of industry, entertainment, information and technology, style of fashion becomes a medium to demonstrate the existence of a person in the community. By following certain fashion, people can show their true identity. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Self Concept Connection, Brand Love, Brand Trust and Brand Image on the increase Brand Loyalty.The focus of this study object is HM brand in Jakarta region. The data used in this study were gathered by spreading the questionnaires to users who have purchased the HM brand is more than one time. This study used convinience sampling as a sampling technique and obtained 158 respondend and this data processed into this study result. This study uses SEM analyze to test the data.
