Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors associated with anemia in breastfeeding mothers in agricultural areas. This type of research used analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was 50 breastfeeding mothers who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument consisted of informed consent, Questionnaire, Semi Quantitative-Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), easy touch GCHb, nutrition application and data processing software. The statistical test used was the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the proportion of anemia in breastfeeding mothers was 50%. The results of the Chi-Square test showed that there was no significant relationship between hydration, micronutrient intake, exposure to cigarette smoke, tea intake, and physical activity with anemia in breastfeeding mothers (p>0.05). However, there was a relationship between family income and anemia in breastfeeding mothers (p=0.004, p<0.05). Factors related to the incidence of anemia in breastfeeding mothers in agricultural areas are family income. The community is expected to be able to control the factors that can affect anemia in breastfeeding mothers. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis faktor–faktor yang berhubungan dengan anemia ibu menyusui di daerah pertanian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 50 ibu menyusui yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari inform consent, kuesioner recall aktivitas fisik, form Semi Quantitative-Food Frequency Questionaire (SQ-FFQ), easy touch GCHb, aplikasi nutrisurvey, dan perangkat lunak pengolah data. Uji statistik yang digunakan uji Chi-Square.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proporsi anemia pada ibu menyusui sebesar 50%. Hasil Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara hidrasi, asupan mikronutrien, paparan asap rokok, asupan teh, dan aktivitas fisik dengan anemia pada ibu menyusui (p>0,05). Namun, terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan keluarga dengan anemia ibu menyusui (p=0,004, p<0,05). Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia ibu menyusui di daerah pertanian adalah pendapatan keluarga. Bagi masyarakat diharapkan dapat melakukan pengendalian faktor – faktor yang dapat memengaruhi anemia pada ibu menyusui.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the estimated combined effect of Fe tablet consumption on the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. The research design used was Meta-analysis. The literature was searching from Pub-Med and Google Scholar articles. The article criteria were: (1) articles which published in 2017-2022; (2) articles with research conducted in Indonesia; (3) articles which can be downloaded full-tex; (4) articles with case control and cross-sectional studies; (5) articles with available Odd Ratio data. The searching keywords used were "anemic OR anemia"; "Fe tablets OR blood added tablets"; "remaja putri OR adolescent girls". Tracing articles process was presented in the PRISMA diagram. The data were then analyzed using Review Manager software Version of 5.4 with random effect analysis model. An average of 41% of adolescent girls showed to have anemia; an average of 43.5% of adolescent girls do not adhere to the consumption of Fe tablets. The results of the meta-analysis on 16 articles found Adjusted Odds Ratio (ORa) value = 6.94 (95% CI = 3.17-15.22; p< 0.0001). It is concluded that the adherence to the consumption of Fe tablets can prevent anemia in adolescent girls in Indonesia. Efforts are needed to increase the scope of consumption of Fe tablets through promotive and preventive efforts. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui estimasi efek gabungan pengaruh kepatuhan konsumsi tablet Fe terhadap pencegahan anemia pada remaja putri. Desain penelitian menggunakan meta-analisis. Penelusuran literatur ilmiah dilakukan dari artikel Pubmed dan Google Scholar. Kriteria artikel adalah: (1) artikel yang dipublikasikan tahun 2017-2022; (2) Artikel yang penelitiannya dilakukan di Indonesia; (3) artikel dapat diunduh fulltext; (4) desain penelitian menggunakan studi case control dan cross-sectional; (5) tersedia data Odd Ratio (OR). Kata kunci pencarian artikel adalah “anemis or anemia”, “Fe tablet or tablet tambah darah” “adolesencce girl or remaja putri”. Proses penelurusan artikel disajikan dalam diagram PRISMA. Analisis data menggunakan software Review Manager Versi 5.4 dengan model analisis random effect. Rata-rata 41% remaja putri mengalami anemia, rata-rata 43,5% remaja putri tidak patuh konsumsi tablet Fe. Hasil meta-analisis pada 16 artikel menemukan nilai Odds Rasio Adjusted (ORa)= 6,94 (95% CI= 3,17-15,22; p< 0,0001). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepatuhan konsumsi tablet Fe dapat mencegah anemia pada remaja putri di Indonesia. Peningkatan cakupan konsumsi tablet Fe sangat diperlukan, terutama melalui upaya promotif dan preventif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding red guava on antioxidant activity, crude fiber content and sensory characteristics of green okra pudding. This reseasrch was a true experimental study with a completely randomized design (CRD). Four comparative formulations (okra:guava) were used, P0 (100% : 0%; as control), P1 (75% : 25%), P2 (50% : 50%), P3 (25% : 75%). The research was conducted with six replications. The antioxidant activity was tested using DPPH assay; the crude fiber level was conducted with a gravimetric method; while the sensory characteristic was done by hedonic test. The data were analyzed using One Way Anova (Parametric) and Friedman (Non-Parametric). The results showed that green okra pudding with red guava had an effect on antioxidant activity (p<0.05), crude fiber content (p<0.05), hedonic quality (taste, color, texture, aroma) and hedonic taste scale, color and aroma were significant (p<0.05), while texture had no significant effect (p>0.05). The best treatment using the Bayes method is the P3 formulation with a ratio of 25% okra and 75% red guava. The highest antioxidant activity was 32.59% and the highest crude fiber content was 6.24%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan jambu biji merah terhadap aktivitas antioksidan, kadar serat kasar, dan karakteristik sensori puding okra hijau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian true experimental, Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), empat formulasi perbandingan antara okra dengan jambu biji, yaitu P0 (kontrol 100% : 0%), P1 (75% : 25%), P2 (50% : 50%), P3 (25% : 75%) dan enam kali ulangan. Analisis aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH, kadar serat kasar dengan metode gravimetri, dan karakteristik sensori dengan uji mutu hedonik. Analisis statistika menggunakan uji Anova (Parametrik) dan Friedman (Non Parametrik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puding okra hijau dengan jambu biji merah memiliki pengaruh terhadap aktivitas antioksidan (p<0,05), kadar serat kasar (p<0,05), mutu hedonik (rasa, warna, tekstur, aroma) dan skala hedonik rasa, warna dan aroma yang signifikan (p<0,05), sedangkan tekstur tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan (p>0,05). Perlakuan terbaik menggunakan metode Bayes yaitu formulasi P3 dengan perbandingan 25% okra dan 75% jambu biji merah. Aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi 32,59% dan kadar serat kasar tertinggi 6,24%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reduce the blood pressure by administering a combination of sweet starfruit and sweet orange juice to state civil servants at the library and archives service in Bengkulu province. The study was conducted in January-February 2023. The design used in this research is Pre-Experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The treatment given was a combination of 200 grams of sweet starfruit juice and 50 grams of sweet orange given for 7 consecutive days. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed that there was a significant difference ( P= 0.001) for systolic blood pressure and 0.004 for diastolic blood pressure. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the direction and strength of the relationship between nutritional status, sodium intake and fiber intake on systolic and diastolic blood pressure. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study approach. The research was conducted in November 2020 at the UPT Puskesmas Jombang, South Tangerang City with 100 adult respondents aged 36-45 years who were selected using the Purposive Sampling Technique. Data collection used data analysis tools using the Pearson Correlation test. The results of the correlation test of nutritional status, sodium, and fiber intake on systolic have a p value of 0.096; 0.912; 0.054 and has an r value of 0.162; 0.193; 0.011. The results of the correlation test analysis of nutritional status, sodium and fiber intake on diastole have a p value of 0.058; 0.250; 0.074. Nutritional status, sodium and fiber intake have no correlation with systolic and diastolic blood pressure. More in depth studies at the molecular level are needed to identify in more detail the risk factors for hypertention in the adult group. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui arah dan kekuatan hubungan status gizi, asupan natrium, dan asupan serat terhadap tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan pada November 2020 di UPT Puskesmas Jombang Kota Tangerang Selatan dengan jumlah responden dewasa berusia 36-45 tahun sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan uji Korelasi Pearson. Hasil uji korelasi status gizi, asupan natrium, dan serat terhadap sistolik memiliki nilai p yaitu 0,096; 0,912; 0,054 serta memiliki nilai r yaitu 0,162; 0,193; 0,011. Hasil analisis uji korelasi regresi status gizi, asupan natrium, dan serat terhadap diastolik memiliki nilai p yaitu 0,058; 0,250; 0,074. Status gizi, asupan natrium, dan serat tidak memiliki korelasi terhadap tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Diperlukan kajian lebih dalam hingga ke tingkat molekuler untuk mengidentifikasi lebih detail faktor resiko hipertensi pada kelompok dewasa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the organoleptic test results of Rhodomyrtus tementosa biscuits, total dietary fiber, and potassium. This research is a laboratory experimental research with a one-factorial RAL (Completely Randomized Design) design, namely the addition of Rhodomyrtus tementosa flour. There were four treatments with two repetitions of laboratory tests and one organoleptic test. The results of the organoleptic test analysis of biscuits with the addition of Rhodomyrtus tementosa flour showed that the preference parameters for color, texture, aroma and taste decreased with the addition of more Rhodomyrtus tementosa. The biscuit results from the selected formulation were P1 biscuits (3.73) with the addition of 25% Rhodomyrtus tementosa flour. Based on the results of the total dietary fiber and potassium test, it was found that there was an increase in the levels of total dietary fiber (17.69%) and potassium (157.73%) in Rhodomyrtus tementosa biscuits (P1) compared to the control (P0). Biscuits with the addition of Rhodomyrtus tementosa flour could be an alternative food product that is high in dietary fiber and high in potassium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji organoleptik dari biskuit karamunting terpilih, total serat pangan dan kalium. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen laboratorium dengan rancangan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) satu faktorial yaitu penambahan tepung buah karamunting. Terdapat empat perlakuan dengan dua kali pengulangan uji laboratorium dan satu kali uji organoleptik. Hasil analisis uji organoleptik dari biskuit dengan penambahan buah karamunting dari parameter kesukaan warna, tekstur, aroma dan rasa semakin menurun dengan semakin banyak penambahan buah karamunting. Hasil biskuit dari formulasi terpilih yaitu biskuit P1 (3,73) dengan penambahan tepung buah karamunting sebanyak 25%. Berdasarkan hasil uji total serat pangan dan kalium didapatkan hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan kadar total serat pangan (17,69%) dan kalium (157,73%) pada biskuit karamunting (P1) dibandingkan dengan kontrol (P0). Biskuit dengan penambahan tepung buah karamunting dapat menjadi alternatif produk pangan yang tinggi serat pangan dan tinggi kalium.
