Abstract

Aim of research is to examine (1) effect of motivation on employee performance in R&D agency in Bandung, (2) effect of work discipline on employee performance in R&D agency in Bandung, and (3) combined effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance in R&D agency in Bandung. Quantitative methods are used in this research. The subjects of this study were 50 employees of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency of the Regency of Bandung. Data was collected by means of questionnaires and analysis was done by means of different linear techniques. The results of this study are (1) if calculation result of t count 7.745> t table value 2.012, Ha is accepted, (2) if calculation result of t count 8.050> t table value 2.2012, Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that work discipline affects the performance of employees and (3) from the hypothesis test where Sig F is obtained at 0.000 <0.05 with F count (65.895) > F table (3.196), then Ha is accepted. To conclude, motivation and work discipline together affect employee performance in Bandung Regency

Abstract

The problems in this study are: (1) Is there an influence of discipline on service quality at the Regional Secretariat of Majalengka Regency, (2) Is there an influence of work skills on service quality at the Regional Secretariat of Majalengka Regency, (3) Is there an influence of discipline and work skills on service quality at the Regional Secretariat of Majalengka Regency. The research method used in this research is the survey method. Through the census, it is intended that all populations are also sampled because the population is limited and allows researchers to examine all populations using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. explore factors that cannot be revealed in the questionnaire. As a result, discipline and work skills have a significant influence on quality, while attendance has a significant influence, and work skills have a significant influence. Then, based on the results of the study, it shows that the discipline variable has a greater influence on service quality at the Regional Secretariat of Majalengka Regency than the work ability variable. Thus, both discipline and work skills have an influence on service quality at the Regional Secretariat of Majalengka Regency

Abstract

The Staffing and Training Agency of South Lampung Regency is one of the local government organizations providing staffing services in general. These services are aimed at serving employees and a small part of the community who need information related to staffing and training. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to find out how the quality of service provided by this agency affects service recipients. Analyzed with gap analysis, satisfaction level analysis, and importance-performance analysis, this study describes service quality in terms of five dimensions, namely physical evidence reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of the importance-performance analysis show that there are six indicators that fall into Quadrant A to be concentrated on improving services, nine indicators in Quadrant B, four indicators in Quadrant C, and four indicators in Quadrant D. The quality of service of the South Lampung Regency Civil Service and Training Agency is seen from the five dimensions: the empathy dimension of the service agency has the highest level of satisfaction, namely 95.28%, and the physical display dimension has the lowest level of satisfaction, namely 80.63%. In a row from the highest level of satisfaction to the lowest level of satisfaction, namely the dimensions of empathy, responsiveness, assurance, reliability, and physical appearance.

Abstract

The problems of this study were: (1) Does organisational culture affect the performance of the employees in the Protocol Section of the South Lampung Regency Secretariat. (2) Does performance reward affect employee performance in the Protocol Section of South Lampung Regency Secretariat. (3) Does organisational culture and performance reward together affect employee performance in South Lampung Regency Secretariat Protocol Section. The study uses quantitative techniques aimed at discovering the influence of independent and dependent variables and testing the significance of the influence among these variables. In this way, the extent of influence of independent variables on dependent variable is known. The survey technique is used to take samples from the population. Samples are taken that are representative. They are analysed to draw conclusions that can then be generalised to the population. The results show that (1) some organisational culture variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The more conducive (good) organisational culture, the more the performance of employees in the Regional Secretariat Protocol Section South Lampung Regency will improve. (2) The performance allowance variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the RSO. This shows that the better performance allowance in this case, providing compensation and commissions will further improve performance of employees in Regional Secretariat Protocol Section South Lampung Regency. (3) It is also found that organisational culture and performance bonus combine to produce a positive and significant effect on performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyse the effect of organisational culture and learning organisation on organisational performance at Bandar Lampung Customs and Excise. The sample used in this study was 51 respondents from a total population of 145 employees of Bandar Lampung Customs and Excise. The data collection method was obtained directly using a questionnaire to Bandar Lampung Customs and Excise employees. The data in this study were processed using multiple linear regression analysis using the help of the SPSS v 22 programme. The results of this study indicate that: there is a positive and significant effect of organisational culture on organisational performance, there is a positive and significant effect of learning organisation on organisational performance, organisational culture and learning organisation together have a positive and significant effect on organisational performance at Bandar Lampung Customs and Excise. This means that if organisational culture and learning organisation are jointly improved, organisational performance will also improve.

Abstract

The purpose of this research topic is to find out how the Lampung Provincial Government's efforts in building awareness of orderly archives through the implementation of the Lampung Governor Regulation, what are the obstacles faced by the Lampung Provincial Government in its efforts to enforce orderly archives through the implementation of the Lampung Governor Regulation, and how efforts are made by the Lampung Provincial Library and Archives Office, especially the Archival Development and Supervision Division, in overcoming existing obstacles. The method used in this research is the descriptive analysis method. Data was obtained directly from informants using interview and observation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the Lampung Governor Regulation on Guidelines for Maintenance of Dynamic Archives and Archival Supervision has been carried out but is not yet optimal. Based on the results of the study, it indicates that communication related to information received by archive managers has not been well received. This is evidenced by the lack of maximum implementation of dynamic archive maintenance in the regional apparatus and the lack of facilities and infrastructure needed to maintain dynamic archives, both active and inactive.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Village Finance System in the Village Government of Blambangan Umpu District and the factors influencing it. Qualitative research methods were used to accomplish this goal by analyzing the data descriptively. The data collection techniques involved observations, interviews, and documentation. The study revealed that the reporting of village funds implementation could be assessed from various indicators. (1) The available facilities and infrastructure to support the job are suboptimal due to limitations in their capacity to accommodate the work. (2) The process and reporting in the management of village funds by the village government in Blambangan Umpu District, Way Kanan Regency, do not comply with established regulations, rendering the government ineffective in their management. (3) Financial Report on Village Fund Output in Blambangan Umpu District, Way Kanan District, reveals inaccuracies and input errors. Factors affecting financial reporting of village funds comprise of supportive and inhibitory factors. Supporting factors include training and socialization of the village funds system, whereas inhibitory factors comprise of human resources and timeliness issues.
