Abstract

Presence is an important element in carrying out teaching and learning activities in lectures, student attendance is evidence that the student has attended the seminar. Attendance is also an element of student assessment that has been determined by the university. Cheating in attendance that occurred during seminar activities caused injustice among students, so that many students objected to being absent and were then given the same seminar certificate by the lecturer. Certificates are evidence obtained from students attending seminars, as technology develops, E-certificates appear. The method applied in the development of the Electronic Presence and Certification System Using the web-based AES Algorithm using QR code scan technology is a prototype method. Taking this method is to produce applications that suit user needs. With QR Code technology, it will facilitate the process of attendance and checking of e-certificates automatically and computerized and will minimize student cheating in the process of attendance and ownership of e-certificates, because the QR Code will change every meeting. The resulting system has a QR Code scanning feature from existing applications and will be recorded in the database on the server.

Abstract

A hydrometeorological disaster is a disaster that is influenced or its impact is triggered by weather and climate conditions with various parameters. For example, increased rainfall, extreme temperatures, extreme weather such as heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning or lightning, and so on. Hydrometeorological Disaster Early Warning System is a system that serves to provide early warnings for hydrometeorological disasters in the form of pop ups that will be sent via Gmail and also view maps of hydrometeorological disaster prone points and provide information on roads in Palembang that are affected by hydrometeorological disasters. There are also several additional features that have been integrated from the official website Radar.cuacasumsel.com owned by BMKG Palembang. These features include hot spots, 00 UTC Wind analysis, 12 UTC analysis, Rain potential satellite, and Himawari satellite. Where the system can be displayed via a mobile phone or computer that is connected to the internet network through a website in real time based on the Internet of Things. The website will use MYSQL, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, JASON and GIS languages. Keywords: Internet of Thing (IoT), Early Warning System, Gmail, Website, Maps.

Abstract

In this study, designing a mobile web to carry out the process of monitoring air quality levels that is integrated intoa system so that it is able to detect the state of air quality in the area in Palembang. This mobile web uses devices/tools at the BMKG (Meteorolog, Climatology and Geophysics Agency) Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang that can work in real-time with an Internet of Things based platform. This research uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) web development method. The results of this study are a monitoring system designed to automatically detect the state of Particulate Matter 2,5 air quality and then provide notifications to the connected gmail, without time lapse and air quality information data recording which will automatically be displayed in real-time on the user’s smartphone and give an emergency message when it is in the threshold of unhealthy or dangerous. Air quality information can be accessed online via the mobile web anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

Weather is a condition of the air in a place in a short time taken from the results of measurements of weather parameters. In survival, weather conditions play a very important role in all activities. One of the activities that are highly dependent on weather conditions is aviation activities. So in this paper, a monitoring system is designed to monitor the measurement results from the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) or an automatic weather monitoring tool used to monitor the current weather intended for flights at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang. In this study, the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) Monitoring System will be made an android-based website (mobile web) so that it is possible for users to access it anytime and anywhere. The design of this monitoring system uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method, which is an android-based web development system that adds or changes some of the existing systems. This mobile web will display measurement results from the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) and is designed to make it easier for BMKG observers to observe the current weather, whether it is stable or experiencing drastic weather changes. If the graph displayed in this application undergoes a significant change, this application will send a notification to e-mail regarding the current weather conditions.

Abstract

Campus security is a condition that shows that every campus community must feel safe and comfortable. The higher the security level of the campus environment, the lower the risk of loss due to loss of assets or damage to the campus environment. Therefore, a research entitled "Design a Campus Environmental Patrol Monitoring System Using Near Field Communication Android-Based and Web Application." This study uses the method Rapid Application Development (RAD). The results of the development of this monitoring system can facilitate the monitoring of security officers whether they have performed their duties properly and correctly by using technology Near Field Communication. By using the android application to perform the process scanning and the web application makes it easy to monitor the position of security officers using maps. To provide information in real-time,this research was distributed using the Whatsapp Gateway. The test results using Black-Box Testing from the construction of this patrol monitoring system are 100% valid. And the UAT test results are in the range of 60%-79% where the user states "agree" and has fulfilled the user's needs.

Abstract

Since the outbreak of the endemic caused by the Corona virus in Indonesia, many methods have been tried, one of which is conducting remote training and encouraging students to practice from home each time. The use of digital technology in the midst of the COVID-19 endemic has a big contribution to learning institutions by practicing online learning. Students are expected to be able to accept the procedures that have been implemented by the state. However, this condition does not guarantee that students agree or accept this stage. Therefore, measurements are needed to determine the level of student happiness in carrying out online learning. With that in mind, the author conducted an experiment on the ability of the algorithm first, namely the form of grouping with the Naïve Bayes Algorithm and the K-Nearst Neighbor Algorithm. The information used is the basic information, meaning that the information obtained from the results of the questionnaire circulars for students in semester 3(3) semester 5(5) and semester 7(7) amounted to 352 respondents. In the development of the form of the algorithm using the type 9.3 rapid miner tools with the operators used are retrive, multiply, cross validation, Naïve Bayes Algorithm and knn, apply form and performance. The results of the accuracy of the Naïve Bayes Algorithm are 91.45%. The results of the accuracy of the K-Nearst Neighbor Algorithm are 97, 72%. The accuracy of the K-Nearst Neighbor Algorithm is greater than the Nave Bayes algorithm, so it can be concluded that the K-Nearst Neighbor Algorithm has good ability in grouping.

Abstract

Developing areas that have tourism potential is an effort to increase sources of income for villagers. Areas that have tourist areas can be a vehicle that attracts the attention of the public, both domestically and abroad. Tourists who come can provide income for tourist areas or the community. Therefore, predicting the number of incoming tourists can be predicted based on data from previous years. The goal is to make predictions to improve infrastructure and all needs for tourists. The purpose of this study is to apply the Backpropagation method to predict the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia. The dataset used in this study is 6000 lines and is divided into 4800 lines of training data, and 1200 lines of test data. The dataset is taken from the bps website, with the input variables being month, year, country of origin, tourist entrance to Indonesia, and the output variable being the number of tourists. The model of Backpropagation is evaluated by calculating MAE, and the architecture built is 4-9-1, 4 input layer nodes, 9 hidden layer nodes, and 1 output layer node. The test results of the MAE value of the Backpropagation method in predicting the number of tourists to Indonesia are 0.247.

Abstract

Students who registered at STMIK IKMI Cirebon in the last 3 years showed that 51% of applicants were from SMK graduates. Even though he comes from a vocational school, it is still very difficult to understand how to start learning about network operating systems. This is evident from the results of the Network Operating System lectures where only 1-2 people pass in each class. The use of smartphone media is expected to make it easier for lecturers to convey learning material so that the pattern of student center learning activities can run better without knowing time which means that students as learning objects will be able to better understand the material well. This study uses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. This research is divided into 5 stages, namely: the first stage the researcher conducts the analysis, there are two stages of analysis, namely performance analysis and needs analysis, the second stage the researcher makes a system design design which includes learning objectives, assessment instruments, exercises, content, subject matter analysis, lesson planning and media selection, the third stage the researchers began to create a system which includes the activities of making, buying, and modifying teaching materials to achieve the goals of the learning that have been determined, the fourth stage the researcher applies the system that has been created, the data generated in the application will be used for further improvement processes, In the fifth stage, the researcher evaluates the data that can be obtained at the previous stage, whether or not improvements are needed in the system that has been made. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) in this study indicate that the learning media for the smartphone-based network operating system course is quite good because it has a percentage value that is above 70% on average.

Abstract

The high level of busyness in urban areas makes efficiency in using time important. The need to wash a car is often constrained by a little free time. Based on this, the application system design for finding the nearest car wash application quickly and easily was built, so that it can help users save time. The method that will be used in the process of making this application system is using a user centered design. This Speed Wash application system can be used for all circles, especially drivers to get information on car washes based on location, price, rating, and the type of service available on the car wash.
