Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the influence of size, profitability, and growth rate toward capital structure. Our sample includes companies which were belonged to Consumer Goods Industry and Miscellaneous Industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on the year period 2009-2014. We utilize panel data regression analysis and show that the capital structure (proxied by the total debt ratio)of the companies is positively determined by their size (proxied by the total revenue). The results of the analysis also showed that capital structure is also positively determined by profitability (proxied by the return on equity), but negatively determined by their growth rate (proxied by the asset growth rate). These findings are consistent with the previous literature. Key Words: Capital Structure, Debt to Equity Ratio, Panel Data, Indonesia

Abstract

Smart electrecity or prepaid electricity is introduced by PLN as program that has many goals namely; for customer need fulfilment, citizen, and PLN. On the customer level, goal establishment determinants are complex, one of them is customer perceptions on smart electrical fitting performance. This research is aimed at revealing concumer perception on some atributes they are: performance, feature, reliability, conformance, durability, service ability, and perceived quality. Research method use survey that used descriptive and qualitative approach. Research result shows that atributes generally has high score, and highest one is servicisability (4.16). Hence, smart electricity attibutes is perceived good by customers. Future related research on smart electricity is how is the household involevement and communication model that build by PLN to increase the customers. Key Words: Prepaid, KwH, Selfcustom and Region

Abstract

Research purpose is to analyze the influence of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Asset (ROA), Non Performing Loan (NPL) and its implication to credit distribution at commercial banks in Indonesian in the period of 2008-2013 year. This research used path analysis method with substructure model. The result of substructure I indicate that Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non Performing Loan (NPL) have significantly effect to Return On Asset (ROA). The result of substructure II indicates that Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Asset (ROA) and Non Performing Loan (NPL) have significantly effect to credit distribution. Abstract

The research purpose is to examine the effect of work ability and organizational cilmate toward employee performance. Sample is the employee that consist of 99 units which chosen with stratified random sampling techniques. The results shows that work ability and organizational climate is simultaneously effect positively employess performance with determination is 80,1%. Partially, work ability and organizational climate influece significantly. Otherwise, the two variables that have more dominant influence is work ability. In order to increase employee performance, work ability should be increased through training that fit to organizational needs. Furthermore, it is needed to increase intrapersonall relationship to build better organizational climate. Key Words.      DPUKBT, workability, organizational climate, and employee performance

Abstract

The research purpose is; 1) to describe organizational culture, organizational commitment and employee performance, and 2) to analyze the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee performance, both simultaneously and partially. To conduct it, survey is done with sample as many as 73 units were structured questionnaires are used. The result shows that simultaneously, organizational behaviour and organizational commitment effect positively and significantly to employee performance. In relate with this results it is also found R2 is 0,092 (9,2%). Meanwhile, it is known that: 1) organizational culture effect employee performance positively and 2) commitment organization affects employee performance positively.   Key Words. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain workability, organizational commitment and motivation on employee performance. The purpose is also to describe workability, organizational commitment and work motivation. Sample is consisting of 94 employees that chosen with random stratified sampling. Research result shows that the workability, organizational commitment and work motivation simultaneously effect employee performance positively and significantly, with coefficient determination is 56.1%. Partially, workability, organizational commitment and motivation effect employee performance. Furthermore, according to statistical result, workability has more dominant effect. Research recommendation is to implement technical training to increase both employee ability and organizational commitment. Key Words. Abstract

This study purpose is to examine the influence of leadership styles and organizational culture on employee performance. Sample consists of 80 employees. Data collection used a structured questionnaire and applies 5 point Likert scale. The results show that the leadership style and organizational culture simultaneously contributed to the variance of performance as much as 84.5%. Furthermore, partially, the two variables, leadership styles and organizational culture significantly affect the employee performance. Hence, organization should consider improving leadership style and organizational culture simultaneously in order to improve employee performance.   Key Words. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja, untuk menguji pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja pada Pengawas Ketenagakerjaan Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Jambi yaitu sebanyak 45 orang Pengawas Ketenagakarjaan sebagai responden. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah jenis data kuantitatif sedangkan sumber datanya adalah data primer. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis menggunakan Partial Least Square dengan bantuan program SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja, kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan perilaku kepemimpinan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja. Kata kunci: perilaku kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh risiko investasi dan penjaminan emisi terhadap tingkat RBC perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengolahan data Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) dan Robust Least Squares (RLS). Penelitian ini menggunakan data statistik asuransi Indonesia dari Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) pada periode 2016 - Oktober 2020 di 50 perusahaan asuransi jiwa Indonesia sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh risiko investasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan berkorelasi positif terhadap RBC serta pengaruh risiko penjaminan emisi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan berkorelasi negatif terhadap RBC. Penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya bagi perusahaan asuransi untuk memperhatikan risiko investasi dan risiko penjaminan emisi yang berpengaruh terhadap RBC. This study aims to determine the effect of investment risk and underwriting on the RBC level of life insurance companies in Indonesia. The method used in this research is quantitative method, with data processing techniques Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and Robust Least Squares (RLS). This study uses statistical data on Indonesian insurance from Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) in the period 2016 - October 2020 in 50 Indonesia’s life insurance companies as the research sample. The results of this study indicate that the effect of investment risk has a significant and positive correlation to RBC and the effect of underwriting risk has a significant and negative correlation to RBC. This research can improve understanding of the importance for insurance companies to pay attention to investment risks and underwriting risks that affect RBC.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh antara variabel Budaya Organisasi terhadap variabel Organizational Citizenship Behavior dengan variabel Komitmen Organisasi sebagai variabel intervening pada Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran Dan Penyelamatan Kota Jambi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuisioner dengan skala likert terhadap 57 Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) pada Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Jambi. Teknik pengujian data yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, uji R-square dan uji hipotesis dengan boostrapping dengan bantuan PLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap OCB pada pegawai Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Jambi, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi pada pegawai Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Jambi, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap OCB, dan budaya organisasi terhadap OCB melalui komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan pada pegawai Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Jambi.
