Abstract

Development. Planning Board of Jambi City. This study aims to determine how the work motivation of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Jambi City in terms of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The research methodology used in this research is a descriptive analysis using data collection method through questionnaire, documentation, literature study. Respondents in this research are employees of the Regional Development Planning Board of Jambi City. The results of this study indicate that the overall motivation of employees of the Development Planning Agency of Jambi City has been running quite well. The situation is indicated by the percentage of motivation factors that get the response from the employees. From this research, it can be concluded that the employees of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Jambi City are motivated to perform the tasks, although there are several obstacles. Based on this research, it can be mentioned several suggestions to the Development Planning Board of Jambi City to maintain and improve the motivation of their existing employees, enhance the system of Corporate Administration Policy and Supervision to the employees so that they can understand and perform their duties well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a variable products innovation consisting of sub-variables relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, divisibility, and communicability on purchasing decisions on a T-shirt & Souvenir Jakoz outlets in the city of Jambi. This research is a survey using a questionnaire instrument. The samples used were 100 consumer brands Jakoz shirts. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. This study indicates that product innovation (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, divisibility, and communicability) simultaneously influences consumer purchasing decisions in partial compatibility, complexity, divisibility, and communicability influence purchase decisions. In contrast, the relative superiority does not affect the purchase decisions on Jakoz shirt brand products in Jambi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of BUMDES Jernih Jaya in developing the natural tourism object of Rawa Bento, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. Then formulate a strategy for development by minimizing weaknesses and threats, maximizing utilization of opportunities and strengths. Data was collected through literature study, observation, and interviews with stakeholders, namely BUMDES and village heads. The data were analyzed descriptively and then to determine the strategy for developing natural attractions in Bento Swamp. A SWOT analysis was carried out. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the strategy for developing natural attractions in Rawa Bento includes building infrastructure such as road access, transportation means, and accommodation facilities, making tourist attractions and promoting tourism objects, developing tourism products, and involving the community in tourism management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the interest rate of Bank Indonesia and the exchange rate on the stock prices of the coal industry listed on the Indonesian securities exchange for 2014-2017period empirically. Data used in this study are multiple linear analyses and hypotheses. The independent variable is the interest rate of Bank Indonesia. The dependent variable is exchange rates at the coal mining industry stock price for 2014-2017. Data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Indonesian stock exchange (IDX). The testing of the hypothesis in this study was tested using SPSS 23. The results showed that the interest rate of Indonesian banks had an effect of 18.75% and an effective exchange rate of44.22%, with a significant negative impact on the share price of the coal mining industry listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2014- 2017.

Abstract

One of effect the open market is the entry of products originating from abroad, which directly or indirectly can affect the local product of the country. The object of this research is the stationery product, the stationery is chosen because it is one of the products that closest to daily student activities as respondents to this study. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of country of origin price and product quality influence partial or simultaneous in purchasing decision of stationery, and to know what most variable influential to purchasing stationery. Analyze appliance used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression by using the analysis tool is the result of this study is the variable of country of origin and quality partially have a positive and simultaneous influence on the purchasing decision of stationery. While the price variable partially have a positive but not significant effect on the purchasing decision of stationery, if tested simultaneously then country of origin variable of price and quality have positive and significant effect to decision of stationery. For the most influential variable in the purchase of stationery in this study is the quality variable. Based on this research the stationery company besides having to continuously improve the quality of its products also enter the country identity because country of origin which owned by consumer can influence consumer purchasing decision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of multiple role conflicts on the business's success in the Jambi City IPEMI. This research was held at the IPEMI Gallery located on the Kambang River in Jambi City. The population in this study were Muslim women entrepreneurs who were members of the Jambi City IPEMI as many as 613 people. The sample in this study was 86 respondents using the probability sampling method, namely simple random sampling. The dependent variable in this study is multiple role conflict, and the independent variable is business success. This study shows that partially influencing considerable role conflict positively and significantly affects business success.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of financial institution product and service attributes on purchasing decisions of Honda Vario Jambi motorbikes in Jambi City. The sample is 140 users of Honda Vario motorcycles, with the sampling technique used is Purposive sampling. Validity and reliability test results show that the research instrument is valid and reliable. The data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS Version 22 software. The results show that purchasing decisions are influenced by the financial product and service attributes significantly and partially the decision to purchase Honda vario motorcycles in Jambi City is influenced by attributes financial institution products and services. In the discussion, the results of the study showed that the presence of product attributes and services of financial institutions could increase sales of Honda Vario motorcycles. To achieve this level of sales, the company must continue to present superior product attributes and maintain good cooperative relations with financing institutions that provide financial institution services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer preferences in shopping at online shops. The dimensions of the product attribute in this study are Merchandise (always ready goods, various products, items according to photos), customer service (fast delivery of goods, responsive AI chatbot, easy credit process), navigation (good layout, search through filters, easy login), Security (COD system, safe delivery of goods (warranty), safe user data). The analysis tool used is the average analysis methodandconjoinedanalysis with the SPSS version 21 application. The results showed consumer preferences in shopping at the online shop. These products vary in the dimensions of Merchandise, fast processing of goods on the dimensions of customer service and promotion, good layout on the navigation and convenience dimension, and the cash on the delivery system on the security dimension. This research is expected to guide online shop developers to develop applications, web systems, and digital services that refer to the sizes that consumers prefer.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of customer service performance on customer loyalty in Astra Credit Companies Jambi. This study employs survey research using a questionnaire instrument. The samples taken in this study are a customer in Astra Credit Companies Jambi. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression to test the absolute value of the difference. This study shows that customer service performance (believable, enthusiastic, responsive, the best solution, professional) affects customer loyalty. The impact of customer service performance (credible, passionate, responsive, the best solution, professional) on customer loyalty has powerful coefficient determination. Based on this study, the advice that the authors can give is that the Astra Credit Companies are expected to increase the dimensions of reliability further because this dimension is the average lower than another dimension, namely by expanding the knowledge of customer service officers on work procedures concerning all customer needs who came to his desk and more able to interact with customers.

Abstract

This study examines discounts, brand image, and customer service simultaneously and partially to the purchase decision at Matahari Department Store Jambi City. The population used in this research is the people who shop any item at Matahari Department Store Jambi City, consisting of 100 respondents. While the analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis. Simultaneous test results show that discount variables, brand image, and customer service significantly influence the purchase decision at Matahari Department Store Jambi City. Partial test results show discount variables, brand image, and customer service - each has a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions in Matahari Department Store Kota Jambi. This condition is indicated by the considerable level of each variable below a = 5%.
