Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Financing to Deposit Ratio, profit sharing of third party funds, overhead cost, and BI rate on Murabahah margin rate in Islamic Bank Industries in Indonesia period 2012-2017. This research use multiple linear regression analysis. There are four independent variable in this research namely Financing to Deposit Ratio, Profit Sharing Of Third Party Funds, Overhead Cost, and BI Rate. The sample in this study used a saturated sample, while data were taken from Islamic Bank Statistic issued by OJK, while BI rate taken from www.bi.go.id. The result show that Financing to Deposit Ratio and profit sharing of thirty party funds has positive and significant effect on the Murabahah margin rate. While overhead cost and BI rate has no effect on the Murabahah margin rate. All the independent variables in this research are simultaneously has significant effect on the Murabahah margin rate.Keywords: Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), profit sharing of third party funds, overhead cost, BI rate, Murabahah margin rate.

Abstract

The accumulation of non performing financing in economic activities financed by banks can cause problems with the continuity of the bank's operations, if that exceeds certain limits will have potential to stop the bank's activities. This study aims to analyze the influence of bank's internal variables like  FDR, CAR, BOPO and bank external variables like macroeconomic indicators consisting of exchange rates, inflation and GDP (GDP) against non-Performing Financing (NPF) of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The data used are monthly industrial time series of Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) for the period June 2014 to December 2018 sourced from the Islamic Banking Statistics of the Financial Services Authority, the Central Bureau of Statistics (Badan Pusat Statistik) and Bank Indonesia and analyzed using multiple regression methods. The research implications explain the relationship between the internal variables of the bank company (FDR, CAR and BOPO) and macroeconomic variables (Inflation, Exchange and GDP) on the NPF of Islamic banks in Indonesia so that they can be used as input for the relevant authorities in making policies to suppress NPF at a low level. The variables used can provide an overview of the role of the implementation of sharia public bank governance and existing macroeconomic conditions so that it can produce policies and provisions in the field of sharia banking that are effective and on target. The results showed that the CAR variable had a significant effect on NPF with negative influence. Whereas FDR, BOPO, exchange rate, inflation and GDP have no influence on NPF BUS in IndonesiaKeywords: Non Performing Financing, Non Performing Loan, Islamic Commercial Bank, Indonesia.

Abstract

Being declared in 2015 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, sustainable development goals (SDGs) has an aim to answer various humanitarian-environment crisis of millennium era (MDGs). One of the main problems which become a focus is woman’s participation. Especially in development context, whether in international, national, or local scope. This paper entitle, The Marketing Strategy of Madura Tourism Industry Area trough Sustainable Development Based Gender. In particular, this study has an aim to analyze the existential of Madura woman, dealing with the area development based SDGs. Various crucial issues which become a focus of this study namely; the dynamic Madura tourism industry, sustainable development concept, and development idea based gender. The three crucial issues above will be elaborated based on the three research problems below: 1).How is the existence of Madura tourism? 2).Whatis the definition of sustainable development? 3). How is the position of gender plays a role and strategic function in marketing activity of Madura tourism industry for the next? This study is qualitative method. The data of this paper is from two sources namely primary and secondary data. The theory perspective of this study is using area marketing theory of Richard Florida and Femenis George Ritzer theory. In general, this paper has an aim to describe how the dynamic Madura tourism industry is, this study has big contribution in offering the Madura development idea, especially in promoting the local industry area to sustainable development area carrying the spirit of equality.  Keywords: Marketing area, Madura tourism, sustainable development, Gender.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the reaction of investors before and after the announcement of the determination of the Governor of DKI Jakarta in 2017 against abnormal return and trading volume of activity. These studies use quantitative methods of event study. Estimation period is 60 days and research period is 10 days before and 10 days after the announcement. the sample of this research is 30 stocks listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The results showed no significant difference against AAR and ATVA before and after the announcement. Investor it is possible already to react before the official announcement of the Election Commission (KPU). Investors could do predictions the election results of the Survey or the quick count.Keywords: Market Reaction, Event Study, Abnormal Return, Trading Volume Activity, Islamic Capital Market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of fishermen to insurance, so it can be seen how the right insurance model for fishermen in order to support the accessibility of capital to financial institutions such as LKMS. The determination of the insurance model in this study uses the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, where the decision is made by considering and validating empirical experience. The results of this study indicate that the most appropriate insurance model is Partner Agent with a value of 0.4774. Partners who are invited to work together in this regard are KUD Fishermen. The most appropriate insurance product is a Health Insurance product with a weight of 0.4878. Based on these results the researchers made several alternative microinsurance models in accordance with each category of fishermen including, the KUDN Partner Model for Small Fishermen, the Micro-ABK Model for Workers Fishermen, and the Full Service Insurance Company (LPPA) Model for Fishermen employer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of beauty influencers, lifestyle, brand image and halal labelling on purchasing decisions for halal cosmetics. In this study using a quantitative method with cross sectional analysis. The variable measurement scale is done using a likert scale. The sample in this study was a student of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University who used halal cosmetics and had read or watched videos about cosmetics from a Beauty Influencer. The number of samples collected and successfully analyzed as many as 226 of the 242 respondents taken by using purposive sampling technique. The object of analysis in this study is halal cosmetic products. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that the beauty influencer, lifestyle, brand image and labelling halal have a positive effect on purchasing decisions of halal cosmetics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the preferences of Muslim communities who do not use sharia pawnshops. The research method uses a quantitative approach with logistic regression analysis techniques. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires originating from 100 Muslim communities in West Bogor District. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained it can be seen that only locations that have an influence on the decisions of Muslim communities so that they do not use sharia pawnshops because the location has a significance level smaller than 0.05, which is equal to 0.02.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment and internal control over sharia governance. The object in this study was BMT in Depok City, West Java. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique to obtain a sample of 5 BMTs. While respondent sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the study were conducted by questionnaire. The type of research was associative by using methods of Partial Least Square (PLS). The study found that organizational culture and internal control have a significant positive influence on sharia governance. While organizational commitment has a positive but not significant effect on sharia governance.

Abstract

Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) is a form of reporting on social activities based on spiritual principles and community expectations holistically related to the role of companies in society and  the environment.  This  article analyzes  the evolution  and  implementation  of  Islamic Social Reporting. This study was conducted with a literature study by reviewing the empirical evidence of previous research and the legal framework used as the foundation. This study reviews the evolution of the Islamic Social Reporting literature in an effort to evaluate its current position. From the review, it is proven that companies who implement the reporting of social activities presented in the company's annual report have been at the strategic level of  the  Islamic  responsibility  continuum.  Where  the  level  of  corporate  reporting  in  this category, indicates that the company has fulfilled the principle of social responsibility. The Strategic level itself includes altruistic responsibilities such as contributive actions to the community, providing decent wages to employees, conservation of the environment, so that long-term expectations can increase credibility and the level of trust of its stakeholders. Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Human Capital Efficiency, Capital Employed Efficiency, and Structural Capital Efficiency on Return On Assets and Return On Equity of Islamic Rural Banks period 2015-2017. This study uses a quantitative approach. Sampling technique is purposive sampling and there were 24 Islamic Rural Banks in Indonesia as subject of research. Analysis technique used is Panel Data Analysis.The results of this study indicate that CEE has a significant positive effect on ROA. Whereas HCE and SCE have no effect on ROA. Simultaneously HCE, CEE and SCE have a significant positive effect on ROA. In addition, the results of this study indicate that HCE and CEE have a significant positive effect on ROE, both partially and simultaneously.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Human Capital Efficiency (HCE), Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) dan Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE) pada Return On Assets dan Return On Equity Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah periode 2015-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan terdapat 24 BPRS yang menjadi subyek penelitian. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis Regresi Data Panel.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan CEE berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap ROA. Sedangkan HCE dan SCE tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA  Secara simultan HCE, CEE dan SCE berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap ROA. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa HCE dan CEE berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap ROE, baik itu secara parsial maupun simultan.
