Abstract

PT. Telkom Indonesia is the largest telecommunications provider in Indonesia which has been serving the country for about 160 years. As the company grows, the range of service it provided also improved, starting from just a fixed line provider to internet and IP TV. Telkom always follows what its customers need. However, the occurrence of problem cannot be avoided. Problems can always appear from many aspects either it is controllable and uncontrollable.  To provide the best service, Telkom offers the services to fix and repair any problem faced by its customers, but this is not an easy task, until today Telkom has not yet been able to meet the Service Level Guaranteed which it promised to its customers. There are also many outstanding tickets unresolved even when Telkom has many human resources. Therefore, this research aims to reduce the time required to fix problems and solve tickets through lean methodology for service by implementing value stream mapping and eliminating as well as improving the non-value-added activities and non-value-added but necessary. Through this approach, this paper assumes that currently it is highly possible to achieve the service level guaranteed as long as improvements are made.

Abstract

Abstract. A company making palm olein find the results of the productionprocess has some variation of the characteristics of the oil, which is a variation ofcolors, smells, acid number and moisture content. Variations occur due to theheating temperature in the engine Slurry Tank, spiral heat exchange machines anddeodorize machine that changed the conditions required. This resulted in financiallosses for the company. The research was conducted by examining thecharacteristics of the oil, which aims to get real-time comparison of thecharacteristics and expectations of the value characteristics of color, odor, acidnumber and moisture content. Furthermore, the interviews and the cost of losscalculation using the Taguchi Quality Loss Function to improve the characteristicsof the product which is not according to specifications. Research shows loss costper color characteristics of 0.099%, the characteristic odor of 0.077%, thecharacteristics of acid number of 0.1% and the characteristics of the water contentof 0.0002%. While the total cost of loss to Rp 269 319 600 / year. If doneimprovement of production processes, then the resulting cost reductionsamounting to 18.65% or USD 50.2524 million / year. The losses reached 18.65%showed losses during the company is quite large, so it is necessary improvementof the production process to minimize lost production costs. Keywords: Cooking Palm Oil, Taguchi Quality Loss Function, ProductCharacteristics, Production Cost

Abstract

The layout of the factory is the main foundation in the industrial world, in this study there are problems in the production process of doll houses where most of the workers are persons with disabilities. At the production station, there is a long distance between the material work station, which results in an increase in transfer costs and the amount of production output produced. The method used in this study is a flow diagram and map of the operation process. This method is used to determine the flow of the production process from the beginning of the raw material to the process of checking the finished product. This study uses ARC to be able to find out the relationship of each work station and find out the reasons for each work station. The flow of the production process of doll houses in the company still needs to be improved. Because between a work station and other work stations it is not regular according to the flow of the production process. Based on the results of research on dollhouse production it was found that the amount of transportation between each work station and warehouse resulted in wasteful production time. It was concluded that there is a critical path, namely the path of the Raw warehouse to the cuttting machine. There is a flow that is too long/far, namely cutting machine to Pattern, pattern path to Jigsaw 1, and the Jigsaw path to Forging.

Abstract

A systematic literature review is a rigorous method of assessing and combining research results compared to the usual literature review, which consists of annotated bibliographies, a systematic review of the existing literature regarding specific research questions on a topic of interest. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a well-established technique in a context that has recently been used in software production. Software production is not like manufacturing because it requires more human resources and machines, resulting in an item's one-time production. It is therefore essential to assess what SPC works in a software context. Thus, this consideration has motivated us to define and conduct an evaluation review to assess whether SPC is used effectively and genuinely Quality Control Cycle (QCC) in Indonesia's various industries. According to a systematic literature review process, an established protocol was revised and refined by the authors. This journal collection of journals has been used in various industries in Indonesia. We report our preliminary considerations and results in a systematic review on the SPC and find 30 journals collected as references for readers in making research journals related to SPC. Our products and first impressions are favorable. This journal collection can also make it easier for researchers to get the desired journal references.

Abstract

This research shows that we all have realized the need for clean air and globally have regulated exhaust emissions from air pollution, so electric vehicles have emerged. But this phenomenon has an impact on belt companies that supply parts for CVT gasoline-powered automatic scooters because the majority of electric motors no longer need a belt as a drive transfer from the engine to the wheel. Simulated with a dynamic model for the projection of the next 20 years from 2019 to 2039, with two scenarios, namely COVID-19 and if the government's policy target of 20% of the motorbike market switches to electricity in 2025, then gradually increases to 30% in 2035. PT XYZ as a belt supplier with an 85% market share in Indonesia, will get a net profit of 50% if this scenario is achieved until 2039 became around 131 billion per year, previously with the no-scenario model it was projected to get a net profit of around 221 billion. Maybe if the demand for electric motorbikes is more than what the government has targeted, it is likely that the two-wheeled automotive belt business could be threatened in the next 15 - 20 years. Meanwhile, the largest Expense is the cost of imported materials, reaching 65% of the total cost of Expenses consisting of Salary Expenses (Salary Expense), total training costs, cost of sales, total loss costs, material costs, and Operating overhead Recommendations that business can survive, companies can reduce material costs by developing local materials, and help shape the automotive belt use ecosystem by working with automotive manufacturers.
