Abstract

Production planning and control in a manufacturing company involves all production activities from raw material requirements to finished products. The Jakarta Automotive Components Industry is engaged in manufacturing which produces leaf spring products that are sent to several regular customers, namely the Automotive Assembly Industry. Leaf spring Hino OW 190/200 is the type of spring ordered and shipped to PT. HMMI. Based on data for the January-December 2019 period, the demand for Hino OW 190/200 leaf spring has fluctuated quite significantly. The purpose of this study was to plan and control the production process of Leaf Spring Hino OW 190/200. Forecasting for the next 12 periods is based on demand plots from the previous 12 periods, calculating the Aggregate production plan, determining the Master Production Schedule (MPS), calculating raw material requirements using the Hybrid and Lot for Lot methods. The results showed that to support the smooth production, it can be seen that the production planning for forecasting calculations using the Linear Regression method generates a model Y=319,575+3,723X. Calculation of the need for main raw materials and components in 2020 uses the Hybrid and Lot for Lot method, which is 256,182.88 kg, much smaller than the company's calculations based on 2019 data, namely 259,827.40 kg.

Abstract

Work fatigue is one of the factors that affect occupational health and safety. To create a good quality of occupational health, an approach that can be applied to reduce work fatigue is needed, so that good work performance can be achieved. The purpose of this study was to carry out a systematic literature study to determine the application of the Total Ergonomics Approach in reducing worker fatigue. This literature study is useful for explaining the Total Ergonomic Approach model, fatigue measurement instruments, and various improvement interventions carried out in various fields of work. The research method used is a systematic literature study through databases such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, Researchgate, and the Indonesian Scientific Repository-Neliti, using the keywords total ergonomics approach and work fatigue. The Total Ergonomic Approach Model was found to obtain optimal repair solutions, in the fields of industrial work, agriculture, education and hospitality, and others. Improvement interventions developed include improving work attitudes, working conditions, providing nutrition, and redesigning work tools. The measurement of work fatigue in all literature was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. Based on this literature study, there is a research gap to develop a model of a total ergonomics approach in the transportation sector to reduce logistics driver fatigue and to develop an objective and real-time fatigue measurement instrument. So that it can produce a contribution to creating quality health and safety for logistics drivers.

Abstract

Islamic banking has enormous potential considering that Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world. The current performance measurement system for Islamic banks is still financial and non-financial, and there is an imbalance in the actual value of the company because it views financial and non-financial measurements as two important things that are not correlated. A comprehensive performance measurement system is urgently needed considering that Islamic banks must be able to follow market developments, such as the Balanced Scorecard. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the financial, customer, internal business, learning, and growth perspectives. Analyze which perspective is the most dominant in influencing the management performance of Islamic Banks. The results of the current research are Islamic banks in the growth stage towards the sustainability stage because they are supported by the application of goal-setting theory. Increasing employee performance satisfaction can be achieved by implementing an optimal system of leadership, motivation, and work spirit. This can be shown by the success of Islamic Banks in getting several awards from the business media.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the cycle time of the assembly line of one of the weapons products at PT. Pindad (Persero) and to explore the effective methods to improve its performance. The method used is a quantitative analysis of assembly data involving 155 components and 56 tasks distributed over 43 work stations, accompanied by document analysis, especially on scientific literature, to elaborate various appropriate methods to become solutions to the problems encountered. The results show that almost all workstations had a cycle time greater than the takt time. It is also known that there is an imbalance of existing workstations, with the lightest workload lasting 67 seconds while the largest workload lasting 253 seconds. The results of the elaboration of the literature show that several potential methods can provide solutions to the problems encountered by considering the characteristics of the assembly line with a straight-line configuration. This study contributes to the literature by analyzing cycle times and assembly line balances in the defense industry relatively rarely studied in Indonesia.
