Abstract

Stakeholders believe that CSR report of a company provides significant information as well as the financial information reported in financial statement. The purpose of this research is to analyze the comprehensiveness and information on society indicator stated in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting. The Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (version 3.1) provides indicators to analyze the CSR of company. This research focuses on society aspect as one of the performance indicators. Comprehensive reporting contains three types of information: (i) vision and goals, (ii) management approach, and (iii) performance indicator. The methodology used in this research was data collection. This research analyzed the disclosure of society aspect by PT Antam on their financial statement and annual CSR report for the year 2012. The result of this research explains that PT Antam’s sustainability report for the year 2012 was comprehensive because they reported all the six aspects of society indicator. However, PT Antam failed to report the total value of financial and in kind contributions to political parties, politicians, and related institutions by country (SO6) as part of public policy aspect in their sustainability report.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain what the problems of modern society in meeting the necessities of life and efforts in improving their welfare. Determination of the wrong economic policies undertaken by a group of people will result in suffering for the people themselves, and even spread to other communities where the economic linkages between groups of people so closely with one another. The economic crisis experienced in the United States that occurred in the year 2007 till now influent to other countries. Economic problems arise because of scarcity, which resulted in the society should allocate its resources efficiently and optimally. The differences of geography, talent and expertise of community groups demanding to produce goods and services into its superiority. Raises production specialization trade, and commerce will take place efficiently with the help of money. Everything is dedicated to improving the welfare of society itself.

Abstract

Interaction model of family planning program management field lines are enhanced as one objective of family planning program revitalization. This research was conducted by exploration activities with qualitative approach (in-depth interviews and group discussion forums) for reconstructing a "model of enhanced interaction". The basic concept of enhanced interaction models are built based on the concept of empowerment, coordination, accompaniment, financing through civil society organizations and the Government of DKI Jakarta. Improvements made to the enhanced interaction models are in the field of family planning services. This study aims to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of the national family planning program and the implementation of the program of economic empowerment of the family in the long-term periods characterized by interaction changes of family planning program management team in the district level and the executive of family planning program in the village level effectively and efficiently. In order to improve the cultivation of family planning program field line, it is necessary to improve the status of Village Family Planning Executive Team to become Village Family Planning Management Team as a more effective management approach. This study recommends that the Government of DKI Jakarta to support operational costs and Activity Groups in RW level. The expected impact is the increase of the proportion of active family planning participants towards PUS in the area of research, especially for pre-prosperous Families and prospreous-I families (Poor). Poor families who join family planning program have the priority access to poverty reduction through economic empowerment of the family planning participants, and it is expected to be implemented in the province of Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of view attention, responsibility, reporting accounting environment, and audit environment to see the importance of green accounting on employees who worked in Tangerang related to the problem of the environment in the company. The research population consisted of all employees of the company. The eligible questionnaires were given to 108 respondents. Data collection was using questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the regression test with analysis tools STATA 12. The result indicates that the variable attention in the environment, responsibility in the environment, and environmental accounting report gives impact on the point of view of the importance of green accounting in a company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the student response in comparison between Management Department and Accounting Department at the Faculty of Economics, University of Bunda Mulia, against a system of learning in the e-learning system based. The samples are taken by using non-probability sampling method that is very much purposive. The amount of data to be collected as many as 300 students (respondents) conducted in a proportion as of for the Accounting Department samples of 150 respondents were taken and from the Department of Management also 150 respondents were taken, with a standard error in around 1%. The amount of data is adjusted to the time of data collection conducted during the months of March to May 2008, this was also during the lectures take place in the second semester of 2007/2008. For the idea of applying the e-learning system based, the result in the major of accounting, which are 76%, said that the idea seems to be right if e-Learning is applied but for the Department of Management students, only 32% of students who was responded quite well.

Abstract

Colleges that offer computer education are increasing, partly because of the widespread use of information technology in all areas of life so that it takes labors/computer graduates qualified and applicably ready. This situation also occurs in colleges at Jakarta. This paper presents the results, which aims to reveal the compatibility level of educational services mixed-marketing performance with the interests and expectations of college students. Research conducted is descriptive and verification, while the method of research is an explanatory survey method to 770 students of computer private universities in Jakarta and 54 leaders in computer private universities in Jakarta. The results show that the environment of one individual affects more to college students in processing decision to choose the college compared to educational services mixed-marketing performance. Whereas, the value of education services is not affected by the environmental of students but by educational services mixed-marketing performance and student decision process. There is a mismatch/gap between the educational service mixed-marketing performance to the level of expectations and interests level of students perceived.

Abstract

This research analyzed the impact of financial reforms on economic growth in Nigeria. The scope of this research covered the period between1986– 2016.This period was chosen because liberalization of Nigeria financial sector began in 1986 with the introduction of Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP), which policy thrust included deregulation of interest rates. Secondary data were collected from Central Bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin and National Bureau of Statistics publications. This research used econometrics analysis. Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) technique and Cochrane Orcutt iterative method were used to analyze the data. The results show that implemented financial reforms during the period has positive impact on economic growth. This research recommends that government should enhance financial reforms and macroeconomic stability and be sensitive to the behavior of interest rates especially, lending rates for overall economic growth in the country.

Abstract

HR management is an effort to integrate the needs of personnel with organization’s objectives to increase the contribution that can be given by the employees of the organization towards the achievement of goals. This research examined the effect of motivation, job satisfaction, and working attitude to job performance on Café X’s employees, Bogor. The use of these variables is expected to solve the performance problem on the employees. The respondents of this study were 25 employees using sampling techniques survey. The Research method used are literature and empirical (survey) approach, and the multiple regression statistical analysis. The analysis showed that working attitude and motivation have a positive effect on employee performance, with the closeness of the relationship in the medium category. To working attitude variable, the highest dimension is cognitive component and the lowest is behavior component. To motivation variable, the highest dimension is physical dimension and the lowest is self-actualization. While job satisfaction does not significantly influence on employee performance. Compensation becomes the major factor to dissatisfaction and the lowest is promotion factor. These empirical findings indicate that the restaurant management needs an improvement in order to improve the performance of employees, especially to evaluate compensation policies and the provision of incentives.
