Abstract

Discipline represents primary factor which follows to determine the successful an organization in attainment of target. Motivation represents psychological processes which express interaction among attitude, perception requirement, and decision that happened at someone itself. Performance represents size measure of result (output) and benefit (outcomes) from an activity process at certain function, executed by someone as individual, and also by group of people at certain range of time. Good discipline which happened in a company can increase someone performance. And also do the things of with motivation had by an employee. Higher motivation level of employee will make the employee have high commitment to finish his/her jobs better. Employees those owning high commitment to finish its work mean this employee have achieving his/her own performance. Which in company happened good discipline and supported with high motivation from each; every employee, hence by itself officer employee performance also progressively mount. Thereby, hypothetically that by together there are can be anticipated that by together there are relation.

Abstract

Sales promotion is almost always used as a marketing tool that is potential to increase sales of a product. Nevertheless, the reality is totally different because of differences in segmentation and characteristics of the product or service that will be sold should be a concern for marketers. It turns out that not all segmentations will be loyal to a product/service because of sales promotion, take one example: when upper class customers in choosing a wedding organizer. With etnography study and in depth interview, consumer insight is obtained about their opinion on sales promotion.

Abstract

Investasi valuta asing saat ini sedang banyak berkembang karena didukung oleh sistem pasar bebas dan kemajuan teknologi. Dengan bantuan teknologi, investasi valuta asing dapat dilakukan secara lebih mudah, cepat dan praktis mengingat pasar valuta asing buka selama 24 jam pada hari kerja. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih sedikit orang yang mengetahui mengenai berinvestasi dalam valuta asing serta bagaimana menggunakan alat bantu yang diperlukan dalam investasi tersebut. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran bagaimana valuta asing dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu bentuk investasi serta penggunaan software MetaTrader 5 sebagai alat bantunya. Fitur-fitur dalam MetaTrader 5 mendukung situasi pasar valuta asing yang seringkali bergerak sangat cepat. Pengenalan akan pasar valuta asing dan cara penggunaan software menjadi langkah awal yang harus dilakukan untuk memulai investasi.

Abstract

Technology advances in education is very influential for educators to solve problems such as lack of adequate study time, and lack of auxiliary equipment to support learning. Therefore, it is required to know how far SMKN 13 Jakarta will need e-Learning and the extent of readiness of existing infrastructure on students to support the implementation of e-Learning. The research method is direct survey by distributing questionnaires to students and interviews with teachers. The method of analysis used by researchers is to use SWOT analysis,Porter, and the Cost and Benefit. The results showed that the school does require an e-Learning to improve its services to the community and the students have sufficient infrastructure to support the implementation of e-Learning.

Abstract

In this study, the writer attempts basically to look at the economic indicator from three things, there are output growth rate, unemployment rate and inflation rate. For state prosperity indicator, the writer uses Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. Object of this study uses the data from seven countries. They are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapura, Filipina, India and Cina. Economic and state prosperity indicator is viewed from the growth of eight years period from 2005 until 2012. The writer uses secondary data that is available on websites, such as website of International Monetary Fund, Central Statistic Body and etc. The analysis shows that Indonesia is at fourth position for output growth rate, sixth position for unemployment rate, the second position for inflation rate and the highest position for GDP per capita.

Abstract

This research is conducted to evaluate performance of PT XL Axiata Tbk using Balanced Score Card. The writer made design and implemented BSC in PT XL Axiata Tbk to convince its vision, mision and strategies are alligned. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive. Primary data were teken through questioners and interviewed with employees and customers.Secondary data were taken from annual report published at company website.The result of this research for Financial Perspective is PT XL Axiata Tbk needs to improve its financial ratio, The result of this research for Customer Perspective is PT XL Axiata Tbk needs to improve its customer satisfaction, The result of this research for Internal Business Process Perspective is PT XL Axiata Tbk needs to maintenance its good result, The result of this research for Learning and Growth is PT XL Axiata Tbk needs to maintenance good working environment. The final conclusion from this research at PT XL Axiata Tbk proved the company performance works toward its strategy, make a continous improvement and make a stable profit through the years taken as a sample.

Abstract

The most important parts of government income comes from taxes, especially income taxes. The different point of view arises between government and tax payer. While the government try to increase the tax income, the taxpayers always intend to minimize their tax burden by implementing tax management/plannning. This paper is a case study in FA Trico Paint Factory (FA TPF) that try to reperforming company’s income tax return preparation with the main purpose to minimize company tax burden, while it is still comply with tax regulations in Indonesia. This approach could be an alternative for the company to restate it’s annual income tax return, to avoic fines and charges for not comply with the regulations, and minimize it’s income tax expense by approximately 10% per year.

Abstract

Financial analysis is useful for all company to measure their performance and expected to show improvement result in order to determine the company’s condition. . Financial ratios are tools to help anticipate the future conditions and to predict some actions or strategies that will useful in improving the company’s future performance, which is from evaluating the previous financial statement. Using financial ratios this research tries to impose one indicator, post employment benefit and how it would impact company financial performance. PT. ABC Will be the object case which implementation the post employment benefit based on particular regulation PSAK No. 24 (revision 2004). The researcher would like to focuses on the profitability ratios by Return on Asset ratio (ROA), liquidity ratio by Current Ratio (CR) and the leverage ratio by Debt-Equity ratio.

Abstract

This research is to analyse the consumer purchase decision behaviour in buying cars. The important factor that being considered is product, price, design, comfort, performance, safety, and after-sales service quality. The research objects are city cars including Suzuki Karimun, KIA Picanto, Cherry QQ, and Proton Savvy. Those four products are chosen because they have the highest sales rate on 2007-2008. The sampling technique in this research is probability sampling using cluster random sampling technique. Meanwhile, the analysis method is using analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Finally, it will be concluded the persentage of each factor priority that will affect consumer consideration in purchase decision of each chosen city car. From the seven factors in this research, the result shows that price factor is the most important part and is the main considerable when consumers choose cars.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction should be provided by organization. The Government service in the form of etoll green technology is an alternative service in toll road for public. This service is still new in the implementation. Therefore, it is necessary to do a study in the level of elasticity of the e-toll service. Consumer satisfaction from toll users becomes a measure of the success rate from this service. Consumer satisfaction from toll users who use e-toll will be achieved if they are satisfied with the e-toll product and GTO service. This study aims to test a model that explains consumer satisfaction from e-toll users. The theory underlying this study was service quality and satisfaction. The study was conducted on the toll roads in Jakarta. Unit analysis was e-toll users. Samples were taken based on convenient sampling. Structural Equation Modelling used SPSS 16.0 software and elasticity formula was used to test the hypothesis; while the implication for transport domain.
