Abstract

Civic education conventional method ignore the monotonous process of building value in facing of globalization. VCT analysis moral dilemmas method used one of the learning strategies to form a global insights citizens competences. This study developed about what a significant different the attitude, skill, and knowledge of global insights citizens competences between the class student who use  VCT analysis moral dilemmas in civic education with don’t use VCT analysis moral dilemmas. The method in studies used quantitative approach with quasi experimental study. Based on different test performed, so that the value analysis dilemmas moral han an influence on global insights citizens competences.

Abstract

This is the result of research on the determinant factors in the development of student discipline. The focus of the research is the determinant factors of any potential for fostering discipline students in school. This research was intended to collect, analyzed about determinant factor in students disciplined construction Jatinunggal senior high school, the regency of Sumedang. The subjects of this research were the principal, representative headmaster, curriculum headmaster representative, teachers, student, student oldster, and Jatinunggal's society. The data was collected through observation, interviews, and several dokumentatioan studies. The data then analized with qualitative approach using Miles and Huberman models: data reduction, data display, dan data conclusion drawing/verification. The results indicated that: 1) the physical and socio-cultural conditions Jatinunggal senior high school, the regency of Sumedang; 2) the level of students discipline Jatinunggal senior high school, the regency of Sumedang; 3) the role of the school in the student discipline build Jatinunggal senior high school, the regency of Sumedang; 4) the role of the family in developing the discipline of students Jatinunggal senior high school, the regency of Sumedang; 5). the role of the community in developing the discipline of students Jatinunggal senior high school, the regency of Sumedang.Keywords: Determinant Factors, Construction,Student Dicipline

Abstract

This study started from the researcher distress to the problem that occurs in class VIII-A SMPN 14 Bandung associated with the development of the creativity of the learners in learning Civic Education. This could be seen from the learning process centered on the educators or teacher centered and the learners were not accustomed to develop ideas in which later it poured into a product of learning. The method which was used was the method of classroom action research (PTK) with through the stages of plan, implementation, observation, analysis and reflection on classes VIII-A SMPN 14 Bandung. The data collection techniques which were used were observation, interview, field note, documentation study, and questionnaires. Based on the results of the action research, the use of short film media as a medium of Civic Education learning process had succeeded in developing the creativity of the learners. This improvement could be seen from the results of the implementation of the research conducted during three cycles, the students were able to make and featured short films creatively in accordance with the materials in the Civic Education learning process. The improvementwas seen in the characteristics or creativity indicators of the learners which were grown. Thus, short film media utilization as a Civic Education learning media can develop the creativity of learners.Keywords: Media Short Film, Student Creativity

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas dalam mata pelajaran PPKn terlalu banyak mencatat dan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan terkesan teoritis sehingga peserta didik kurang menerapkan nilai-nilai penguatan pendidikan karakter secara kontekstual, selain itu belum adanya praktik pembelajaran yang mampu menggali kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter di kelas agar peserta didik mengembangkan potensi berpikir kritis secara kontekstual melalui model pembelajaran debat. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mengunakan wawancara baik dari guru dan peserta didik, analisis dokumentasi, dan observasi. Adapun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI IPS 3 SMAN 15 Bandung mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan setelah proses pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran debat pada setiap siklusnya secara signifikan dari indikator kurang  menjadi cukup kemudian baik. Sehingga model pembelajaran debat ini efektif digunakan dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Creative development based learning, theoretically, is the conditioning of highest cognitive learning to achieve curricular purposes of Civic  Education subject.  Research findings that conducted in senior high school level, showed four models which support the creative devevelopment approach, i.e. research based learning, goods based learning, product based learning, information synthetizing and facts discovery based learning. The learning process developed conctructivistic, contextualan dinquire.

Abstract

This study used a survey method with quantitative approach, by developing two independent variables (the television media), and one dependent variable (attitude of students in learning civics). This research was conducted in SMP-MTS Se-District of Pangean Regency Kuantan Singingi. The subjects of the study were the students of SMP-MTS Se-District of Pangean Class VIII with all class VIII student population of 220 students with a sample of 140 students. To determine the number of samples the author uses two stages: looking for a sample of the total population using multistage random sampling technique. The collection of primary data in this study using a questionnaire containing statements with five alternative answers (Likert scale). Research findings: (1) there is influence between the variables TV media with the type of education (X1) on the attitudes of students in the learning PKN (Y) with a score of 30.3%. (2) there are significant variables with this type of entertainment TV media (X2) on the attitudes of students in the learning PKN (Y) with a score of 27.4%. (3) there is the influence of TV media (X) on the attitudes of students in the learning PKN (Y) with a score of 30.4%.Keyword : Television, Learning Attitude, Civic Education.

Abstract

The rapid impact of globalization, is not impossible to affect indigenous cultures into our identity as a nation and would undermine nationalism. Indonesian national vision to give the role to the Indonesian people to proactively anticipate the development of the environment in changing times. As one way of implementing the values of the concept of nationalism in increasing nationalism could through student organizations. This study used a qualitative approach and methods of comparative studies. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings show that construction vision and mission of the BEM REMA UPI and BEM KEMA UNPAD have the same perception, where the vision and mission of the organization used as a direction in movement. Foreign Ministry views of members of BEM REMA UPI and BEM KEMA UNPAD have the same view that the program is designed is a positive thing for the members and all students in the changing attitude towards his country, as an implementation of the values of national awareness. The efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs BEM REMA UPI that is by awareness of its role and functions of the students, the intellectual level of students, improved coordination and information, network expansion (link), and a regeneration system. While the efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs BEM KEMA UNPAD to reform the role of students, the approach to the community, network with community organizations, and alumni, regeneration system, upgrading the entire board, campaign literate culture.Keywords: Implementation, Values, Concept of Nationalism, Student Organizations, and Nationalism

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang implementasi model project citizen pada pembelajaran PKn sebagai penguatan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran bahwa model project citizen dalam pembelajaran Pkn dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa. Peneliti memilih lokasi penelitian di SMAN 9 Bandung, dengan kepala sekolah,guru,siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara,studi dokumentasi,dan daftar tilik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan:1) prencanaan terhadap model project citizen dilakukan meliputi penyusunan silabus dan rpp, 2) pelaksanaan project citizen tergolong baik, kegiatan siswa aktif, 3)kendala yang ditemukan saat pelaksanaan model project citizen diantaranya adalah waktu dan biaya. 4) strategi untuk meminimalisir kendala yang ditemui, perlunya kerjasama semua pihak, 5) kecenderungan Penguatan Karakter Siswa Setelah Mengikuti Project Citizen.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPeer group model is the guidance of learning in the form of assistance and motivation to learn effectively and efficiently. This research aims to improve the civic knowledge of students by using peer tutor model (peer group). The research method used classroom action research and the location in VII-D class at SMPN 15 Bandung which amounted to 24 students. This research was conducted in three cycles. Data collection technics used are observation, interview, test, and documentation. Data analysis is data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The result of research shows that: 1) the average test value in cycle I is 60.55; average value at cycle II is 93.65; and average value at cycle III is 93.85; 2) barriers faced by time constraints and less efficient class management; 3) efforts made in the form of discussions with observers driving good time and class management with varied. Based on this, it shows that civic knowledge of students can increase with use peer tutor model (peer group). Keyword: civic knowledge, peer group ABTSRAKPembelajaran tutor sebaya adalah bimbingan pembelajaran dalam bentuk pemberian bimbingan, bantuan, petunjuk, arahan dan motivasi agar peserta didik belajar secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan civic knowledge peserta didik dengan menggunakan model tutor sebaya (peer group). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK dengan lokasi penelitian di kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 15 Bandung yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yaitu berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) rata-rata nilai tes pada siklus I yaitu 60,55; siklus II yaitu 93,65; dan siklus III yaitu 93,85; 2) hambatan yang dihadapi berupa keterbatasan waktu dan pengelolaan kelas yang kurang efisien; 3) upaya yang dilakukan berupa diskusi dengan observer, mengefisiensikan waktu dan mengelola kelas dengan variatif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa civic knowledge peserta didik dapat meningkat dengan penggunaan model tutor sebaya (peer group).

Abstract

Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) mencatat sebanyak 61 anggota DPR dan DPRD telah menjadi tersangka kasus korupsi sepanjang Januari-Mei 2018. Juli 2018, tercatat 165 mantan narapidana korupsi mencalonkan diri sebagai wakil rakyat. April 2019, Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) merujuk data final Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) merilis sebanyak 81 orang eks koruptor mencalonkan diri menjadi anggota legislatif. Secara yuridis, landasan eks koruptor menjadi calon anggota legislatif telah diperbolehkan, merujuk pada putusan Mahkamah Agung No.43 P/HUM/2018. Namun, dalam perkembangannya, dilihat dari berbagai sudut pandang lain caleg eks koruptor menimbulkan berbagai implikasi negatif bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif sehingga diperoleh gambaran publik mengenai adanya caleg eks koruptor dalam Pemilu 2019 secara moral, perkembangan demokrasi, gerakan antikorupsi serta partai politik. Caleg eks koruptor dari sudut pandang moral dinilai sebagai penyimpangan. Caleg eks koruptor dapat menghambat demokrasi di Indonesia karena akan mengurangi kepercayaan publik kepada para wakil rakyat. Rekrutmen caleg dari internal partai sebagai corong menyeleksi kualitas caleg. Revisi undang-undang Pemilu harus dilakukan untuk perbaikan proses demokrasi di Indonesia. Pendidikan politik di masyarakat menjadi salah solusi mengatasi efek yang ditimbulkan dari adanya caleg eks koruptor.
