Abstract

Teacher competency is a mandatory requirement of every individual who works as a teacher at the lowest level such as PAUD or skill subject teacher at the high school level, and here even the Class Teachers in Elementary School must have because it is a pedagogic competence that is one of the four competencies that must be owned by a teacher in accordance with the Teacher and Lecturer Law. The right way to improve professional teacher competency is by coaching, training or non-training / activities other than education and training and is now rife with development through education / education in the network or known online. With this Online it is clear that the ability of a teacher in the use of technology need not be doubted, because all the training processes are carried out and completed with the use of computers. So that the computer capabilities of the teacher must be in good category. This study aims to assess the teaching ability of teachers and the learning process in the classroom by comparing several classes of teachers who obtain online and have not received education training in the network. The results of the study are analysis data obtained from students with the help of questionnaires, teacher teaching skills in designing learning and in preparing learning tools. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results show that there are errors in alternative learning carried out in the classroom, that learning is still in flattening rather than integrated. Therefore it is necessary to improve the evaluation in online activities held by the government, because in the value of the teacher evaluation is complete, but the skills and ability to teach teachers can not meet the national education goals. Not only that, the transition from the two different curricula is still widely found learning can not meet the scientific approach criteria

While in the ASEAN region, education in Indonesia takes fifth ranks out of nine countries. The data showed the low quality of education in Indonesia. One of the evidence is the problem occurred on the fourth grade students in elementary school Cluster Diponegoro Semarang. The result of student learning of social studies on fourth grade are still relatively low. This study aims to examine the correlation between: 1) reading interest and social studies learning outcomes; 2) readiness to study and social studies learning outcomes; 3) reading interest, simultaneous learning readiness, and the learning outcomes of social studies. This study used a correlation research design with a quantitative approach. The research samples of 103 students were taken using nonprobability sampling technique by random sampling. The data collection used questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The instrument trials were carried out by validity and reliability tests. The data analysis techniques used the prerequisite test for data analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive correlation between reading interest and social studies learning outcomes the proved by its correlation showed a strong contribution of 48%; 2) there was a positive correlation between learning readiness and social studies learning outcomes the proved by its correlation showed a strong contribution of 49.6%; 3) there was a positive correlation between reading interest and learning readiness simultaneously with social studies learning outcomes the proved by its correlation showed a strong contribution of 58.9%. It can be concluded that there was a positive correlation between reading interest, learning readiness, and social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students in elementary school Cluster Diponegoro Semarang.

Abstract

This type of research is experiment research that aims to test the effectiveness of the quantum teaching model by assisted rainbow board to result of mathematics studies outcomes of 4th grade students of elementary school of the Ikan Mas Cluster, North Semarang. This research used quantitative method with experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample technique was cluster random sampling of 128 participantes. Data collection used test, observation and documentation. The hypothesis test result showed that tcount˃ttabel (2.128˃ 2.037) which mean quantum teaching model assisted by rainbow boardis was more effective to result of social studies outcomes of 4th grade students. The experiment class n-gain test result 0.734 belong to high criterion while control class n-gaint test result 0.481 belong to medium criterion

Abstract

The research aimed to examine the effect of PJBL model (Project Based Learning) on learning outcome at SBdP at the fourth grade student of SDN Jepang 05 Kudus. The design of the research was quasi-experimental with noquivalent control group design. The population of the research was fourth grade student of SDN Jepang 05 Kudus 2016/2017. The sample collection techniques used Nonprobability Sampling with saturated sampling technique. The amount of the sample were 25 students for experiment class and 23 students the control class. The data collection techniques used test, observation, and documentation. The data analysis employed: normality test, homogeneity, average difference test and N-Gain test. The results of the research showed that t test obtained t calculation of 0.000 0,05 so that Ha accepted and Ho rejected. This indicates that used PjBL model has significant influence on student activity and learning outcome at SBdP which has been also proven through the control class gain index of 0.399 (Medium), and the experimental class gain index of 0.701 (High). Student activity of experiment class was higher than control class. The research concluded that the use of Project Based Learning model gave a significant difference of influence on the activity and the student’s learning outcome on the material making the leaf bone craft in SBdP learning.
