<![CDATA[The Acting Education Park is a place to practice acting and a public open space for the process of acting practice activities. The design of the Acting Educational Park was motivated by the lack of acting training places in Banjarbaru and the increasing growth of the economy and the creative industry, especially the film sector and the like. The design problem is a park that can accommodate acting training activities and the community can also participate in public spaces. The method used is using architectural programming. The solution uses elements of basic training in acting, namely body exercise, vocal exercise, and mental exercise, and is developed into the design of the Acting Education Park.]]>

<![CDATA[The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things, working from home has also changed employees' point of views on safety in the workplace should they have to return to work from the office, similar to the Grid Network company which is a subsidiary of Kompas Gramedia for publications that produce and distribute the news, entertainment and lifestyle. Because the output from this media is digital and print, work from the office is still very necessary and cannot be completely replaced by an online system. This is realized by using spatial perception method with Biophillic concept, which is a form of sustainable building design that has great potential to contribute to human health and well-being, especially in the midst of a pandemic. This method not only contributes to the aesthetics and functionality of the space, but also helps in the process of creating a workspace that minimizes employees' exposure to the risk of Covid-19 transmission.]]>

<![CDATA[Teluk Aru beach is a tourist attraction that is famous for its natural beauty, culture, and local wisdom of the Mandar tribe. This is the potential and attractiveness of the Teluk Aru coast. The absence of lodging facilities and the long distance from the district center make tourists reluctant to visit. So it is necessary to have accommodation facilities in the form of lodging in accordance with the cultural characteristics of the community, traditional architecture and the natural environment. The result of the design is a cottage which is the result of exploration of the transformation of elements of traditional Mandar (Boyang) house into a modern form and appearance. So that this cottage will become an accommodation facility that can provide the embodiment of community culture, traditional architecture and natural potential. <![CDATA[Forum Anak merupakan organisasi anak yang dibina oleh Pemerintah Republik Indonesia melalui Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, dan berperan untuk menjembatani komunikasi dan interaksi antara pemerintah dengan anak-anak di seluruh Indonesia dalam rangka pemenuhan hak partisipasi anak. Pada praktiknya Forum Anak Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan memerlukan tempat untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan keorgaanisasian. Saat ini penyelenggaraan kegiatan keorganisasiaan Forum Anak Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan ini difasilitasi sebuah ruang sekretariat di Kantor Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DP3A) Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Namun fasilitas ini belum mampu mewadahi kegiatan Forum Anak Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan secara optimal dan belum menjadi fasilitas yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan pemanfaatan waktu luang melalui penyaluran minat dan bakat anak. Melalui penggunaan konsep playscape dan metode pendekatan psikologi arsitektur, perancangan Pusat Kegiatan Forum Anak tingkat Provinsi di Banjarbaru diharapkan mampu memfasilitasi kegiatan Forum Anak, meningkatkan kontribusi masyarakat dalam pemenuhan hak dan perlindungan anak di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, dan mewadahi pengaduan dan pendampingan bagi anak dengan peran forum anak sebagai konselor sebaya, melalui ruang publik di dalamnya yang didesain dengan memperhatikan prinsip ruang ramah anak (child friendly space), fleksibilitas (flexibility) dan inklusivitas (Inclusive).]]>

<![CDATA[Orphans receive special attention in the Al-Quran. The Al-Qurancommands Muslims to protect and nurture orphans. The effort of Muslims to fulfill this obligation is to provide a place to accommodate orphans so that they have the opportunity to live properly, obtain an education, and achieve their goals. In Tanah Bumbu Regency stands the Palace of Orphans under the auspices of the Darul Azhar Foundation. Judging from the National Standards of Parenting, the Palace of Orphans both in quantity and quality has not met the standard of facilities for a child social welfare institution. this condition has not been able to fulfill the vision and mission of the foundation to develop their potential and talents in the fields of art, sports, leadership, and religion. For this reason, a plan to redesign the Orphan Palace was initiated. This redesign was carried out using the infill design method. By initiating the concept of 'mutualism space' which means an old space or space with a new space or space that is mutually beneficial to one another, taking into account the interrelationship of functions and the interrelationship of needs between spaces. The new spaces that are present are analogous to facilities, functions, aesthetics, and other physical designs that are filled into an area that focuses on developing the potential of orphans. This concept and method are expected to be a solution to the problem of redesigning the Orphan Palace.]]>

<![CDATA[Banua Local Pride is a breakthrough for the local Banua brand clothing line community to get legal support and deserve to be the host when local fashion brands develop globally. The bazaar as a place for collaboration has not been able to become a place for developing BLP. The Banua Local Brand Clothing Line Center in Banjarbaru is an expressive identity space for the community and an interactive commercial center for local brands with the expression of their identity. The Clothing Line Center is a place for the community to recognize and appreciate the potential of Banua Local Pride. The design uses the Expressionist Architecture method using the concept of Expression-Identity through Expression-Enterprise, Community Based, and Locality-Global so that the space is present as a form of support for commercial expression with the potential for community collaboration space.]]>

<![CDATA[Elderly or can be called elderly is the last stage of the life process experienced by humans,which results in a decrease in the ability to live. Judging from the increasing population growth and theproblems faced by the elderly such as neglected elderly, it is necessary to have alternative means toprovide physical and mental health facilities. Then the Elderly Health Care Center becomes atechnical implementation unit that provides social services that support the process of improvinghealth and social welfare. <![CDATA[Ngancar District is located around the slopes of Gunung Kelud and is in a strategic area with various kinds of potential, one of which is tourism potential and the potential for producing pineapples and processed pineapple products. However, there are currently no tourist attractions in Ngancar District that utilize the potential of natural resources and the environment, especially pineapple cultivation as a tourist attraction. Based on this, the concept and design of ecological-based pineapple agro-tourism was compiled by raising the problem of how to design pineapple-based agro-tourism as a means of recreation and education to accommodate the development of tourism potential in accordance with the potential of the environment. Five principles of ecological architecture are used as a concept in solving these problems. The concept of ecological architecture was developed based on the architectural programming method in the form of the activity patterns of farmers and tourists in Ngancar. The application of these five principles is grouped into three potentials, namely human potential, site potential, and natural potential. The concept is manifested in the design in the form of attractions, facilities, activities, the placement of the building mass, the shape and structure of the building, outdoor space, and utilities.]]>

<![CDATA[Sungai Baru is a settlement of the home industry for ketupat, lontong, and nipah handicrafts which is traversed by the Martapura River, one of the biggest rivers in Banjarmasin City. However, the existence of this home industry has decreased which impacts the economic conditions of the residents. Therefore, Sungai Baru area has the potential to be used as a tourist area that can increase the existence of home industries of ketupat, lontong, and nipah handcrafts to maintain the Banjar culture. The main of the architectural problem for this study is the protrusion of the identity of the ketupat village which can increase the potential of the area. Through the concept of the Eco-Regionalism program with contextual architectural methods, it is hoped that the tourist area can highlight the characteristics of the Sungai Baru area as a ketupat village by paying attention to environmental and community aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[Banjarmasin holds rich history and culture along its riversides which is supposedly to be conserved. Regarding this, the Department of Tourism of Banjarmasin City created a program Called Kota Pusaka and are willing to develop Sungai Jingah’s riverside settlement to become a Tourism Village. In this work of planning the writer applies Infill Design method to synthesize designs corresponding the surrounding houses, whether it would be matching or given the context of nowadays technology and materials. Infill Design also allows for contrasting designs to be formed. The purpose of applying Infill Design method is to add the functions of tourism into the existing settlement. The results are that the area able to be built on are empy sites and sites with broken down houses. The mass shapes for matching and compatible buildings and elements are gable roof or stepped-up roof. The mass shapes for contrasting buildings and elements are composed of transformed shapes with folds and rolls.]]>
