Abstract

Background: Straight punch or jab punch is one punch in boxing. Jab is a blow provocation done by hand in the front position to distract the opponent. Not infrequently blow jab could be ejected violently. Strength and speed jab is in need to knock out the opponent. Therefore we need the right training. Objective: Training hit by the load and drive pulley with weights aims to increase the strength and speed of the jab and stright punch blow. Method: Experimental research has been done with the design Randomized Pre-Post Test Control Group Design on Student SKO Flobamora Kupang. Total sample of 18 people, divided into two groups and each group of nine people. Group 1 was given training with weights and hit the second group training encourages pulley with weights. Research for six weeks with a frequency of exercise three times a week. speed is measured with a stopwatch, Strength was measured with a hand dynamometer before and after treatment, and the differences were statistically tested. Result: T independent test shows the speed and the strength among the groups before the training did not differ (24.44? 0.882 /5 seconds and power punches 36.44 ? 1,878 kg After training the average speed punch 24.44?0.882 blow before training 21,00± 1,118 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches 33.11 ? 1.900 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches 38.22 ± 1.202 kg. In Group 2 average speed of 33.56?1.590 kg. Average speed punch after training were 29.11 ? 1,364 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches ?Results of paired t-test showed the average speed of a punch in Group 1 before training 21.33±1,118 (p > 0.05) and after training was significantly different (p <0.05) test shows Training hit with loads more increase the strength and speed of the push pulley with weights. Conclusion: Training concluded hit with a load greatly increase the speed and strength of the left and right straight punches instead of pushing a pulley with weights together to give the effect of increased power and speed and a left straight punchright (p <0.05). An increase in one group is better than the training push pulley with weights on the strength and speed of the left and right straight punches. Suggestion: It is advisable to use a hitting training with weights in the training process in the recruitment of athletes, because it gives a better effect.

Abstract

The speed is one of the biomotoriccomponents which dominantin the run race100 meters. 100 meters run is part of athletics which has a short duration, highintensity and anaerobic systems develop. The purpose of this study was todetermine the increasing of 100 meter run speed, therefore this research is anexperimental study was conducted in SMK N Kakulukmesak Belu regency NTT,for 6 months from March - May 2014, with the frequency of exercise 3 times aweek. This study uses two types of training, and were divided into two treatmentgroups, ie group one is the training of interval run 4 x 50 meter on the sandybeach 4 reps 3 sets andgroup twois the interval run 4 x 50 meter in the yard 4 reps3 sets, implemented in the afternoon at 15.30 to 17.00 pm in the yard of SMK NKakulukmesak and Atapupu Beach, Belu regency - NTT. Sample was 20 people,chosen simple randomly from a population of 53 people who meet therequirements of inclusion and exclusion. The number of samples for each group is10 people. The speed of 100 meter run was measured using stopwatch, while the100-meter dash speed data before and after training in both groups, were testedwith parametric statistical analysis. With a paired t-test of mean difference testsobtained the 100 meter dash speed after training on each group with p <0.05. Themean speed of 100 meters before training in the group one is 16.06 seconds and13.01 seconds after training. Means increased speed of 3:05 seconds, or at =19:02%. While the average running speed of 100 meters in group two beforetraining is 16.02 seconds and after training is 13.95 seconds, the increasing ofspeed is 12.91%. This shows that the average speed of 100 meters before and aftertraining on each group there is a significant difference, with value p<0.05. Thusthe training of group 1is interval run 4 x 50 meter on the sandy beach and intervaltraining run 4 x 50 meters in the yard, after training is equal to increase the speedof the 100 meterin 10th grade student of SMK N Kakulukmesak. However, in theanalysis of data on the paired sample test, the speed training of group oneon thesandy beach is faster = 0.94 seconds than thetraining of group twoin the yard.

Abstract

Peranan vitamin D pada patofisiologi obesitas masih menjadi pro dan kontra di kalangan ilmuwan. Hubungan antara obesitas dengan rendahnya konsentrasi 25 (OH) D3 tampaknya sudah sangat jelas, meskipun mekanisme mengenai rendahnya konsentrasi 25 (OH) D3 masih belum jelas, begitu pula akibat yang ditimbulkan dari rendahnya kadar 25(OH) D3 tersebut. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana metabolism vitamin D yang terjadi pada tubuh penderita obes, sehingga dapat menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya defisiensi vitamin D pada obesitas. Adapun metode penulisannya adalah melalui studi literatur artikel tentang defisiensi vitamin D pada obesitas yang terbit dari tahun 2010-2017. Ada dua teori yang menjelaskan rendahnya kadar vitamin D pada orang obesitas yaitu: teori sekuestrasi dan teori degradasi. Teori Sekuestrasi: menyatakan bahwa individu obese mengalami kegagalan dalam mengkonversi pre vitamin D menjadi vitamin D di jaringan kulitnya, di mana jaringan lemak yang berlebih yang dapat menyita vitamin yang larut dalam lemak sehingga kadar serum 25(OH)D3 menjadi rendah. Teori Degradasi: menyatakan bahwa banyaknya jaringan lemak akan merangsang infiltrasi dari sel-sel imun yang teraktivasi akan menyebabkan inflamasi jaringan adipose dan penurunan (degradasi) vitamin D, yang menyebabkan turunnya kadar vitamin D pada kasus obesitas. Disimpulkan bahwa obesitas berhubungan dengan rendahnya kadar vitamin D yang rendah di dalam tubuh, teori sekuestrasi dan teori degradasi menjelaskan rendahnya kadar vitamin D pada orang obesitas.Kata kunci: Defisiensi Vitamin D, Teori sekuestrasi dan degradasi, Obesitas.

Abstract

Physical exercise leads to an increase on the pulse rate. This increase was due to increased needfor blood that transports O2 to the tissues of the body active, transporting waste material such asCO2 and other metabolic byproducts. Increasing the intensity of exercise, the exercise pulse rateincreases, on the contrary decreased intensity of exercise, the pulse rate decreases. These changesare regulated by the nervous system and the hormonal system. This is the acute effects ofexercise. If the physical exercise done regularly and continuously in the long term, there will bea decrease in the resting pulse rate. It is a chronic effect of exercise. This article aims to describethe effects of physical exercise on the pulse rate.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIntroduction: The objective of a basketball game is to insert the ball into the opponent's basket and keep our basket alone so as not to concede the ball. This becomes important because it determines points to improve the ability and maximize points in the game so this needs to be trained. Free throw shots can be done using one hand or two hands. Whereas a free throw is a shot given to a player for committing an offense. This shot is done in the exact position behind the line of free shots in accordance with the rules. Purpose:This study aims to compare training model 1 (beef concept with push up and jogging) and training model 2 (beef concept with dumble and jogging) to improve the accuracy of free throw shooting.This research was conducted on 40 students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuta Selatan who were chosen in simple random which has fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was divided into two groups so that each group was 20 people and given different treatment for six weeks. Group 1 was given model 1 training and Group 2 was given a model 2 training. Methods:The data obtained were analyzed by paired t- test to find the difference between before and after training in both groups and t-independent test to find the difference of shooting free throw accuracy between groups both before and after the training. The meaning limit is 0.05. The research design used is experimental design Randomized Pre and Post test Group Design. According to Pocock's (2008) theory, each group consisted of 20 groups of 1 and group 2. All groups were given preliminary tests, between treatment one and two treatment were given concurrent training, then each treatment was observed.Results:The result showed that the accuracy of free throw shooting between groups after training was 3.85 ± 1.09 in group 1 and in group 2 was 2.90 ± 1.12. The average accuracy of free throw shooting in training model 1 was higher than with model 2 training which was statistically significantly different with p = 0,010 (p <0,05).Conclution:From the results of this study it is concluded that the training of model 1 further improves the accuracy of free throw shooting rather than training model 2, Suggestion: in practice it is suggested to use training model 1 to improve the accuracy of free throw shooting. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kondisi pasca stroke akan menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan struktur dan fungsi anggota tubuh, salah satunya fungsional meraih yang disebabkan oleh kompensasi karena hilangnya kontrol mengendalikan kinerja otot. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja otot bahu pada fungsional meraih diperlukan latihan yang dapat melihat langsung kinerja otot yang terjadi pada saat gerakan meraih, sehingga dapat mengurangi kompensasi yang terjadi serta mengontrol kinerja otot. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui Biofeedback Exercise lebih baik daripada Active Assisted Exercise untuk meningkatkan kinerja otot bahu pada fungsional meraih posisi 900 fleksi bahu pasien pasca stroke. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre and post test group design. Kelompok Kontrol diberikan Active Assisted Exercise dan Kelompok Perlakuan diberikan Biofeedback Exercise. Jumlah sampel tiap Kelompok sebanyak 8 orang dan masing-masing Kelompok diberikan latihan dengan durasi waktu 30 menit, 3 kali seminggu selama 4 minggu. Tes pengukuran kinerja otot menggunakan Surface-Electromyography. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada Kelompok Perlakuan terjadi kemampuan kinerja otot bahu dengan nilai rerata pre test 101,38 ± 21,13 dan post test 77,16 ± 19,41, dan didapatkan nilai p < 0,001. Pada Kelompok Kontrol terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kinerja otot bahu dengan hasil rerata pre test 82,50 ± 17,44 dan post test 64,00 ± 16,76 dan di dapatkan nilai p < 0,001. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan peningkatan kinerja otot bahu antara Kelompok Perlakuan dan Kelompok Kontrol dengan nilai p < 0,001 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Biofeedback Exercise lebih baik daripada Active Assisted Exercise untuk meningkatkan kinerja otot bahu pada fungsional meraih posisi 900 fleksi bahu pasien pasca stroke.

Abstract

The work attitude ofstampbatik workers in conductedtheir dailyworkin standingposition. Stands work attitudeina longtimewillmake theworkeralwaystryingto balancethe body thus causing the static load on the feet. Static muscle contraction in along timewill cause ashort age of muscle blood flow, which results in reduced energy exchangeand egress metabolic wastein the active muscles, thus causing fatigue and pain. Theprocessing volvesa lot of loading on static muscle is faster cause muscle complaints,and this affects of the ability and decrease in labor productivity result. The purposeforknowing whether combination of contract relax stretching and infrared are better todecrease calf muscle pain compared with pedal exercise under compression and infraredon the stamp batik workerin home industries Buaran Pekalongan. Types of experimentalresearch, with the randomized study design pre and post test control group design.Group-1 (n =14) subjectswho receivedpedal exercise under compressionandinfrared,whileGroup-2 (n=14) get contract relax stretching and infrared. Analysis ofthe datawiththePaired Sample t-Test design mean scoresin the calf muscle pain in group1beforetreatmentwas142,857 mmHg and after 6 times treatment be172,142 mmHg, p=0.000. While the scores of calf muscle pain in Group-2 before treatment was 142,857mmHg and after 6 times treatment be170,714 mmHg, p =0.000. DifferenttestgroupswithGroup1 and Group 2 with astatistical analysis of Independent Sample-tTest value of p=0,871 (p>0.05).The conclusions obtained were exercise programsofcontract relax stretchingand infrared with pedal exercise under compression and infrared together can decrease calf muscle pain on the stamp batik worker. There is nosignificant different between the turn combination of contract relax stretching andinfrared with pedal exercise under compression and infraredto decrease calf muscle painon the stamp batik worker.

Abstract

The performance of soccer branch at SMK SMSR Ubud has not shown maximum result. To increase the performance of soccer branch, it was done by plyometric diagonal cone hop training and front cone hop. This research aim to know that plyometric diagonal cone hop training and front cone hop is to increase leg muscle strength and kick velocity, and plyometric diagonal cone hop training is more effective than front cone hop to increase leg muscle strength and kick velocity. The research method is experimental method The Randomized Pre and Post Test Group Design. The samples of research are 30 soccer players at SMK SMSR Ubud and divided into 2 (two) groups. The first group was handled with Plyometric diagonal cone hop training, and the second group was handled with Plyometric front cone hop training. The frequencies of training are 3 times in a week for 6 weeks. Leg muscle strength measured by leg dynamometer and kick velocity measured by meter indicator and video recording. The result of the intergroup t-paired test of this research for the first group before and after training that leg muscle mean is 97,80 ± 19,91 and 140,1 ± 10,01 kgs and kick velocity is 13,21 ± 2,16 and after training 21,86 ± 4,88 m/s with (p< 0,01). While the result for the second group before and after training that leg muscle mean is 98,00 ± 14,56 and after training 126 ± 12,7 kgs and kick velocity is 11,18 ± 1,59 and after training 16,18 ± 2,48 m/s with (p<0,01). Results of increased leg muscle strength and kick velocity between both of groups before and after training tested by independent t-test with p=0,002 & p<0,01 that is means there are significant differentiation. The conclusion is both of this training can be used to increase leg muscle strength and kick velocity. But, Plyometric diagonal cone hop is more effective than front cone hop to increase leg muscle strength and kick velocity.

Abstract

Many athletes who suffer Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS), they using kinesiotape while playing or less than two weeks, this condition make a question of there are efficacy when used kinesiotape while playing and practicing. The purpose of this study to ensure the use of kinesiotape for three days did not differ with adhesive placebo in reducing the risk of repetitive injury and q-angle in patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS). The experimental research method to design randomized clinical trial design. Sample of 17 athletes who suffer from PFPS and time of observation for three days. Divided into two groups, kinesiotape groups (n = 9) as the treatment and placebo groups (n = 8) as a control. Measurement instruments used were Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and Q-angle. The results of this study, kinesiotape group able to reduce the risk of repetitive injury with p = 0.002 (p <0,05). Placebo group was also able to reduce the risk of repetitive injury p = 0.01 (p <0,05). Kinesiotape able to decrease q- angle with p = 0.004 (p <0,05). Placebo group was also able to reduce the q-angle with p = 0.008 (p <0,05). At different test measurements FMS using independent t-test p = 0.777 (p> 0.05), and a different test with q-angle measurements using the Mann-Whitney test p = 0.63 (p> 0,05). The conclusion that the use of kinesiotape and adhesives placebo can reduce the risk of recurrent injury and the degree of q-angle for three days. It is clear that using kinesiotape have the same effectiveness with placebo were not elastic adhesive while playing a game and practicing.

Abstract

Anaerobic threshold is the level of oxygen consumption where lactate concentration in blood increasing rapidly and systemic. One of exercises which increase anaerobic threshold is high intensity interval training (HIIT), with training load over anaerobic threshold in a short time and interspersed with active recovery. Another form is steady state training (SST), with training load approaching anaerobic threshold constantly. The purpose of this study to determine differences in the effectiveness of HIIT and SST among students member of short distance running athletic extracurricular groups in Denpasar. This study is pre test and post test experimental group design for 6 weeks and three times a week. Samples included 24 people divided into 2 groups. Group 1 HIIT with the training load of 95% maximum heart rate and Group 2 SST with the training load 80% of maximum heart rate. Measurement of anaerobic threshold by determining Heart Rate Deflection Point (HRDP) according to the Conconi track protocol. The results of the study in both groups obtained subjects 12-16 years old, male, body weight 50-65 kg, height 160-178 cm, and IMT from 16.33 to 22.27 kg / m2. Mean of anaerobic threshold before HIIT training 178.17 ± 2.368 x/minute, while after HIIT increased to 197.83 ± 3.460 x/minute. Mean of anaerobic threshold before SST 177.17 ± 1.586 x/minute, while after SST increased to 185.25 ± 1.288 x/minute. Test of different mean of anaerobic threshold pretest within Group 1 and Group 2 showed that p=0,237 (p>0,05). Test of different mean of increasing anaerobic threshold before and after training in Group 1 and Group 2 using Independent t-Test data test post two groups showed that p = 0.01 (p <0.05). Its concluded HIIT increase anaerobic threshold more than SST among students member of short distance running athletic extracurricular groups in Denpasar. Suggestions for this study are expected coaches able to provide proper training and monitoring methods HRDP evaluation in improving the achievement of athletes.
