Abstract

Pendahuluan: Nyeri punggung bawah (NPB) miogenik adalah perasaan tidak nyaman di daerah punggung bawah yang disebabkan oleh faktor otot itu sendiri atau faktor patologis lainnya yang menyebabkan terjadinya disabilitas. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lumbopelvic stabilization exercise lebih menurunkan disabilitas dibandingkan dengan William’s flexion exercise pada pasien NPB miogenik. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan pre dan post test group design. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang mengeluh NPB miogenik sebanyak 28 orang yang berumur 30-55 tahun. Subjek terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok, dimana Kelompok 1 (n = 14) diberikan intervensi lumbopelvic stabilization exercise sedangkan Kelompok 2 (n = 14) diberikan intervensi William’s flexion exercise. Diberikan perlakuan 3 kali seminggu selama 4 minggu. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan consecutive sampling. Level disabilitas diukur dengan modified oswestry disability index. Hasil: Uji Paired Sample T-test data disabilitas pada Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 didapatkan hasil 17,00+7,20 dan 24,29+9,58 dengan nilai p=0,000 yang menunjukkan pada kedua kelompok terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna. Uji Independent Samples Test Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 menunjukkan hasil p=0,031 yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan bermakna pada penurunan disabilitas. Simpulan: lumbopelvic stabilization exercise lebih menurunkan disabilitas dibandingkan dengan William’s flexion exercise pada pasien NPB miogenik.Kata Kunci: Nyeri punggung bawah miogenik, Lumbopelvic stabilization exercise, William’s flexion exercise

Abstract

Myofascia Trigger Point Syndrome (MTrPs) is trigger point muscle happens in musculoskeletal. Factors which strengthen and trigger the emerge of MTrPs are the muscle contraction which happens continuously, poor body position, wrong body position or movement, poor occupation activity and unsuitable workplace arrangement that affect the unergonomic work behavior. The objective of this reseacrh is to reveal the effectivity of  integrated neuromuscular  inhibition techniques (init ) and massage efflurage in decreasing pain and disability in myofasial trigger point of upper trapesius muscle. The subjects this research are 34 people which are taken randomly in Puskesmas 2 Kartosuro, Surakarta with 17 samples of each group. Group 1 is integrated neuromuscular inhibition techniques (init ) and group 2 is massage efflurage. The data used in this research is NDI scale taken before and after therapy. The data collected is processed by using differential test through computer base of SPSS 15.0 version. The data analysis by using paired sample t-test, in group 1 the data resulted before therapy is 48,35±6,68 and the data resulted after therapy is 25,94±5,87 with p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Whereas in group 2, the  resulted before therapy is 47,53±5,17 and the data resulted before therapy is 28,00±8,91 with p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). To conclude, based on the data resulted in this research, integrated neuromuscular  inhibition techniques (init ) and massage effleurage are there is no difference decrease pain and disability in myofascial trigger point of upper trapezius muscle.

Abstract

Background: Lack of physical activity is often caused by a lack of motivation as well as children today are more interested in modern games or online games. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine differences in physical fitness and affective aspects as the effect of training kids athletics and traditional games Megala-gala on male students of SDN 14 Pemecutan Denpasar. Method: This research uses experimental design, Pre-Post test Control Group Design on 24 students aged 10-12 years. Were selected randomly and were divided into 2 groups. The first group was given training kids athltics and Group II was given the traditional game Megala-gala. Training is given three times a week for 6 weeks. Physical fitness was measured using a test run of 600 meters, while affective measured after training using a questionnaire. Ananlisis use significance level 0, 05. Result: The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in physical fitness and affective aspects after intervention between groups with p = 0.00, but it also found significant differences in each group with a value of p = 0.00. Group I found a mean baseline of 3.24 ± 0.07 minutes increased to 2.38 ± 0.15 minutes (enchancement 26%) and in Group II preliminary data increased by 3.24 ± 0.11 minutes to 2.98 ± 0.11 minutes (enchancement 8%). On the affective aspects significant differences in; cooperation and responsibility with a value of p <0.05. Conclusion: It was concluded that training kids athletics further improve the physical fitness than the traditional game-Megala-gala but kids athletics training no more effect on the affective aspect than traditional game Megala-gala.

Abstract

Physical fitness is very important to facilitate a person perform daily activities without causing significant fatigue . In an effort to improve the physical fitness training needs to be implemented and measured regularly.The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of physical fitness in terms of general endurance, the training Gymnastics Gymnastics Ayo Bangkit and Ayo Bersatu Series. The sample is students at Midwifery Department in Polytechnic of Health, Ministry of Health with an average age of 18 years . This study is a randomized experimental design with pretest - posttest control group design with a total sample of 11 people in each group . Samples were selected , respectively then each group was given training exercises . Treatment 1 (P1) given training and treatment of Gymnastics Ayo Bangkit  while treatment 2 (P2) was given training of Gymnastics Ayo Bersatu  Series 2 . Training conducted for 8 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week starting at 17:00 to 18:00 pm located in the campus of Midwifery Department of Polytechnic of Health, Ministry of Health Denpasar. The results of computer-assisted analysis showed a significant decrease in the time of aerobic run 2.4 km at (p < 0.05) for both groups of gymnastics , and also an increase in the pulse rate at the end of exercise treatment in both groups . Ayo Bangkit Gymnastics group increased pulse rate by 11 % and the group of Ayo Bersatu  Gymnastics Series 2 by 6 % . Besides occurring differences training increased pulse rate significantly (p < 0.05) . Results of statistical analysis of differences in the time of aerobic run 2.4 miles in P1 and P2 is 42 % and the difference in pulse rate of P1 reaches training zone while P2 is not at the training zone . P1 does not get to the training zone .

Abstract

The long term use of analgesic drugs in patients with myofascial syndrome had a bad effect. So it is very important to find another methods. Upper trapezius muscle myofascial syndrome is a collection of symptoms such as chronic pain with increased sensitivity to pressure, muscle spasms, tenderness, stiffness, limited motion, and weakness of the upper trapezius muscle. The aim of this study was to compare the rate of decline in the neck disability of interventions for Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibitation Technique (INIT), Myofascial Release Syndrome (MRT), and ultrasound therapy. This research used experimental method with pre-test and post-test group design. This experiment was conducted in RSPI Puri Indah, Jakarta. These samples included 20 people who were divided into two groups of samples, are 10 people in the first group and 10 people in the second group. Samples in the first group had an average age of 30.9 years old with men as much as 4 people and women as much as 6 people. While the second group had an average age of 32.8 years old with men as much as five people and women as many as five people. The results of testing the hypothesis by using test independent sample t-test showed significantly differences between the average after intervention disability first group with mean after intervention disabilities neck second group, with the value of the first group (21.6 ± 4.6)% and the second group (15.6 ± 3.6)% with values p <0.05. It was concluded that the Inhibitation Integrated Neuromuscular Technique (INIT) and ultrasonic therapy was better in reducing the neck disability in the upper trapezius muscle myofascial syndrome, compared to Myofascial Release Syndrome (MRT) and ultrasound therapy. The decline in neck disability will significantly optimize the functional activity of the cervical spine.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Sprain ankle kronis merupakan overstretch pada ligamen compleks lateral ankle pada gerak inversi dan plantar fleksi. Sprain ankle kronis menyebabkan instabilitas ankle, yang disertai dengan reaksi penurunan kekuatan otot ankle karena perubahan aktivasi otot. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektifitas wobble board exercise dan isometric exercise dengan wobble board exercise dan calf raise exercise terhadap peningkatkan stabilitas fungsional ankle pada penderita chronic ankle sprain. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi experimental dengan rancangan pre test and post test two group design. Dalam penelitian ini 9 responden diberikan wobble board exercise dan isometric exercise selama 6 minggu dengan frekuensi latihan 2 kali seminggu, dan 9 responden diberikan wobble board exercise dan calf raise exercise selama 6 minggu frekuensi latihan 2 kali seminggu. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah balance error scoring system (BESS).. Hasil: Hasil analisis statistik parametrik dengan paired sample t-test, menunjukkan kedua kelompok perlakuan secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan stabilitas ankle. Rerata nilai BESS sebelum perlakuan pada Kelompok I dengan rerata 30,00±2,784 dan sesudah perlakuan dengan rerata 11,67±0,866 dengan nilai p= 0,001 (p< 0,05), dan sebelum perlakuan pada Kelompok II 31,67±3,162 dan Sesudah Perlakuan dengan nilai 16,67±2,828 dengan nilai p= 0,001 (p< 0,05). Uji rerata nilai BESS post Kelompok I dan post Kelompok II dengan Independent sample t-test diantara kedua kelompok signifikan dapat meningkatkan stabilitas ankle dengan nilai Kelompok I 11,67±0,866, dan kelompok II 16,67±2,828 dan p= 0,001 (p<0,005). Rerata selisih nilai BESS pada Kelompok I 18,33±2,398 dan pada Kelompok II 15,00±1,323 sebesar 3,33 dengan nilai p= 0,001 (p<0,005} menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dalam meningkatkan stabilitas fungsional ankle. Simpulan pada penelitian adalah wobble board exercise dan isometrick exercise lebih efektif meningkatan stabilitas fungsional ankle pada penderita chronic ankle sprain daripada wobble board exercise dan calf raise exercise.

Abstract

Kasus Cerebral Palsy Spastik Diplegi secara statistik mengalamipeningkatan. Permasalahan yang muncul yaitu adanya abnormalitas tonus posturalyang berpengaruh pada kecepatan berjalan. Metode latihan yang sering digunakansampai saat ini adalah terapi Bobath. Akan tetapi beberapa penelitian dan studikasus membuktikan penambahan latihan Hidroterapi lebih meningkatkankecepatan jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan penambahan latihanhidroterapi pada terapi bobath lebih meningkatkan kecepatan berjalan padaCerebral Palsy Spastik Diplegi.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimentaldengan pre-test dan post-test control group design. Eksperimen ini dilaksanakandi Klinik Fisioterapi YPAC Surakarta. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 16 orangyang dibagi ke dalam 2 kelompok sampel yaitu 8 orang pada kelompok perlakuandan 8 orang pada kelompok kontrol. Kelompok perlakuan diberi penambahanlatihan Hidroterapi dan kelompok kontrol diberi terapi Bobath. Pelatihandilakukan 3 x per minggu selama 1 bulan. Alat ukur yang digunakan untukpengumpulan data yaitu dengan 10 metre walk test. 10 metre walk test digunakanuntuk mengukur kecepatan berjalan sejauh 10 meter baik sebelum intervensimaupun sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian hipotesis ini menggunakan uji pairedt test menunjukan kecepatan berjalan sebelum kelompok I sebelum perlakuan(20,01±2,23) dan setelah perlakuan (14,16±2,41) dengan p=0,000 (p<0,05) dankelompok II sebelum perlakuan (20,17±1,53) dan setelah perlakuan (18,08±2,00)dengan p=0,001 (p<0,05). Uji t test independent untuk menunjukan kecepatanberjalan antara sesudah perlakuan kelompok I dengan kelompok II. Padapengujian tersebut diperoleh hasil adanya peningkatan kecepatan berjalan sesudahintervensi pada kelompok I (14,16±2,41) yang dibandingkan dengan kelompok II(18,08±2,00) nilai p=0,003. Disimpulkan Terapi Bobath dan Latihan Hidroterapidapat meningkatkan kecepatan berjalan pada cerebral palsy spastic diplegi namunpenambahan latihan Hidroterapi pada terapi bobath secara signifikan lebihmeningkatkan kecepatan berjalan pada Cerebral Palsy Spastik Diplegi.

Abstract

ABSTRACTExercise may improve cognitive function and slow the onset of neurodegeneration, but the underlying mechanism had not yet known certainly. The purpose of this paper is to know the mechanism of exercise in improving cognitive function in terms of biomolecular aspects. The method of this paper is literature study of articles about the benefits of exercise in improving cognitive function in terms of biomolecular aspects. Cognitive function is a function related to perception, learning process, concentration, memory and problem solving. Exercise is useful for improving cognitive function mediated by a neurotropin-brain brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). BDNF has important role in neural plasticity, nerve excitability, and especially in learning process and memory improving. Exercise can improve cognitive function by inducing increased BDNF expression that occurs through the mechanism of epigenetic regulatory change. The change in epigenetic regulation caused by exercise through DNA methylation, which increase the expression of BDNF mRNA in the hippocampus. The change in epigenetic regulation caused by exercise, which also increase the expression of BDNF mRNA is a histone modification. The increased expression of mRNA in the hippocampus is not only increase synapse plasticity in the hippocampus area but also synapse transmission, which lead to the increasing of molecules expression related to learning and memory.Keywords: Sport, Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), Epigenetic.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Aktifitas yang dilakukan seseorang dalam kesehariannya tidak lepas dari aktifitas multitasking dimana pada aktifitas tersebut minimal seseorang harus mampu melakukan dua aktifitas sekaligus (dualtask), lansia dengan gangguan kognitif atau tidak mampu melakukan aktifitas ganda atau dualtask mempunyai resiko jatuh yang tinggi. Salah satu tindakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan dualtask pada lansia adalah dengan latihan Tai Chi. Tai Chi dan Ai Chi merupakan dua metode latihan yang terbukti mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia dimana mengurangi resiko jatuh salah satunya. Tujuan penelitian untuk membuktikan apakah ada perbedaan pelatihan Tai Chi dan pelatihan Ai Chi dalam meningkatkan performa dual task pada lansia. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan selama 6 minggu di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Mataram Lombok dimana sampel penelitian adalah pasien poliklinik fisioterapi yang berusia 60-80 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan two group pre and post test design dengan jumlah sampel 34 orang yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu Kelompok Ai Chi (n = 17) dan Kelompok Tai Chi (n =17). Performa dual task diukur menggunakan time up and go test (TUG) dual task. Hasil: Nilai performa dualtask pelatihan Tai Chi dan pelatihan Ai Chi meningkat bermakna dengan nilai p<0,05. Nilai performa dual task setelah pelatihan Tai Chi dan pelatihan Ai Chi tidak berbeda bermakna dengan nilai performa dual task p>0,05. Simpulan: Pelatihan Tai Chi dan Pelatihan Ai Chi mempunyai efek yang sama dalam meningkatkan performa dual task pada lansia.

Abstract

Background: Agility is a physical ability to change directions quickly without any balance disturbances. This capability is required in futsal. To achieve the agility, a continuous andISSN: 2302-688X Sport and Fitness JournalVolume 5, No.2, Juli 2017: 1-92systematic training is necessary. Objective: This study was conducted to compare the effect of zig-zag run training and shuttle run drill towards the dribble agility in the game of futsal. Method: Experimental research design with pretest-post test control group over the students in PJKR study program PGRI University Kupang was employed. The sample consisted of 28 persons and was divided into two groups comprising 14 persons in each group. Group 1 was given the zig-zag run training while group 2 was given the shutlle run drill and both kinds of training lasted for 8 weeks with a frequency of exercise three times per week (24 sessions). The measurement instrument used was the dribble agility using the method of measurement by Nurhasan 2008. The measurements were conducted before and after the treatment. Result: The average of the dribble agility in futsal was tested using Paired t-test and the effect of decrease of the agility to dribble with the Independent t- test. The average of dribble execution time in group 1 before training was 15.6 ± 0.7 seconds, and after training was 11.2 ± 0.6 seconds with a difference of 4.4 seconds with 28.4% (p <0.05) increase of the percentage, while in group 2 the average of dribble execution time before training was 15.7 ± 0.6 seconds, and after training was 12.9 ± 0.6 seconds with a difference of 2.8 seconds with the percentage of decrease was 17.9% (p <0.05). Both Zig zag run training and shuttle run training affected the increase of dribble agility, however the Zig zag run training had more significant effect. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the zig-zag run training is more effective in improving the dribble agility than the shuttle run training. Suggestion: Due to this, it is recommended that the zig-zag run training shall be adopted for the sports that need agility because the zig zag training has been proven effective to improve the agility, therefore the zig zag training may also be used to improve the performance of certain sports.
