Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of school rules and obstacles faced by students in running the school order in public junior secondary school in Banda Aceh. The method of this research is descriptive with the mixed approach. The location of this research is located in three public junior secondary schools namely SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh, SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh, and SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh with a population of second and third-grade students as many as 1046 students. Sampling is calculated using Slovin formula with α = 5% that is 289. The data collection is done by using questionnaire of Likert scale model and interview. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research indicates that almost all students admitted that they have implemented good school rules, namely the percentage of excellent category as much as 73.9% and the percentage of good category as much as 25.7%. The tendency of good disciplinary execution is also seen in each item. However, in some cases, there are still violations that are recognized by the students. While the obstacles faced by students in implementing this school order comes from internal factors such as self-regulation and external factors in the form of family and teacher stimulants in schools.Keywords: Implementation, Constraints, Code of Conduct, students, Junior High School

Martunis, M.Si. Keywords: Communication Patterns, Teachers, Children's Mental BackwardnessBasically, communication is needed by everyone, either normal or people with special needs such as children who have mental retardation. Communication patterns greatly affect the existence of persons with mental retardation in doing habit. Children with mental retardation overall retarded growth and weakness in the psychological field. This study aims to determine the communication pattern teacher with child mental retardation and obstacles encountered in the process of communication in Banda Aceh YPPC. This study used a qualitative approach. The subjects were 4 teachers. The object of research is the communication pattern teacher with mentally retarded children. Data is collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the communication pattern teacher with mental retardation in the child YPPC Banda Aceh is a pattern of two-way communication occurs reciprocal (feedback) between teachers and students, but not balanced in the communication process to respond to what you want to say by the child and give the child a positive appreciation of the initiative storytelling and develop empathetic communication. In practice, the patterns of communication between teachers and children take place relatively good mental retardation. Obstacles faced by teachers, among others, misperceptions between teachers and students in the communication process of learning as children grow and develop, so that his curiosity was sometimes greater. As for his mental development is not balanced in the process of communication with teachers. In addition, other constraints that teachers face is difficult to change the mindset mainset or students to be more successful in the learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Harga diri yang sehat ditandai dengan perilaku percaya diri ketika dihadapkan pada situasi sosial, jika muncul perasaan tidak nyaman dan merasa diri buruk dapat mencerminkan tingkat harga diri remaja sehingga memunculkan kecemasan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh harga diri terhadap kecemasan sosial pada remaja secara signifikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa di SMAN 3, SMAN 11 dan SMAN 8 kelas XI dan XII berjumlah 1463 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga diperoleh sampel dengan jumlah 314 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala psikologi dengan skor 1-4. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan ada pengaruh signifikan harga diri terhadap kecemasan sosial, yang ditunjukkan dengan Fhitung sebesar 37,575, nilai koefisien regresi sebesar -0,389 pada taraf signifikansi 0,000. Koefisien regresi sebagai nilai arah penentu ramalan (prediksi) yang menunjukkan nilai penurunan variabel kecemasan sosial, artinya setiap kenaikan 1 nilai harga diri pada siswa maka kecemasan sosial menurun sebesar 0,389. Penurunan nilai kecemasan sosial menunjukkan koefisien bernilai negatif dari harga diri artinya semakin tinggi nilai pada harga diri maka semakin rendah kecemasan sosial remaja pada siswa di SMA Negeri Banda Aceh. Kontribusi yang diberikan harga diri terhadap rendahnya kecemasan sosial pada remaja sebesar 15,1 %, sedangkan 84,9 % kecemasan sosial pada remaja dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat mengkaji lebih lanjut mengenai Pengaruh Harga Diri terhadap Faktor Lainnya. Kata Kunci:Harga Diri, Kecemasan Sosial

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the level of diniah education commitment, the level of deviant behavior, and the relationship between the two variables. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative and significant relationship between the commitments of diniah education with deviant behavior. This research is a kind of quantitative research with descriptive and correlational method. The sample in this study amounted to 165 people. Sampling technique applied was probability random sampling. Data collection is used by distributing scale instruments. The results of data analysis showed that the commitment of education diniah in students was varied; the highest percentage (43%) is in the high category. Meanwhile, deviant behavior of more than half (54%) is in low category. Result of correlation analysis between commitment of education diniah with deviant behavior show r (xy) = -0.380 with significant level p 0.05. Thus it can be concluded there is a significant correlation between the commitments of diniah education with deviant behavior, the negative correlation value shows the higher the commitment of students’ diniah education, the lower the deviant behavior.Keywords: Commitment Exploration of Religion, Deviant Behavior     ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat komitmen pendidikan diniah, tingkat perilaku menyimpang, serta kaitan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara komitmen pendidikan diniah dengan perilaku menyimpang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 165 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability random sampling. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara menyebarkan instrumen yang berbentuk skala. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen pendidikan diniah pada siswa cukup bervariasi, persentase terbanyak (43%) berada pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan perilaku menyimpang lebih dari setengah (54%) berada pada kategori rendah. Hasil analisis korelasi antara komitmen pendidikan diniah dengan perilaku menyimpang menunjukkan r(xy) = -0.380 dengan tingkat signifikan p 0.05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara komitmen pendidikan diniah dengan perilaku menyimpang, nilai korelasi yang negatif tersebut menunjukkan semakin tinggi komitmen pendidikan diniah siswa maka akan semakin rendah perilaku menyimpang.Kata kunci: Komitmen Pendidikan Diniah, Perilaku Menyimpang

Abstract

ABSTRACT Academic stress can interfere with the completion of the final task and add to the study period of the student. This study aims to (1) describe students' academic stress and (2) to know the effort of time management in overcoming academic stress. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive approach. This research data is sourced from interview result to 7 students of FKIP Guidance and Counseling of Syiah Kuala University whose study period has been more than 6 years. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The findings indicate that the academic stress symptoms experienced by students are biological reactions of increased heart rate, cold sweating and tremor; Psychological reactions are experiencing a feeling of nervousness, often forgetting something, experiencing feelings of sadness and disappointment; as well as behavioral and social reactions are disrupted in socializing activities, sleep patterns and eating patterns disorders and increased frequency of smoking. Time management efforts to overcome academic stress are done by arranging the schedule of activities, noting the types of tasks to be done, preparing before the activities, planning the effective time to create tasks, searching for task materials and dividing the time between making tasks and breaks. Keywords: Time Management, Academic Stress, Student ABSTRAK Stres akademik dapat mengganggu penyelesaian tugas akhir dan menambah masa studi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menggambarkan stres akademik mahasiswa dan (2) mengetahui upaya manajemen waktu dalam mengatasi stres akademik. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini bersumber dari hasil wawancara kepada 7 orang mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala yang masa studinya sudah lebih dari 6 tahun. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa gejala stres akademik yang dialami mahasiswa adalah berupa reaksi biologis yaitu detak jantung meningkat, keringat dingin dan suara bergemetar; reaksi psikologis yaitu mengalami perasaan gugup, sering melupakan sesuatu, mengalami perasaan sedih dan kecewa; serta reaksi tingkah laku dan sosial yaitu terganggu dalam kegiatan bersosialisasi, gangguan pola tidur dan pola makan serta meningkatnya frekuensi merokok. Upaya manajemen waktu untuk mengatasi stres akademik yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara menyusun jadwal kegiatan, mencatat jenis-jenis tugas yang harus dikerjakan, melakukan persiapan sebelum kegiatan, merencanakan waktu efektif untuk membuat tugas, mencari bahan-bahan tugas dan membagi waktu antara membuat tugas dan istirahat. Kata kunci: Manajemen Waktu, Stres Akademik, Mahasiswa.

Abu Bakar, M.Si., (2) Nurbaity, S.Pd., M.Ed.Keywords: Lifestyle, LGBT, CommunityHomosexual is a growing problem faced by current societies. The same-sex devotees have their own traditions in establishing their space identity and lifestyle and often try to conceal their sexual orientation from the public. This study aimed to learn the lifestyles of the LGBT community in Banda Aceh. This study used the qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were 5 homosexual singles aged 19 to 27 years, while the objects were their social lifestyles. The data were collected through interviews. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that factors affecting the homosexual lifestyle in the society were activities, interests, and opinions. Homosexual lifestyles are the lifestyles of a homosexual person with diverged sexual orientation such as interacting and having sexual intercourse with the same-sex individuals. The sexual behaviors of the homosexual couples were similar to that of the normal couples such as holding hands and hugging. The main distinctive behavior was that they preferred a private sexual intercourse. This behavior was driven by the fact that homosexual preferences are considered as unnatural behaviors that diverge from a variety of existing social rules, values, and norms. Therefore, counseling teachers are expected to thoroughly and extensively provide guidance about deviant behaviors such as homosexual. With adequate knowledge, students can take care of themselves and restrict themselves from falling to deviant behaviors against the social norms.

Abstract

Kata kunci:Perilaku toleransi, teknik modeling simbolisPerilaku toleransi merupakan hal yang harus dikembangkan kepada semua siswa di sekolah, agar terbentuk karakter siswa yang menghargai perbedaan dalam menjalani roda kehidupan dalam bermasyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan perilaku toleransi siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh melalui teknik modeling simbolis,serta melihat ada atau tidaknya peningkatan perilaku toleransi siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan teknik tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk pre-experiment, one group pre-post test design. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling berjumlah 10 orang dari 52 siswa yang memiliki perilaku toleransi rendah. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket berskala 1-4. Uji paired sample sign-test yang dipakai untuk melihat ada atau tidaknya peningkatan perilaku toleransi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa teknik modeling simbolispada siswa, terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata posttest lebih besar dari pretest yaitu 117,4≥94,1 yang berarti, adanya peningkatan skor perilaku toleransi siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan teknik modeling simbolis. Peningkatan skor rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan sebanyak 23,3. Adapun perubahan positif (+) atau X sebanyak 10 oleh sebab itu, dengan melihat tabel binominal n=10 dan p=0,5, maka probabilitas untuk X≥10 adalah 0,001 dan karena 0,001 lebih kecil dari pada 0,05 maka pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini Ho ditolak. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor perilaku toleransi sampel sebelum dan setelah diberikan teknik Modeling Simbolis.Hal tersebut dapat dinyatakan pula bahwa adanya peningkatan dan perubahan perilaku toleransi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh setelah diberikan teknik modeling simbolis.

Abstract

Keywords: Concern Parents, Teens Friendship QualityParents who care about their friendship would seek in such a way that the children can have a good friend in the neighborhood. This study seeks to describe the correlation between the awareness of parents with teenage friendship quality in SMP N 10 Takengon. This study aims to determine the existence of a significant relationship between the awareness of parents with teenage friendship quality. The population in this study are students of SMP N 10 Takengon totaling 120 people. The sampling technique in this research is nonprobability sampling. This study is a quantitative study with descriptive and correlational. The data collection is done by spreading the questionnaire instrument. Those items which are responded by survey respondents in the answers to the five categories. The data were processed and analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that the awareness of parents in SMP N 10 Takengon in general are in the medium category, while the quality of adolescent friendships in middle category. Data analysis technique used in the study to be missed formulation number 1 and 2 is a descriptive analysis of the percentage, whereas for the formulation of the problem number 3 using Product Moment correlation test. The results of data analysis using correlation there is a significant correlation between the awareness of parents with teenage friendship quality are obtained r_xy, that there is a significant correlation between the awareness of parents with teenage friendship quality. Thus the higher the awareness of parents, the better the quality of friendship with the child in SMP N 10 Takengon. Some suggestions are recommended

Abu Bakr, M.Si Keywords: Self-Regulation, Single Mother, Teens This study entitled "Self Regulation In Single Mothers Who Have Children". The purpose of this study to find out how self-regulation in the single mother who has a teenage son. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research location is housed in Johan Pahlawan sub-district of West Aceh district with 5 key respondents. The process of collecting data using interviews conducted during the first week. Data analysis using case analysis per respondent narrative. The results showed each of the respondents have a self-regulation vary. Each respondent memili its own way of regulating itself. Respondents first, second, fourth and fifth more democratic parenting apply to the child are free to express their opinions, while the third respondent is applying to authoritarian parenting. Single mothers in the district Gupta heroes have been able to regulate itself properly, they already have a clear objective and a plan to regulate the behavior of children.
