Abstract

The waters of Gunung Payung in Kutuh Village have the potential to become a location for seaweed cultivation development. One of the seaweed cultivation developments that can be applied as an economic driver during the pandemic is the use of bag systems in seaweed cultivation. The method used in this activity is to provide assistance in applying the bag system to seaweed cultivation in Gunung Payung Waters. BUMDA Kutuh was involved too as a partner in this activity. Community representatives of seaweed cultivation group members participated in the socialization held at Gunung Payung Beach Hall and practiced bag making directly. The seaweed bags were made from 12inch pipes with a size of 1.5 m x 1m x 0.5 m, where 1 large bag consisted of 3 small bags measuring 0.5 m x 1m x 0.5m. The number of bags made was six. Each bag contained as much as 500 grams of seaweed seedlings, which were then put into the bag without tying. After the bags were ready for use, the installation and planting of seaweed seedlings were carried out at the lowest tide, around 16.00 WITA, in the waters of Gunung Payung. The conclusion of this service activity is that the community welcomes the service activities and is enthusiastic about participating in the training activities, as can be seen from the interaction of the participants during the activity. Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to increase awareness in eradicating narcotics abuse, provide information to the public about criminalization for the community and parents/guardians who do not report narcotics abuse and educate related to state policies in terms of rehabilitation. Socialization is directed at the scope of eradicating narcotics abuse. The method used is the method of socialization / counseling, lectures, discussions, question and answer. The results of this service study show that narcotics crime as an extraordinary crime has damaged the nation's next generation and the negative impact caused is extraordinary. There is a criminal threat for the community and parents/guardians who do not report narcotics abuse and there is free rehabilitation for the community as well as loss of criminal responsibility (cannot be prosecuted) if the community volunteered for rehabilitation. This confirms that narcotics is still a threat so that community participation is needed in its eradication, one of which is by reporting narcotics crimes that occur and rehabilitation in terms of healing is important for addicts. This service is very meaningful as an effort to eradicate narcotics abuse, especially by embracing the community so that they can play an active role. Abstract

Abstract

The productivity of tilapia is influenced by the rate of growth of fish and the dilution of fish, as well as the feed used during the cultivation process. The use of biofloc techniques greatly affects the growth rate and dilution of fish and can reduce feed costs. Biofloc is composed of floc-forming microorganisms that utilize feed residues and fish feces so that they become natural feed with the help of decomposing bacteria. The use of biofloc can increase fish growth because biofloc can provide natural feed. Such additional (natural) feed has a protein source that serves to increase the growth of farmed fish. In addition, to feed, an important thing to increase the productivity of tilapia is disease prevention. This activity has been carried out on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Mina Tirta Pertiwi Pokdakan, Gunung Salak Village, East Selemadeg District, Tabanan. This activity was attended by group members, Fisheries Extension Officers from the Fisheries Service of Tabanan Regency, service teams and resource persons as well as students. This service activity has been carried out well and the team aided in the form of tilapia fry and tools and materials for making biofloc. The hope of this activity is that group members continue to apply the knowledge that has been obtained so that they can increase the production of tilapia. Abstract

Sipatuo Farmers Group is the Dairy Cow Farmer Group in Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. Their main income is Dangke, which is a local cheese. Dangke production is highly dependent on milk production and quality. The farmer's problems are low production and quality of Holstein Friesian milk, high production costs, expensive concentrate, and the farmers holding limited arable pastures that are not high enough to provide feed for cows. Chemical fertilizer input is one way to increase the dry matter (DM) yield of forage. However, the prices are increasing by more than 100%. Thus, the objective of this program is to implement the alley cropping system to increase DM yield and pasture quality. The program begins with socialization, sharing knowledge, and discussion with the farmers, and the next day continues with transplanting Indigofera zollingeriana to Pennisetum purpureum pasture for arranging the alley cropping system. Implementing this system not only increases the DM yield and forage quality but also reduces fertilizer costs. High DM yield and pasture quality will provide pasture to meet the target of increasing milk production and quality. The increase in milk production and quality will increase Dangke production, it leads increasing the farmers' life. Keywords: alley cropping system, dangke, Indigofera

Abstract

Swimming is a sport that requires good technique and physical ability to do it. Swimming involves all the physical components of strength, endurance, flexibility, and agility. These physical components can be improved by carrying out the right exercise program, but the right exercise program can only be obtained if an examination is carried out according to the procedure so that the provision of training can be tailored to the needs of each individual. This service aims to optimize athlete performance through appropriate physiotherapy examinations and interventions by paying attention to aspects of individual needs. The specific targets to be achieved from this activity are to check the strength of the core muscles, check the flexibility of the hamstring muscles, and provide physiotherapy interventions to swimming athletes at the Takahide Swimming Center. The method used to achieve this goal is to carry out service by coming directly to the Takahide Swimming Center. This service activity involves 3 members who are lecturers as well as physiotherapists. This service begins with a survey of the Takahide Swimming Center, followed by examinations and physiotherapy interventions. All members of the Takahide Swimming Center swimming group have a good value of hamstring muscle flexibility with an average value of 10 – 16cm for males, while the average value for women is 11 – 20 cm. While the value of core muscle strength in swimming members is in the average category, namely 14-30 times in 1 minute, but there are also those who have core muscle strength values in a good category, namely 31-40 times in 1 minute.
