Abstract

The development of the study of Qur’an in line with the rise of Islam in the middle ages, the west sought to understanding Islam. As the entrance to understanding Islam through the study of Qur'an. The first western study of the Qur’an was the translation of Qur'anic text into Latin and Other European Languages. Then it developed into another study of  Qur'an. This paper answers how the origins of the study of Qur’an among Western scholars. And how the dynamics of the study of the Qur’an in the West occurred. this article got to the point of discovering that, there are three models of Qur'anic studies that are popular and developed among Western scholars. first, studies that seek To find Jewish-Christian influence in Qur'an. Second, a study that completes the chronological sequence of verses of Qur'an. Third, studies that discuss the mismanagement or certain aspects of Qur'an.

Abstract

From the very beginning, Hadith came with inherent problems. At least, two aspects always accompany the study of the Prophet's Hadith, namely authenticity and authority. Authenticity has been a subject of study to challenge hadith scholars, from the past until now. The best achievement from study of Hadith authenticity is knowing and discovering the origins of Hadith, both in aspects of time and place. The authority aspect of hadith as a source of Islamic teachings was well resolved by al-Shafi'i (d. 204) until he received the title nasir al-sunnah. This article intends to introduce the latest trends in the study from origins of Hadith; first, regarding the time, when a hadith appears, second, regarding the place where a hadith was born. To produce a convincing formulation, the author uses the study of regional Hadith (regionalism). In conclusion, regional Hadith studies can answer not only when, but also where a hadith was born and became mainstream in a particular area.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe business in the view of Islam according to Ibn Ubaid in Al-Amwal. The focus studied is business as a da'wah movement that has an impact on the social welfare of the people as exemplified by the role model of Muslims, Prophet Muhammad SAW. Through literature review, data collection comes from books and articles and analyzed and triangulation of data. Through this method, it can be explained that Islam accommodates every human effort in managing his life through business. It is based on teachings that are attentive to social life so that an Islamic business culture is formed which leads to social welfare through three main assets as a guide, namely, profit (material) and benefit (non-material), growth and blessings. Quraish Shihab shows that Islam's attention to every business that contains benefits for others deserves appreciation in one's spiritual quality. In addition, economic stability and good governance of state administration are factors for creating prosperity by adhering to the principles of monotheism, the benefit of mankind, the unity of humanity, the belief in the unity of the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

This article discusses about israiliyyat story opus by Jamaluddin al-Qasimi in his interpretation's book Mahasin al-Ta’wil. The method used in measuring validity or not, the author uses the standard al-naqd al-matn, because most of the history of israiliyyat by al-Qasimi is not accompanied by sanad or reference sources. The author examines nine narrations of israiliyyat  t from the book of Mahasin al-Ta’wil with the standard method of criticism matan. The result: (a) three history of israiliyyat is considered sahih, namely: in verse 50, 51 surah al-Baqarah, and verse 36 surah Yusuf, (b) four narrations of israiliyyat are considered maskut ‘anhu, namely: in verse 54 surah al-Baqarah, verse 155 surah al-A'raf, preamble surah Yusuf and verse 54 surah Yusuf, (c) two narrations israiliyyat is considered vanity, namely: in paragraphs 142 and 155 surah al-A'raf. So, Mahasin al-Ta’wil is considered unclean from al-dakhil source, because the source israiliyyat which is judged to be invalid and maskut'anhu.

Abstract

The delaying of uṣūl al-tafsīr study in the world causes its stagnancy in Indonesia. Muhammad Afif Dimyathi as a productive scholar presented his work entitled “ilm al-tafsīr: Uṣūluhū wa Manāhijuhu as to answer the need of uṣūl al-tafsīr literature in Indonesia especially for Islamic universities. Containing 14 chapters, This book could systematically present some representative objects of uṣūl al-tafsīr study such as basic discussion of tafseer, methodology , trend and some rules of Qur’anic exegesis. By Afifuddin’s work, uṣūl al-tafsīr can be presented as simple and systematic object although in terms of content, He was still repeating objects discussed by other previous scholars. The affirmation of tafseer’s authority is a main character of  his tought arising from traditionalist culture.

Abstract

Korupsi merupakan tindak kriminal berbasis pengkhianatan dan pengambilan milik pihak lain secara ilegal telah melembaga dan menyejarah, sehingga sulit melakukan upaya-upaya pemberantasannya, padahal dampak destruktifnya kepada rendahnya moralitas cukup fatal. Al-Qur`an dan kitab-kitab tafsir telah menginformasikan bahwa oknum-oknum di institusi penegak hukum di masa jahiliyah dan awal Islam telah terjebak dengan tindak korupsi, sistem kontrol di waktu itu tidak berjalan karena tersumbat, inkonsistennya para penagak keadilan dan masyarakat terhadap rujukan hukum yang benar hingga upaya perbaikannya belum menjadi milik publik.

Abstract

Diskursus tentang hukum dakwah dalam kajian ilmu tafsir menyisakan perdebatan yang panjang; antara fardhu kifayah dan fardhu ain. Sementara pemahaman mengenai kewajiban dakwah menjadi faktor yang pada menjadi motivasi setiap individu untuk berdakwah, yang selanjutnya juga berpengaruh pada kontribusi perkembangan dakwah Islam dalam skala yang lebih luas. Paper ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pandangan para mufassirin mengenai hukum dakwah; secara khusus analisa tentang tafsir surah Ali Imran: 104. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan analisa komparatif ke atas kitab-kitab tafsir; baik yang klasik (Salaf) ataupun modern (khalaf). Kajian mendapati bahwa terdapat titik persamaan dan perbedaan di kalangan ahli tafsir mengenai hukum dakwah. Titik persamaan terletak pada kesepakatan mereka mengenai kewajiban dakwah bagi orang Islam, meskipun mereka berbeda pendapat mengenai level kewajibannya.

Abstract

Mental health is a harmony in life that is manifested between the functions of the soul, the ability to deal with the problems faced, and being able to feel happiness and positive self-efficacy. If every individual lives healthy, the family and society will also be healthy, because humans are social creatures. Therefore, it is necessary to make various efforts to create health, both physical health and mental health in living life. The formulation of the problems contained in this study are: (1) How is mental health in the perspective of psychological interpretation of the Thematic Al-Qura>n Tafsir by LPMQ Kemenag RI?, (2) How is Psychological Theory Study of the Thematic Al-Qura>n Interpretation of LPMQ Ministry of Religion RI? This type of research is library research (Library Research). Source of data, primary data source used by the author is the thematic interpretation of the Qur'an by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and secondary data sources used by the author are books, journals, articles related to mental health and psychology. The technique of collecting and analyzing data in this research is by looking at and analyzing the interpretation of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia on verses that explain mental health in the thematic interpretation of the Koran on health by LPMQ Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in the perspective of psychological interpretation and strengthening it with the opinions of other commentators and psychologist. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that mental health in the perspective of psychological interpretation of the thematic interpretation of the Qur'an by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, it can be concluded that the main characteristics of a healthy mentality are; have faith which is the basis of all their attitudes and behavior, able to adapt to the reality and able to free themselves from heart diseases such as; jealousy, jealousy, revenge, prejudice, showing off, pride, anger, neglect and forgetfulness, misgivings. Frustrated, greedy, able to establish relationships with other people and mutually beneficial, free from anxiety and tension, able to obtain satisfaction from the struggles of life, has a sense of loyalty to friends to others, prefers to give than to receive, able to direct problems into construction completion..Kesehatan mental merupakan keharmonisan dalam kehidupan yang terwujud antara fungsi-fungsi jiwa, kemampuan menghadapi problematika yang dihadapi, serta mampu merasakan kebahagiaan dan kemampuan dirinya secara positif. Apabila setiap individu hidup sehat maka keluarga dan masyarakat  juga akan ikut sehat, karena manusia merupakan makhluk sosial. Oleh karena nya perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya agar terciptanya kesehatan baik kesehatan fisik maupun kesehatan mental dalam menjalani kehidupan. Rumusan masalah yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana kesehatan mental dalam perspektif  tafsir psikologi pada Tafsir Al-Quran Tematik Karya LPMQ Kemenag RI?,(2) Bagaimana Telaah Teori Psikologi Terhadap Tafsir Al-Quran Tematik LPMQ Kemenag RI? Penelitian ini berjenis library research (Penelitian Kepustakaan). Sumber data, sumber data primer yang digunakan penulis yaitu tafsir al-Quran tematik kesehatan karya LPMQ Kemenag RI dan sumber data sekunder  yang digunakan penulis yaitu buku, jurnal, artikel yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan mental dan psikologi. Teknik pengumpulan dan penganalisisan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara melihat dan menganalisis penafsiran Kementrian Agama RI tentang ayat yang menerangkan mengenai kesehatan mental pada tafsir al-Quran tematik kesehatan karya LPMQ Kemenag RI  dalam sudut pandang  tafsir psikologi dan menguatkannya dengan pendapat mufassir lain dan pakar psikologi. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesehatan mental dalam perspektif tafsir psikologi pada tafsir al-Qura>n tematik kesehatan karya LPMQ Kemenag RI dapat disimpulkan ciri utama mental yang sehat yaitu; memiliki iman yang menjadi landasan semua sikap dan tingkah lakunya, mampu beradaptasi terhadap kenyataan mampu membebaskan diri dari penyakit-penyakit hati seperti; dengki, iri hati, dendam, buruk sangka, pamer, sombong, marah, lalai dan lupa, was-was. Frustasi, rakus, mampu menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain dan saling menguntungkan, bebas dari kecemasan dan ketegangan, mampu memperoleh kepuasan dari upaya perjuangan hidupnya, memiliki rasa setia kawan terhadap sesama , lebih senang memberi dari pada menerima, mampu mengarahkan permasalahan menjadi penyelesaian konstruksi.

Abstract

This paper examines the meaning of the word Maraja al-Baḥrayn according to the interpretation of Fakhruddin al-Razi and Ibn 'Arabi. These two commentators were chosen to find out more about the meaning of the word from a Sufistic and scientific point of view, because at first glance, the two perspectives seem to contradict each other. In addition, this study also aims to find out how the interpretation of Maraj al-Bahrayn word according to Al-Razi and Ibn 'Arabi and compare their interpretation of that word. The interpretations of the two figures were analyzed using the discussion hermeneutic method from Schleiermacher.Tulisan ini menggkaji tentang makna kata Maraja al-Baḥrayn menurut panafsiran Fakhruddin al-Razi­ dan Ibn ‘Arabi. Kedua mufassir ini dipilih untuk mengetahui lebih dalam lagi makna kata tersebut dari sudut pandang sufistik dan sains, karena jika dilihat sekilas, kedua perspektif tersebut seolah saling bertolak belakang satu sama lain. Selain itu, kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penafsiran kata Maraj al-Bahrayn menurut Al-Razi dan Ibn ‘Arabi serta membandingkan penafsiran keduanya terhadap kata tersebut. Penafsiran kedua tokoh tersebut dianalisa dengan meggunakan metode hermeneutika pembahasan dari Schleiermacher.

Abstract

Every societies lives a culture. No society grows without culture. Including the Prophet Muhammad who lived in Arab culture. Arab traditions have been embedded in their environment in various aspects of life, such as the culture of clothes. Arabic culture with Malayan culture is certainly different. So that to understand the hadith about clothing needs to use a cultural approach to understand the desired context of a hadith. This study aims to look at the hadith about how Prophet Muhammad dress and how contextualized with the traditional clothes of the Riau Malay community. Method of this research is library research. The results of this study indicate that although the traditional clothes of the Riau Malay people are not robes like the clothes that the Prophet used to wear, the spirit of Islamic doctrine in Riau Malay traditional clothes is reflected in the colors, motifs, and noble values contained in.
