Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the effect of quality assurance, transformational leadership, academic culture and work commitment toperformance.This quantitative research using a survey method and techniques of path analysis. The population was lectures of private higher Education in Jambi and 196 lectures were taken as samples and selected by using proportional sampling. The result of data analysis showed that: (1) quality assurance, transformational leadership, and work commitment effect positively to lectures’ performance; (2) quality assurance, transformational leadership, and academic culture also effect positively to work commitment; (3) transformational leadership effect positively to academic culture. Therefore, the quality assurance, transformational leadership, academic culture, and work commitment in private higher education should be developed to improve lecturers’ performance.Keywords : Quality assurance, transformational leadership, academic culture, work commitment, and performance lecture

Abstract

This research was conducted as a learning alternatives for study of CT (computed tomograpghy) imaging using image reconstruction technique which are inversion matrix, back projection and filtered back projection. CT imaging can produce images of objects that do not overlap. Objects more easily distinguishable although given the relatively low contrast. The image is generated on CT imaging is the result of reconstruction of the original object. Matlab allows us to create and write imaging algorithms easily, easy to undersand and gives applied and exciting other imaging features. In this study, an example cross-sectional image recon-struction performed on the body of prostate tumors using. With these methods, medical prac-titioner (such as oncology clinician, radiographer and medical physicist) allows to simulate the reconstruction of CT images which almost resembles the actual CT visualization techniques.Keywords : computed tomography (CT), image reconstruction, Matlab

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research discusess the physics of motion particulally contained in the mobile gameUltraflow so this game could be an alternative media that can help teachers to explainphysics of motion to students in an interesting way and not boring. This research studyphysics focused on physics of motion which are contained in part 1, 2, 3 and 6 of thegame and only one level that that had been chosen as representation of these parts.Level 7 had been selected as the representation of part 1, level 13 had been selectedas the representation of part 2, level 24 had been selected as the representation of part3 and level 40 had been selected as the representation of part 6. Padapenelitian ini kajian yang fisika akan dilakukan hanya difokuskan pada bagian 1, 2, 3dan 6 dan hanya memilih salah satu level yang dapat dianggap mewakili keempatbagian tersebut. Untuk bagian 1 dipilih level 7, untuk bagian 2 dipilih level 13, untukbagian 3 dipilih level 24 dan untuk bagian 6 dipilih level 40. Abstract

Education should be done thoroughly, that besides the cognitive factors take into account so do the affective factor of students. Affective factor is a susceptibility factor that is one students sense of self, others and the environment. For that students need to be introduced to the science that can be honed sense, the science literature. So that students not only develop intellectually, but also emotionally evolved.This research aim is to describe the language, history, tradition and values education literature in Perempuan Kembang Jepun Novel written by Lan Fang. The object of this research is the text of the novel. The theories used include literature anthropology approach and value education.the conclusion of this research that students can learn cultural family relationship and the norm or rules among family, love, peace and tolerance.Keywords : Literature of Anthropology, Family’s Values.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal whether there is influence on the performance of employees working Discipline. The number of respondents as many as 30 employees, research was conducted on the employees of SMAN 113 Jakarta. Data from interviews and questionnaires, the data work discipline and the employees performance of the instrument. Validation data used qualitative and quantitative data analysis by ANOVA. Pearson correlation (Pearson correlation) amounted to 0,747, or 74.7% is the value of r count that shows a strong correlation or relationship between supervision Work Discipline and Performance Improvement employees SMAN 113 Jakarta, testing the hypothesis with t test to prove that there is an influence on employee performance Employee Discipline, Determinant correlation (R2) between the two variables were analyzed using correlation analysis obtained amounted to 55.80%. This means that 55.80% Employee Performance, results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the discipline of work and employee performance with the regression equation Y = 12.428 + 0,663XKeywords: Discipline of work, Employee PerformanceABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap apakah ada pengaruh Disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang karyawan, Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan SMAN 113 Jakarta. Data hasil wawancara dan angket, data disiplin kerja dan kinerja karyawan dari instrumen. Validasi data menggunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif analisis data dengan ANOVA. korelasi pearson (pearson correlation) sebesar 0,747 atau 74,7% merupakan nilai r hitung yang menunjukkan korelasi atau hubungan yang kuat antara pengawasan Disiplin Kerja dan Peningkatan Kinerja karyawan SMAN 113 Jakarta, Uji hipotesis dengan uji t membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Disiplin Pegawai terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Korelasi penentu (R2) antara kedua variabel dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi diperoleh sebesar 55,80%. Artinya 55,80% Kinerja Karyawan, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja dan kinerja karyawan dengan persamaan regresinya Ŷ = 12,428 + 0,663XKata kunci: Disiplin kerja, Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

"Men sana in corpore sano", strong soul stays within a healthy body. This slogan is firmly attached inside the mindset of the parents who constantly strive to run a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy foods. But now, in the era of modern and fast-paced, food technology developments offer a great selection of processed food products that are attractive and fast to the public without considering the nutrients needed by the human body. In fact, the number of food product advertisement serve the interesting and am-biguous packaging information which impact on consumption patterns that are not based on awareness of eating. Awareness of eating can be formed by the knowledge of the characteristics of all types of daily food. Food chemistry education is one of the right ways to complement public knowledge about the characteristics of all types of daily food, especially about the best nutrients of food needed to maintain his physical and mental health. Finally, when the awareness of healthy foods eating that has been formed and embedded in society as a whole, then it would have a positive impact on the development of a healthy and strong Nation.Keywords : food chemistry education, awareness of eating

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the role of teachers mentors that is facilitating learning for Primary School Teacher Education students (PGSD) Universitas Pelita Harapan when implementing First Field Experience (PPL 1) program. The implementation of the learning process through PPL 1 for student teachers, was strongly influenced by the role of the mentors teachers. The role teachers mentors to help, to be a role model, to do assessment and to give feedback to students teacher facilitate the students and increase their abilities to understand the whole lesson held at school. The role of teachers mentors were expected to have an influence on students in the second PPL, third PPL, and in other learning activities in campus. The research method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative method in which it will describe the results of student assessment to their teachers mentors when in PPL 1. The assessment is a questionnaire with a range of 1 to 5. The statements in the questionnaire were taken from a field experience handbook of Faculty of Education (Teachers College) Universitas Pelita Harapan about the roles and responsibilities of a teachers mentors. The participants involved in this research were PGSD students. Abstract

Abstract This activity aimed to help the children in learning about English by using audio lingual method. This activity was done by using audio lingual method to improve the English language skills of the children who live in Yayasan Yatim Piatu Mahabbatul Yatim, located in kampung Pabuaran Wetan, Ciangsana, Gunung Putri Bogor. This study is aimed for the students that still study in Elementry School. Their skill in English was poor because during this time they assumed that English language subject in the school was very difficult and scary.This activity through English language training, the writers try use audio lingua method to teach the children in the orphanage. In this study use film and song media. This methode was choosen by writers because there is no facility they get from their school. The result of this program showed that they are more anthusias to learn about English than before. They know that English is fun and easy. Something new that they never got before. So, after they learn English in this program, they can develop their skill in English, can help their English lesson at school, and have more confident to study English. Besides that by this study the writers can assess and measure the efficiency of audio lingua method in learning English. Keywords: training, English, and the orphans Abstrak Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu anak-anak dalam belajar bahasa Inggris dengan metode audio lingual.Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan metode audio lingual yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris para anak-anak yang berada di Yayasan Yatim Piatu Mahabbatul Yatim yang berlokasi di kampung Pabuaran Wetan, Bogor.Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk anak-anak yang berada di tingkat pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD). Kemampuan berbahasa   Inggris mereka sangat rendah karena selama ini mereka menganggap bahasa Inggris adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang sulit dan menakutkan. Kegiatan pelatihan bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan metode ALM (Audio Lingual Methode) ini untuk memberikan suasana dan cara yang berbeda dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Dalam kegiatan ini, penulis menggunakan media film dan lagu. Metode ini dipilih karena tidak adanya fasilitas untuk yang mereka dapatkan sebelumnya di sekolah mereka.Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mereka lebih antusias untuk belajar bahasa Inggris daripada sebelumnya.Sesuatu yang baru mereka dapatkan dalam belajar bahasa Inggris dari yang sebelumnya.Setelah mereka belajar bahasa Inggris melalui pelatihan ini, mereka mendapat pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mereka meningkat. Selain itu mereka lebih percaya diri untuk mengikuti pelajaran bahasa Inggris di sekolah, Kata kunci: Pelatihan, bahasa Inggris, anak-anak panti asuhan.

Abstract

This study presents a review on Medical Education Ethics: Modelling on Professionalism. The objective of this study was to review the ethich on medical education that focuses on competency attainment of medical education curriculum in Indonesia. It was conducted using library research where some books were read and reviewed in order to meet the purpose of this study, and the writer was the key instrument. The finding of this study is that ethics, morals, norms, values and professionalism in the field of medical are so important, that it is necessary to be integrated into the curriculum of medical education. Through the integration, it is expected to create graduates who are not only competent in their field knowledge, but also to have good behavior to be modelled in carrying out the profession of a doctor.Keywords : ethics, moral, norms, values, professionalism, curriculum, medical education, and model.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine how far the effect of professional competenceof Religion teacher towards learning outcomes of the students’ cognitive. Due to the timeand effort constraint, Private High School YP.PELITA Pematangsiantar is then chosen asthee location to conduct this study. The population and the sample is 46 students. Themethod used is descriptive, while analysis and tools used in data collection was aquestionnaire enclosed a questionnaire for the variable X (Influence of Religion Teachersof Professional Competence), and to strengthen the collection of such data, do experimentsin the field. To know the effect of the PAK Teacher Professional Competence LearningOutcomes Cognitive Students used a statistical test of correlation coefficient, from thecalculation results obtained by testing the correlation r = 0.45 and a test of determinationas much as 20.25%, while to determine the significance of the correlation coefficientwhether or not to use the real level 0, 05 by using the t test with the testing criteria whent_hit <t_tab then the hypothesis is rejected and unacceptable in other respects. Results oftesting the hypothesis obtained t_hit> t_tab (2.39> 1.68), thus the hypothesis is accepted.The influence of Religion Teachers Professional Competence reached an average of 2.39with a level of classification is very influential, while the Cognitive Learning OutcomesStudents achieving an average of 2.42 with a good classification. So it can be argued thatthe influence of Religion Teachers Professional competence against Cognitive LearningOutcomes of Students in Private School YP.PELITA Pematangsiantar.Keywords: Professional Competence, Cognitive Learning OutcomesABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pengaruh kompetensiprofesional Guru PAK terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa (Di SMA Swasta YP.PELITAPematangsiantar). Adapaun alasan memilih tempat karena untuk menghemat waktu dantenaga, maka untuk populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah berjumlah 46 Siswa. Metodeyg digunakan adalah deskriptif, sedangkan analisis dan alat yang digunakan dalampengumpulan data adalah angket tertutup berupa kuesioner untuk variabel X (PengaruhKompetensi Profesional Guru PAK ), dan untuk memperkuat pengumpulan data tersebut,dilakukan eksperimen di lapangan. Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompetensi ProfesionalGuru PAK terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa digunakan uji statistik koefisien korelasi,dari hasil perhitungan pengujian korelasi diperoleh r = 0,45 dan uji determinasi sebanyak20,25%, sedangkan untuk mengetahui signifikansi tidaknya koefisien korelasi digunakantaraf nyata 0,05 dengan mengunakan uji “t” dengan kriteria pengujian bila 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑡< 𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑏maka hipotesa ditolak dan dalam hal lain dapat diterima. Hasil pengujian hipotesadiperoleh 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑡> 𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑏(2,39 >1,68), dengan demikian hipotesa diterima. PengaruhKompetensi Profesional Guru PAK mencapai rata-rata 2,39 dengan tingkat klasifikasisangat berpengaruh, sedangkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa mencapai rata- rata 2,42dengan klasifikasi baik. Jadi dapat dikemukakan bahwa adanya pengaruh kompetensiProfesional Guru PAK terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa di SMA Swasta YP.PELITAPematangsiantar.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Profesional, Hasil Belajar Kognitif
