Abstract

Abstract: The Perception of Traders at Pasar Agung Denpasar about Pilot Market Empowerment Management Program. Traditional markets have been facing great pressures from the modern ones. In order to create competitive advantages of traditional markets, the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia has executed a program empowering traditional markets both phisically and non-phisically. The program has been running for about one year out of three years in total. Pasar Agung is one of the traditional markets chosen for this pilot project. So far, phisical empowerment has been completed but the non-phisical one has not started yet. This research aims to investigate whether or not the program has been successfully creating Pasar Agung’s competitive advantages based on the sellers’ perception. Having surveyed the population of sellers in Pasar Agung of 337 sellers, this research finds that majority of them respond positively the phisical empowerment but the reverse exists in the non-phisical one, especially in empowering managerial skills for Pasar Agung’s management team as well as empowering economic condidition of the sellers. This research suggests the Ministry of Trade to continue this empowerment to create competitive advantages of traditional markets and improve the economic wealth of sellers and the society as a whole. Abstrak: Persepsi Pedagang di Pasar Agung Denpasar Tentang Program Pemberdayaan Manajemen Pasar Percontohan. Pasar tradisional telah menghadapi tekanan yang luar biasa dari pasar modern. Dalam rangka meciptakan keunggulan bersaing pasar tradisional, Kementerian Perdagangan Republik Indonesia telah menjalankan program pemberdayaan pasar tradisional baik secara fisik maupun non-fisik. Program tersebut telah berjalan sekitar satu tahun dari total tiga tahun yang dijadwalkan. Pasar Agung adalah salah satu pasar tradisional yang terpilih dalam proyek percontohan ini. Sejauh ini, pemberdayaan fisik telah dilaksanakan tetapi pemberdayaan non-fisik belum dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keberhasilan program ini dalam menciptakan keunggulan bersaing Pasar Agung berdasarkan persepsi pedagang. Setelah mensurvey 337 populasi pedagang di Pasar Agung, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa mayoritas pedagang merespon pemberdayaan fisik secara positif tetapi tidak untuk pemberdayaan non-fisik terutama tentang pemberdayaan keterampilan manajerial untuk pengelola Pasar Agung dan pemberdayaan kondisi ekonomi untuk pedagang. Penelitian ini menyarankan Kementerian Perdagangan untuk melanjutkan pemberdayaan ini dalam rangka menciptakan keunggulan bersaing pasar tradisional serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan pedagang dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan.   Kata Kunci:     Pasar tradisional, pemberdayaan fisik dan  non-fisik, keunggulan bersaing, dan persepsi pedagang

Abstract

The result of this research showed that the Total of Tourists Visit, Room Occupancy Rate, Amount of Restaurants positive and significantly influenced to the Hotel and Restaurant Tax. Total of Tourists Visit, Room Occupancy Rate, Amount of Restaurants positive and significantly influenced to the GDRP, Hotel and Restaurant negative and significantly influenced to the GDRP. Tax Hotel and Restaurant Tax is not a variabel, which mediate the influenced of Total of Tourists Visit, Room Occupancy Rate, Amount of Restaurants to the GDRP. Based on the conclusions, the suggestions is to the government have to maintain the quality of tourism facilities, especially hotels and restaurants as well and create an equitable development in the tourism.

Abstract

The Effect of Local Revenue, Surplus of Financing Budget, and Flypaper Effect on Opportunistic Behavior of Regency/City Budget Compiler. Opportunistic behavior is a behavior which trying to achieve the desire in every way even that is illegal. This research aims to examine PAD, SiLPA and flypaper effect on the OPA. This research used the secondary data. The amount of the populations were 9 Regency/City in Bali with fiscal year 2009-2013. The sampling method used is purposive sampling which took three public service budgets Regency/City in Bali. The analysis technique used is the panel data regression. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis reaksi pasar modal Indonesia atas kebijakan tax amnesty dan perbedaan reaksi pasar modal antara perusahaan kecil dan perusahaan besar. Reaksi pasar dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan CAR (Cumulative Abnormal Return). Model perhitungan CAR yang digunakan adalah mean adjusted model, dengan jendela peristiwa 7 hari di sekitar tanggal peristiwa. Ukuran perusahaan dibedakan berdasarkan aset untuk menentukan kelompok perusahaan kecil dan perusahaan besar. Seluruh perusahaan yang termasuk dalam indeks KOMPAS 100 tahun 2015 dan 2016 digunakan sebagai populasi dengan menggunakan purposive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah one sample t-test, dan independent t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat reaksi positif atas peristiwa pengumuman kebijakan tax amnesty dan reaksi pasar lebih kuat pada perusahaan besar dibandingkan perusahaan kecil. Abstract

Analisa Penggunaan Label Informasi Nilai Gizi pada Produk Pangan oleh Konsumen di KotaSemarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa penggunaan label informasi nilai gizipada produk pangan oleh konsumen. Data didapat dari distribusi kuesioner kepada 200 responden diSemarang dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner terstruktur dengan kombinasi tanggapan pertanyaanpilihan dan tanggapan pertanyaan bebas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan variabledemografi antara lain jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat pendidikan dan pendapatan per bulan. Data ditampilkandengan menggunakan analisa statistik deskriptif dan distribusi frekuensi, sedangkan analisa uji Chi-Square digunakan untuk menunjukkan hubungan antara variabel demografi dan pemahaman konsumenterhadap label informasi nilai gizi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas konsumen (55%)membaca label informasi nilai gizi kadang-kadang. Namun, konsumen (53%) menganggap bahwa labelinformasi gizi yang ada saat ini terlalu ilmiah dan sulit untuk dipahami. Hasil beda nyata didapat darihubungan variabel usia, tingkat pendidikan dan pendapat bulanan terhadap penggunaan label informasinilai gizi. Konsumen dengan usia lebih tua, konsumen dengan pendidikan lebih baik, dan konsumendengan pendapatan lebih tinggi cenderung membaca dan menggunakan label informasi nilai gizi.Abstract. Analysis of Labeling Nutritional Information Value of Food Products by Consumers inSemarang . The objective of this study is to analyze Indonesian consumer in using nutrition informationon packaged food product. Data was collected from a total of 200 respondents living in Semarang byusing a structured questionnaire with combination of closed and open-response questions. Researchwas conducted respecting demographic variables including gender, age, education level, and monthlyincome. Descriptive statistics and frequency distribution analysis was generated to display the data,while Pearson Chi-square test was presented to identify relationship between demographic variablesand consumer attitudes toward nutrition labels. The results showed that the majority (55 percent) readnutrition labels sometime. However, consumer (53 percent) found that the nutrition labels were tooscientific and hard to be understood. Significant differences were found between age, education level,monthly income and use of nutrition labels. Consumer with old age, high-educated, and high incomepeople tended to read nutrition labels more frequently.Keywords: nutrition label, food, attitude, label use, Indonesia

Abstract

Strategy Map of Balanced Scorecard: Management System for Company Strategy Implementation (Study Case of PT Erratisa Purnama) PT Erratisa Purnama engaged in the school uniforms production and trading. Existing planning systems rely on a budget, it is not sufficient to maintain the viability of the organization in a competitive & complex business environment. Therefore, the company’s vision, mission, and strategy need to be translated into a balanced scorecard management system. The research objective is to design a strategy map for PT Erratisa Purnama in explaining the strategic objectives and the process of value creation. Further more to design performance benchmarks in translating the strategic objectives (contained in the strategy map) to the measures, targets, and initiatives. Abstract: The Effect of Tourism Attractions, Hotel Restaurants, Travel Agencies on LaborAbsorption and Per capita Income The purpose of this study is analyze:1) direct effect oftouristattraction,hotel restaurant,travel agency on employment. 2)direct effect oftourist attraction,hotelrestaurant,travel agency and employment on percapita income. 3)indirect effects of touristattraction,hotel restaurant,travel agencyon percapita income through employment. The analysistechnique uses path analysis. Results of the simultaneous direct effecttourist attraction,hotelrestaurant,travel agency on employmentis positive significant effect, and will have positiveimplications for tourism sector employment. The results of the simultaneous direct effect betweentourist attraction,hotel restaurant,travel agency, and employment on income percapita had positivesignificant . The results of this analysis have implications for increasing percapita income in thedistricts / cities of the Province of Bali. The results of indirect effect of tourist attraction,hotelrestaurant,travel agencyon the percapita income through employment with a causal step, Hotelrestaurant and travel agency had a positive significant effect on percapita income.Effect of touristattraction on percapita income through employmenthad positive influence not significant. Abstract

The Impact of the Financial Performance Component on Capital Expenditures and Economic Growth. This study was aimed to examine the directly influence of the financial performance component on the capital expenditure of local government, examine the directly influence of the allocation of capital expenditure on economic growth and examine the indirectly influence of the financial performance on economic growth through capital expenditure of district/city in The Province of Bali. Data, analyzed using path analysis with Eviews program, were based on secondary data (a panel data that is a combination of cross section data with time series data). The results showed that the degree of  decentralization and effectivity of local revenue (PAD) had positive effect on capital expenditure, while the financial dependence had negative effect on capital expenditures. Capital expenditures had positive effect on economic growth. Three of the five indicators financial performance of local governments, such as the level of decentralization, financial dependence, and the effectiveness of local revenue (PAD),had indirectly effect on economic growth in the District/City throught allocation of capital expenditures in The Province of Bali. Keywords: capital expenditures, economic growth, financial performance

Abstract

Abstract: The Role of Education and Training in Moderating the Effects of ComputerizedSystems and User Competence on SIA Performance. Revenue Agency has an important andstrategic role to increase regional income in Bali Province. Therefore, it needs to be supportedby an effective and efficient accounting information system. The purpose of this study wasto obtain empirical evidence of the influence of computerized systems and user competencieson the performance of accounting information systems and to obtain empirical evidence ofthe role of education and training in moderating the influence of computerized systems anduser competencies on the performance of accounting information systems at Bapenda in BaliProvince. The population in this study were all SIA users in Bapenda, Bali Province. The methodof determining the sample using a saturated sampling technique, so that the entire populationof 42 employees is used as the research sample. The analysis technique used is ModeratedRegression Analysis (MRA).

Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of Quality Improvement Strategies of Human Resources as the Effort of Poverty Reduction in the District of Nusa Penida.This study discusses about the strategy for improving the quality of human resources in Klungkung regency, which is focused in the village of Nusa PenidaBatukandik. The analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. Analytical results from this study can be described as follows: (1) analysis of the indicator variable quality of human resources (HR) provides results of several indicators that are analyzed, showing the quality of human resources related to living conditions itself, and (2) SWOT analysis carried out showed that the results of the village Batukandik have different strengths that can be utilized in an effort to alleviate poverty. But keep in mind a fundamental weakness, namely the availability of clean water is very limited, and a low sense of optimism and initiative of rural communities to improve quality of life.
