Abstract

Funding and accountability have always been a major problem in financial management of education in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to know the financial management of education at MTs. Wihdatul Fikri on the aspect of funding sources and accountability of Madrasah. This research was a qualitative research using a case study method. The data collection techniques used in this study were documentation and in-depth interview. The results showed that 1) MTs. Wihdatul Fikri relied on tuition fees on BOS from government (the government fund from 2014 to 2016 was Rp. 207,850,000); 2) from 2014 to 2016 other sources of funds received by MTs. Wihdatul Fikri only came from IP and individuals which was lower than those from government (it was only Rp. 69,200,000); 3) the accountability of MTs. Wihdatul Fikri was low because there was no transparency in the report of madrasah accountability, either related to BOS funds or other funds from IP.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of the learning facilities on the teacher?sperformance at Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. It aims to: 1)Describe the actual learning facilities; 2) Describe the actual teacher?s performance;3) examine the influence of learning facilities on teacher?s performance at Public JuniorHigh School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. This research uses quantitative methodologywith ex post facto. the samples of this research are 29 teachers of Public Junior HighSchool 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. The data were collected using questionnaires andvisual documentations, and then were analysed using product moment correlationcoefficient, simple linear regression, as well correlation. The data analysis indicatesthat: 1) the actual learning facilities are placed in ?adequate? category, indicated by76% ; 2) the favourable score of the actual teacher?s performance with 70% score;3) a 19% positive influence with coefficient correaltion value of 0,437 and regressionequation value of Y: 61.638 + 0.152 X can be seen from the impact of learning facilitieson teacher?s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of teacher professionalism and emotional quotient to teachers? performance of Islamic religious education at Islamic Junior High School 2 Bulukumba. This research is a field research by using quantitative approach through the ex post facto method. The participants of this research are 120 students from 604 students, taken through proportional random. Data collection technique with questionnaires and then analyzed by using regression analysis to examine the hypothesis. The results of this study show that partially, the teachers? professionalism has a positive and significant effect on teachers? performance of Islamic religious education, as well as the emotional quotient has a positive and significant effect on teachers? performance of Islamic religious education. Simultaneously, teachers? professionalism and emotional quotient has a positif and significant effect on teachers? performance of Islamic religious education Thus, teachers? professionalism and emotional quotient are the factors that determine the level teachers? performance of Islamic religious education at Islamic Junior High School 2 Bulukumba.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan penyiapan kurikulumpendidikan karakter, (2) mengkaji penyiapan guru pelajaran pendidikan karakter, (3)mengkaji pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan karakter, dan (4) mengkaji evaluasikurikulum pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan studimultikasus. Peneliti adalah instrumen utama. Teknik sampling adalah snowball sampling.Pengumpulan data menggunakan: wawancara mendalam, observasi-partisipan, danstudi dokumen. Subyek penelitian ini adalah Mantan Kasubdin SMP, Mantan KepalaSekolah, Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, dan Guru-guru SMP di Surakarta.Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas. Teknik analisis lintaskasus adalah constant-comparative model Glaser dan Strauss (1967). Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penyiapan kurikulum pendidikan karkter menghasilkanperangkat pembelajaran. (2) Penyiapan guru berupa pengenalan materi dan pelatihanmetode pembelajaran pendidikan karakter, 3) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikankarakter meliputi: (a) tujuan pembelajaran: menanamkan nilai moral, membiasakanperilaku, dan mencegah perilaku tercela; (b) materi pembelajaran mencakup nilainilai:ketuhanan, diri sendiri, lingkungan sosial, dan spiritualitas; (c) metodepembelajaran: student-centered learning dan pembiasan; (d) sarana-prasarana danmedia pembelajaran: mushola, Lab. Budi Pekerti, kantin kejujuran, multi media, bahancetak, dan obyek fisik. (e) evaluasi pembelajaran: observasi, skala sikap, dan laporanwali kelas; (f) dampak pembelajaran bersifat individual dan institusional. (4) Evaluasikurikulum: (a) menjadi umpan balik untuk perbaikan kurikulum dan pelaksanaanpembelajaran, (b) menginformasikan adanya hambatan, dan (c). dinyatakan efektif.Menghilangnya monev dari Dikpora mengakibatkan bervariasinya penyelenggaraanPendidikan Karakter di sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of professional competence and teachers? discipline to teachers? performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Gantarang District of Bulukumba Regency, both partial and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with the ex post facto method. Respondents in this research are 41 teachers, taken purposive from 196 teachers. The data collection methods used are questionnaire and documentation then analyzed by using regression analysis to examine the hypothesis. The results of this research indicate that: 1) professional competence affect to teachers? performance with relative contribution of 40,2% and effective contribution of 17,2%; 2) teachers? discipline affect to teachers? performance with relative contribution of 59,8% and effective contribution of 25,6%; 3) professional competence and teachers? discipline together affect to teachers? performance with relative contribution of 100% and effective contribution of 42,8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik dalam menggunakan huruf kapital melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas IIA SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan Kab. Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan nilai tes dan data hasil observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Peningkatan hasil belajar pada prasiklus menunjukkan ketuntasan sebesar (59%) 17 peserta didik kemudian meningkat pada siklus 1 menjadi (66%) 19 peserta didik dan (86%) 25 peserta didik pada siklus II. Dengan demikian penerapan project based learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik kelas II SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan Kab. Semarang.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to evaluate the implementation of clinical supervision in improving standard process for mathematics teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pandawai. This study is an evaluation research. By using a discrepancy model. Data collections uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of the research is principal, vice principals and mathematics teachers. The results of this study stated that: 1) at the design stage,the principal has planned well about the implementation of clinical supervision, but in teacher teaching practices there are still gaps especially in the steps of learning (in preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities); 2) at the installation stage, the teacher has done and paid attention to three aspects of learning, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation based on government regulations; 3) at the process stage, the school has made joint decisions, and has understood and carried out clinical supervision procedures. However, the follow-up aspects have not been carried out by schools to mathematics teachers according to the schedule, and the procedures have been set; 4) at the outcome stage, there are still differences between the results and the expected ones. It caused because the teacher has not doing innovated learning and evaluation at the end of each lesson.At the end of the material in each chapter, the teacher?s lack of ability to manage the class so that student learning interest decreases.

Abstract

Environmental education provides opportunity to joyful learning with integrate ofeducational contents and entertainment activities. Understanding environmentaleducation is greatly helped by the existence of new technology waves. Fast-movinginnovation of new technology waves is digitalization. That is called the fourth industrial revolution. One of them is Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. AI knowledge and innovation systems have made promising help students to realize that it can be increase respect for oneself and others, express feelings and opinions, and build logical thinking about science, mathematics, computer, etc. This paper build based on elementary school student experiment in Surakarta about how to understand digital technology based on AI and environment. This study is ethnography and qualitative research. As a data collection instrument, the study uses an assesment consisting of observation and questionnaire. This paper reports on 1) creating ideas resources, 2) learning educational contents and entertainment activities, 3) understanding feedback interaction, and 4) evaluating the challenges. The end of this paper shows that AI is very helpful in environmental education for elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the correlation between madrasah climate and culture, and teachers? work motivation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sinjai District of Sinjai Regency. This research uses a correlational study with quantitative approach. The participants of this research are 64 teachers from Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sinjai District. Data collection technique with questionnaires and then analyzed by using product moment correlation for partial testing and multiple correlation for simultaneous testing. The research reveals some significant findings. First, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah climate and teachers? work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,448 (which is at moderate level correlation). Second, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah culture and teachers? work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,559 (which is at moderate level correlation). Third, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah clime and culture, and teachers? work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,572 (which is at moderate level correlation).

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implantation of academic supervision of supervisors in the development of Islamic Religious education teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah of Bulukumba Regency. This research is a qualitative research with the phenomenology approach. The subject of this study is the supervisors, head of Madrasah, teachers, and students at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Falah. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. Processing techniques and data analysis through data reduction, data display, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of academic supervision of supervisors at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah of Bulukumba Regency from the planning aspect, monitoring program has been included either because the supervisor has done the planning before conducting supervision activities by making agreement with the madrasah personnel to be supervised so as to prepare. However, the teacher's aspect of coaching has not been well-running so much of the assessment aspect. Thus, the results of the implementation of the academic supervision of supervisors in the development of Islamic Religious education teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah of Bulukumba Regency is not optimal so it still needs to be improved, especially on the aspect of development and judgment.
