Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan dampak pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap niat berwirausaha, menjelaskan dampak pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap EBI, menjelaskan dampak EBI terhadap niat berwirausaha dan menjelaskan peran EBI sebagai mediator dampak antara pendidikan kewirausahaan dan niat berwirausaha. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap pada mahasiswa program S1 Reguler FEB-Unud yang telah lulus mata kuliah kewirausahaan dalam kurun waktu tiga semester terakhir. Penelitian menggunakan sampel individu sebagai unit analisis dengan ukuran sampel responden 200 orang dan dibagi ke dalam tiga prodi secara proposional. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis SEM berbasis AMOS. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan berdampak signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha, pendidikan kewirausahaan berdampak signifikan terhadap EBI, EBI berdampak signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha, dan EBI berperan signifikan memediasi secara parsial dampak pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap niat berwirausaha. Artinya bahwa, menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan niat berwirausaha lulusan perguruan tinggi, dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan kewirausahaan, namun pendidikan tersebut tidak sepenuhnya harus dibebani dengan peningkatan nilai-nilai karakter individu (EBI). Kata Kunci: pendidikan kewirausahaan, entrepreneur behavior index (EBI), dan intensi/niat berwirausaha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh family supportive supervisor behavior (FSSB) terhadap work life balance (WLB), employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja pada perawat yang berstatus telah berkeluarga dan menjalani pekerjaan dengan sistem shift. Penelitian ini melibatkan 101 perawat RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang yang berada pada instalasi rawat inap (IRNA 1 dan IRNA 2) untuk menanggapi kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis) menggunakan SPSS 16.0. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa FSSB tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap WLB, namun FSSB berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja

Abstract

This research aims at examining the effect of corporate social responsibility on firm performance. Sample of the study consists of company that listed on Jakarta Islamic Index during 2013-2015. This study uses multiple regression to test the hypothesis. The result shows that corporate social responsibility has positive effect on firm performance. The higher performance of corporate social responsibility, the better firm performance. Therefore, corporate social responsibility are able to drive firm performance better. Further, the study investigates in more deeply the effect of corporaqate social responsibility on the firm size and leverage. This provides similar result for each models. Thus, this study offers empirical evidence that corporate social responsibility has positive value to the firm performance.

Abstract

Repurchase intentions occur when service users or customers are satisfied and get what they need. This study aims to determine the effect of monetary sacrifice and service benefits on repurchase intention mediated by customer value. This research was conducted on customers of PT. Garuda Indonesia Persero Tbk. The number of samples taken was 112 respondents, with nonprobability sampling method. Data collection was obtained from distributing questionnaires. Data analysis using path analysis and multiple test. The results of this study indicate that monetary sacrifice has a positive effect on customer value. Service benefit has a positive effect on customer value. Monetary sacrifice has a positive effect on repurchase intention. Service benefit has a positive effect on repurchase intention. Customer value has a positive effect on repurchase intention. Monetary sacrifice positively influences repurchase intention mediated by customer value. Service benefit has a positive effect on repurchase intention mediated by customer value. The implication of this research is expected to be a reference for the management of PT. Garuda Indonesia Persero Tbk. in providing benefits in the form of good service and giving a special impression to customers.

Abstract

Social media technology has become part of the community needs, not only as a means to socialize but also to support business operations. In the MEA era, the demands of the market expansion of business networks become mandatory for employers, including for SMEs. This study aim to analyze the motivational factors of SMEs to use social media technologies to support their business activities. This study used survey technique and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling with PLS analysis tools. The results showed that perceived enjoyment have positive effect on the perceived ease of use of social media technology, Perceived ease of use have positive effect toward the perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment and perceived ease of use have positive effect to attitudes towards the use of social media technology, Perceived usefulness and attitude towards the use of social media technology have positive effect toward the intention of using social media technology.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to analyze the performance of modern retail toward the importance of modern retail based on the perspective of modern retail consumers. The use of the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method is to measure the importance of modern retail attributes according to the perceptions of modern retail consumers. These researches were involved 244 respondents, randomly selected through online surveys. The results showed that there were no differences in consumer perceptions between the types of modern retail hypermarkets and supermarkets in general. The indicators that are the main priority for improvement sequentially are the unfavorable activities, price fairness with quality, the gentleness of employees, and quality assurance of the product. The indicators such as good quality of products, product variations, ease of product information search, spacious rooms, easy accessibility, availability of domestic products, affordable prices, and ease of obtaining low-priced products, have met customer expectations so the development in these aspects should be used for developing high importance attributes.

Abstract

Tujuan studi secara kuantitatif ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerbitan Indonesia Government Securities (IGS) terhadap dana pihak ketiga (TPF) dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja perbankan nasional. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regressi berganda dengan variabel tergantung jumlah outstanding IGS (OSIGS) dan kinerja perbankan nasional. Variabel bebas dari kinerja perbankan nasional terdiri rasio kecukupan modal (CAR), rasio imbal-balik aset (ROA), biaya operasional terhadap pendapatan operasional (OEOI/BOPO), rasio bagian pendapatan bersih (NIM), dan rasio pinjaman terhadap dana (LDR). Periode data penelitian dimulai dari tahun 2007S1-2016S1 dengan data konsolidasi kinerja perbankan nasional dari seluruh jumlah bank umum ( commercial bank) sebanyak 118 bank. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa: (1) TFP dan CAR berpengaruh negatif terhadap kenaikan outstanding IGS; (2) LDR tetap bertumbuh kendati kenaikan outstanding IGS meningkat; dan (3) ROA, OEOI dan NIM tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan oustanding IGS. Implikasinya terhadap dana pihak ketiga secara langsung berhadapan dengan pemerintah dalam penghimpunan dana melalui penerbitan IGS.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan dimensi Banking Service Quality (BSQ) terhadap Kepuasan Nasabah Bank Syariah di Kabupaten Jember. Dimensi BSQ yang diteliti meliputi keefektifitan dan jaminan, akses, harga, keterwujudan, portofolio jasa dan keandalan. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan confirmatory research dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Populasi penelitian adalah nasabah Bank Syariah milik Pemerintah Cabang Jember (BNI Syariah, BRI, Syariah, Mandiri Syariah, dan Bank Jatim Syariah) yang mencakup nasabah penabung dan peminjam dana. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive convinience sampling dengan jumlah sampel 120 nasabah yang dialokasikan secara disproporsional ke masing-masing bank. Dalam studi ini digunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program software Amos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empat dimensi BSQ (keefektifian dan jaminan, akses, harga serta keterwujudan) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Nasabah. Sedangkan dua dimensi lainnya, yaitu dimensi portofolio jasa dan keandalan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan nasabah.

Abstract

The selection of marketing strategy is very important for the sustainability of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Choosing the best marketing strategy is a process involving problem of multiple decision-making criteria, which considers many attributes in various phases of a strategy formulation method. This paper proposes a model of selecting marketing strategy for Batik Madura SMEs. The model selected five criteria including customer networking, innovation capabilities, managerial competency, human capital, and company reputation based on literature reviews and focus group decision-making discussion. Analytic network process (ANP), decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) and technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS) methods were applied to obtain an impact relation map from each criteria and to determine the priority of marketing strategy. The implementation of the model shows that Batik Madura SMEs should maintain their focus on segmentation marketing as the most appropriate marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the warrants offerings in the Initial Public Offerings in the Indonesian Capital Market are carried out as a form of staged financing mechanism (Schultz, 1993) or are an attempt to convey signals about the company (Chemmanur and Fulghieri, 1997 ). The study was conducted on 96 IPO companies during the 2010-2013 period on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that IPOs with warrants are carried out by companies that are younger, have lower profitability, and with the tendency of owners to maintain a lower proportion of ownership after IPO. The results of the OLS analysis show the higher initial return of IPOs with warrants than normal IPOs. Probit analysis shows that the decision to conduct IPOs with warrants is influenced by age and leverage. The results of the study, in general, support the staged financing theory.
