Abstract

Coffee is a superior commodity in Temanggung Regency. Post-harvest processing affects the quality of a coffee product. The Robusta Temanggung Coffee Geographical Indication Standard governs the standard of processing. This research aims to analyze the attitude of robusta coffee farmers towards GIs based coffee processing standards. The study uses a descriptive method. The respondents were 80 robusta coffee farmers in Temanggung Regency. Questionnaires are structured using a Likert scale. The data collection using random sampling techniques. The data analysis using the scoring method. The results showed that farmers had a good attitude towards GIs-based coffee processing standards, agreeing to GIs based sorting, drying, and storage processes. Farmers have not been motivated to measure coffee bean water content according to GIs standards due to facility constraints. Intensive education, motivation, facilities, and mentoring are required for farmers to implement GIs-based coffee processing standards.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty on Purchase Decision of Sadari Kopi Coffee Products in Surakarta. The basic method of this research is descriptive analysis and survey. Determination of the research area using a purposive method, while determination of the sample using a non – probability sampling method with purposive sampling type. The sample consists of 100 respondents. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire distributed directly to respondents. Instrument testing (validity and reliability test) and data analysis (multiple linear resression analysis, classic assumption test, hypothesis test) using SPSS 25.0. The result proved that brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty simultaneously have a positive influence on purchase decision of Sadari Kopi coffee products in Surakarta. Brand association and brand loyalty partially has a positive effect on purchase decision of Sadari Kopi coffee products in Surakarta, but brand awareness and perceived quality partially has no significant effect on purchase decision of Sadari Kopi coffee products in Surakarta. Consumer loyalty can be increased by creating a member card and loyalty program. Sadari Kopi is expected to maintain and enhance brand associations by increasing the perception of positive value to consumers through coffee to go concept. This can be enhanced by introducing and educating the concept of coffee to go through the Sadari Kopi social media account.

Abstract

UKM Murni Snack adalah UKM di Kabupaten Sukoharjo Jawa Tengah yang bergerak di bidang makanan ringan. UKM ini kurang memiliki daya saing, karena kondisi dari tahun ke tahun relatif sama. Padahal persaingan usaha makanan, semakin hari semakin ketat. UKM ini memiliki permasalahan antara lain label kemasan yang masih sederhana, kemasan produk masih biasa, dan keadaan UKM belum bisa berkembang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu sosialisasi kegiatan; introduksi label, kemasan dan hand sealer; pelatihan kewirausahaan serta kegiatan pendampingan. Tim pengabdi melakukan kegiatan yang terdiri dari perbaikan label kemasan, mengintroduksikan jenis kemasan yang bersifat marketable dengan menggunakan kemasan standing pouch, mengintroduksikan alat berupa hand sealer, dan kegiatan pelatihan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sudah dapat memberikan perbaikan kondisi UKM, pengetahuan UKM meningkat dan pemasaran menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

FMA (Farmers Managed Extension Activities) atau Kegiatan Penyuluhan yang Dikelola oleh Petani bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan petani sebagai wirausaha agribisnis dalam mengakses dan mengelola informasi dan inovasi secara mandiri dalam mengembangkan agribisnisnya dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan pelaku utama (petani). Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi diseminasi FMA di Kabupaten Temanggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dengan alat analisis yaitu SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini berupa rumusan strategi diseminasi FMA di Kabupaten Temanggung meliputi : Sosialisasi intensif terkait kebutuhan pengayaan informasi dan skill bagi petani untuk meningkatkan motivasi dalam mengakses dan mengelola informasi secara mandiri, Peningkatan akses petani terhadap informasi teknologi budidaya, pengolahan hasil, dan pemasaran melalui berbagai media komunikasi, Peningkatan kapasitas penyuluh/pendamping (PNS, THL, swadaya) dalam hal teknologi budidaya, pengolahan hasil, pemasaran, kewirausahaan dan penguasaan akses teknologi informasi, Peningkatan anggaran dan fasilitas (sarana prasarana) untuk kegiatan penyuluhan dan kelembagaan (pos penyuluhan desa), Pengaturan reward and punishment bagi penyuluh swadaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja dalam penyebarluasan dan pendampingan FMA, Fasilitasi media knowledge sharing antar petani (petani yang telah mengadopsi FMA dan yang belum) sebagai upaya diseminasi FMA, Peningkatan advokasi petani untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengelola informasi melalui kerjasama antara pemerintah, lembaga riset, dan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Social media technology has become part of the community needs, not only as a means to socialize but also to support business operations. In the MEA era, the demands of the market expansion of business networks become mandatory for employers, including for SMEs. This study aim to analyze the motivational factors of SMEs to use social media technologies to support their business activities. This study used survey technique and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling with PLS analysis tools. The results showed that perceived enjoyment have positive effect on the perceived ease of use of social media technology, Perceived ease of use have positive effect toward the perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment and perceived ease of use have positive effect to attitudes towards the use of social media technology, Perceived usefulness and attitude towards the use of social media technology have positive effect toward the intention of using social media technology.

Abstract

Green marketing berkaitan dengan dalam pemasaran produknya mempertimbangkan masalah lingkungan yang ada. Salah satu caranya dengan menggunakan tumbler atau reusable cup dalam pembelian kopi Starbucks. Hal tersebut merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengurangi penggunaan kemasan plastik sekali pakai yang dapat menyebabkan peningkatan jumlah sampah yang dikhawatirkan dapat menganggu lingkungan. Variabel green marketing dengan pengetahuan digunakan untuk mengetahui keputusan pembelian, pengetahuan ini berkaitan dengan pengetahuan konsumen mengenai segala informasi produk tersebut. Data pada penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama kesadaran lingkungan, fitur produk hijau, harga produk hijau, promosi produk hijau, dan pengetahuan terhadap keputusan pembelian kopi Starbucks di Pulau Jawa. Sedangkan secara sendiri-sendiri terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara kesadaran lingkungan, fitur produk hijau, harga produk hijau, promosi produk hijau, dan pengetahuan terhadap keputusan pembelian kopi Starbucks di Pulau Jawa.

Abstract

Persaingan pasar dalam agribisnis kopi robusta semakin ketat. Karakteristik mutu kopi yang khas, unik dan tampil beda yang terindikasi karena pengaruh faktor geografis dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Indikasi Geografis (IG) memiliki peranan penting untuk menarik minat konsumen dengan cara memberikan nilai tambah dan keunikan pada komoditas kopi. Namun, adopsi IG oleh petani kopi relatif rendah, demikian halnya adopsi IG oleh petani kelompok MPIG Kopi Robusta Kabupaten Temanggung. Edukasi mengenai manfaat, proses, kendala dalam adopsi IG diperlukan untuk memotivasi petani kopi dalam adopsi IG. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi petani kopi dalam adopsi standar mutu berbasis IG melalui edukasi IG. Metode yang digunakan antara lain pelatihan, studi banding dan pendampingan adopsi IG. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa petani telah memahami manfaat dan kendala serta tahapan proses panen dan pasca panen berbasis IG. Melalui studi banding ke P4S Semarang, petani kopi juga termotivasi mengadopsi IG. Kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh tim dan pemerintah mendorong petani semakin antusias dalam mengadopsi IG.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the position of the livestock subsector within the framework of the agricultural sector development in the Boyolali District. Furthermore, this research also aims to formulate livestock sector development strategy as an effort to improve its performance. This study is a descriptive analytic with analysis tool used is the Typology Klassen and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the livestock subsector is a potential sub-sectors which means that this sub-sector contribution is greater than the GDP contribution Boyolali district but it has a slow growth rate. Livestock sector development strategy in Boyolali district as follow: Increased production of farm commodities and processed products, strengthening of agroindustry based commodity / farm products, strengthening of capital for farmers and agroindustry, marketing business development for farm commodities and processed products, increase the role of cooperatives and GKSI for support of livestock sub-sector performance and development of fodder innovation.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the factor which motivate commutation and its effect to labour farm household supply. The result show that factors which cause commutation are: (a) support factor: temporer farming and small field (2.214 m2), low farming income (Rp 4.624.040/year), limited chance to work in village and strategic location of village; (b) unsupported factor: expensive transport cost and safeti; (c) interesting factor: variated occupation with high wage in big city and full fasilitation; (d) individual factor: the people in productive years and education level relevant with the job. Finally, by commutation proved have effect to increase the income of farm household.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dynamics of agriculture role in economic development in the region of Solo Raya seen from agricultural sector contribution to the PDRB, the agricultural sector is base sector or not based on the Location Quotien (LQ) analysis, as well as the agricultural sector classification based Klassen Typology analysis. The data used is PDRB of Regency and City in Solo Raya Region and PDRB of Central Java  in 2010-2014 based on constant prices of 2010. The results showed that during the 2010-2014 agricultural sector contribution to the PDRB of Regency / City in Solo Raya Region   tends to decrease. Contribution of agriculture to the PDRB is highest in Wonogiri regency is 35.01% and the lowest was in Surakarta, namely 0.52%. LQ analysis results indicate that the agricultural sector is base sector in Sragen, Wonogiri, and Boyolali and in Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Klaten and Surakarta is not base sector. Based on the analysis Typology Klassen, the agricultural sector in Sragen, Sukoharjo, Boyolali, Wonogiri, Karanganyar, and Klaten, categorized as a potential sector, while in Surakarta categorized as a growing sector.
