Abstract

ABSTRACT New normal Covid-19 situation, causing a change of human behavior which tends to limit physical contact. Marketing strategy by utilizing social media is quite effective to apply. Social media seems to be a particular engagement in life. The study aims to explain the effect of social media marketing engagement, e–WOM, and online purchases on online marketing success and explain the role of e-WOM engagement and online purchasing as a mediating relationship between social media marketing engagement on online marketing success. The study is conducted on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bali that utilizes social media in promoting their products, using a sample of 210 respondents. The results of the analysis are expected to be used as consideration by producers and marketers, to be able to compete in the new normal era of Covid-19. For the government, expected to be an input in policymaking that encourages the pace of Bali's economic growth in the new normal era of Covid-19. The development of the model that becomes the output of this research is a research model related to the development of research variables. There has been no research that has developed a relationship model of social media marketing engagement, e-WOM engagement, online purchases on online marketing success for SMEs in Bali who have implemented marketing by utilizing social media technology. Thus, it is essential to explore the role of technology in developing SMEs in Bali, and it is necessary to conduct more specific research on the relevant variables in implementing a sustainable SMEs marketing strategy. Abstract

ABSTRACT The growing negative public view of Cibaduyut's pros to the production of imported brands, KW, and bootleg as well as shoes offered by local brands is of low quality, expensive, and has not provided benefits. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of brand associations and quality impressions on people's buying interest in Cibaduyut shoes and local brands. The research method uses the PLS-SEM analysis approach with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results show that most local shoe brands are difficult to identify because the average brand colors have similarities, namely black and white, and the durability of the shoes is prioritized because, as various consumers who have bought Cibaduyut shoes and local brands say, they are easily damaged. Consumers will have a good first impression of the brand when shoes have designs that represent themselves or can be called timeless and become the pleasure of users before they buy and get information from previous consumers. It can be concluded that brand associations and quality impressions have a significant effect on consumer buying interest with a very strong correlation.

Abstract

The study will contribute to the understanding of risk-taking behavior effect on the MSMEs innovation since the risk-taking behavior is the tendency of business owners for engaging in decisions that may have the potential to be dangerous to their business, especially for the family business to do some innovations nowadays, in the pandemic Covid-19 era. For the family business, the appropriate level of return that the business owner will obtain compensates their risk-taking behavior. These researchers used samples that consist of 307 MSMEs owners that categorized as the family business in Indonesia as the respondents by distributing online questionnaires. Furthermore, this paper also used control variables, such as the number of family members involved, generation level, founder-CEO duality, and business capital. This study used binary logistic regression for the analytical model. The results show that the business owner's risk-taking behavior, number of family members involved, generation level, founder-CEO duality, and business capital significantly influence MSMEs innovation in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article purposes to investigate the role of trust in manager in influences empowering leadership to employee performance. Drawing on a sample of 217 bank employees in Indonesia, path analysis was employed to analyze data. Firstly, the finds of a path analysis expressed that the influence of empowering leadership has a positive on trust in manager and employee performance. Furthermore, the study examined the mediating influence of trust in manager between empowering leadership and employee performance. The study shows that empowering leadership is not useable to culture of Western only, but it also suitable in Indonesian culture. The study's limitations are the data have been collected from banking employees. This can cause common method bias. In the banking case, empowering leadership can increase employee performance through trust in manager. Training should be prepared for banks leaders with a particular train on simplifying the behaviors of empowering in them. The study on investigating the influence of empowering leadership on employee performance via trust in manager as a mediator variable is very limited.

Abstract

In the age of globalization where the midst of increasingly fierce competition, human ability as a resource for mastery of technology, adaptation and responsiveness to change is needed. This research is done to explore and analyze the impact of job satisfaction and competency on employee performance. Besides that organizational citizenship behavior is a mediating variable. Respondents used in this study were employees of the Garment Company factory in Semarang Regency as many as 105 people. The questionnaire method is used to collect the primary data needed. The AMOS SEM program is used for analytical tools. The results of the study found that: 1). Employee competency variables and job satisfaction variables have a positive influence on OCB. 2). Employee competency variables and job satisfaction variables have a positive influence on employee performance. 3). OCB has a positive influence on employee performance. 4). Employee competency variables and job satisfaction variables have a positive influence through OCB on employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Persaingan yang semakin ketat di dunia otomotif menuntut setiap perusahaan otomotif khususnya produsen sepeda motor untuk berinovasi mengikuti perkembangan selera dan kebutuhan pasar. Seluruh perusahaan sepeda motor, khususnya perusahaan sepeda motor Jepang, terus berjuang untuk merebut hati konsumen dan berharap produknya dapat menguasai pasar sepeda motor di Indonesia. Mereka harus menerapkan strategi bisnis mereka dengan tepat untuk memenuhi target pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk, promosi, dan asosiasi merek terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang objektif, meliputi pengumpulan dan analisis data pengujian statistik. Dengan menggunakan program SPSS, data penelitian ini menghasilkan persamaan regresi sebagai berikut: Y = - 0,558 + 0,158X1 + 0,235X2 + 0,196X3+e. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas kualitas produk, promosi, dan asosiasi merek secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sebagai perbandingan, uji t menunjukkan bahwa asosiasi merek merupakan variabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan.

Abstract

Pendapatan Usaha Mikro dan Kecil bidang Kuliner di Banjarbaru pada tahun 2015-2019 mengalami peningkatan. Perkembangan usaha dapat dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi kewirausahan dan faktor eksternal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik individu dan karakteristik psikologi terhadap kompetensi kewirausahaan, pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan dan faktor eksternal terhadap kinerja usaha, dan pengaruh faktor eksternal terhadap kompetensi kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik survei. Alat analisis data menggunakan SEM. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 210. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung dan google form melalui whatssapp responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wirausaha yang ulet dan memiliki motivasi yang tinggi maka kompetensi kewirausahaan tinggi. Wirausaha yang memiliki kemampuan teknik yang tinggi maka kinerja usaha tinggi. Wirausaha yang memiliki jaringan sosial yang banyak maka kinerja usaha tinggi. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah karakteristik individu dan karakteristik psikologi berpengaruh positif terhadap kompetensi kewirausahaan, kompetensi kewirausahaan dan faktor eksternal berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja usaha.

Abstract

In order to determine the effect of corporate governance on the corporate value, then moderating the relationship with enterprise risk management (ERM) is the aim of this study. This study collected secondary data from financial statements and annual reports for the 2016-2020 period of 87 companies as the sample and used panel regression as the analysis method. The results showed a significant positive effect of the audit committee on corporate value, while an independent commissioner had a significant negative effect. This study also shows no significant effect on the corporate value of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board size, and board director. However, ERM moderated the relationship between the audit committee and corporate value and between managerial ownership and corporate value. Keyword: Corporate governance, corporate value, ERM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Countercyclical, COVID-19, and Financial Distress of Rural Bank Setting the Agenda for the Post Covid-19's Stimulus. The research design used in this study is an associative design. This study uses two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study, in addition to examining the effect of the independent variables (ROA, CAR, and NPL) on the dependent variable (Financial Distress) which is moderated by the moderating variable (GCG). The sample in this study was 134 rural banks in Bali. Bali was chosen because Bali was most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic because the tourism MSME sector is the main economy in Bali. The result of this study is Profitability (ROA) has a significant negative effect on Financial Distress. CAR has a significant negative effect on Financial Distress. NPL has a significant positive effect on Financial Distress. GCG is a Quasi Moderation variable. GCG strengthens the negative effect of ROA on financial distress. GCG weakens the effect of CAR on financial distress. GCG does not moderate the effect of NPL on Financial Distress

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional pada komitmen afektif melalui pemediasi pembelajaran organisasional level individu dan motivasi. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu rumah sakit di bawah Yakkum di Kota Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan transformasional pada komitmen afektif. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran organisasional level individu dan motivasi berperan sebagai pemediasi sebagian.
