Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of principal’s leadership on the teachers’ performance in Senior High School 6 Cirebon. The variables are the principal’s leadership (X) and teachers’ performance (Y). The sample consisted of 15 teachers and 34 students. The instruments are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique was inferential analysis techniques with simple regression. Based on inferential statistical calculations of hypothesis testing, the value of t or Ha = 3.412 was greater than the value obtained from the distribution table t table or Ho = 1.684 with a significant level of 5% (Ha≥ Ho) = (3,412 ≥1,684). This research proved that the A hypothesis was accepted, O hypothesis was rejected. It means that the principal’s leadership the influences the teachers’ performance in Senior High School 6 Cirebon City. Keywords: competence, responsibility, structure, managerial

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan gambaran yang jelas tentang manajemen TQA dan perbedaannya dari tiga sistem yang diberlakukan, yaitu TQA sistem tartibiyah (tertib berurutan), TQA sistem maudhu’iyah (modul), dan TQA sistem maddah hifdziyah (kajian materi hafalan), dalam memahami al-Quran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang mengkaji suatu karya dokumen yang berisi tentang pemahaman al-Qur’an untuk anak-anak, dalam hal ini TQA, oleh karena itu teknik content analysis diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Sumber data yang utama berupa dokumen dalam bentuk buku pegangan santri TQA dalam memahami al-Qur’an. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pemahaman al-Qur’an dalam TQA terdiri atas kemampuan memberi syakal (tanda baca), menterjemahkan lafdhiyah (kata demi kata), menterjemahkan lengkap ayat, memberi keterangan singkat/tafsir, dan mengkaji ilmu tajwid. (2) Setelah menempuh pendidikan di TQA, santri TQA sistem tartibiyah (tertib berurutan), telah menyelesaikan 100 ayat pertama dalam surah al-Baqarah (Q.S.: 2), santri TQA sistem maudhu’iyah (modul) menyelesaikan 30 modul, sedangkan TQA sistem maddah hifdziyah (kajian materi hafalan) menyelesaikan 16 LKS (Lembar Kegiatan Santri). (3) Manajemen TQA yang lebih efektif dari ketiga sistem yang berlaku adalah TQA sistem maudhu’iyah (modul), karena media pembelajaran pada sistem tersebut lebih lengkap untuk pemahaman santri terhadap al-Qur’an, lebih fleksibel, dan jelas serta mudah diterima. Sedangkan sistem yang efisien adalah TQA sistem  maddah hifdziyah (kajian materi hafalan). Kata Kunci :  Manajemen Pemahaman al-Qur’an, Ta’limul Qur’an, Aulad, Anak

Abstract

Abstract Islamic religious learning should not be merely delivering material, but also instilling values and implementing it. In fact, so far the learning of Islam in schools is more limited to knowledge, because it is not managed properly, so it does not change behavior. However, something different happened in State Elementary School Mega Eltra, learning of Islamic religion through the habituation of the dhuha prayer could already be carried out in good learning management, even in conditions of limited religious facilities. For this reason, this research was intended to reveal more about religious learning through the habituation of the dhuha prayer in the Mega Eltra State Elementary School. This research was descriptive qualitative. The instruments were in-depth observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction, data display, and data conclusions. The findings showed that principals and religious teachers plan religious learning through curriculum development and meetings. Religious learning through habituation of dhuha prayer in state elementary school Mega Eltra was carried out in good management. It was indicated by students’ enthusiasm taking ablution and performing dhuha prayer. Dhuha prayer was held in Islamic Education subjects. Dhuha prayer was carried out by students of grades 2 to 6. However, the place of worship was inadequate. Regularly, evaluations were carried out at teacher meetings. Keywords: practice, value, example

Abstract

Abstrak Ilmu dalam pandangan Islam adalah bagian penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Ia mesti dipelajari dan dimiliki oleh manusia termasuk dalam hal ini ilmu manajemen pendidikan. Dalam perspektif Islam, ilmu manajemen pendidikan mesti memuat prinsip dan nilai Islam yang dapat membimbing siswa menuju eksistensinya sendiri. Ilmu manajemen pendidikan konvensional, secara eksplisit tidak memuat makna yang relevan dengan prinsip dan nilai Islam. Hal ini sangat penting sebab manusia berperilaku dan bersikap senantiasa dibimbing oleh ilmu pengetahuan. Namun, secara implisit, ilmu manajemen pendidikan konvensional yang notabene dimunculkan di Barat, telah menggambarkan konsep manajemen yang dikembangkan Nabi Muhammad. Walaupun istilah yang digunakan tidak sejalan dengan Islam, namun dari isi arti telah selaras dengan prinsip dan nilai manajemen pendidikan Islam, yaitu produktivitas, mensejahterahkan, adanya sistem pahala dan dosa, memperhatikan efektifitas dan efisiensi, sumber daya manusia mesti berilmu, bertanggungjawab, mementingkan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, pelibatan sumber daya manusia, disiplin, adanya standar, dan memfokuskan pada standar moral dan etika pendidikan Islam. Kata kunci : moral, etika, nilai, wahyu, sunnah

Abstract

Profesionalization of Education Management is a strategic sector in developing quality of education as an effort for improving the human resource in the era of millennium developmental goals. On the other hand, Indonesia has low competitiveness caused by low of quality of human resource. Whereas education and educator, educational staff, and institutional management are spearhead in developing quality of human resource. In general, the objective of this research is to formulate a calculation method of performance accountability as an application of principles and theory of strategic management on education activity in IAIN Syekh Nurjati. The method used in this research is non-experimental quantitative research, namely analytical descriptive method. The conclusion of this research are (1) Calculation method of performance accountability used by IAIN Syekh Nurjati refer to recent rules. From point of view of strategic management theory, the two models have a low analysis accuracy. (2) Performance accountability of activity, program, and policy in institutional management of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, all of them are very successful category. (3) Formulation of calculation method of perfomance accountability of IAIN Syekh Nurjati refer to theory of strategic management which in line with characteristics of Strategic Planning of IAIN Syekh Nurjati 2015-2019 and is inaccordance with UNESCO new paradigm of higher education institution (World Declaration on Higher Education for the Twenty First Century: Vision and Action) which is made as reference of new concept of higher education institution development in Indonesia. (4) In management of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, it’s relation are very strong, strong, very strong, and very strong. Further more there are several recommendations, namely (1) On calculation of perfermance accountability for IAIN Syekh Nurjati needed calculation of degree of relationship or influence between policy variables, program, and activity as variables of strategic implementation. (2) Phase of model of strategic management should be agreed by concerning people and decided by people who have jurisdiction to be made as reference and together commitment. (3) For certain faculties, institute, or educational institution at local, regional, or national level it is necessary to appoint a strategic management commitee responsible for developing “Statement of Best Practices” Key Words: Management, Accountability, Performance

Abstract

AbstractAccording to the mandate of the Act, education is to develop character and achievement holistically. It seems that this educational goal does not reach expectations. It can be seen from the rise of elementary school students’ moral decadence. In addition, learning achievement is still lagging when compared in a global context. This condition is quite apprehensive. Therefore, it is necessary to create a religious culture. There are interesting things, however, that happen in State Primary School Pasirkaliki 1 Cimahi and Primary School Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang. Both schools create a religious culture and implicate good manners and achievement of student learning outcomes. This research is based on Lickona's theory. The research method is qualitative descriptive. The instruments are in-depth interviews, in-depth observation, and documentation. The analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. The research findings show that (1) students’ religious culture and good character in elementary education in Java Island both in State Primary School Pasirkaliki 1 Cimahi and Primary School Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang already be implemented well so, generally, it creats students’ good character. (2) Student achievement of primary education in Java Island, State Primary School Pasirkaliki 1 Cimahi and Primary School Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang, is excellent and the best in their region. (3) State Primary School Pasirkaliki 1 Cimahi and Primary School Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang do many efforts in creating a religious culture and outstanding students. Nevertheless, these efforts are quite consistent and serious in the frame of habituation and exemplary to learners. (4) The headmaster of State Primary School Pasirkaliki 1 Cimahi has performed formally her role, and less active when compared with her role subordinate (a teacher). This means that the role of leadership seems to be taken over by this teacher. Meanwhile, the role of school principal Primary School Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang is quite good and dominant. He became the mover of his subordinates in creating a school religious culture.Keywords: Culture, Religious, Character, Achievement
